Mohra

I've had this stuff for about 8 or 9 months now but I haven't been able to get much wear out of it throughout the warmer months. Now that it's cooling off again and I'm getting more wear out of it, I wanted to make sure to give it a full review as I feel that it's quality for the price ratio is about as high as it gets in the current market. I've owned Halfeti Cedar but I need another bottle, however I remember it very well and while they are close, Mohra is definitely less woody, more powdery and the fruit is darker and jamier and dustier than the bright, zingy peach you get in Halfeti Cedar. I'd definitely say that the rose is more prominent here also. I've never had the opportunity to smell Halfeti Leather but looking at the presentation with Mohra, I can't help but wonder if that's what they were going for. And I can say that the blood orange, saffron and rose combo in this fragrance definitely comes across very plum like and that is a listed top note in Halfeti Leather. I get very good performance here, just as good, if not better in longevity than I got from Halfeti Cedar and the projection may be a little less diffusive than the Pennhaligons but on for the first 30 minutes to an hour or so and then I think that Mohra maintains a better, heavier presence into the longer hours of the wear and then it finally settles into a skin scent about 8 to 9 hours into the wear. It's definitely geared more for Autumn and Winter, maybe Early Spring, and I think it works well for both day and night wear but most people might prefer to save it for evening and date night or nights out only. Overall it's a very beautiful fragrance that punches well above it's price point, and if you order one of the newer bottles with the cap that matches the label instead of the goofy looking clear cap, then the presentation is also very nice and well above in quality what it's price would suggest. I think Middle Eastern fragrance houses should do more of this kind of stuff, unique fragrances like this, Asdaaf Majd Al Sultan and Teriaq. All of these are original fragrances in my opinion and not an attempt to clone anything, but they're also probably my favorite from Lattafa, and I have MANY from the house. I highly recommend you get your nose on this one asap. It's got above average performance and projection and the price you can get it at make it a hard deal to pass up!!!

---Edit 3--- So Id purchased Mohra back in May 2024, and liked it right away. It did smell "expensive" yet somehow it seemed to lack "direction". I get its meant to be a Halfeti clone, but back then Id just get a "Woodsey/Cola Vibe" which was nice, but I found it a bit lacking in projection and Longevity. Id try it periodically and it had improved, but nothing really drastic, so since it was still way too warm out to wear, I had stored it in its box and stuck it in my Fall/Winter collection crate. Well, in November Id fished it out of that crate, used it a few times, left an updated review in November noting an obvious improvement to the performance and actual dna, then stored it away again untill a couple days ago.. And wWOWw! This thing has evolved EVEN MORE since then! Its become much stronger/lowder, its more powdery, effervescent, and I can now pick out the fresh, clean Lavender where before I could not. The spices and Cedar note are now more pronounced, and unless I'm loosing it, Id swear Im getting a boozy accord. Again, the performance has drastically improved now since November, and I know it has bc today after doing my usual 6 spritzes which I used to do with Mohra for work, I could tell Id over-done it this time bc this scent just kept SSSmacking in the face and it didn't used to project that way. So I had to go wash a bit off my neck after I arrived at work, and I could still smell Mohra on myself for the rest of my shift at work today from the 4 spritzes I had dine on my shirt, where before I couldnt smell it after a couple hours. Anyhow, Mohra now smells even better. It's more powdery, brighter, more fruity (blood orange), spicier and I think Im now getting a hint of a booziness when I definately didnt before. Clone "Cheapie" or not, Lattafa's Mohra has definately become my ALL TIME favorite woody/spicey fragrance and now I actually crave and miss wearing it. Imo, Mohra has climed from a 7 to an 8 to a 9 outta 10 after reaching its peak potential post maceration, and if this thing keeps elvolving for the better , I think my head may just explode! Lol. Anyhow, it really has transformed into a Superb fragrance, and I really enjoy wearing it. Thanks to whomever took the time to read my review 😉

