Khamrah Qahwa

Khamrah but someone took away its syrup bottle for like, 5 seconds. Personal: 8.5/10 – I like this just as much as the original, which is annoying because now there are two of them (and well, actually 4) Mass appeal: 8/10 – Still very likable, warm, sweet, and cozy, but the coffee makes it slightly less universally easy than regular Khamrah, in my book. Performance: 8.5/10 – Strong, long lasting, and dense with the same words of caution as Khamrah about overspraying. Nothing changed. Value: 10/10 – Still absurdly good for the money. Lattafa remains a menace to Estee Lauder, L'Oreal, Puig, and all the others. Uniqueness: 5.5/10 – Similar to Khamrah, even further from Angel’s Share, but still living in the same sweet winter amber neighborhood. SCORE: 81/100 Full bottle buy? YES, if you like Khamrah but wish it backed off the sugar by about 8%. Blind buy? YES, but only if you like sweet gourmands and don’t hate coffee notes. If not, like Khamrah, you can smell this one at any mall Kiosk too. Recommend? YES, especially if original Khamrah sliiiiiightly too sweet. Or if you like coffee notes. Date night? YES, warm, cozy, sweet, and inviting. Office safe? NO, still too dense and sweet for professional captivity, though two sprays will still probably be fine come winter time. Pros: Slightly less sweet than Khamrah, still smooth, strong, affordable, and very wearable in cold weather. Cons: Coffee accord will not work for everyone, still very sweet, and not dramatically different from the original. Khamrah Qahwa is basically Khamrah after one responsible adult entered the room and said, “Maybe we don’t need this much syrup.” Not a lot less. It's still sweet, syrupy and loud, but like, not AS bad. This didn't turn Khamrah bitter, dark, or mature, like the coffee note in Tom Ford's Cafe Rose, it added a Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee with 14 pumps of sugar. It's still really, really sweet. But it pulls back enough that I notice and appreciate the adjustment, since Khamrah is at my personal ceiling for sweetness tolerance. The coffee note is a tradeoff, really. I'm picky with coffee in fragrances because it can easily turn cheap smelling, burnt or dusty or even stale and weird, pretty quickly. Here it mostly works, but I don't know for sure that I enjoy the coffee note more than I enjoy the absence of the small amount of sweetness it's replacing. Therein lies the tradeoff. Less sweetness, but coffee instead. It definitely brings in a darker, more roasted feeling edge, meaning that Qahwa has a bit more personality than the original, but it means that for me, it's inherently more difficult to love. If anyone compares THIS to Angel's Share, they're legitimately crazy, and they must have never smelled Angel's Share. Regular Khamrah was distinctly not a 1:1 clone, rather took the Angel's Share DNA and ran with it to make its own thing, and Qahwa strays even further away. This is less boozy-spiced apple pastry and more sweet amber vanilla with a coffee flavored shadow behind it. But, because of its coffee note, I feel that this strays even further from what Angel's Share is. Not in a bad way, necessarily. I'd put it right next to Khamrah in terms of my enjoyment, honestly. Not above or below. Same score, slightly different mood. If Khamrah is syrupy winter dessert, Qahwa is syrupy winter dessert with coffee nearby. It sounds like an insult but it isn't. I wear and own both. I like both. I'm aware I'm part of the problem with that, but what's new. I Gravitate towards Qahwa as being ever so slightly more mature and formal than Khamrah (despite both fragrances being neither mature nor formal) though they are, for all intents and purposes, almost interchangeable. Greetings from the hot and tropical country of The Philippines! (and my first review on fragrantica) I blind bought this since I was already familiar with the original Khamrah DNA - a sweet, boozy, and mostly a cinnamon-based fragrance. I own fragrances like Angels' Share and Oajan, and Khamrah is right up that alley of delicious cinnamon heaven. Despite the heavy difference in price and other stereotypes on Arab Dupe Houses, I appreciate Khamrah as a fragrance on its own, and not as a 'dupe' or interpretation of Angels Share. That's why I loved it. But I was starting to think that my obsession with cinnamon-based fragrances would be redundant if I bought Khamrah, having 2 already great fragrances with similar DNAs would sound crazy right?! So I was hesitant on buying the OG and waited and waited. Until Lattafa announcing a flanker last December. Aromatix on YouTube basically stated it in a fragrance convention that it is basically Khamrah, with a coffee note. That's it. I blind bought it, and here are my thoughts after a week of wearing it. My thoughts: -Lovely, absolutely lovely. You still get the original Khamrah DNA, but with a simple addition of a "Qahwa" or Coffee note. It smells like a candied and sweet Nescafe coffee blend. Which is absolutely delicious! Performance: (On my skin) -10 to 12 hours, projection is very strong for about 4 hours. -I had the mindset of Arab Perfumes being "BEASTMODE", but ever since I got many dupes/arab fragrances brands from Fragrance World or Paris Corner, my mind was set to disbelief as most of those fragrances didn't last long AT ALL -But this is a genuinely long-lasting fragrance, and it is no joke. Verdict: I wanna eat myself every time I wear this, in school I got 8 compliments the first time I wore this. I wore this on my research thesis defense, and I even got a compliment from the panelist. And of course, if the girlfriend loves it, I gotta love it aswell :D note: this is my first fragrantica review, i know there are more things i can improve on :D thank you! and oh man do i smell good XD

