I've never smelt rooibos tea and blind bought this fragrance at a store because I recalled hearing good things about it online. I enjoy tea, and generally speaking, I "like" most fragrances, so naturally this fragrance was something that seemed like something I would like. I was both wrong and right at the same time. This is a very pleasant smell that is unlike anything I've personally tried. It doesn't smell like any tea I've had, but it's still undeniably a tea fragrance. It has nuances and depth that I don't get from most other Lattafa fragrances and even a lot of designer fragrances. It smells unlike any other in it's category, but doesn't feel groundbreaking. That's exactly what this is, a lowkey, excellent fragrance. Dynasty has a very sophisticated and elegant scent, which to me was completely unexpected for a cheapie. It definitely smells more expensive than it is. It features an uplifting citrus, a touch sweet fruity tea opening, with some spice to round it out. This is personally my favorite part of the fragrance, especially in the air. After the opening, it turns into this slightly more masculine scent, with woody notes and a touch of something animalic (presumably the suede). On my skin, it smells slightly smoky despite that not being a listed note. I think that this is one of those fragrances that grows on you, because at first I wasn't super blown away by it but it quickly became one of my favorites the more I used it. It's not obnoxiously loud, it projects decently and it lasts long. I find that this is something I could wear year-round, day or night, at the gym, to work, or for casual outings. It's probably one of the most versatile fragrances I own because of that. Not to mention, the bottle is heavy and feels high quality. Atomizer is a little on the wider side, but it's decent. And the cap is reminiscent of K by D&G lol. Overall, it presents as a fragrance much more expensive than it is, and has a smell to match. It's not a fragrance that jumps out at me when I'm deciding my scent for the day, but it's often the one I reach for. Totally underrated and I definitely would recommend to tea fragrance enjoyers or those looking for classy, versatile scent. Note: It does smell significantly better on paper for me than it does my own skin. The fruity, sweet and citrus notes are muted on my skin, and the woods, spices, aromatic accord, and smokiness is amplified. But when I catch whiffs of it in the air with the full scent pyramid, it's honestly one of the best fragrances I've smelt.

I'm somewhat new to perfumes and ended up blind buying this one for 3 reasons: -The price -The bottle -I like tea The first two are easy checked boxes, but the fragrance itself took a while to fully win me over. On first spray, I felt that the top end was quite harsh. On my skin it felt very ginger-forward and unpleasantly spicy. I was losing the raspberry entirely and catching only a slight bit of the tea note the scent is known for. Overall I wasn't impressed, but at least I had a pretty bottle for my shelf? The dry down on that first day was what made me really want to stick it out with this one (and it only got better every subsequent day). The top end really mellows out to let the tea and suede shine through, and the wood notes hold the scent together, especially the cedarwood. For me this hits it's peak about 3-4hrs in when it starts to get a beautiful fresh-powdery profile that retains just the best parts of the opening, but puts the tea on a pedestal. It smells clean, sophisticated, and a little addictive. I decided to continue wearing it and the opening is no longer an issue for me. I either got used to it or let it mature enough that the harshness is gone and I get more nuance in the opening notes. I've found that this is a great scent for work. It lasts for 6-8 hours typically with much stronger projection for the first 1-2. It's not going to invade space and offend the noses around you, but people who get close enough will be able to notice. I think this could easily be an all-season fragrance, but if I could only wear it in one season it would definitely be spring! It also lends itself more to daytime wear than nighttime, but really does fine with either. The one thing that I've found that I can't pull off with this fragrance is.... Casual clothes. It feels too sophisticated to not also try to look at least a little bit presentable. It's not a lounge around the house kind of scent for me! As much as I hate to say it, this one is NOT blind-buy safe. Even if I'm addicted now I can really understand why people would put this one down and never come back. Even the matured scent profile is probably not for everyone, but it's great for me. Overall, the TLDR is that it's a great all-season scent that needs a little bit of time before it really shines. Try before you buy if possible, but don't judge too harshly till you let it sit.