From the first spray, the three woods, patchouli, amber, musk and labdanum (with its leather, honey and plum notes) take charge and never let go. The top notes are kind of an afterthought. This is quite rich, straddling the west/middle eastern line with both crowd-pleasing and exotics working together. Given time, the honey and amber/vanillic notes take more of the limelight, and there is a beautiful bitter note like oakmoss or artemesia that supports the interplay between the amber and woods. I don't get rose, thankfully. Throughout the drydown, the amber, patchouli/musk, woods (especially cedar), and honey/leather (of the labdanum) all take turns in prominence, always combining to make the sum greater than the very impressive parts. Not a linear juice in any way. This is a gorgeous creation. It leans masculine for me, but confident women could definitely wear this. The EDP concentration prevents this from being a projection monster, which is probably a good thing, but the wearer will enjoy this for a long time. Update: Possibly because of the predominance of base notes, this has an unusual characteristic: it actually gets stronger as time passes. I did 7 sprays on my chest/shirt on my first wearing, which seemed perfect. After an hour or so, however, I was enveloped in a cloud of powerful amber, sweet incense, a bitter oakmoss note, a slightly animalic leather and plenty of woods, patchouli and musk. Still a beautiful scent but perhaps too much of a good thing. Second time I went with four sprays, with better results.

Having never smelled that fragrance, I am judging on its own merits. This is a complex hybrid cologne that starts off as a gourmand with a sweet and spicy opening that will immediately remind you of root beer. That gives way to a fresh aromatic fougere notes which then settle into woody and powder aromas. This is really unique and the aromatic fougere notes really balance out the sweetness well. This is a strong performer that is good for both sexes. It's great for intimate occasions and date nights. The sweet root beer opening is strong and misleading and makes this not good for those who dislike sweet fragrances. The aromatic fougere notes that follow also make this not good for those who feel that style of fragrance is outdated. This can be an overwhelming fragrance for those not used to such a complex hybrid style. For those who can rock it, this is absolutely great. Easy recommend.

Cedar and Patchouli. Those are the main notes for me (and by main, I mean the smells I picked up on that is most appealing) to me. The cedar gives an almost eucalyptus, citrus and earthy air to this fragrance. The patchouli acts in conjunction with the earthiness of the cedar.You might think of this as an echo, one note impersonating another and yet both are inimitable. As in oil painting, sometimes you choose your base colours (or your out-of-tube colours ), and then mix in another tone...perhaps something warm, perhaps something cold. The point being that your chosen palette after mixing feels cohesive and creates a harmony in the painting you use it for. Mohra feels like that to me. It is a painting I want to spend time with, to observe and understand the textures, brush strokes, and warm, harmonious colour choices. It is an inviting fragrance, feeling like an old friend. I know it's not that deep, but to me this evokes feelings of comfort, and I will nuzzle up to anyone wearing this. Longevity is but a word here as Mohra lasts about the same time as a good nang. EDIT: 16/07/2025 The fragrance hasn't changed much and the longevity and sillage improved marginally. Sillage: Before maturation: 4/10 After: 5/10 Longevity: Before: 2 hours. After: 2.5 - 3 hours I just resigned myself to the fact that I need to over-spray and top up every now and again, and therefore set to finish the bottle this week. Due to the cost of this perfume it is still great value despite the performance. Absolutely bewitching.

