Khalis Musk (Pure Musk)

I’ve finally found it. My dream perfume. I’ve been searching for so long for a fragrance that is sweet, but also fresh. I ventured onto all sorts of vanillas and fruity fragrances. All sorts of gourmands that didn’t work well on me. Fantasy Britney spears, Vanille outremer, bare vanilla victoria secret, coconut passion victoria secret, black opium, Scandal JPG and so many more. Each time I convinced myself I had to stick with those ones as they are gourmands I was satisfied with but I knew it wasn’t enough. I then stumbled upon body shop white musk and was blown away by how much I liked it, and also found that musks were the type of sweet and fresh I was looking for. I then ventured further onto the musk universe (lol): White musk jovan, al rehab white musk and perfume oils online. I stumbled upon white musk tahara and was blown away even more by how clean and sweet it is, it was truly perfect. And then I found this. The best one yet. It smells like someone dressed in all white, running into a field of white jasmine, white lotus and vanilla. It’s beautiful. Perfect amount of sweet and perfect amount of clean. It’s honestly wonderful. I found that most gourmands are very sticky, dirty and very difficult to wear. Most of them smell like pungent perfume and if not that it smelled too sticky as mentioned earlier if it was more realistic. One example of a perfume I was quite repulsed by would be black opium and palmers coca butter. It wasn’t the end of the world, but I found that it did horribly to my skin chemistry. But this? Doesn’t smell perfumey at all, it smells natural, but also synthetic in the best way. This is the only type of perfume I can walk past someone and it would lift my day up. Fresh clean, crispy, sweet. It’s just perfect in my opinion. I feel so put together when I wear this, and it truly boots my confidence. Here are the actual notes from the website I brought it on: Top Notes: Musk and amber Middle Notes: Musk, rose and sugar Base Notes: Musk, woody notes and vanilla The notes are perfect in my opinion, musk in all the notes, the top being amber, the middle having rose and sugar, giving a perfect balance of sweet and clean. The rose I will say you won’t smell it at all, it just blends together with the musk, the vanilla and the woody notes so perfectly well. The funniest part is how affordable it is, the longevity is so spectacular as well. This, coach Women’s EDT and J’adore are my favourites ever. Love it. I will say if you don’t like the smell of fresh laundry, if you don’t like the smell of sweet musk and cleanliness and want of a more “unique” distinct scent this isn’t for you. For me this is perfect, I feel anyone can like this though and to me it isn’t boring at all.

I have recently obtained a 100ml bottle of Lattafa Khalis Musk at a deep discount. I am an admirer of Arabian Musks & Egyptian Musks ....and also an admirer of the Lattafa brand of fragrances. Nothing less than great experiences with the Lattafa brand. The bottle design is beautiful & artistic , another signature of the brand. The quality of the atomizer was A+ , and sprayed evenly & generously. Pure Musk by Lattafa: A sparkling & smooth white Arabian Musk fragrance with several subtle nuances for the trained nose to discover...or the untrained nose to save into their olfactory memory. Its important to remember ....when buying fragrances and having them go through shipping...they MUST have time to settle in order to be their truest self. What an excellent fragrance... It indeed is a pure Arabian musk...with a sparkling & anamalic opening...morphing into a delicate yet very tenacious powdery Egyptian cotton or linen. Very very slightly lactonic...in a mild way. Something perhaps like an oily Castoreum note slightly resembling the faint aroma of coconut. There are suggestions of white florals that appear towards the dry down in a very subtle manner. A very pleasing and relaxing, yet still exotic Unisex Arabian Musk. Delicate, comforting, sensual & lofty Musk in all its glory! Another exceptionally beautiful fragrance by Lattafa. **** A note to the buyer **** If you are expecting this fragrance to be a very complex array of many notes & many different accords...you must remind yourself that this is Pure Musk. Allow yourself to bask in the elegant simplicity of a pure musk fragrance. Go on.......Treat Yourself. Your Worth It. The Verdict : EXCELLENCE

