Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Delight

The bottle is absolutely forgettable, and the box it comes in is far worse! The scent, however, is amazing! I'm usually not big on "image" or creative marketing, but this one, I feel, should have had something a little more creative about the packaging so as to keep you coming back to the scent. Because that's where this one shines - not that it stands out, but that it smells great and won't let you down. I also question whether the notes are correct, because what I get from this is a strong lavender and floral scent. I organize my fragrance collection by "scent" and this sits next to Dolce & Gabbana Intenso and Bvlgari Man Wood Essence. The "Smells like" section is all over the board on this one, but I guess if it were closest to anything in that section, it would be Percival. I do not think this smells like Legend or Fierce at ALL. Still, the scent is very clean, very all occasions, very cheerful, not too strong, and probably impossible to overspray unless you REALLY tried. The scent reminds me of a better spin on a woody-floral laundry detergent... but not like hot laundry from the dryer, instead more like still wet laundry detergent. In a good way! Update: This scent has grown on me more and more since receiving it. Absolutely one of my favorite blind buys over the last year.

I really don't need another fragrance that smells like A&F Fierce, but this one is pretty good. It smells like the powdery musky airy quality that Fierce has is toned down, and the woodsy green notes and fruit are more prominent. It smells less chemical like than Fierce. So this is a decent performer if you way over spray. I'm serious I'm talking if you used it everyday you would be going through a bottle every 60 days. The way Curlyfragrance jokingly applies fragrance is basically how I use this one. I'm not exaggerating I probably sprayed it 50 times this morning, but the last 20 were probably useless because it probably didn't get any stronger or last any longer. Yes I was easy to smell, but it was still far less than 10 or less sprays of a strong fragrance. So bottom line this smells really good, but not super unique or ground breaking. It kind of reminds of a mix of A&F Fierce with a bit of something like Cool Water. It's kind of weak, and I'm not sure if it will get stronger over time. If you way over spray it will last 12 hours or more, and project mildly.

Finally this has been added to Fragrantica. It's a fresh fruity aromatic scent to my nose. Starts with a tart green apple and lavender. Then a medley of light spices and white florals take over with some musk and a hint of vanilla in the base. Great for the summer. It's not a sweet scent like the Royal blends flanker and leans more masculine. Performs great for a freshie (6 to 7 hrs minimum). The better Khaltaat Al Arabia, imo.

Right after I spray, I feel the A&F Fierce drydown, which is amazing. Too bad this fragrance lasts like 5 or 6h, and has a 1h, 1h30min projection. It is a safe and great office fragrance

I Found Myself Within A Forest Of Dark If you’re intent on blindly buying this Arabian perfume, don’t expect something Middle Eastern-style, because Royal Delight contains no opulent roses, medicinal oud, or leathery saffron in its recipe. Far from it. Instead, it is a sort of predominantly fresh, very aromatic perfume, with green, herbaceous, semi-fougère tones, with a masculine slant on my skin. If I had to find a place for it, I would put it next to perfumes like Fierce COLOGNE, Coach for Men, Legend EAU DE PARFUM, and Percival. They all have the same common thread, fresh, aromatic, and green. Yes, the blend of lavender, geranium, and coumarin, is the template of fougère family, still there is more to it. Royal Delight opens immediately with fresh, aromatic, and green accords. If the bergamot gives a sour and citrus touch to the opening, in reality, it is the lavender, very aromatic and herbaceous, that dominates the scene. On my skin, the citrus appears tart, while the lavender releases sweetish tones, with mentholated and balsamic influences, never pungent, but rather greenish and fresh. The first impression is that of a perfume that smells clean, airy, and fresh but not aquatic, with the fresh-out-of-the-shower effect. As the citrus tones subside, the rosy and dewy notes of geranium emerge, herbaceous, with a minty profile. The green cardamom rules the middle stage, with a smidgen of spiciness without leaning towards an Indian market. The spices are cold, with no trace of warm nutmeg, clove, or cinnamon. Not mentioned, I catch the green and dewy facets of the violet leaves, which add a smidge of cold powderiness with no petrol inflexion. This cold balminess, courtesy of green leaves and purple lavender, lasts hours before Royal Delight turns into dry-down mode. If I smell it from close range, I get that effect of the balsamic essences that clear the nose and help to breathe better. When the perfume becomes perceptible only close to the skin, I smell a smooth patchouli, with a little touch of earthiness, but which does not stand out from the crowd and does not bother those who cannot stand its earthy and dense aspects. It is a modern and clean patchouli that blends with a creamy, not overly cloying vanilla lingering all over. It is a spicy vanilla, with no gourmand aspects, just a bite of sweetness. A good bit of sweetness. For a sweeter and deeper vanilla taste, you’d better check Royal Blends Gold. On the finish, there is also a dry woody accord, that of cedar wood, which manifests itself with resinous tones without veering towards the typical aroma of sharpened pencil shavings. To wrap up, it is a sort of clean and refreshing fragrance, with an herbaceous lavender touch. It does not go through a few stages, and the character is pretty linear without too many changes. But the footprint is clear, no question about it. Good performance, more than half a day, and great projection at the beginning. I will use it daily, office safe, sporty, during spring and fall days, and summer nights. Once more, it has that masculine slant on my skin, but I am not saying it is for men only. These are my feelings based on a bottle I’ve owned since April 2024.

