Hayaati Florence

I just went way down the reviews to see if anyone posted the notes for this. It had been a min since I had worn bc I am testing all my new fall/winter fragrances. I have only had for a lil over a month. Yesterday as I went to review, I thought I may need to wear test. When I sprayed up this morning I start sniffing. Well she has changed of course, so I searched the notes. Well that is not what I am smelling at all, dive deeper. This is what I have already done before I bought, lol. I wanted a VGG smelling fragrance and the notes listed above would not result that. Now, to the review, after 5 wks in the cold dark closet, Florence has matured a lil. I smell all the notes now. Before it was just fruity floral, sweet and tart. I really liked it, but it lacked the slight creamy warmness of VGG. As soon as I sprayed today there was an immediate difference. The opening is less tart, smoother. Still very juicy, but sweet tart. I never smelled the peach before, that is what is smoothing out the bite, softly sweet. That’s what had me searching the real notes, when the peach mingles with the praline & vanilla it provides that slight creaminess. The notes listed above have nothing that can produce this sensation. In the dry down, you are left with a sweet, tart rose with an ever so slight creaminess effect from the peach, praline, amber, & vanilla. That’s the best I can explain. She is really close to VGG. She is loud & goes all night. For the price you pay, you get a really good fragrance that performs. You will get compliments because you will smell like a sweet tart candy. 10/10

I blind bought this one..it's pretty cheap.. I thought why not ? I was worried a little bit at the comparison of lattafa mayar.. unfortunately that one is very sharp to me and has that gasoline smell I can't stand in some ME frags.. I'm happy to say this one doesn't have any unpleasant base note aromachemicals. The opening IS a little bit sharp smelling.. not my favorite part but also my bottle is new so I won't judge it on that. ...but the DRY DOWN is heavenly past 5-10 mins I'm getting this beautiful sweet grapefruity candy like light floral muskiness radiating off my skin. And it seems to last a long time. I mean make no mistake this fragrance is entirely synthetic notes but imo in a good way here as it's smooth and blended .. sometimes synthetic is fresh and clean and just uplifting without smelling like chemicals like Mayar does. Also the price is right... Would I buy this for more than $30 cad ? Maybe.. but I have a lot of fragrances that are sort of similar in my collection, but nothing really grapefruity, so I probably wouldn't spend a lot on it, as I said it's synthetic and a scent profile that's been done, so you're going to not get anything groundbreaking here. But what it does it does well and I think this is an easy reach fragrance that could be signature sent worthy as you could wear it every day.

Hayaati Florence has a classic profile once it macerates. Mine has rested for a couple of months, and now it does fall somewhere between Very Good Girl and Delina, yet is more wearable than either. Florence is a fruity gourmand that manages to work in the heat. Sweet but not too sweet. Really, it's cute. The bottle color provides a clue to its fun, accessible character. Random side note: Has anyone else noticed the bizarre trend of referring to perfumes using feminine pronouns (she, her)? As a native English speaker with a degree in English, I don't claim to know everything about English but I do know we don't assign grammatical genders to inanimate objects normally. The exceptions are to ships or boats. There are probably other specialized exceptions, such as reference to the Church as she in theology. Apart from that, it is the custom among native English speakers to refer to objects such as perfumes as IT (neuter gender). If you are learning English and come from a language with grammatical genders, please don't take offense. If English is your native language, straighten up and use the correct pronoun.

This isn’t new to my collection, but is a recent transition into a Love now that summer is here, and it’s macerated a bit. I really agree with @watermelonice that this is somewhere between Meliora and Delina; the juicy, candy-like ripe fruits of Meliora but the rosy/pink floral and lychee in Delina. I actually bought a full bottle of Delina La Rosee and sold it because I preferred this (it’s a bit more amped and sweeter than La Rosee; the watery accord in DLR just didn’t carry the sweetness well enough for me). What’s always scared me about scents that are described to smell like “candy” is that it will smell synthetic and cheap, since that’s what candy is, but this Lattafa has a green stemmy-ness that accompanies the fruit to ground it as a natural sweetness / just picked ripe kind of vibe. This subtle dimension makes it enjoyable for someone like me who doesn’t like fake fruit scents (and is impressive for this price point)! I layered this with Ex Nihilo Fleur narcotique extract today and really enjoyed the combo, but it stands on its own well and has really excellent longevity.

