La Collection D'antiquités 1886

Perfect little find. I got it for the white tobacco and white chocolate notes and stayed for the orris. This is so sophisticated and just pleasant to the senses. The kind of perfume that grounds and calms rather than hits the nose like a shot of caffeine. Ideal for cooler weather or indoor activities. Wearing this while reading a book by a window on a rainy day is just as likely as an outdoor festival in fall or spring, or a date night to the movies in summer. Unisex, absolutely, as in this would complement a man or woman as a comforting, cuddle-encouraging scent. This is ideal for snuggling close to your partner.

This is an underrated gem. Unisex but leans ever so slightly feminine. Upon the first spray, I get a sweet sparkling jasmine & bergamot champagne. I don't pick up much mate, but I do get a slight woodiness from the bark. I also get a little bit of sweetness from the cinnamon and tonka bean. The highlight of it is the white chocolate which is just decadent here. It performs ok, but nothing to write home about. Ideally, I see myself wearing this during the springtime for special occasions or nights out, but truly, this is a year-round scent as it has elements from each season. Guys, don't be afraid to wear this!

The scent of a 200 year old, beautiful, androgynous, bisexual vampire I would definitely want to get acquainted to. 45% crisp, dry orris, 45% creamy, fluff white chocolate (providing a 7/10 strength of powdery, non- gourmand sweetness), 10% nuance of tobacco, woods, musk, clean patch, what not. Smells like having exquisite taste, using your potential, being friends with your demons, and knowing when to show or hide that you are ridiculously experienced in a wide spectrum of BDSM activities. 🤍

Pleasant elegant and smooth iris, the florals are refreshing. Once it sits on the skin for a bit it develops a white chocolate note that does not overpower the rest of the notes but rather blends in. All in all a very good fragrance, tested out a decant, I will definitely grab a bottle in the future.

one of my best blind buys! Its so nice and slightly powdery but I usually dont do powdery too much in scents , but this is just so sexy and has a vanilla sweet undercurrent with a creamy vibe with soft spice. 10/10 This is unisex but fem leaning to me because of the creamy softness. love it so much.

Definitely resemble DHI. But its more than that. Only way i can describe it is Dior homme elixir. More mature with tobacco note which i adore. I hated it at first but it need at least 5 month to mature. A hidden gem with ugly bottle design and a bit pricey compere to other lattafas

Oh wow, i slept on my sample of this for a few months, today i put it on and got ran over by this luscious white chocolate ganache + iris delicacy. Definitely needs to sit cause at first glance i had just read it as a DHI clone and paid it no mind.

This is a very interesting, spicy antique store smell. I love this!! to me. This smells very similar to vintage radio by Lattafa mixed with Valhalla from Rayhaan. It’s got a little bit of booziest to it, but it just smells nice and easy to wear.

Don't know if its my 20ml version or batch code.... In both 1910 and 1886 sillage is awful. Nothing more than skin scent. Both are a bit similar in scent profile but hard to pin point the notes.

Creamy goodness! Long lasting too! That smooth white chocolate scent is to die for!

Nose Note #78 I haven't tried Dior Homme Intense, but I hope it's not a close dupe, because this one I don't find very pleasant. I did try Emper Valencia Uomo Intense a couple of times and I liked it immensely (Valentino Uomo Intense clone, which in itself is DHI inspired). A lot of iris, but it just smells like women's boudoir. I entered a large auditory and a few of my colleagues said I smelled like a woman's purse. And honestly I do agree. I don't think it's male, unisex at best. Memorable? Yes, actually very memorable - it's the best part. My wife didn't like it much. The second good part is performance - solid, above average. Especially sillage. As I said, it filled about quarter of a room that sits about 150 people.

I blind bought this recently just because it has the same notes as rabanne elixir and to be honest, it doesn't smell close probably just aboutt 70% close the bergamot and vanilla are really present on this cologne what it amazed is how long it last is lasted for about 8 hours on me, would I recommend buying it?? probably not just get rabanne or a decant of it this definitely smells more like the rabanne 1 million edt

What a delicious orris this is, it's also accompanied by a hint of tobacco and cinnamon on the drydown. Powdery, very smooth, sweet, slightly milky & slightly musky. This is just beautiful. It also kind of reminds me of some makeup and lipstick scents from my mom's/auntie's room, but it's definitely unique on its own. I can't stop sniffing because of how smooth it is. Enjoyed this. Very good sillage and longevity.

brings back memories of my first designer frag, Dior Homme Intense. Smells like a white chocolate-y version of it in the opening, then becomes much more earthy in the drydown. Extremely unique and definitely not blind buy safe, buy a sample first like I did.

This is absolutely NOT a perfect clone of Dior Homme intense, La Collection D'antiques 1886 is actually a mediocre fragrance with really tiny resemblances to DHI. This smells like an Acrid and bitter chocolate mixed with a dirty lipsticky iris, there's also (to my nose) a note of tea and some spiciness in the background. Not a well made fragrance at all, I sold it immediately after trying it for some days. It's really unbalanced and not pleasant in my opinion. Also, really bad performances, skip this. 6/10

I have finally understood what this is supposed to be a clone of: SAND DANCE by Stéphane Humbert Lucas! I have tried Vulcan Sable by French Avenue (clone of Sand Dance) and it smells almost identical to La Collection D'antiquités 1886. This just feels a tiny bit earthier but other than that they are basically the same fragrance.

Smells like a banquet hall but in the most happy nostalgic way. Update: It might be that hint of brightness with a heavy waxy orris. There’s a pillar of subtle woodiness. Someone described this as “inside of a woman’s purse” and honestly I can see that. It has this clean/tidy yet worn in quality. This is not a mass appealing fragrance. It’s kind of weird but in a chic, goes to museums on saturdays, loves vintage leather boots, speakeasy enthusiast, kind of fragrance. The opening is unfortunately kind of clunky. I don’t want to say mismatched, because maybe it was a blending/ingredient issue. It comes across as sour, almost spoiling the white chocolate ganache, white tobacco combo. It’s certainly a ride. This might be the first time in my perfume hobby journey that something smells truly “niche”. The banquet hall comment still stands.

With all the Lattafa Antiquities line, they have to start with the one I hate the most. 😓 Britney Spears Fantasy, Mugler Angel and rotting wood mixed in a bottle🤮

Not a dupe for Dior Homme Intense, though it gives a rather similar feel. It's less musky and woody than DHI, and a lot more white floral-y. Tobacco is a nice touch. Leans slightly feminine, creamy, soft, but I can surely see myself rocking it. It's a wonderful perfume if you like creamy iris scents. I've smelled Tabac Blanc only once, and on the cap too, so can't really comment if this is similar to it.
