Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst Fusion

I smelled this in store without knowing what it was trying to be a clone of and was quite impressed with it off the rip. With that being said, I own Il Padrino and this is not exactly close. Il Padrino is much deeper and has a more syrupy and boozy tone to it, much better blend as well, so if you were going to buy this with the hopes of replicating Il Padrino, you will be upset, but if you haven't actually smelled the OG you will probably find it enjoyable all the same. Now, despite what I have said above, there are some positives for this one, because this is a lot less syrupy and deep. I feel like it is more versatile than Il Padrino, which is more of a date night/special occasion type scent; this can be worn anywhere as long as it's cool. The price is also crazy good, $49 AUD is great value for this, and considering at that price you can get around 6 bottles for the price of one Il Padrino, it is probably worth it if you do not care about the quality. 7.6/10

This will be popular. I haven't smelt Il Padrino, but to me this is like a fruiter, less dense version of Initio Side Effect. Also has the sweet base from Clive Christian Blonde Amber. If you like those two fragrances, you will enjoy this. From the notes, absolutely get the fruit, I smell orange, like a syrupy orange, maybe with a bit of dried fruit style sweetness. Plus sweet caramel smell. Then whatever goes into that sweet oriental base that's common between fragrances like Side Effect and Blonde Amber. But this isn't as dense as Side Effect, it's more airy and lighter. More "wearable" day to day. Performance is good / average, not beastly. I sprayed a couple of sprays on my arm 6 hours ago and it's well into the dry down but still a noticeable skin scent. The dry down is kind of generic pleasant sweet oriental smell, but the first 30 minutes is fantastic, love the fruity opening.

Mine just arrived. I have Il Padrino as well. I tested them next to each other. I would say they are about 90% there. The only noticeable difference is the quality of oils. Not to say that this is bad, but there is a noticeable difference. Sospiro is a high end niche fragrance company, of course they use the best. Either way, Idc. I got this because of what it was supposed to be out of curiosity. I absolutely love it. I will probably never buy Il Padrino (which I love) again. On it's own, Amethyst Fusion is amazing and is something I would buy whether it was a clone or not. I will be purchasing this from now on.

It's a very very good new release from Lataffa. A boozy Oriental along the lines of side effect. They're not reinventing the wheel but if you like these type of fragrances you will definitely enjoy this new release.

I just got it, and I am looooving it.

I blind-bought this after watching a review on Fragrance TikTok. I always tell myself to stop blind-buying but there is some sort of thrill I feel when I order a new perfume that I (usually) have high expectations before. But, I should have known better this time around... I have not tried the regular Amethyst Bade Al Oud, but I love Noble blush through and through and is probably in my top 10 fragrances. When I received this fusion launch I just kept thinking about how hyped it was in the TikTok I had previously seen. To my dismay, I sprayed this on paper and was again sadly, disappointed. I guess I was expecting something like Petra but with more nuance and depth? I guess I really didn’t know what I was expecting because I haven’t yet tried the other flankers aside from Noble Blush and Honor and Glory (which I hate). So, I sprayed it on my skin to see if possibly it would smell any different. But unfortunately on my skin, this smells like Coca Cola with patchouli. I’m thinking it’s the amaretto note and the orange zest as the top notes but this literally smells like oud or like some sort of Arabian Coca Cola. I don’t want to give it away yet because I feel like it has a chance but it has to sit for a while before I reach for it. The lasting power on this fragrance is absolutely insane as well. I sprayed maybe like 2x on my wrist, washed my hands/wrists I could still smell this on my wrist hours later. But, this is also a very warm/Fall-coded fragrance that both women and men can wear. Maybe it does better with male Ph but on me, for now, I can’t get behind her yet.

Got this in the other day along with Aribiyat Prestige Cursed and Revolt Uncaged. Tested all 3 around the same time in the same room. Everytime I come back to smell the testers the Lattafa BAOAF is the 1st and mostly only one I can smell and it smells absolutely amazing this one is gonna be a huge hit for a very long 2 weeks lol until the next big clone hits or Badee al oud Black Exposed is easily accessible and if thats better but its gonna be tuff to do im telling ya
