Nose Note #1022 I cannot believe this. This is the first Outlands dupe I've bought (I have the OG and it blew me away so I hoped there would be a good dupe). Man... I'm smelling them side by side and I'm so happy to say there are minor difference if you dig into it. I guess Outlands feels more "grounded" in the base notes, as if it has natural resins or spices or whatever and Creative Art is only trying to immitate it. The base even gives off a very subtle minty feel. Yeah, Amouage always has these amazing olibanum/labdanum/oriental notes. Creative Art just does not have this extra depth. Not in the air the differences are barely noticeble. Immediately after you spray you think, oh, this is 100% Outlands. Other great thing - performance-wise they are about the same! So, if you don't mind this 4-5% difference this could work as a substitute for Outlands. Or maybe like 6-7%. Leaning masculine. Great performance, just great, very strong. Great sillage 9.1/10, Outlands it is!

If you survive the initial synthetic blast, you'll be pleasantly surprised at what feels finally like a proper Outlands homage. You'll give yourself hope. You'll tell yourself a little maceration will improve it. You'll pat yourself on the back and say 30 bucks was totally worth it. Sadly the honeymoon lasts for about 8 mins. By minute 9 the fragrance has degenerated predominantly into a weak, unrecognizable vanilla / benzoin olfactive mess which will turn heads for all the wrong reasons. Your friends will hate you. Your partner will judge you. Your mom will feel sad for you and hand you some cash so you can buy something better for yourself. You will look into the mirror and question existence. Life will feel pointless. But I'm telling you, there's hope. Don't give up. For the first 8 mins - 7.5/10 9 mins and onward - 0/10 What's up Lattafa? We expect better.