My first fragrance for winter, and my second Arabic fragrance. Let’s start with the scent itself: it opens with a strong boozy accord. Half liquor, half burnt caramel. The first hour feels somewhat unusual (not bad at all), slightly powdery to my nose. It quickly turns into something much more enjoyable. It feels rounded and harmonious — a boozy, caramelized coffee with a strong vanilla presence. This is my favorite stage, and it can last up to 5 hours. As time passes, it doesn’t become worse at all; it remains exquisite. The vanilla gradually takes over more and more until it eventually becomes the dominant note. On skin, it regularly lasts close to 24 hours. It’s beastly. Projection is massive as well: after being out for 7 hours and coming back home, my brother commented that he could still smell it strongly. Even after 10 hours, with only 3 sprays. Occasions: I use it as an everyday fragrance. It’s not like I have many other occasions to wear it anyway, unfortunately... I wear it to university, the library, or simply when going out to run errands or walk around the city. I don’t think it feels inappropriate — not because of the scent profile itself. But with this fragrance, you’re always walking the line of potentially overwhelming people because of its strength. I would try to avoid wearing it on sunny days, or only use it during the first hours of the day. -15°C is where it truly shines without question. Though naturally, indoor environments will be warmer, which is why I say this fragrance is always pushing the limit. No more than 3 sprays unless all you’re going to do is walk outdoors. Even then, I probably wouldn’t go above 5. For enclosed spaces, the best approach is probably 2 sprays on the sternum, always underneath clothing. It reminds me a bit of going to bazaars with my mother when I was little — in a good way. It feels distinctly oriental.

I just got this from The Oud Store. They're a little more pricey than what I'd expect but with a discount code it was worth it for me. So I got in a full day's wearing of Khamrah Qahwa (Coffee) in the nice cool Midwest autumn air. This is a brilliant mix of the Gissah Sava/Angel's Share type fragrance but with a nice pronounced coffee note at the base. So, I would usually layer OG Khamrah with a coffee fragrance and coffee based deodorant from KAFX before this came out. I layered using(at different times not at once)Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo, Uomo Signature, Galleria Cognac Cafe, and Kerosene Followed. *Don't mix Kerosene Followed with anything just an FYI. The stuff never I mean NEVER washes off.* Khamrah Qahwa! This is a very welcome flanker for me in the Khamrah line. It smells just like Khamrah off the initial rip and always in the background has a good bitter coffee note. The dry down is the same as OG Khamrah but again, with the very present coffee note hovering in the background adding more complexity and sexiness to an already great fragrance. I'm glad Lattafa saw the obvious progression for the Khamrah line here and they executed perfectly. I get 12 solid hours off my skin. I can still smell it on my jacket 16 hours later from 10 ft away. So it's a beast. If you enjoy this type of fragrance DNA you will want to get a bottle.

If you buy this PLEASE don't over spray it. Around 6 sprays is just enough, and this is coming from a person who loves to over spray. The scent profile is just crazy good. Cozy and creamy vanilla with a coffee edge almost like latte with a good amount of chocolate. Also really a nice syrupy type of scent that just makes it so addictive The longevity is straight up just ridiculous. You can easily get 12+ hours with projection that lasts 3+ hours. Scent profile: 10/10 (smells EXTREMELY high quality) Projection: 10/10 Longevity: 10/10 Price: 100/10 (I found mine for under 30 ) Uniqueness: 8/10 (if it wasn't for the coffee note it would've been lower) Compliment getter? Easily Overall rating: 10/10 Final thoughts: If you are looking for a cheap beast mode winter fragrance that actually smells good and is also unisex, Khamrah Qahwa is without a doubt a perfect choice. Another thing is that the bottle design and presentation is straight up HEAVENLY. BUT BEWARE DO NOT BLIND BUY THIS. Since its so sweet and unique I suggest buying a sample so you don't get your money wasted.

