Bayaan

I love love love this fragrance. I thought my bottle was all but empty til I reached for it to have one last sniff before decluttering my stash. I got a few sprays which made my day. Popped into a market with my partner for a lazy Sunday bite to eat and gander at the fares. He and I share a love of fragrances and of shoes. We happened by a stall with clothes and some well known ME fragrance brands. I spotted my beloved Bayaan, @$50AUD a bottle. It broke me a little knowing I'd located it on sale, online for $35AUD- but then shipping costs and time I'd be without her. We tried Apex, for my partner, and Empire Victor for me. We took both of those and 1 Bayaan and as we were leaving, the salesman says, "how about my last Bayaan for $35". He had me. Somehow we both won. It drew me in with something a little minty, creamy warm and sweet with the praline, cardamom and rose. I smell the moss and dry woods, almost smoky, and I still cant get enough of the ebb and flow between the mid and base notes. This is so well done!

...two years later the gasoline smell had died down and that mossy earthiness has rounded out allowing a beautiful, deep dark jammy rose and oud combo to take center stage. I see myself bypassing pricier versions and reaching for this one because of its beefier presence and performance.

I simply adore Bayaan! It truly makes me think about "Arabian Nights" stories, with its rose, fruity and sweet notes. 4 sprays are enough for an entire day and I really feel the scent bubble around me. Price is very good too!

Juicy sweet rosey oudy... In spite of myself feeling that this is a little "much" I really like this one. Feels like deep red-magenta velvet.

It smells like Lancôme L’autre Oud and Shaghaf Oud had a baby with a dash of Ombré Nomade. It smells sooooo good. I love It

This one confuses me a bit... Right when i sprayed it, it gave me a bitter citrus vibe which reminded me of Tom Ford Costa Azzurra, but just minutes into wearing it, it becomes far, far away from Costa Azzurra. It has a bit of sweetness, some fruits, but with smoky and bitter undertones. I like it? At least I think I do :) I only vaguely pick up on the rose though. It does lean a bit masculine, but as a woman I would happily wear this even on a summer day, the bitter moss makes it totally wearable in summer in my opinion.

It smells good! Grown and mature. It’s similar to elixir by Kayali, just replace the apple In elixir with lychee and add moss! It’s a little powdery, green, floral and fruity. The bottle is absolutely beautiful and heavy! It’s unisex but leaning more masculine.

If you ever tried the Oud Bouquet Dna (Shaghaf, Sheikh ASL, etc) and found it too rosy or potent, this is a very tame take on the dna with added fruitiness. There is no earthiness here. Not too sweet. Perfectly ballanced but not too strong.

Leans femine but still unisex imo, I dont like rose notes in perfumery but this one is not agressive, I am pleasantly surprised. it is fresh but I can see it be worn in every season because of the fruity notes that last all the lifespan of the fragrance. Not something i would wear but i appreciate it nonetheless.

To my nose this is MASCULINE. The sweet top notes are gone in an instant, then all that is left is woody, mossy, oud. I am disappointed. I was hoping for a nice balanced fragrance, but this is so masculine that it’s going to be gifted to my alpha male friend. He is going to love this.

Intoxicating and too smoky for my taste. Unfortunately very long lasting if you want to wash it out.

Cheapy, oudy, masculine middle eastern style perfume. Longevity is good, sillage is ok. Nothing special!

Dense, sweet, juicy, intoxicating rose. So sexy and potent. Definitely NOT an Ombré Nomade alternative.