Yeah, so Ive been going through some fragrances trynne figure out which I want to de-clutter as I have over 70 frags (over half are clones), and I came accross Lattafa's Mohra which would make a perfect sell for PoshMart. I've only worn it once about 4 months ago. I liked it, but it wasn't a "Love", I decided to spray some and see if it had changed/macerated.. WHOA! I guess I shouldn't have done that bc theres NO WAY IN HELL IMMA GET RID OF THIS BEAUTY! This fragrance has gone from a like to a LOVE fo sho! It smells way more woody/cedar like with that blood orange and spiceyness, its really devine! At first Mohra smelled more feminine to me, but the woods and spices have really become center stage and it now smells more unisex and just REALLY EXPENSIVE! I honestly think its one of the more "Expensive smelling" Clones I now have, plus its perfection for this time of year. Great performance, but NOT cloying like ut felt before, (probably cause it was mid summer), but I now give this an 8 outta 10, and couldn't emagine getting rid of this one. I highly recommend this fragrance to whomever enjoys woody/spicey/sparkling fragrances with a very slight powdery touch which is only there to elevate the scent, GORGEOUS!! I do have to say, of course to my nose, the note breakdown for this fragrance should be almost the same as Penhaligon’s Halfeti Cedar because I get many of, if not most or all, notes listed for Penhaligon’s Halfeti Cedar. It’s possible that Fragrantica got mixed up the fragrances with something else as far as I look at the note breakdown listed here is quite questionable. I get nice boozy note with peach, sweet dried fruits, cardamom, lots of cinnamon and cedar notes, some saffron and patchouli. This is a great cozy warm and spicy scent, and end up with sweet creamy and woody fragrance on my skin. I think this was a great hit considering I bought it for a very affordable price from FragBuy. If you like Nebra, Khamrah by Lattafa, Magic Oud Kalimath by Paris Corner you might also enjoy this one. It’s made in UAE but there’s no oud in here so it’s still oriental scent but easier to pull this one off if you are not fond of oud fragrances. This is right in the middle of male & female fragrances but I think it will smell more masculine on men’s skin and the other way around on female skin. Very attractive and alluring scent especially in the cooler evenings but if you control the sprays, it’s four seasons.

Wow, this one was a big surprise for me. I've owned Penhaligon's Halfeti Cedar for a little over a year now and though I have enjoyed it thoroughly, this is honestly what I was hoping for when I ordered it and I couldn't possibly be happier with my purchase!!! Just going from the notes I wasn't expecting this to be a direct clone of Halfeti Cedar and it's not, but for me every change made is in the right direction. It's just an amazing fragrance with amazing depth, woodiness, spiciness, booziness, warmth and even a nice bit of fresh spice to it in the dry down. It's got several nice transitions in the wearing period that are just a great experience every time. My wife says that it's got a spiced-cola vibe to it, and it definitely does in the opening. But then the patchouli warms up on your skin and the cedar, sandalwood and labdanum really come to the forefront and it's almost an ambered wood at this point with a hint of spice, but from there those notes start to take a backseat to the spices, and the longer it's on, the more fresh the spices get into the dry down and it is this unique facet that keeps me intrigued and I'm sure this is a fragrance I'll be coming back to for quite some time!!!

Lattafa Mohra EDP is a captivating fragrance that’s both approachable and mysterious. Right out of the gate, you get a rich blend of warm spices and a touch of fruity sweetness, but once it settles, the cedar note really takes over and steals the show. This isn’t the sharp, clean cedar you might find in more western fragrances; here, it's softened and almost earthy, adding a dry, woody depth that feels grounded and natural. The cedar feels almost like freshly-cut wood—balanced and not overpowering, more like walking through a forest in late summer. It pairs beautifully with a light smokiness that makes the scent feel rich but never heavy. As it warms on the skin, the cedar mingles with a bit of creamy amber and a touch of musk, which rounds it out nicely without drowning the woodiness. Longevity is solid, lasting around 6-8 hours, which makes it a great choice for day-to-night wear. Sillage is moderate, enough to be noticed but not overly loud. Mohra is ideal if you’re looking for something different from the usual sweet or overly spicy profiles. The cedar note makes it feel rooted, timeless, and honestly, a bit addictive.