This is a layered fragrance unto itself, combining a feminine fruit and floral fragrance in the opening with a masculine woody and musky drydown. It's a nice blend of sweet, fruity, floral lavender, spicy, woody, amber honey, musk and powdery aromas. As with its sister Royal Blends, the strong fruity blast of an opening moves very quickly into the mid and drydown. Whereas Royal Blends is very woody in the drydown, Royal Delight is equally floral and woody in the drydown. Once the fruit blast is gone, the fragrance becomes floral, powdery and woody. Think Polo Red crossed with L'Interdit and Encre Noire. This is unisex, has good performance, and is great for social occasions, especially date nights. Where Royal Blends might lean too masculine in the drydown, the florals make Royal Delight more equally unisex. This is designer quality at a very discount price, at less than $US 20 on discounter websites. Very high QPR value here. Bottle presentation is beautiful, to boot. Recommended.

Like others have said, the notes here on Fragrantica are way off. Even the accords aren't at all representative of this scent, either. What this comes across to me as, is a cross between A&F Fierce and Coach for Men. You get a lot of the fruitiness from Coach, with the lavender and woodiness of Fierce. It's very pleasant and works really well. I would say that this is actually what I would've preferred from Coach for Men, because the sweetness of that one just comes off as a little too cloying, whereas this one has some underlying depth to offset it. Some have said that this is unisex. I think that's a defensible take, but I also doubt that many females would want to wear this. While it is sweet, it's not necessarily the kind of sweet you'd find in a women's scent, but obviously people can wear whatever the hell they want.

I accidently bought this thinking it was royal blends..when it arrived it had none of the notes I had heard in the reviews. Well, of course not, its a totally different fragrance lol For sure this is more of a mens scent. Fresh ,fresh spicy type. Smells like the color aqua blue to me. Little salty..and the dry down to me is a bit powdery. Mostly I use it to spray in my room because I feel its too male for me. Its a nice scent. Maybe a lil generic though.

Agree with blamehud and with the people saying there's a missing Lavender note in this one, it's very prominent on the top. Overall good for barber shop style, pleasant simple fragrance for men, if you can buy it for cheap. U$12-15 bucks tops. Longevity is very short, silage too... Quite disappointing but ok for the price. This is the correct notes breakdown: Top: Bergamot, Lavender. Mid: Cardamom, Geranium. Base: Patchouli, Cedarwood, Vanilla.

Gotta overspray this one to make it perform. Longevity is not the best, but the price is. Skin scent within an hour. Sweet, but in a balanced way. Wear this for a welcoming and inoffensive and youthful impression. For me, I'd prefer something with more of an edge to it.

Seeing different notes on this site compared to the Lattafa site and brochure they send with their frags. They list it as.... Top: Bergamot, Lavender. Mid: Cardamom, Geranium. Base: Patchouli, Cedarwood, Vanilla.

The pyramid here doesn't match the smell imo. Definitely a YSL Y vibe for me, not a copy, but similar. Solid 8/10, but for 12$ it’s actually 11/10

To me it just smells like a barbershop fragrance, like a 90s aftershave or shaving cream smell.

I get why people make the comparison. The first spray definitely gives off that 'Fierce DNA' vibe, mostly because I was looking for it after reading the reviews here on Fragrantica. However, let’s be real: it doesn't come close to the original Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce. I also own Montblanc Legend EDP, and in my opinion, both Fierce and Legend are way smoother and more sophisticated than this Lattafa. Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Delight lacks that refined edge. It feels a bit more synthetic and lacks the depth of the fragrances it’s compared to. Is it a bad fragrance? No, not at all! It’s just... okay. I bought it based on the hype and the price tag, I only paid 10 euros for it. For that price, you honestly can't complain. It’s a sweet and fruity scent, but it stays rather linear throughout the wear. Projection is mediocre at best, and the longevity is lacking compared to other powerhouse Lattafa fragrances in my collection. While it's fine for wearing around the house or a quick errand, I don't think I’ll be reaching for this when going out in public. Final verdict: It’s an okay fruity scent for the price of a couple of coffees. But if you’re looking for a truly great, cheap fruity alternative that performs, I’d suggest checking out Lattafa’s Hayaati instead.

It's painfully mid, mid projection, mid sillage, mid smell. It is the definition of 6/10 there is very little sweetness or spice but the wood and musk is rather prevalent. Worth it for 15 bucks.

seriously what I've got are lavender, spice and ambroxan. It should be listed as blue something fragrance. Nothing special to be honest, but nice addition to Lattafa line

Just smelled this for the first time, my initial response: eh. It smells pretty generic, its a fresh spicy fragrance that comes off pretty harsh in the opening, almost like a bitter salty smell. As it dries down I like it more, some of the woody notes come out. To me it sort of smells like Jill Sander Sun for men, but a little more mass appealing than that fragrance. I will come back to this comment if i end up liking it more. But if you have 50+ fragrances, you will probably have something that smells pretty close to this.

If this is what Percival or Fierce smell like, I’m glad I never bought those. I can’t stand this scent profile. It is so incredibly sharp to my nose. I don’t see how this is considered a “fresh” fragrance when it’s this sharp. Used it as a bathroom spray

Verry synthetic and cheap smelling. Better buy coach for men. Thats the same scent but better quality

Picked this up for 18 bucks. Listed notes don’t really feel accurate. I get lavender, woods, a bit of fruitiness, and a bit of amber. I really like the smell. It’s pleasant, mass appealing, and masculine. It’s does feel nostalgic without smelling old. It takes me back to a Macy’s in the early 2000’s, maybe that’s just because I know what it’s duping. Not overly expensive or realistic smelling, but overall I’m very happy with this.

The dry down reminds me of D&G pour homme 2012 DNA. First spray, harsh but wait 5 mins and D&G 2012 comes out without the lavender. Notes do not match each other but the composition projects pour homme.

Super nice and basic fresh type soft-sweet for Men. Linear and masculine but nice. Great dumb reach. This is a good fresher option from Lattafa and presents great value.
