What can I say about Lattafa Lahdath? Its FANTASTIC! Definitely a beautiful dupe of Mancera Roses Vanille. I adore Mancera Roses Vanille, but the price is more than I want to spend, so I went looking for dupes. As soon as I saw the beautiful, unique bottle and presentation of Lahdath, that SEALED it. I had to get it. It took a little longer than a month for it to arrive, but boy, every day it took, I checked and rechecked its progress across the globe, impatiently waiting for its arrival. It FINALLY came today and I was so thrilled to open the shipping box and find the big, luxurious white and gold presentation box inside. I think even if the perfume smelled like rotten, wet gym socks, Id still want to keep this on my dresser bc its just that unique and so gorgeous. Its not tacky at all. I worried that it might end up looking tacky once it arrived and I had it in hand, but thats simply not the case. I CAN say that at least as far as my initial pre-maceration sprays, the atomizer leaves something to be desired. At first spray, it wobbled atop the bottle and nothing came out. I sprayed again, and all subsequent sprays it was wobbly, but fragrance began coming out. DEFINITELY NOT a great atomizer. I hope it lasts the life of the bottle. The bottle is large, and heavy for its size. Its easy to hold and feels good in hand. As far as the fragrance, my gosh, its STUNNING. Im sitting here surrounded in a Roses Vanille bubble and nobody can tell me otherwise. I can compare it directly to the decant of MRV I have, and there is no difference. (Yet) I suspect that the longevity of Lahdath will definitely not last super long right now, due to it not having been macerated yet, but bc I sprayed it directly out of the box at arrival, Im not expecting anything nuclear at this point. Im a happy girl, bathed in a beautiful, sugary rose, and a bright, sweet lemon right now. I wish this scent came in dryer sheets cause Id loveeeeee to have my bedding smell like this. Being a single woman at this time is my preference, but I think its for my best right now, bc if I had a boyfriend, he would absolutely eat me from the floor up if I walked past, leaving this scent in my wake. This fragrance is intoxicating. Its rich. It says I have money AND class. Hmmm. Thats a new one for me! I usually love dark, jammy, broody roses at this time of year but this bright, gorgeous rose is absolutely stunning and I cant get enough. Ive got my nose down my shirt as I type this, taking deep breaths like a woman about to go under for surgery! Lol I think this would be excellent in the colder Fall and Winter months but this rose also says Spring so Im probably going to happily wear it year round, whenever the mood strikes. I don't smell anything vaguely plasticky, or burnt or rubbery. All I smell is sugary lemon rose, caramel and vanilla. Let me set the picture for you. Its Spring, the sun in shining and a soft breeze is blowing the scent of the neighbor's profusely blooming rose garden over the white picket fence and into your open back door. Its the day of your Girls' Get Together and youve set the table outside with your best floral china and crystal glasses. In the center of the table sits a charcuterie board bursting with yummy nibbles. Before you, are an array of caramels and those delicious dried lemon slices covered in sugar from Trader Joes (if you know, you know..they were the best!) along with a plate of large, fresh cream puffs from the local bakery, each loaded with a thick, indulgent whipped vanilla cream filling. Wind chimes tinkle from the edge of the shaded porch your girlfriends are seated under, and as you look around the table into the joyful, smiling faces of your best friends, taking in their lovely, colorful sundresses and flowy wraps, you inhale deeply and sigh in contentment. Life surely does not get better than this. I say if you love Mancera Roses Vanille, but dont wanna pay that price, you couldnt go wrong buying this instead. Its just a masterpiece.

This quickly became my favourite. I discovered it on the notino website just browsing and imidately I was drawn in by the spectacular packaging, it really is beautiful but OMG when you open it, even without spraying you can smell the rose..The opening is citrusy, fresh zesty rose and it is so strong..Once it settles its a richer sweet rose and sugar. Its so feminine and powerful, but to me it is not too overpowering and can be used in the summer/spring.I do like strong, statement perfumes so to me this is a hit. I put it on my neck and wrists in the morning,around 7 am and when I left work, around 5 I could still smell it on me, but after 8 h it sets into a softer version- it still smells sweet and feminine, but more powdery with a hint of rose...kinda like opening a make up product that has rose fragrance added to it. The notes listed here really are true.