What a huge WOW! I recently decided to explore several Lattafa Perfumes after blind-buying "Teriaq Intense" and really liking it. I wasn't quite sure where to begin. So, I decided to purchase several of Lattafa's most hyped-up fragrances. Several of the Lattafa fragrances have not been a huge love for me. Kamrah Dukhan was a huge disappointment due to the intensity of the smoky-tobacco notes. And I ordinarily love tobacco, incense, amber and anything smoky in fragrances. Kamrah Qahwa is a huge and immediate love! I mean, I'm picky about fragrances and I'm surprised at how much I love this perfume. The opening is gorgeous with evident spicy (not overly so) notes of CARDAMOM ( a huge love for me), cinnamon, a bit of ginger...perfection really. Soon a very sweet, sugary-caramel-vanilla accord emerges that seamlessly blends with the opening notes. And the coffee note is to die for. And then gentle florals emerge. And the vanilla-tonka-musk drydown. The balance of the perfume notes is impeccable, it really is! Somehow this all works! Wow, wow, wow!

This was second Lataffa I ever purchased Asad being the first. It's every bit as good as they say. Might be too sweet for some people, but most people love it. It's a little too much to wear as an office fragrance but anywhere else I pour it on. My bottle ran out a few months ago and I decided to try the Dukhan version this time. Dukhan is excellent, a little more masculine and spicy but it's not quite as good as Qahwa. Projection excellent. Lasts 24 hours on clothes. Someone once insulted me while I was wearing it and they said it smells like a Grandma's cologne. I didn't appreciate that. I hate it when I spend extra time making sure my body is perfectly clean and take time to decide which fragrance to use and someone with bad breath and pot smoke odor and wearing a smelly t-shirt tells me they don't like my cologne. Anyway, 10/10 for the entire Khamrah line. TY Lataffa.

Im going to tell you something crazy. So one day i was trying to transfer this perfume to a decant bottle above my mousepad, and in the process of doing that i accidentally spilled a few drops to the mousepad (not spraying it). Im not going to lie, i can smell this perfume for about 2 MONTHS.... It's very crazy for an affordable perfume! I frikin love this perfume, it's so tasty, delicious, yummy, and i really want to take a bite of this smell. It's like a cake or a pie litterally. I don't know how people don't like this smell. PLUS this perfume last eternal and projecting crazy too, nice strong bubble scent. But for the downside, this perfume is not that smooth/little harsh and for someone who has sensitive skin, this perfume sadly causing me an eczema :( so in the end i have to give it away to my father.

My two cents on Qahwa is well first off it’s a lovely smell, second off the performance is genuinely insane. I was mediocrely happy with the performance right out of the box, however I bought it at the end of last winter so it ended up macerating for a solid 2-3 months. After this the performance is almost too much. I wake up smelling myself still, not even putting my nose to my skin. For example, at 2pm today, I am smelling myself from 7:30pm last night. The sillage is also very strong and within a few hours of spraying I have people walk into a room telling me they could smell me from the stairs outside. We all know what it smells like, sure the coffee could be stronger, sure it can be a little sweet and boozy off the rip, but damn the price to performance here is out of this world.

Khamrah Qahwa will always be in my top 5! It was one of my first Middle Eastern perfume blind buys along with Eclaire. Upon first test it was only a like for me...I thought it needed something. So I sprayed Eclaire on top and I fell in love. So much so, that I no longer need to layer it. So of course, I purchased it's older sister, Khamrah. In comparing the two, I never picked up on the coffee note in Qahwa. Until one "comparison effort" day I got a MAJOR whiff of strong coffee. Total delight. I compare the two scents often, and since then my nose continues to deprive me of the coffee note as much. Anyone? It is still a darker, deeper version of Khamrah and I am forever smitten. It's strong too...

