King Of Arabia

King of Arabia is an exercise in upscale Middle Eastern perfumery—a smooth, delicate, yet undeniably spicy leather that feels far more expensive than its price tag suggests. The opening features a strikingly realistic berry note wrapped in the crispness of freshly cut cedar; it’s just sweet enough to bridge the gap into a heart of velvety, powdery florals. There is a fascinating 'cool' quality here—almost metallic—yet it never loses its smoothness. As it settles, the raspberry lingers while the leather begins to flex, though it is masterfully tempered by an almost imperceptible vanilla. You don't smell 'vanilla' in the gourmand sense; rather, you feel the effect of vanilla rounding off the sharp edges of the leather. With incredible longevity (especially on fabric) and moderate, sophisticated projection, this is a 100% unisex compliment-getter. While some may reflexively compare it to LV Ombre Nomade due to the shared raspberry/oud DNA, King of Arabia is fundamentally its own thing—more dissimilar than similar once you look past the surface-level notes.

If there's one thing I know about Lattafa (and most Mideastern "budget" stuff), it's that you MUST let them macerate for at least 2 weeks. I give my bottles 6 weeks before I pass judgement. It's been my experience that after maceration, I'm dealing with a more developed, mature fragrance. If you're disappointed that you're only getting leather and wood, please review the first two accords above. It may (probably) take a little time for the fruitiness to come through. Personally, I'm able to pick up on the fruitiness, iris etc, but it doesn't seem like it can give me any longevity at this early time. I'll bet that's going to change with time. I just picked up this bottle today AFTER I sampled it at my local kiosk. It smelled very good at the kiosk and I suspect that it's been sitting there for at least a couple of weeks. When I got my bottle home, it smelled like it needed maceration time, and that's exactly what it's getting. My money says this is going to improve with time.

King of Arabia is an absolute stunner. It opens with a gorgeous, prominent burst of sweet raspberry and bright bergamot that transitions beautifully into a rich, high-end leather aroma reminiscent of Tom Ford. The dry-down features a fascinating evolution. There is a faint, clinical "Band-Aid" aroma peeking out behind the heavy leather. While that might sound unusual, it adds an incredible texture that cuts through the density and keeps the leather note from feeling too flat or heavy. While the official notes list cedar and patchouli, you can definitely feel the unlisted undercurrent of clean oud and musk mentioned in the website's description holding it all together. It is a masterful, royal balancing act that delivers luxury depth at an amazing price!

Fantastic easy to wear leather forward, sweet fragrance. It starts off with spicy leather, and slightly sweet fruit very similar to one of the Tom Ford leather fragrances. Then as it dries down it gets much sweeter, it has a powdery iris, it's woody, and also green somewhat minty to my nose(not sure what that is). Not sure if this has oud or not, but it kind of smells like a clean non stanky oud. Anyway it's an easy to wear leather in my opinion. I think people who like real sweet fragrances should give this a try. It smells like a middle eastern twist on a Tom Ford leather fragrance. Very good especially for the price.

This is almost a 1:1 of Carnal Desire, not sure about what the OG is for this fragrance. I love both Carnal Desire and King of Arabia, I prefer both of these over Azure Oud because the bottle is not to my liking. You can envision that Spider-man meme with Carnal Desire <> Azure Oud <> King of Arabia This is something you'd want to use on your waxed jacket. I wear both on hella hot weather and cool season in the middle east (55oC peak, and 8 to 12oC on cold season). Longevity is like 2 washes on the washing machine to get the scent out of my shirts.

People claiming this beast mode, either doesnt know whats beast mode, or just exaggerating, but scent itself is something else, a bit of "Oud Maracjua" a bit of "Cuir InfraRouge" and you get this masterpiece, would appreciate better performance because is such strong scent, but unfortunately its kinda mid performance...

What an amazing Fragrance! At first the inky oud was too loud and I thought I would hate it. I let it sit and sprayed it after a couple weeks and wow it’s so good. Very strong and sweet. The Raspberry stays the entire duration and it’s so good!