Just got this today. Basically its Lattafa's Ajwad..but WITHOUT that horrible metallic note that totally ruins it. This one is good... Rose,some kind of warm Caramel or Sugar, Thinking more of a Caramel warm sweetness in there. If there is Lemon, it is a very candied Lemon. Got the Cedar a bit. Soft wine. I see a lot of notes posted and I'm not sure about them all yet, Earthy? Green? no. I don't even see rose listed?? But surely "woody" is not the description for this fragrance. Anyway..let me wear this for a few hours and see what all I smell. Supposedly this and Ajwad are dupes of Roses Vanille. For sure more of a feminine scent. I will say the bottle is kinda tacky and it comes in a plastic dome. But...I don't care as long as it smells good. And it does. Update- Yeah, the notes posted here are completely wrong. Update- notes have been fixed.

This is a beautiful sweet and slightly musky rose scent, one of my favorites, and it lasts for hours on the skin and even longer on clothing. It also has good sillage and projection, I feel like I have a sparkly, fluffy, sweet scent bubble around me whenever I wear it. The vanilla and caramel make it gourmand-ish without being heavy, so I think you could get away with wearing it year round, as long as you apply with a light hand in warmer months. Today I opened a tube of Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in the shade Love Is On (it happens to be the only scented lipstick in that line, which I didn't know before hand) and Lahdath smells very very similar. The lipstick has a peach note, from what I've read, instead of lemon so it's a touch sweeter, but I think if you like one you'll like the other.

i've never smelled roses vanille, so i can't compare as a dupe. this is like my ~perfect~ rose fragrance. jammy rose, candied lemon, vanillic caramel. absolutely beautiful. the citrus in the opening is admittedly a little sharp, but i just got it today so it may need some time to settle. the dry down is intoxicating-- i'm enticed by my own scent bubble. it's just this seductive, warm and sugary floral fragrance that will definitely be my signature scent this winter. i think it would be a show stopper all year round, but the brightness of the lemon might not be enough to stop it from getting cloying on hot summer days. in any case, this is a love straight out of the box. i'll come back and update if it changes regardless.

I've had mine sitting for a year. When I first got it, the few times I sprayed it I wasn't impressed. Fast forward a year, it is absolutely beautiful. It's gotten more linear as it's sat but not in a bad way. I get more vanilla and sweetness than rose but none of the notes overpower another. The bit of citrus keeps it from going over the vanilla edge and grounds the sweetness. Once again, the adage holds true with ME scents, "If you don't like it today, you'll love it in a year." Or something like that

I got this a few months back. First spray, and I got some citrusy Rose. Strong on Rose and the citrus kind of made it weird for me to start. It's jammy. Not too sweet. As it sat it became more creamy, still rosey, smooth and a woodiness to it. It is just so comforting to me, I sleep with it a lot and I still smell it in the morning. (previous to this, I didn't understand people that put on perfume for bed) I also love the container it comes in like Beauty and the Beast rose case.

OMG this is just divine. I've let it macerate a few months in a drawer and tried it out again on date night and it was just gorgeous. It reminds me ever so slightly of MFK's Oud Satin Mood in that the rose is such a rich jammy rose that it's almost gourmand, of course that is helped along by the deep luscious vanilla & creamy buttery caramel. The lemon keeps it fresh. Its super sexy. Hubby was impressed too! It's definitely one of my favourites. The bottle is gorgeous too.

I agree with others that this is rose heavy in the beginning, and yes, citrus is strong at first. After a half hour it dries into a sweet jammy rose. After 2 hours it’s a beautiful, powdery caramel vanilla with light woody notes. I purchased this bc a YouTuber said it was basically a Rose Gourmand that lasts longer. I prefer Rose Gourmand to this but it definitely does last longer. I’ll still wear this and maybe it will macerate into a sweeter scent profile that I love.

I bought this due to the notes similar to Roses Vanille and Roses Musk. I sprayed right away, and it was wonderful, no waiting. I find it a little less sharp than Roses Musk. I don't get a powdery note. It doesn't last all day. I have been spraying with reckless abandon, as it was under $30. I'm a fan.

Notes posted are wrong. From lattafa website. Top: rose, lemon Middle : rose, caramel Bottom: vanilla, musk, cedar I have and love this. Same scent family as roses vanille and intense cafe. It has a bit of lattafa’s twist and it’s sweetness is more caramelly. Amazing projection and lasting power.

