Musk So Poudrée

Obsessed. Period. I’ve never been a fan of Middle Eastern fragrances—too cloying, too spicy, too headache-inducing. But Musk So Poudrée by Lattafa? Game-changer. This little gem is soft, musky, and gently sweet—like a rose latte, minus the cream. It’s floral without being old-fashioned, powdery without being suffocating. I mostly pick up rose and peony, maybe even a touch of sweet pea if you sniff deep enough. Best part? It’s safe. No nausea, no overpowering blast like I got from Sakeena or Mayar. Just a light, feminine aura that works for both fresh-out-of-the-shower mornings and cozy bedtimes. My only gripe? Longevity. For something with 80% alcohol, it fades quicker than expected—I find myself reapplying every 3 to 4 hours. Still, I love it. And I never say that about an Arab perfume. Ever.

As a first time mom I was inspired to own a powdery scent and blind bought it 2-3 months ago. I tried it once I reserved it and I was not much impressed, honestly evenly an ordinary baby powder smells better than this, so I forgot this bottle till today. I sprayed some today, before going out with my little one and I can feel the difference... after drying out on my skin I can smell sugary, coconuty powder, today is little Bit windy and I could feel a soft scent veil around me. It took me awhile to realise that it from me. Well, I will use it more regularly.

Well I blind bought this and I LOVE it! The presentation is beautiful for the price. The scent is exactly what I was hoping for. I read some people say this would be a summer fragrence? I am not feeling that. More cozy fall, winter. I think you can get away wearing even in a medical setting with one spray. Does remind me of a less complex version of NR poudree- have and love- may even layer them...You have to be seeking a powdery, clean and less complex scent.

This is such a soft and cozy scent. The opening is a bit citrusy but it dries down to this sweet and really comforting scent. Would've been on my top 3 if it wasn't for the woody notes. It bothers me a bit. But for the price, it's amazing!

A delicately sweet, creamy powdery scent. It reminds me a lot of Mauboussin Une Historie de Femme. But it's softer, more like Nivea or Dove cream with hint of baby powder... A very pleasant scent. Cozy vibe scent

It would be perfect if there were more fragrances like this on the market. A perfect baby powder scent, very light with good longevity and average projection. A perfume that I would buy all my life!

I love this one ALMOST as much as the Candy rose from the same line. It smells like a sweet baby powder! Its not very woody or amber to me, just very powdery and fresh.

Smells just like fabric softener! My favorite scent to wear on days when I don't know what to wear. Perfect in all weather for all events.

I've just picked up my parcel with this scent and I quite like it! I was looking for an inoffensive, calm, clean scent to use at home or days when I just want to smell nice without anything special going on. And by my first impression this one is a perfect match to be. It has a bit sharp and chemical notes in the opening (I guess it should've been flower notes), but it goes away very fast and dries down into clean, soft, a bit powdery (not so sharp) scent. For me it dries down into a classic Dove products scent. The packaging and box is outstanding for the price. This is my first arabic perfume, I've heard a lot about the price point of those, and it's all true. A beautiful box with gold foiling, embossing and lodgement inside. The bottle itself is very neat-done, logo on the bottle is not just printed, but made with on a plate. And the milky liquid inside looks very unusual. If you're looking for a nice, clean inoffensive scent for everyday use, you should give it a shot. UPD. Unfortunately my first impression was deceptive. I don't know if my perspective has changed about this fragrance or the fragrance itself macerated, but all I can smell now is very retro-powdery clean soap, and it is hard to wear it all day.

A bit disappointed at first spray because I had a sour note that didn't repeat later (which is a "fault" I've found in another Lattafa scents). To me it has a milky start. I can smell a sort of lemon note too - that balances the powder talc and adds freshness. It's mainly sweet soft flowers and talc powder. I definitely get a face cream smell (like the old Neutrogena smell) and a powerful nice talc note. Not unpleasant. Very clean and powdery- milky. A relaxing fragrance which hasn't an invadent sillage - it's more towards a skin scent. I wouldn't pay it more than 20 because the bottle is beautiful but the projection is little. It doesn't work more than my son's talc baby alcohol free fragrance.I like it but I underline it's very normal and (baby) talc classic

If you like clean and simple fragrances you'll probably like this one. When I gave them to my family and friends to smell they usually said that it smells like a nice soap :D. For me it smells like soap and powder which gives a little bit of a vintage vibe. I usually don't like vintage perfume but I don’t mind it here as it is not that noticeable. The scent remains the same until it stops being noticeable, i.e. after a few hours on the skin and a little longer on clothes. At first it is a little bit floral, later I can smell amber, but still it is mostly a powdery soap scent. Longevity and sillage is really good for this price, people around me can smell it even after couple hours. It is a basic, cozy everyday perfume.

Smells like sweet baby powder. Dries down fresh and clean. Really quite pretty. I thought I would never wear this, but sometimes an old fashioned baby powder scent really hits the spot! Longevity is about 6 hrs, but after an hour it's mostly a skin scent. Like another reviewer said, this layers well with tropical fruity fragrances. Anything that's too sharp and fruity for my tastes, I'll throw this on under it and they play so nicely together. A current favorite layering combo is Musk So Poudree with Anna Sui Mellow Yellow.

