Musk Candy Rose

Reminds me a lot of Valentino’s DBIR Yellow Dream, which I’m a big fan of. It’s a tad bit sweeter and more fabric softener smelling, but I’m really happy to have this. It’s a great scent for every day and layers well with all my other rose frags I’ve tried it with. No, it’s not the most interesting or mind blowing fragrance, but there’s always a place for scents like this. Especially when I take a moment to remember that not all my office mates are frag heads and my more interesting scents can be offensive to them lol. Bottom line, I think this is a great option if you like musky sweet, yet soft rose scents. This isn’t a fresh rose, but it’s got that fabric softener, well, softness, to it. I’m a fan. I’m ready to try the others now!

This is the best In the collection in my opinion! The blue version of this almost smells like fabric softener which don’t get me wrong is nice but nowhere near as versatile and sexy as this scent is. It’s giving creamy roses mixed with musk. Very addictive scent! It still has that clean almost soap like smell like the other perfumes in the collection but not as strong. Whenever I spray this scent it has a comforting feel to it

This hits a sweet spot I almost never get: a bright, girly rose with a light cotton‐candy lift, clean musk that never goes laundry, no fake fruit turning woody, and a soft sweetness that actually holds together on my picky skin. For someone whose skin chemistry exposes every shortcut, Candy Rose is one of the few sweet roses that stays true, stays pretty, and stays itself, and that’s why I love it.

I ADORE this scent! It is my first fresh/clean scent! I love how the rose is not overpowering, it just compliments the sweet powdery base scent. I do not get much amber or citrus from this, but I LOOOOVE this and the blue one.

I really like it, it’s an easy reach perfume for me. Suitable for any season, and any occasion, it’s not loud and over powering. Its candy note is not overly sweet or cloying, it’s quite a lovely & fun perfume for me.

I quite like this. It's a sweet, oriental, musky rose. A good place to start for people exploring middle eastern fragrances.

Smells like fresh laundry that was laundered with fabric softener. I’m not usually a fan of fresh laundry scents, but I’m really enjoying this one. It’s a pretty, pink, light floral, and as it dries down the musk comes through more and more, a very fresh and clean musk, not “dirty” or animalic at all. It reminds me of when I visited Mexico years ago and camped on the beach, there was a lady in town who did laundry for $5 a bag, this smells like the fresh, clean, neatly folded laundry we’d get back. I use unscented products myself as I have sensitive skin, so when I do my own laundry it doesn't have a scent. Hmm maybe that’s why I’m normally not a fan of laundry scents, I’ve broken out in hives from scented laundry products one to many times. Anyway lucky for me I didn't have any ill effects to the products she used and getting everything back all clean and folded was such a huge luxury so it's a nice memory despite initially being a bit stressed, wondering if I was going to wind up itching my skin off.

Okay, so the name of this perfume is absolutely misleading. This is not a candy perfume, nor is it a gourmand with roses. It’s a musky, soapy, rose fabric softener. It’s very clean, fresh, and a little sexy while remaining signature-worthy. There’s a slight oriental undertone hidden in the background. It’s sweet but mature and feminine, making it versatile for anyone who wears it. I believe this is suitable for any time and for any woman or girl out there. It kind of smells like a perfume I had a long time ago, maybe Zara Black Amber, the one in the fat square bottle, or Red Vanilla. I’m not sure which one. I feel like it’s a classic, pleasant, fresh scent. It’s very beautiful, but it’s not me, and I don’t know when or even if I’d wear this. 💔

I’ve had this for about 10 months and it sat for most of that time. I didn’t really like it at first as it started out too soapy. It’s still soapy but in a toned down more wearable way. It’s sweet and musky but not candy sweet, more similar to fruit/floral sweet. I’m not sure if anyone else is picking up jasmine and/or patchouli, but it certainly pulls that way on my skin and could be attributing to the slight animalic aspect I’m picking up, but soft and warm (cozy?), not dirty. It’s not a love but I like it well enough especially for a cheapie (my favorite kind of perfume finds) I paid under $20 USD for. I’m going to experiment layering it with body mists and lotions to see if I can turn a like in to really like/love.

It's a rosey (English rose type), soapy, semi-sweet perfume (sweet but not sickeling sweet, even tho it says 'candy'). The name says it all, really. It's clean, flowery, creamy (like lotion), not too sweet. It's youthfull, but not teen, more like early twenties type. It's like wearing a newly washed, soft sweather. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it's a nice comfy scent. After some time I notice it is not changing much. So quite linear.