Chemicals at first; have to let mature. Great on clothes, fades more on skin. Sweet, caramel rose w/green tone, fresh and alluring.

I love vanilla and rose so together this is heaven! It’s a great balance of the two and comes off as an “it girl” perfume. Staple!

Intense Cafe’s dna...maybe a bit softer version...so glad to blind buy this!

Lahdath is such a good perfume. It's a unique gem. The lemon is shy in Lahdath, but overall it smells like a jammy rose with caramel. The combination works so well together. As I've read in other reviews, it does remind me of how some cosmetic products smell. This is such a cool perfume. In Lahdath, you're going to get a yummy caramel rose. It's a floral gourmand - an elegant and sweet rose. Plus, I like the dome case. The weight of the bottle feels like quality in your hand. The design of the bottle is a beautiful masterpiece.

I'm not sure if I've reviewed this but I want to echo, this is a tart jammy rose scent, very very sweet and strong. This lasts and projects for hours and fills the air with its girly sweetness. Best for cooler weather. Perfect for younger wearers who want a non grandma rose scent. I personally like the powderyness because it balances out the very strong jammyness.

Jammy rose, vanilla and caramel brightened with a tiny bit of citrus and warmed with musk and cedar wood. You really get all of the notes with this perfume. Yes, she’s a great substitute for Roses Vanille and Intense Cafe. Unisex, romantic, great projection and longevity. Will definitely repurchase if I ever run out.

This would be a love for me if it didn't have that pesky musk! It's a very sweet, feminine rose scent. It reminds me of Paris Corner's Emir Vanilla and Roses (but I like that one the most). If the musk doesn't come out too forward in the future I might get this but I already have the V&R so I'll stick with that.

Smells like a rose dipped in caramel and some cedarwood and musk in the background. It’s not bad but it’s very powdery. If you are a fan of make-up scents you might like this. The bottle is what made me impulsively buy it lol and I might keep it just for that. Definitely a grown scent for a more mature woman.

Starts off bright and nothing special, but once the top burns off, the rose finally shows up. Clean, soft, and clearer the longer it sits. Still simple, still a little generic, but the drydown is where the rose actually becomes noticeable and wearable on my skin.

People have called this a dupe for Mancera Roses Vanille, but on my skin they are very different. Lahdath starts with rose and a burst of citrus. It then becomes sweet and jammy rose with a dry down of caramel and some of that sharp cedar and musk that most Lattafa fragrances seem to have. Performance is good. Packaging is super cute. If it doesn't make you think of Beauty and the Beast, well then you probably haven't seen Beauty and the Beast! I haven't tried any other dupes for Roses Vanille, but Tanasuk fragrance oil (by Al Haramain) is closer than Lahdath.

Just received and will let it sit for a few weeks because I love the initial spray! Strong rose but after 10 seconds it dives in a funk (light body odor). I got no caramel, simply a blast of ROSES quickly followed by funk. Hopefully having it sit will bring the more appealing notes.

I almost really liked this, but yes, the lemon was musty, and the cedar was too strong for me in the dry down. 😩 Maybe I should have let it sit longer?

Ehhh. It's ok, doesn't last that long. It's more powdery than Rose Vanille. Ok, for the price

The milky pink white swirl candy including the weird smell that comes from the bag

It starts off as a tart-sweet, syrupy rose, like a raspberry sauce. For about an hour, there’s a very unpleasant bitter note. After that, it slowly transforms into a lovely raspberry ice cream, it's creamy, tart-sweet vanilla but is a tad sharp. I’m going to hold off on rating it for now since I just got my bottle. I’ll give it some time and come back to update if that opening improves and if it gets any smoother. There's a lot of potential. It's been about 4 months now and I just can't recommend this at all, I think it has gotten worse. The dry down is really lovely it's a raspberry sauce over vanilla ice cream. The first couple hours though, not great. It's very sweet to the point of being cloying. It still has that bitterness, it's sharp and I also got that smell of cheap metal jewelry has when it gets old. It's not unbearable but it's just not particularly pleasant. If it was only 10 maybe 15 minutes I could give it a pass but there are so many beautiful jammy sweet rose fragrances out there that don't have an unpleasant 2 hour start.

Sicky and nauseous sweet, no freshness from the rose to break up the sweetness. I love a sweet well blended fragrance, but this is not it.

