Hind Al Sultan

This is a perfume that I absolutely adored, tried so hard to get another bottle and found it out it was discontinued so held on to my bottle for dear life until two months ago when I gifted my best friend with the remaining 15ml because she enjoyed spraying it every time she came to my house and was going to a party. Sillage was enormous, Longetivity was superb and it made me smell rich and powerful. It was Oud done right and it worked on both male and female. Packaging was top notch and could rival any high end perfume and the price was so affordable, it was unbelievable. I never knew what where the exact notes but it had a lot of depth to it and some freshness too. I am not surprised to see the roses notes because I could smell that flowery note but it was well blended and nothing was out of place. Thank you Lattafa for always creating amazing perfumes. Precious Oud was a knockout scent and I will miss her.

Well. Sadly this is a proof of two things: - Not all that shines is gold - Blind byes are sometimes a bad idea. This perfume I bought as a blind buy, well aware that I was taking a chance. I went for the appearances. The bottle is just really great. Is like a Nasomatto medium size. :-) The box is a beauty. But the juice. O my god such a disappointment. It is not bad but it is not good either. Maybe my heart wants to like it and tries to find some good things. But my mind tells me this is not a good juice. (Olivia Newtown John de javou) :-) I smell the florals. With a soft vintage vibe. But I miss the power of the leather note and sandalwood. Musk, is it there? Can not find it? It is really close to the skin and it makes me feel that I just sprayed some cheap stuff on me. It is only at the dry down that something I could like appears, but it is too weak. Sad, because I was expecting to be surprised , maybe even amazed, since that is what I experience with Night Oud by this house. A beauty. But this one. 3 out of 10 But remember that my experience won't necessary be yours too.