This smells Ajwad without the heavy cedar vibe. I could be disappointed because I was expecting something different, but I happen to love Ajwad so much that I’m excited to have more of the same vibe and if things don’t change as far as macerating after a while I think it would be safe to layer the two.

There is not much to say about this except that it's a nice sweet floral. I like it. As someone whose signature scent used to be Mon Paris (a long time ago) this perfume didn't instantly remind me of that, but I see a bit of resemblance after it dries down

This is pink and very sweet, like strawberry candy-scented dryer sheets. It's a little more ambery than I usually go for, but I'm really warming up to it. My mom says it reminds her of springtime. Plus, it lasts easily 12 hours.

After macerating for god knows how long, this has become a beautiful light strawberry with something like a musky fennel at the base. It's warm but airy, unique but clean. And the price point is basically unbeatable.

Amazing for it’s price! to me this smells very similar to “Good Girl Blush” by Carolina Herrera. It’s a very floral, clean and a sweet scent. Love to use this when i’m freshly showered.

Musk Candy Rose by Lattafa isn’t the sugary rose gourmand the name suggests. The “candy” note is more of a citrus hard candy, softly lingering behind a clean, soapy rose. Not quite pink Dove soap, but perfect for layering after using Dove in the shower. I reach for it after bathing or before bed. It's comforting, effortless, and wearable year-round for any occasion. It wasn't really my type of fragrance so I gave it to my mom and she enjoys it very much. It smells lovely on her. And she gets compliments every time she wears it. 5/10 Sillage 6/10 Longevity 6/10

Smells to me like a fabric softener sheet. It's floral and fruity with innocuous musk. For me the "rose" top note smells more like lily and jasmine, and on me the "candy" is just a non-descript sweetness. I feel like this fragrance is going to be at its best when layered with something more interesting. The price is certainly friendly, and this is a pretty safe choice for everyday wear to work or school, as there isn't anything disagreeable or difficult about it. Overall, she's kind of pretty but lacks personality.

Wahhhhhhh! I wish that I got the clean, fabric softener, laundry type scent! I get a strong incense mixed with a screechy rose. I've had it mascerating for a couple of months. I adore the other three in this line and don't want to have to sell it as I love having the set lol. Will let it sit some more and hope that I get to smell what everyone is smelling. I adore the packaging. So cute!

I believed the hype on this one, was expecting sweet creamy, soapy rose... nope, it's a tart rose and OUD, no candy and very little musk... dries down to sour oud that last for days on fabrics... if you don't like oud I wouldn't recommend musk candy rose : ( Btw it smells nothing like you're the one from bbw that one is rosy, strawberry goodness : )

I agree with many others here, this perfume is absolutely laundry (floral) scented on the opening. It dries down to a rose soap like scent, which I wasn’t keen on at first but I did like the clean/fresh vibe. I imagine this would be a lovely post shower perfume. However, once it had melded with my skin for a couple of hours, it completely changed! The sweeter element came through and the rose was no longer dominating or soap like. I wouldn’t say it smelt of candy but more so jam like, akin to a rose Turkish Delight. I was very pleasantly surprised by the longevity, it’s about 12 hours later and I can still smell it on my skin. I doubt I am projecting the scent still but for the price point, I’m very happy with this perfume 🌹

Fresh clean powdery sweet candied rose. It's a powerhouse. Definitely a gourmand freshie if that makes any sense. It's heavy on the clean soapy musk (think pink Dove soap) that comes off powdery and heavy on the sweet candied rose, more candied than it is rose. The rose is not a mature rose. I have a problem with longevity on most perfumes and this one projects and lasts at least 8 hours actively projecting and then after that I can still smell it on my skin for another few hours

Rose is not my favorite note....I don't hate it, but don't love it either. I admit, when it's done right; it could be so beautiful. This is the case with this perfume....I was not going to get it and just get the others because of the rose note. Good thing I did get it; it's a jammy rose; sweet, candy like not as musky as the others from this line. A great perfume for everyday wear; great value.

A mature and stronger version of Dove Pink/Rosa to my olfactory senses. It smells very fresh powdery and heavy rose on first spray, then the dry down you get the rose, I detest and incense note, and ambery musk. I have this one and the poudree one. This is more of a mature sexy musk as opposed to the blue one which is more clean/childlike and fresh. This has a warmth and depth to it.

sweet soapy musky rose kind of scent. on my skin, this doesnt project as jammy rose, just sweet citrus - rose. soapy clean and easy to wear for everyday kind of fragrance.

I was pleasantly surprised by this scent. It reminds me of the og pink dove bar soap but a little more floral and sweeter!