Omg, ALMOST exactly Roses Vanille by Mancera, the CLOSEST dupe I have ever found for a fragrance. I ordered Roses Vanille online and as soon as I smelled it for the first time- immediate recognition as I realized I HAD this fragrance already (in Ladath by Lattafah.) I had no idea Ladath was even a dupe when I got it months ago, but as soon as I tried the OG Roses Vanille, I immediately looked up the notes to compare and soon realized that strikingly similar DNA was no fluke, it was a dupe that was executed immensely well. there are differences, however: Ladath has a sharper opening citrus note and an overall much stronger rose-forward note. The rose notes in the two are definitely different roses, also. Ladath is overall much stronger silliage and lasting power, although Roses Vanille does have a lovelier and much softer dry-down of sweet, inoffensive and SOFT rose, much more detectable vanilla in its blend, and less of a citrus note that sticks around much shorter. I do prefer roses Vanille, but with such a similar fragrance in my collection at a ridiculously lower price... I may have to even consider returning it for the time being!

I was sitting at a one of my frequented coffee shops last winter with 2 sprays of this on my scarf. Two college-aged girls sat down across from me and immediately began talking about how good it smelled. I didn't say anything but I knew they were smelling this. It's a very* sweet... jammy sweet... rose, with a touch of raspberry to my nose, tons of vanilla, and a light green note throughout that makes this a more youthful rose. It's extremely linear, not changing from 1st spray to dry down. It's not a love - too sweet to love it, but I wear this every once in a while in the colder months - I feel it would be wayyyy too cloying (for me personally) to wear in the southern summer heat. But it brings a sweet, youthful, feminine warmth to cold and dreary days. Sometimes it's nice to just mix it up and wear a spray or 2 of something bordering on sickly sweet 💖 Xo

I received this today and couldn't wait to test. I sprayed it out a few times and some got on my skin and there was a strong musty smell. But after a few minutes that strong note disappeared, and I was able to pick up on a sweet Jammy rose with a freshness/zestiness from the lemon. It's nice, it's strong and packs a punch just from that one spray but I hope once it macerates the weird opening will be gone. I'll give an update in a few weeks. Update 9/5/24: macerated nicely. This is a smooth, sweet, soft vanilla rose with some citrus. Nothing sharp about this and I love how smooth and soft this became. Like a velvety rose dipped in a rich caramel sauce. Love it.

Yummy, rosy, and sweet, this is my everyday fragrance these days. Ever since smelling Miss Dior a couple of years ago I've been wanting a rosy scent and I'm very happy with this one. I know I'm not supposed to but I usually spray it on my clothes because spritzing it above me and stepping through the mist is too overwhelming for me. I got this fragrance from a neighbor who was clearing out her collection due to a migraine condition she's developed. Her loss is my gain! Since I got it from her I guess it went through the necessary "marinating" period that some others have mentioned and was ready to wear and enjoy.

A musky, powdery, sweet and warm rose with little to no citrus, which is what made it a favourite. A really good take on Roses Vanille if you find the citrus in Roses Vanille too much. However, you have to like rosy and powdery scents to like this. The vanilla here is not as pronounced, the caramel takes its place. Lahdath does not have that dry sugary rose that Roses Vanille has. I don't know how I feel about the bottle, though. Looks pretty, but I wish I could see the content.

This is an underappreciated and less popular gem. The notes given are more like what another user posted below - very rose, caramel and thick sweet dry down. Excellent longevity and performance - complete crowd pleaser. There's a glass variant of this bottle too, but this is from the Pride series whereas that doesn't seem to be so. Fragrance between the two may or may not be different though!

This was unfortunately far too heavy and musty for me. Only when you spray it do you feel a bit of lemon, although not a fresh lemon scent, more of a musty one. Then comes the heavier sweetish jammy rose, unfortunately not a fresh rose at all. This probably suits older people more. I can also smell some caramel but not in a good way.

If you’re looking for Rose Vanille dupe, Lahdath is one of the closest one. There’s no twist present like in Ajwad (metallic note) or Sakeena (a more sweeter approach). It’s just a proper jammy rose vanilla. I think it’s a safe blind buy if you like Rose Vanille by Macera.

The name of this perfume means "moments" in Arabic. Very poetic in my opinion, especially paired with the fairytale inspired bottle and the sweet, rosy scent. This is a beautiful perfume and quite strong as well. Perfect for the days when you feel romantic.