Dynasty doesn't match the promised 'fresh spicy' and 'smoky' combination I'm used to. Very fresh, but not aligned with Lattafa's 'fresh spicy' usual idea. Instead, it opens with a clean, uplifting tone. Earthy green ginger tea is Dynasty's main advantage, with slight suede giving the citrus something to lean on, while the dry cedar smooths out the edges. The profile remains tidy rather than plush. Projection is soft. Even at 10+ sprays it sits close, becoming a background scent after ~6 hours. I kept thinking of the bright vibe of Maharjan Silver (with its metallic note removed) and the crisp citrus of CdNIM, braided with a gentle tea note. The overall effect reads more like a woody-citrus take on Liam Grey's tea; not actually similar, but it steers the nose that way rather than toward Liam's vanilla smoothness. Stylistically, it does not come across as Middle Eastern. It stands apart from Lattafa in both scent character and perceived quality, moving in a more neutral, contemporary direction. The optimal price is exactly what I paid, €17 shipped. At that number, it is a solid pick. A tidy, fresh, modern woody citrus with tea. All-year safe, universal, unobtrusive wear; expect it to fade by midday. The appeal is practical — forget about the 'smoky' stuff. If a case is to be made as to one of Lattfa's top five, I reckon this would be an easy feature. Fresh and inviting from the onset. Four notes are quite prominent, Rooibos tea (I don't know what that is), raspberry, clary sage and suede. The aroma of Red Rooibos tea can be described as a robust aroma with hints of dried apricot, baked earth, and light vanilla, which is an apt description, as this tea note smells sweeter than most. The bergamot and ginger at the start are fleeting, and the drydown, is a velvet concoction of cedar, cashmere and amberwood. However as stated prior, the rooibos tea, raspberry, clary sage and suede notes can be smelt for the duration of the scent. Not sure about the nutmeg listed note, but to be frank, I am unable to detect that in most scents. Lovely fragrance if you are into unique tea fragrances. All seasonal scent? Yes, easily usable all year long, fresh for summer and spring and the sweet element for autumn and winter. If I am unable to decide which fragrance to wear, this is the most inviting option Unisex? I would reckon yes, but leaning a bit masculine Blind buy worthy? If you are into unique tea fragrances, yes, as the price is a no-brainer Performance? Longevity, around 7 to 8 hours on skin, much much longer on clothes, and with moderate projection and sillage.

This is an excellent fragrance for the price point. It smells niche. The quality of this juice is superb. Its a great daily driver for the spring and fall and mild summer days. I just wouldn't wear this in the sun because it becomes too much especially in high heat. There is a refreshing clean aspect from the top notes of bergamot and ginger. There are other notes of nuance but that's what you mostly get off the top. Then the raspberry and rooibos tea come into play a lot more through the heart. Followed by very soft woods in the dry down. For a "light" fragrance, it is solid projector and has above average longevity. This is my go to cloudy/rainy day fragrance in every season besides winter. I feel like this is a great "wear with glasses "fragrance, art event fragrance, brunch fragrance, or a sushi dinner fragrance. Once you get it, all of these situations will make sense. All in all, its just a lovely, calming, elegant fragrance.

Such an amazing find, unique fragrance with a lot of personality. Opening is very fresh but more of a spice freshness rather than citrus one, after about 15 minutes a bit of sweetness and suede starts to come out. As it develops on it changes a lot, and after about 2 hour becomes this amazing fruit, suede, gingerish tea scent. When it comes to projection it is definitely on intimate side and i think when it comes to this type of fragrance it is the perfect amount, but do at least 4 sprays. Longevity on my skin is decent but nothing crazy. Dynasty is in my opinion year round fragrance that is made for dressed up occasions. Best thing is how complex yet elegant and versatile this is, definitely has niche quality to it, levels above most designer fragrances. Should you blind buy? I would say smell it first and do not judge on first smell, it changes a lot as it develops and keeps getting better in first 2 hours.