This is THE best Khamrah in the entire line. The projection on this one is nuts. It lasts ALL DAY, skin and clothes. This fragrance is the perfect blend of sweet and boozy, and to me smells like your favorite whiskey. This fragrance reminds me of Thanksgiving/Christmas, and the entirety of fall. This one is perfect for fall weather, and even better in freezing weather. I will say, you only need like 2-3 sprays of this, because it is incredibly strong and will last you 8+ hours. That's not a bad thing, but you do not want to be that person who induces headaches. Limit your sprays on this one, people will notice, I promise.

Он коньяк, он шоколадные алкогольные конфеты, он корица в бокале дорогого коньяка. Это запах заката в Турции , в Эмиратах , он восточный! Держится на коже 2 дня, на одежде вечность! Это одни из самых качественных парфюмов у Lattafa. Если хотите пахнуть дорого, красиво ...берите этот парфюм! Он подходит как и мужчинам так и женщинам, главное совместить с гардеробом, потому что для таких духов, нужно выглядеть подобающе. Латтафа браво!!!!!

I can say this is a blind-bought success! (Bought this for only $27) I thought I could not like this dna, very delicious sweet coffee scent. If you don't like sweet gourmand scents, ignore this one. The opening is very good, it has the og dna but then when it dries down, the creamy sweet coffee/vanilla with floral background is so smooth and sexy. Perfect for cold/night situations. For it's price, you can't go wrong. Worth it at least for me. This will be my Christmas/Holiday scent! Very well done Lattafa. Bottle: 5/5 Presentation: 5/5 Scent: 5/5 Price: 10/10

I got this about two weeks ago, and I haven't used it much yet since I'm still letting it macerate. That said, from the very first time I opened the box and sprayed it on my skin and clothes, I was impressed. The scent is just amazing! It lasts a very long time too, that's for sure. It's one of those fragrances that smells so good it makes you wish you could eat or drink it. That's how addictive it is. One thing to note: it's definitely not meant for hot weather, so wear it with caution.

I think this fragrance is the best smelling one in my (Small) collection. When I first got it I thought it was pretty good, but as it aged it got better and better. Sometimes I'll just spray it for myself to just smell it. It smells slightly boozy (rum) on the opening and slowly becomes warmer as it dries down before settling into a slight syrup sweet roast coffee smell. Not like the drink, but more like if you added a bit of vodka in your morning espresso (weird i know). I love it.

I understand some people don’t get the coffee because it isn’t western roasted coffee, it’s arabic coffee which is completely different. Arabic coffee uses ground up cardamom and a little ginger in the coffee blend. Don’t expect it to smell like something in a starbucks cup, it’s just a different type of coffee. This is such a good homage to an arabic coffee break from an arabic brand. Sweets, dates( even though not listed )and arabic coffee. So much nostalgia, I love it!

An actual masterpiece but I think I cannot reach out to it anymore like I did last year because people wear it very often and spray heavily in summer which makes it really cloying. On the other hand this has become a really common perfume or scent profile. The fragrance has a bit synthetic tone to it but obviously a great value for the price. It this was used accordingly I feel like it would have attained that masterpiece position for a much longer time.

I just fell in love with it. So unique. Rich, warm and delicious, just like a hot cup of spicy turkish coffee. At first you really smell the richness of the coffee: very deep coffee scent with caramel and cardamon but not sweet at all. Later the flowery notes come and after a while it smells like musky white flower scent, but it's very delicate and subdued so I would say it's almost a unisex smell. A great scent for a rainy afternoon.

Just picked up a new bottle, and I'm convinced that the bottle I traded for a year ago on Fragrantica was a fake. This new bottle smells like a less-sweet version of the original Khamrah. And THAT I love!! There is no coffee in this though...thats a straight out lie. Nevertheless...this is going to be a mainstay. Glad I decided to get an official bottle from the manufacturer...and that I stopped trading with crooks on this platform.

I call this a twist of jazz club. It has got that boozy praline chocolate opening which smells funny but once the dry down starts it becomes a beautiful vanilla and coffee which for me is very calming reminds me of oud caffe from a Turkish house called loris. This is a less boozy version of jazz club and sweeter version of angel's share. It is a unique fragrance and not blind buy safe. This is not for everyone i can tell you that.

Blind buy, thanks to the previous reviewers. I love it! Definitely powdered praline, vanilla, cinnamon, candied fruit, tonka bean too, only a slight coffee, sweetened by the rest. Creamy vanilla, cinnamon rolls with powder,almost baby powder, slight tick of musk, yes. Long lasting! One spray in afternoon, afternoon bike ride, then nap then cooking but still smell on my wrist and arm. Love this especially for such a low price

I don't need to say much, i tested it at a mall and I couldn't get enough of the jacket i sprayed it on. I loved it when i first got it, but iv noticed its performance wasn't nearly as great as the one at the store, id blame either batch or maceration. I also think iv grown numb to it, I cant personally smell it after 30m of spraying, and no one can smell it by the time im out of the house, again batch or maceration.