Smells like whiskey, cedar, pepper. Those looking for a cheap coca-cola smell should check out Jovan Sex Appeal, this isn't it. It a really peppery grown up kind of a smell. I don't get citruses at all. It's similar to Beat Cafe Jusbox , Beat Cafe being more like actual whiskey. While this is like a spiced whiskey coctail, like a whiskey - cola but with the whiskey being 70% of the total. You can smell plum if you twist your brain enough, but it's not a sweet plum more like a plum in a shot of whiskey. I don't get any of the top notes listed, no rose and no Musk. I get something like a smell of a whiskey barrel. Woody and alcoholic, with a dash of plum like sweetness. This is pretty masculine as well just s heads up for the ladies. This is a woods and boose coctail but not a very sweet one. Great when going out casually at night to a bar or for social gatherings, it's not really for work because you'll smell like whiskey. I wouldn't classify this as a sexy fragrance but it maybe could be seen as such. To me this is like Interlude man on when and where I would wear this. It dryes down to soft smoke.

Dark, mysterious,warm, and reserved. That's what I get. Not a partying or club scent. Maybe a black tie event? Very classy and formal. Opens with a ripe plum note, then it develops into a dry fruit with rum, followed by a creamy woodiness in the dry down with a hint of Oud. The juice quality is fantastic! very well blended. Nothing synthetic or rubbing alcohol smelling. The projection is quite intimate, you'd have to get pretty close to the wearer to smell it. But the longevity is decent, about 7 hours for me. I think you could wear this in any season, but it's definitely a nighttime scent. If you're all about Dior Savauge, ADG Profondo, PR Invictus, this may not be a safe blind buy. If you like fragrances like Encre Noir, Bentley for Men, or Ambre Sultan, you will likely enjoy this one! If you like any of Penhaligon's Halfeti flankers, you'll definitely enjoy this one! This is a combination of Halfeti, Halfeti cedar, and Halfeti leather (minus the leather note). It's not a 1-1 dupe of them but has the same DNA.

This is a really nice and somewhat unique fragrance and I say "somewhat unique" only bc Mohra sorta reminds me of Lattafa's Liam which is inspired by Gris Charnel only Mohra is sweeter (wo being gourmand) and is effervescent while Liam is spicier and a bit less sweet. Mohra also gives me that "makeup bag" vibe, and smells like I'm sticking my face in some young lady's purse who's REALLY into makeup. The spicey effervescence is very appealing, and is probably why it kinda/sorta reminds me of Cola. Mohra really does remind me of Cola and (to my nose) Mohra leans just a tad feminine due to that makeup bag vibe wo being too feminine, yet I feel I have NO ISSUES pulling this off as a guy. This scent is probably more of a fall/winter fragrance bc of that sweet spicey richness. Mohra just smells like its really expensive and its hard to believe it costs around 30 bucks, crazy! I'm glad I picked it up so I can expand my collection. 7 outta 10 in my opinion, solid!

I like this a lot. Lavender is usually a bit too much for me, but here that spicy "Coca Cola" and slightly waxy Sandalwood make this very pleasant to my nose. And yes, this has quite low sillage, which I personally appreciate in these aromatic powdery fragrances. So this is not the kind of macho Boss scent that fills the room, but rather a seductive unisex that does even leave a beautiful tail, that sandalwood and candy cola (mayby even dates?) hint take on a bigger aura than aromatics as the scent dries down. For me this is a fun combination of old fashionedness, I think of Youth-Dew or even Tabu and then that very modern sweet aromatic too. Completely unisex, not leaning towards either gender. Longevity could be better, but is still acceptable 4-5 hours on my perfume-eating skin. These are the scents you find yourself wearing the most. Versatile, I think.

What A fantastic blind buy- I’ve been collecting fragrance's for over 20 years , The majority are from the 80s However, I have abroad nose for For modern gems. I have been wearing this for a couple of days and suddenly it dawned on me. Firstly, reminding me of 24 go dark. Then LIDGE GUERLAIN - The opening for something so affordable is very balanced And does not come across synthetic. On skin in warm weather in the UK, it shines , The Patchouly Is earthy and powdery The sweetness comes from dates and fig Or maybe a combination Of fruit But The Blood Orange Isn’t as Prominent in the opening as I thought it might be . It also has a very delicious boozy Accord , I do not get Coca-Cola, I own a number of vintage bottles of youth dew So I know what Coca-Cola accord smells like and this is not it Absolute banger for the price. UK under £20.