I've had this for about 6 months, and i love it. There is a massive dent in the perfume as of now, as i use it as my daily. Compliments: People do not compliment this fragrance unprompted. Think this is due to its sillage. But my mom loves it. Use: I let this maturate for 1-2 months before i started using it often. Early on the opening was very green and sharp, but this went away. After maturation, i use 6-8 sprays on skin and clothing. It lasts 4-6 hours, becoming intimate around the 4 hours mark. Sillage is not crazy. Smell: This opens green/citrussy. Imagine smelling the stalk of a freshly cut flower and then mixing it with ginger and citrus. Well balanced. Drydown, is aromatic from the rooibos, woody and still gingery, every so slightly sweet from the raspberry. Absolutely lovely, smells so luxurious. If focus real hard, the smokey accord is also present but very much in the background. Grade: 8.5/10

I loove this fragrance. At first smell, I had some mixed thoughts, but after living with it for a day I fell in love. It’s very versatile and easy to wear. Usually you can say that about simple scents, but it’s complex in interesting and appealing way. At first it smells fresh with tea at the background. Even though bergamot is main opening note, it’s not citrusy fresh, I think more in good floral way. With time tea note becomes more prominent and this stage is my favorite. It’s nicely fresh, ever so slightly sweet and the tea note is phenomenal! I always go nose blind quickly, but people say they hear it well, but I think it becomes skin scent after 3-4 hours. At its last breath, it becomes woody, sweet and tea note is also there. And all people I know said it is very nice and luxurious smell. Recommend! It’s my first time ever reviewing any fragrance, so don’t be too harsh:)

Dynasty opens up fresh & spicy then transitions to something herbal & bitter, yet balanced by this smooth & velvety suede accord that adds a touch of elegance & sophistication; the raspberry note is faint but unequivocally there to provide a sweet hint that’s so pleasant, by hour 6 is more of a skin scent, but a really good one at that.. like the smell of an expensive & luxurious tea bar of soap or the smell of an immaculate 5 star hotel lobby, in the best way possible. Can be a polarizing perfume as it lacks that youthful attention seeking sweetness of modern designers; this scent on the other hand is rather restrained, self assured, and suited for someone whose taste is more refined. Clean & stoic, but with an inviting warmth underneath. Niche leaning DNA.

For those with elite ball knowledge, this smells like the lemon-tea hand wash they serve at your traditional upscale chinese seafood banquets. A relatively linear evolution for me, I get a strong “Lipton red tea” smell for most of the day, akin to the smell you get from letting your tea bag sit in your cup for a tad too long, with some ginger embellished on top, and a leathery-woody dry down. There is next to zero sweetness. This is my default fragrance to grab for dinner with my folks, or for when I’m feeing particularly oriental. As this fragrance leans a bit dark, I could see this being worn by men above 30, or by very powerful, established women. I wouldn’t regard it as blind buy safe, but it was a win for me as it smells truly one of a kind.

This scent is hard to describe; it's one of those 'you have to experience it to understand' kind of things. Performance-wise, the longevity isn't very satisfying—even after 2 months of maceration, it's still underwhelming. But if performance isn't a dealbreaker for you, you should get it without hesitation. The longevity is around 4 hours, and the projection is about arm's length for the first hour before becoming a skin scent. It feels incredibly luxurious and is definitely not cloying. While I wouldn't call it a compliment monster, it still gets a lot of compliments. I think everyone should try it, at least as a decant. There's no way anyone could dislike this scent.

This thing is so good right off the box no need for maceration 💪🏽💪🏽 more of a special occasion kind of scent The magic about this one it smells like nothing I've ever smelled before. Well blended unlike most middle eastern frags where some notes are harsh or dominant this one is well blended right away and it smells sooo expensive But don't expect like beast mode projection is more of a mature intimate scent👌🏾👌🏾 Longevity you can easily get 7hrs on skin and 9hrs on clothes As much as is labeled Unisex but to me this is a masculine scent. All in all the best frag I've ever smelled from middle eastern frags Will definitely be getting a backup bottle right away

2nd review of this after 6 months or so. I just bought a second bottle cause I nearly finished it and it was on sale for £14! I truly adore this fragrance. Not only is the quality excellent but the scent profile soothes me especially at home. I have been reaching for this fragrance every day pretty much. I spray a lot and I do not find it offensive. Usually I can be a stickler when it comes to performance but this is a fragrance which I just enjoy spraying and smelling that opening. It clears my mind. Its projection and longevity aren’t great but man is it a good scent. Very few fragrances can make me accept that trade off. I will forever own this.