Ive only worn this fragrance one time since i bought it like 7 months ago, but that one time i wore it a really gorgeous latina told me i smelled really good and asked what i was wearing. it smells like a really delicious coffee to me, i like to spray it around the house but for some odd reason have only worn it once despite having real good luc kwith it . maybe i need to use it more

this got me into fragrance. i had some bad experiences before this and had little to no interest, but after smelling this i was invested. within the first few days of getting it, i used a few ml spraying it in my room because i wanted to keep smelling it. i wouldn't say it is the best, but for the price and for someone new to fragrance i think it is such a great choice 10/10 :D

It's very rich, warm, gourmand vanilla and cinammon heavy fragrance. Got me alot of compliments in winter time. Longevity and projection are really good. It is definitely a lot different than original Khamrah and for me this one is way better. If you want sweet gourmand fragrance in an affordable price point. Definitely recommended.

Absolute banger fragrance, $25 for this is great absolutely worth the price. Beautifully blended masterpiece of warm and boozy with some spices from the coffee. Overall this is a 9/10 for me great alternative to angel share would recommend. Stunning for winter comforting vanilla works great for going out on a date and even school

I got this today and it smells awesome, it opens fabulous with this vanilla, coffee, cinnamon, apple pie, sweet scent when it dries down it still have a strong vanilla coffee scent which is awesome, I've heard the longevity and the projection is great too, this will be my signature scent next fall and maybe winter

This is an absolute STUNNER!!! The notes of cardamom and ginger in the top and coffee in the bottom just leveled up the OG masterpiece and I love this one even more!!! There is an obvious similarity, however this Qawha has a creamier depth and that is not in Khamrah!!! I cannot wait until this matures!!!

Made for cooler weather, with a warm and comforting character that gives off Christmas vibes. The coffee note fades quite quickly, but the fragrance retains a rich and cosy scent throughout. Perfect for an autumn or winter date night, with an addictive quality that makes it difficult to stop smelling.

A lovely fragrance with the same Khamra DNA, but this one slightly more masculine than khmara which is very sweat apple pie, this one ok to be wear in evening but in higher uv places this one sucks, because of heavy notes it created head ache, for winter and night or parties this is the king

this one is great value for money, and a great frag all around 7-8 hour longevity sillage is very good, without being too overwhelming super sexy spicy vanilla and praline scent with some coffee its synthetic at first, but don't worry, just give it a month or so to macerate 9/10

Really nice version of this DNA, I like the hint of coffee and musk added to the original, absolutely no point owning both though as they do smell so similar, this is a touch more masculine though which makes it better in my opinion.

This is a solid love for me. I can't stop sniffing my wrist, it is that addictive. I am one who does not label perfumes as seasonal so it is summer now and I will rock this. It is cold inside the house and freezing at work anyway!

I'd love this scent on a man since it leans masculine. My impression went from a 0 to a 9/10 really quick. Just wait for it to completely dry before you judge, and don't spray yourself more than twice. It's really strong.

It's very sweet, definitely not something i'm used to. It's not something I would wear often, if I wear it it's probably a night out or walking in the city when it's cold. And for the price, you can't really complain.

The opening smells like this gorgeous arroz con leche with cinnamon. The quality also feels like it could easily be part of the kilian brand but as its standalone perfume! It is so elegant and woody I love it

Great scent for those cold days, warm cinnamon, coffee and vanilla. Careful with the sprays as its pretty loud, good little date night scent for a low price. Genuinely a great pick up for the budget ballers.

Honestly smells like $300 fragrance. It does take a little maceration to get better. But overall amazing scent. Unisex that leans masculine. Warm and Gourmandy and Spicy. Very pleasent to smell and aluring.

Definitely for winter. Also,,, many people misses out it's definitely not for closed room or AC room. If someone has to go,, they should spray it 20 minutes before

Mind you that I found a few "fake" bottles of this scent even though it is a cheap one. The real one lasts all day and still is one of my strongest scents.

The best of kameah line. Same as kamrah with coffe note it's boozy gourmand type of fragrance beautiful I think it's unisex I recommend it