I am here to offer a somewhat different perspective from the other commenters, and to echo what commenters like nerdboy83 and cunt dracula said: this is a very lovely scent, yes, perfect for that clean smell that many people like to go for. On the skin, it doesn’t put people off, though at times allowing people to sniff my bottle has garnered comments like “this smells like a grandma!”. It was also a very good gift for my sister, someone notorious in my family for not liking any perfumes at all. But what I want to give attention to is that this fragrance also shines when layered underneath another scent. I’ve read before that some people use musk underneath their oud, and while I can imagine they mean a more concentrated oil, I’ve been using this. Personally, I put it underneath almost ALL my other scents; I spray it before rolling on my oud attars, spraying my other vaporisateurs, and even under Khamrah Qahwa. Something about it just works — it adds a deceptively long lasting freshness to serve as a canvas for other fragrances. Maybe I’m mildly insane and this is superfluous, but something about khalis musk just makes me feel cleaner when I already strive to spray on clean skin. Also, the bottle is incredibly fun. That’s the only word there is for it— it tickles and enriches any mind that has been addled with Arab perfume, like mine.

Pure Fresh Clean Powdery Musk fragrance, It's smell similar of "AlTaharah Musk of Abdulsamad Al Qurashi", I adore to wear it in Ramadan month and on Friday but this perfume not special of these times, This fragrance you can wear it any time during the day or at night, in winter or summer. It lasts 12 hours or more the leather and one day on the clothes. This fragrance not synthetic in a noticable way for me specially after Slaking this perfume. In General I advice any one buy Lattafa perfumes to macerate it from 2 - 3 mothes, it seems that Musk mixed with powder in a Clean interested way. I adore this feeling of cleaning and purness that I get it from this perfume. عطر نقي منعش نظيف بودري مسكي، رائحته تشبه رائحة "مسك الطهارة من عبد الصمد القرشي"، أحب أن أضعه في شهر رمضان ويوم الجمعة ولكن هذا لا يعني أن هذا العطر خاصاً بهذه الأوقات فقط، بل يمكنك ارتداؤه في أي وقت خلال اللليل أو النهار، في الشتاء أو الصيف، أو بعد الاستحمام، إنه يدوم 12 ساعة أو أكثر على الجلد ويوم واحد على الملابس. هذا العطر ليس صناعياً بشكل ملحوظ بالنسبة لي خاصة بعد تجربتي لتعتيق هذا العطر. بشكل عام أنصح أي أحد يقوم بشراء عطر من عطور شركة لطافة، أن يقوم بتعتيقها من 2 - 3 أشهر، سيبدو أن المسك قد أصبح ممزوج بالبودرة بطريقة نظيفة وممتعة أكثر من ذي قبل، أعشق هذا الشعور بالنظافة والنقاء الذي أحصل عليه من هذا العطر.

I was searching for a fragrance that mirrored the scent of Johnson’s baby powder and their cologne. And guess what? This is spot on. Upon the first spray, it immediately evokes a clean, comforting, and nostalgic feeling. But don’t be deceived—this scent can easily become overpowering. Keep reading. I picked up the 50ml bottle for just five bucks. Definitely a great value. Wow. Now to its bad aspect. I made the mistake of overspraying it on my shirt. Big mistake. This fragrance is potent and can become overwhelming—almost dizzying, even cloying. With the same number of sprays, it’s actually stronger than Oud for Glory. It clings to the skin and projects directly to your nose, creating a headache-inducing experience. I quickly grew tired of it. I learned my lesson the hard way. Moving forward, I’ll apply it to lower parts of my clothing, keeping it far from my nose. Don’t underestimate the strength of this fragrance. I ignored the warning of a reviewer below, and now I’m paying the price. Be cautious with the sprayer—two sprays will likely suffice. I may also use it as a room freshener or bed spray, but it will be used sparingly, as it lasts for hours. A failed blind buy for me. Sad.