Wow, this is very nice! I found an open box of this at a rack store and had to give it a sniff. I was immediately skeptical, however, due to the fact that it smelled incredibly similar to Azzure Oud (AO) by French Avenue, a perfume I despise. In comparison, this one is way smoother and doesn't smell like trash. I know this is a clone of a Maison Crivelli fragrance, but unfortunately, I have not tried any of their fragrances, so AO will have to do. Upon first sniff, the immediate notes that stood out were the oud and leather, with a fruity note tying it all together. AO did have a similar fruity note, but it was incredibly cloying and pungent; this one is noticeable, yet smooth and seductive. The oud is also similar to AO however, AO's oud was also disgustingly pungent and almost made me vomit when I sniffed my arm; the main reason it made me sick was because it almost tried too hard to be an animalic oud while also being stupidly synthetic so the vibe wasn't there. Additionally, the leather in AO was not noticeable, as the leather in this perfume was smooth and perfectly blended with the oud. Overall, I found this perfume quite enjoyable. The main thing that is stopping me from buying it, however, is the fact that there is no logical situation where I would wear this. A dinner, nope. A day at the office, nope. literally nowhere except my own domicile.

Nose Note #683 Without being picky - all these oud fragrances from Maison Crivelli are so similar and so are the dupes. This is similar to Azzure Oud, Cocoa Morado, but I have to say I like those two better. And now for the most important comparison - Carnal Desire. I first bought Carnal Desire and oh man, this has blown me away. I loved to pieces Azzure Oud and Cocoa Morado, but Carnal Desire is absolute perfection - this raspberry and overall perfect amount of sweetness + the longevity is BEAST-like. So the bar was set too high and King of Arabia just couldn't hurdle over... If you are looking for this raspberry note and sweetness - unfortunately King of Arabia doesn't deliver and performance definitely fell short. I smelled Carnal Desire from 7am to 20pm strongly!!! And it grabbed to clothes like a crab. King of Arabia almost disappeared completely by evening, what a surprise considering the fact that it's a heavy oud fragrance... Don't get me wrong - it's still a solid performer, but it's just not as amazing as Carnal Desire And man, oh man, you just have to compare this to Carnal Desire to understand this difference in raspberry and sweetness. 8/10, I still love the DNA

Challenging for sure. I actually don’t mind it, it’s not a bad scent. It opens up very fruity and smooth. And then you get hit with leather. It has that leather scent from tom ford fragrances. The fruity nature of it really brightens it up. The notes are definitely wrong on here, so I wonder what it is actually trying to be. Not blind buy safe. The simplest way to describe this, is clean oud. I would like it better if it was beast mode. It probably projects for about 2 hours and then becomes a skin scent, but a skin scent that lasts all day.

This is currently the strongest perfume in my collection. I have been told it smells like a Tom Ford (Tuscan leather?) The fruity sweet smell is really intense the first 20 minutes, but later the dry woods (probably the cedar mimics an oud accord) and leather dominate. It is awful up close and it smells like an ash tray. You will go NOSEBLIND really quickly! Longevity: Eternal, since I purchased it, it has: survived showers (multiple), I could smell it in my room after I returned from my vacation (over a week), CARE: it sticks like crazy to surfaces and fabric! Projection/sillage: Really radioactive juice: It was enough to fill a small barbershop, and I got complaints. Scent: Can't see this getting many compliments in the future, it is intense and unsafe.

Genuinely do not like this bought this having high expectations as a blind buy always ready to like or to not like something this came off soft at first but the leather is way to overpowering its very versatile though can wear it as a daily genuinely only get raspberry and leather from it doesn't seem to be well blended enough wore this today a girl said I smell too strong and bad in a bad way other guy I asked said I smelt like a cardboard box but that I didn't smell bad some other guy said I smelt like tires fresh tires bro and my mother said I smelt like a old man 😬🙏🏽 buy at your own risk it's a very soft smell coming from me

Oud Maracuja Plus (the plus is cigarette smoke).

A very animalic (non-pleasant, to my nose) leather, with maybe some fruitiness there. And I swear I can smell oud in here? I don't know how the original smells like, but I really dislike this...

I bought this with high expectations. Owning many by Lattafa was expecting something amazing. All I get is leather and woods. I do not like it at all. I hope it changes with time.

I’m not even going to lie... I really hate King of Arabia by Lattafa. The first time I noticed it was on someone else, and it immediately stood out BUT in the worst way. It was so strong and heavy that I had to ask what they were wearing, just so I could make sure I never made the mistake of buying it. It just felt overpowering and kind of suffocating. Out of curiosity, I tried it in the store later... and somehow it was even worse up close. didn't try it on my skin, not wanting to curse myself with the smell, but my friend did, and it came off really harsh and aggressive, not smooth or well-blended at all. And as a woman. If I ever met a man wearing this, it would honestly be a turn-off. And if my boyfriend wore this? he would be single 😭 It’s just way too intense and not the kind of scent I’d ever enjoy being around. Definitely a hard pass
