Musk Salama

This was a blind buy as I like musk and clean perfumes. Musk Salama would not disappoint you, it best description is Oud Musk. Some comments state that it smells like men shower products and they aren’t wrong. However, the dry down is less intense, and creates a fresh shower smell. This perfume could be a perfect base as well as a great first layer, it’s literally clean!! So if you want to make it more unique, any, and I swear, any flower or fruit or a pure sweet scent will make it delicious. I recommend it as a blind buy for people who enjoy the cold fresh shower smell. Most surprisingly, my warm skin always messes up the fresh smells, but not this one. It should be used moderately as this is not a type you have to keep applying 10 times. It will make your clothes smell “crisp”.

I love this musk. It's very clean..like dryer sheets verging on a masculine cologne..could be unisex really. Love the bottle and that it's cloudy. It has a bit of sweet citrus freshness. In comparison to Rouat Al Musk..this is a fresher take on clean musk. Rouat Al Musk is more like a animalic musk that verges on clean like a clean sweet fruity shampoo musk. If you love musks and smelling clean and fresh they are both inexpensive and lovely and when you mix them both together they create a new scent that is perfect layered together. I wanted something different than all my usual gourmands and I didn't know if I would like the cleaner fragrance scents but I love them a lot for their simplicity. Sometimes I need a change and I like clean girl musks.

This is the better musk offering from Lattafa. I tried Khalis musk and Musk mood, same juice different bottles. This one however has more going on. There's an aquatic note in it and a bit of citruses, which gives it a slight masculine feel. Lasts for 7 to 8 hours. The base notes here are way off! Moscow mule? oud? really? absolutely no oud or boozy note here. I don't know where the Fragratica admins got that from. The notes on Parfumo are a better representation of the scent: Top Notes: Citrus notes, Floral notes, Powdery notes Heart Notes: Amber, Vanilla, Spicy notes Base Notes: Musk, Rose

It’s incredible- such a comforting clean smell. It smells as if you had expensive sheets laundered with expensive soap. Cozy, clean, high quality. The juice is cool too, I don’t have any fragrances with the white cloudy juice besides this one and it looks beautiful with the silver accents on the bottle. An absolute winner for me!

Love at first sniff! Soft, warm, cozy musk that's suitable for both day and night. Could see myself wearing this all year round. Fresh. I don't get the rose note or the spices, to me it's very much soft musk, cashmere, white woods and powdery. Would say safe blind buy if you like musk!

Seriously great if you are into clean, fresh out of the shower, laundry like scents. For $20.00CAD - this is a love. I love the milky, glittery juice as well. Lasts forever and the bottle is super pretty. LOVE!!

I believe this could be a dupe of Starry Nights Montale or at least its drydown.

My purchase of this fragrance was definitely a 'Cee chronicles made me buy it, plus Georgette's fragrance world has it in her collection' and I was not at all disappointed by my purchase. Having tried different clean musk scents and having been left unimpressed because of their forgettability, this fragrance was a welcome find. Warning, this is not a 'white musk' fragrance. To my nose, this fragrance is composed of two notes- slightly animalic musk and woods (there is some cedarwood in there). It projects well within the first 2 hours with very strong silage before it settles to cling a little closer to one's clothing (P.S. I wore this in winter with face masks on). It is linear in its offering- musk + woods is what you will experience from spray to dry down. Likewise, it is a unisex fragrance (it leans a little masculine in the opening). This is not what I would call a clean white T-shirt fragrance, it's more of a vertical striped crisp shirt. My only issue with this perfume is the bottle. Addendum: It was my favourite musk and I contemplated a re-buy until I bought Ajmal's Musk Silk Supreme EDP. A less animalic musk with a unisex ambergris and lovely muguet white floral notes. Reminiscent of the 90s.

I like it. Brand new bottle, bought on Joma for $13. It is masculine leaning though because of the woodiness. I recommend for men. It is soapy and laundryesque, but I don’t smell anything animalic, old lady or baby powder so if you’re bothered by those types of musks, this maybe the one for you. There’s no offensive notes to my nose either, no harsh oud or leather here. Some may crave more sweetness here, but I’m impressed. For this price, it’s worth a blind buy for you or as a gift. The packaging and bottle are really nice as well. It’s not a love or something I see myself reaching for often, but I may end up giving it to one of the men in my family for Christmas. I also see this being a great layering scent. I may layer it with BBW If You Musk. Give myself Clean Girl unisex vibes. As I smell it, it’s kind of giving Jovan Musk vibes. My ex boyfriend wore it in the late 90’s and 2000’s and I Ioved it on him. I haven’t smelled it in years, but that’s the vibe I’m getting! Edit: It also has shavingcream/barbershop vibes so may be too masculine leaning for some or just not for everyone, but no biggie because I think it would not be hard to find someone who loves the smell or even the bottle.

I blind bought it because I love musk, but this perfume is the confirmation why musk is used as base note rather than the primary note. It can 'bump' fragrances up and give them longevity but on it's own it feels very ... nude. It is a super intimate scent for me, absolutely zero projection. It is a perfume to wear to bed or as a base for combining with other fragrance. I think it's beautiful - musky (duh) and powdery, but also a bit masculine (in a good way). The packaging and the bottle are stunning. PS. I don't get any Moscow Mule from it lol.

Just got compliments. My own boss and female coworker ordered Musk Salama. Its crazy. Simple fragrance with clean musk.

Its a good musk scent but dont expect anything Amazing Its unisex and wearable both in the heat or during winter

This is earthy, woody, leathery and musky. It’s quite masculine to my nose. I’m not a huge fan. Husband and sons like it though.

Animalic musk... I’m not a huge fan.

Love the notes but it has a very very strong metal smell on my skin. I had it before with Chanel mademoiselle but not at the extent to which I have it for this one. Too bad because it seems to be an amazing perfume

What a horrible smell, just a caustic chemical smell.nothing pleasant at all.

I have the aerosol spray of this, and it smells like mens shower products or like a men’s standard deodorant scent. A bit spicy, a bit aquatic, but smells clean. It’s a nice basic scent that would be suitable for men looking for a clean scent (unless you like this as a woman)- I can’t comment on the longevity because I don’t have the actual eau de parfum.

I don't know what y'all got and if I got a fake or something This smells crispy, citric with very sharp almost fougere or herbal notes to me. It smells more like these typically "men 3 in 1" shower gels than anything else I get zero musk, zero sweetness and definitely nothing powdery about this