I blind bought this perfume June 2024. I sprayed it when I first received it and I wasn't impressed. Fast forward to early 2025, and I decluttered quite a few of my Arabian fragrances. However, for some reason I kept this one. Well, I just sprayed this again and I am so glad I kept this one. This has bloomed into a beautiful powdery bouquet of sweetness. I absolutely LOVE this! I wish I had sprayed it months ago. It's fresh, clean, powdery, floral, and grapefruity. I can't stop smelling my arm. This is a really nice surprise. It's good to get away from all the sweet gourmand fragrances sometimes. I've been buying a lot of gourmand fragrances and they have never been my style. But for some reason after I hit 44, my hormones have changed and I love gourmand fragrances. But this perfume reminds me of all the reasons why I've always worn fresh fragrances. This can even be worn in this southern heat and humidity. I can't see me wearing this in the winter. If a fresh floral is your vibe check it out.

I have 45 perfumes in my humble (and very cheapskate) collection and I've only had this one for 5 days, and during these 5 days I've been using only this. It's a big deal for me because I usually don't like wearing the same fragrance even two days in a row, given I have so many and I want to enjoy them all, but ugh, it is SO addictive! I can see why a lot of people compare it to Mayar, which I also have and love, but I can assure you they're not the same fragrance. They both have a very prominent lychee note (not sure why it's not listed here, it is on Lattafa's website) but Mayar is more fruity, young and sparkly, while Florence is, I'd say, softer, more floral and sophisticated. And keep in mind I don't usually like rosy perfumes but here the rose is very well done and the fruity notes balance it really well (rose note is also not listed here but it is on Lattafa website, and I defnitely can feel it's there). I don't know how this is not more viral than the rather disappointing Yara.

It’s sooooo beautiful !! I’ve got it today and when i first sprayed it i was so surprised. It’s a very soft, sweet & sensual fruity perfume! It just smells soft I don’t know how to explain it. Beautiful sugar powdered fruits that are lingering the whole day on my body ! It’s not crazy loud but it’s evening now and it’s still here !! I have to see how the longevity and silage is going to be but what I can tell you, my family complimented me today on my scent!! This smells like a pretty girl ! Sensual and very feminine. Tbh this could be a PERFECT signature scent, there’s just something about it that is really pretty and memorable ❤️ It’s not a bold one, it’s a soft one and I LOVE IT. It’s not too much like Delina or very good girl bc these are a bit screechy and Hayaati is not that at all!! I 100% recommend it’s for sure blind buy safe LOVEE💋

A clean girl dressed in tiny baby pink flowers and sucking on one of those pink cream swirl candy just passed you a fruit jelly. Not delina, but smells like delina DNA was sprayed a while ago before spraying very good girl. Not exact dupes, and am normally not happy to hear that when I'm looking for something particular, but I'm loving the VGG DNA that's very juicy. Tho it's not the same. Leans more powdery. I'm not a fan of powder, and I don't mind this. More like a pink moisturizing lotion that smells powdery. Some folks say they smell shampoo here but it's definitely a soft non harsh creamy smelling one. Like it better then Khair Fusion, angel Nova EDT and EDP, Mayar, nest lychee rose, Ameerat Al Arab Prive Rose.