Lattafa Dynasty Longevity:8/10 Silage: 8.3/10 Scent Profile:9.3/10 Dynasty is another well-crafted signature year round fragrance, but with a little bit of a twist. It starts off with a refreshing burst of tea and citrus, with a bit of raspberry and that fresh spicy ginger. Then, it transitions to a slightly sweet tea and leather note with subtle woods, then finishes with those woods and a velvety cashmere note. Everybody talks about fragrances like Fakhaar Black, Art of Universe II, and Oplulent Dubai, while completely skipping over this fragrance, but it needs way more recognition than it is currently receiving. Great multi-purpose scent. 8.9/10

Lattafa Dynasty is impressive in my opinion. The scent profile is unique and built around a smooth balance of fresh bergamot, ginger, suede, rooibos tea, raspberry, and cashmerean that gives it a luxurious feel. Perfumer Alex Lee did an amazing job with this one. The blend feels thoughtful and distinctive, making it both memorable and very signature worthy. Honestly, with the quality, performance and longevity you get with this fragrance it could easily sell for a lot more than it does. For me that's a 9/10 and a must have in a collection for sure if you like fresh tea based fragrances. I hope you all can enjoy this one as much as my nose did!

I bought Dynasty a month ago and have used 5-6 times on office/formal events. I was looking forward to this scent since its an original creation by Lattafa. This fragrance is unique, hence it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. To my nose - its unique, clean and elegant slighty masculine leaning. Opens with crisp ginger-lemony+herbs with a slight hint of raspberry and quickly settles to a rooibos tea (dont know what this tea actually smells like, but it seems that is what makes it unique) and woody notes as base. Longevity - 6 hours on skin and 8-9 hours on clothes. Leaves a trail. Overall - 8/10 at this price point. This is good!

Luxury in a bottle. Opened my bottle, gave a full wear and after 20 hours this thing is still present on my skin. I could get whiffs random whiffs of if even after 5-6 hours of applying the fragrance. For a freshie, this is absolutely beast mode. Initially I get a very beautiful tea smell which is slightly sweet. In the drydown the tea smell is there in the background and the scent profile becomes a bit darker with the suede coming in. I also get a smoke essence, it's probably form the suede accord, not too sure about that. Overall a solid 8/10 for me. Not blind buy safe though. It seems more of a love/hate type scent.

Lovely rooibos-focused perfume from Lattaffa. Forgot I had it and a few months later decided to try it again, and honestly, it's really good. Not too sweet, and to my nose also not very synthetic. Not overly powerful and would suit someone who'd wear it every day for different kinds of occasions. My personal rooibos tea perfume otherwise is Winter Palace from Memo. They do remind me of each other because of the prominent rooibos tea note, but Winter Palace is much sweeter in my opinion. (I have yet to try the Red Vetiver Tea fragrance from CC or the Rooibos Tea one from Chris Collins)

What can I say, truly a unisex, versatile all year masterpiece. It’s such a calm and easy to wear fragrance that won’t suffocate people around you in any setting. Really unique tea scent that last. Ginger feels a bit in the background and I think it’s there just to compliment the forward tea accords. I think this is a safe blind buy if you are into tea/ginger frags but be careful it’s not your typical tea perfume like for example Imagination, Wulong Cha, or Above the Waves. It’s leaning more towards aromatic side like for example Gris Charnel.

On me, this is fresh and spicy. The tea note rounds out the suede and wood in a unique way, but quite nicely and appears to stay consistent and present throughout wear. There's a slight powderyness as drydown commences and progresses. Could get away with this year round, but I agree with others when they say you might want to use this one more sparingly in high summer heat. It is unisex, but you get more of a feminine feel upon initial spray, with the drydown delivering a bit more unisex even masculine presence. Don't sleep on this one. Sexy.