Like other reviewers, I went back and forth on purchasing this fragrance. But YouTube, Arabian, perfume goddess, Simin Shaikh, pushed me over the fence. I'm so glad I listened to her. Mohra is like walking into a Middle Eastern spice market on a cool day with a gentle breeze blending the smells of sweet spices, herbs and freshly cut wood that people are using as tables. I smell pomegranate which is not listed as an ingredient. It's slightly syrupy like a very sweet, cheap red wine. This is not a good blind buy. It's much too exotic unless you love heavy, spicy, woody scents. It's a fall/winter fragrance and while I think some men can pull this off, I think it leans more towards a feminine scent. As long as they produce this, I will have it in my collection.

Candied orange rind on a glass of cherry plum wine, settling on a bed of cold spice and incense. I like that the sweetness fades slightly but stays all the way through the dry down. My only drawback is its longevity, while her Silky Rose flanker gives endless scent all day, by hour 6 Mohra is a skin scent on me. Edit: Longevity seems to be improving as the bottle ages. Second edit: Had something strange happen with this while traveling by plane. I kept a decant in my carry on, not sure what happened but after landing it smelled completely different. I was so excited to share this with a friend only for it to smell like soapy bubble bath. My bottle still smells great, but whatever happened in the decant was a huge let down.

I haven’t actually owned ‘Halfeti’ but I have worn it. Without having then side by side I can’t do a comparison of the fragrance itself. Low down... The packaging is good and the presentation is lovely for what you pay. The Atomiser dispersed a good spray and I was happy with the coverage on the skin. Longevity is very good, I put two sprays on at 10am and it’s still noticeable at 4pm. Sillage is overall good. The fragrance starts off slightly harsh on first sniff but really does develop after a few minutes, then it’s just lovely. Warm, spicy, dried fruits, really nice. For the price I paid of £16 it really is a no brainer, this is one of my best purchases ever to be honest, a real bargain for what you get. Enjoy people

It's intriguing....it's warm, deep, dark, dense and spicy. On my skin, I get dried fruits, prunes soaked in rum with spices and wood. In terms of imagery, I see myself walking after it has rained in the autumn and the leaves are soaked on the ground and there is the smell of the wet earth, woods, trees and berries. It's calm, it's cosy and somewhat relaxing if you like nature and that kind of scenery. I've got nothing in my collection that smells like this. If you like Tom Ford Black Orchid or Velvet Orchid, you may like this type of scent profile. For me, it is perfectly unisex. It would be lovely on anyone. I wouldn't call this a safe blind buy, although it was a success for me! Great value for money.

Oh yeah this is distinct and good stuff. Let it settle for two weeks and already quite impressed. Lovely scent bubble, and uniqueness. Cherry Cola thing feels legitimate to me currently. I like it. For the price ($55AUD) for me - I'm definitely happy. This will be great through winter/fall some spring time for me. Occasion wise I'm not sure but nothing too outdoorsy or in hot weather. My girlfriend loves this - definitely suitable for date nights and intimate settings if your partners likes the predominant accords. To me, it's a cosy type of scent at this rate, one I'd wear mostly for myself. I'll report back later.

after first not liking this when i got it, to trying it again a month later and still not enjoying it, i decided to try this again after a few months and i dont know whether its my nose or the maceration thats developed this into something i cant enough of. very sexy in my opinion, deliciously woody and dark, but not gothic. definitely unisex, but something in it gives me womanly vibes, a beautiful confident woman dressed in dark clothes. would definitely wear this out on a date, but its also currently my daily wear.