(wrote this review last year but lost my other account) honestly just wanted it because of the cute bottle and because of the name which has a special and personal meaning to me but i ended up loving it at the store. its very fresh tangy citrusy sweet in the beginning, after that dims you can smell the other fruity notes and floral notes and the dry down is so beautiful to me. on me its musky floral and creamy, even slightly vanilla ..... ill see if anything changes with maceration it lasts longer maybe a bit sweeter to me after macerating but i dont think it was a huge difference i let it sit for like a month or so

I got this as a blind by and the price was pretty affordable so I decided to try it. I could tell you that I’m not disappointed at all. I’m finally getting into like florals cause I’m normally a gourmand girl and I’ve been getting into the floral and I really like this one because it’s sweet and it has his floral but it’s like so soft. I know his compared to another high-quality perfume, but I wouldn’t know cause I don’t know it, but I could tell you this that this is a good floral sweet smell at first is a little strong, but as it goes and dies down is just amazing.

This is such a pretty, SUPER feminine fragrance. It opens with bright grapefruit and a fresh spiciness before drying down to a sweet, clean, floral scent. I'm not typically a fan of floral fragrances as I find them too old lady-ish, but this isn't that at all. It's lighthearted, but still grown up, if that makes any sense. (My husband said it makes me smell like a milf, whatever that's supposed to mean lol) It lasts about 4 hours at moderate sillage, but 8 hours later, I can still smell it as a skin scent and get whiffs from my clothes. Definitely a new favorite!

This perfume to me is juicy, think of a freshly squeezed pineapple or grapefruit that to me is what it smells like. This perfume is more of a youthful take or approach but even older women can wear this. It's such a playful scent but not too juvenile. It's very linear in scent so I just smell fruity and sweet with some muskiness in the background the entire time. Projection is good at arm's length and lasts 8 hrs more even longer on clothes. I would advise this to be worn during the day in summer or spring.

I’m surprised by how great this little beauty is. There’s a note in Delina that I can’t get on with, so when I saw this is similar at a great price I thought I’d go for it. It’s a tangy citrus start, then it settles into sweet floral...and then lasts for hours. It’s definitely on the sweet side and the kick-off can feel bit sour at points, but for £18 it’s an absolute no-brainer. I’ve not spent a lot of time wearing this but I know it’ll be an easy reach for when I need something beautiful and long-lasting.

On it's own: Florence is a delicious, musky, tropical cocktail with soft florals. The citrus is tart, but dialed down. I love love love it. The scent really suits the bottle, it's so girly and lovely and sweet. As a dupe for VGG: They smell similar, they really do, but the lychee in that one is far more tart, like a bright slightly-sour burst of it. It's more toned down in Florence. I feel like it may be more well rounded than this one, but at that price tag, I sure hope so lol. I love both.

This is a tart, fruity floral with a powdery and creamy base. It's really good on skin...almost like a fruity powdered candy! Also the fruit feels tropical, so perfect for spring and summer. It reminds me a little bit of the pink gg and mod blush. I don't get any rose but it's tart and fruity like very gg. I do smell the vanilla and it's a little musky. Overall I really like it and think it's a great perfume for the price.

Right after spraying, the initial scent of grapefruit appears rather sour but after a few seconds the perfume fragrance settles and resembles more rose heavy version of Carolina Herrera's Very Good Girl. Kind of like VGG and PDM Delina had a baby, the DNA appears really close to me 😍 Sadly on my skin the perfume performs maximum of 2 hours, after that time, it's an intimate scent.

This smells so pretty. Candied fruit and soft florals - light and bright and sweet without being cloying. I think you can wear this in the summer because it won’t choke anyone out in the heat. It feels sweet enough not to be too formal, but pretty enough not to be extremely casual. Great for spring and summer days, dressed down or dressed up. Not for serious or formal occasions.

It's just a very fresh, happy fragrance. Not cloying at all, perfect for everyday use. Appeals to a wide range of ages (yes I tested this, asked my mid-50s mother, my mid 20s sister and her girlfriend, and our 6-year old kid at home: 100% approval rate.) Ended up getting my mom and sister a decant of their own.