As with most Lattafas I was skeptical on first spray. After letting it sit for a few weeks this is a very solid like. It's a perfect post-gym, post-shower, lazy-day scent. If you're a fan of powdery 80s musks (Baby Soft, Jovan, Bonne Bell, etc.) this is worth a try. It's not a powder bomb, it's more of a doll-like powder. If you wanted to love Teint de Neige but felt it was too bombastic, this is for you.

floral, musky baby powder. the juice color really represents the scent for this bottle. as day goes by, it does mellow out to be less floral, more powder forward. It is very pleasant and not intrusive, a safe choice for blindbuy for those loving baby powder type scent. Of course, it was the bottle and the milky juice that makes me curious about this one.

I have had this perfume for almost a year. this is powdery, very powdery, clean white-floral musky scent. However, as it has been sitting on my shelf, the musk became more screechy and the fragrance is turning into an old, musty musk. can give off grandma vibes...

This is a very clean scent. It is a really poudery perfume that is close to the skin. A very faint fruity smell. But mostly it smells like fresh and clean and from the shower. Kind of soapy so if you like that you will like this :-)

Smells like florals and musk but mostly musk. Reminds me of how you smell after stepping out of a shower after using a bunch of essential oils and soaps. It’s pretty basic but it’s an easy scent to reach for.

"Musk so Powdery" indeed. Slightly soapy, sweet and inoffensive musky-powdery-white floral scent. Clean, hydrated, smooth skin and after shower energy. Quite unique and intresting.

If you like powdery and feminine you can't go wrong, also the bottle looks fine af

Blind buy because I was looking for a powdery scent that make me smell like I'd just showered and this was dirt cheap. The first spray though... goodness... that was something. Later the true scent started to emerge but still dissapointed me a bit. I was hoping for blue baby powder and instead I got pink old lady powder, if you get what I mean (I sense some rose there in the base?) It has grown on me though, and I love using it after shower and spraying it in my bathrobe. Its also good for layering with other clean and powdery scents. If you're not a HUGE powdery lover, don't come near this.

Ok, first I have to disclose, I really feel an intense dislike for baby powder scents. I really expected to hate this fragrance but I don’t. To me, it smells like a lilac powder. It’s actually one of those fragrances that would be good for a child like Tartine et chocolat Ptisenbon, after a bath and off the bed. It’s very soft and clean smelling. Would I wear it? Nope. But I do think if you have a little girl, and want to keep her out of your fragrance collection, she’d like this. I can’t think of any other occasion I would use this.

It might be the amber note but this smells too strong to be 'clean' which is what I was expecting. The original Khalis Musk is a lot lighter and perfect for everyday and clean wear. This one lasts long as well but has an intensity that is a bit disturbing to an extent, it takes away from the freshness. I don't dislike it, but I'm not partial to it either.

i was expecting this perfume to feel more elegant and melancholic, but it turned out to be a very simple, clean, and quite soapy scent. i don't dislike it, though. it's actually quite cozy. i just wish it were more unique and didn't remind me of like a thousand other things i've smelled before.

I agree about the dove smell but I think it leans colder. It is not much amber or wood in this. It is also kind of screechy in the opening. I guess it is a basic clean girl smell.

Smells exactly like downy liquid fabric softener, even the colour of liquid kind of matches. It’s super linear but might be good for layering

I’ve tried it several times and never fell in love. It comes thru on its promise, it is powdery, soft, and musky. Just not my cup of tea.

Honestly quite disappointed in this, especially with my previous experiences with Lattafa always being so good. I will admit I didn’t research this fragrance as well as I should have before blind buying, so partially my fault. Based on the name I expected it to be more musky with a clean and elegant vibe. Instead, it’s just a basic soapy, baby powdery smell. If you’ve blind bought it and are regretting your purchase, I suggest layering it with tropical fruity fragrances, as that does seem to balance it out. If powdery and soapy isn’t your thing, I’d skip this fragrance.

the bottle design is so pretty and I was surprised that it’s actually the juice itself that’s really milky in color and not the bottle, but unfortunately this smells like really old and generic bar soap to me :(

Not sure if my bottle is just off, but I'm not getting gentle, quiet, clean from this at all. Was looking for a powdery replacement for Arquiste Venice Roccoco that wasn't as funky. Got several. Love's Baby Soft (basic, nice, love it) Francesca Bianchi Angel's Dust (beautifully complex, still a pleasant funk but balanced) Then this: So Poudree. It's extremely sour and screechy. It's only been 30 mins so maybe the drydown saves the day but, for now, I'm going to give this away if some poor soul will take it.

What can be more disturbing than Yara? Right - this liquid - looking and smelling like a washing conditioner

As someone who likes to wear perfume to bed after a shower or bubble bath, I love this scent for those nights. It’s also lovely on a rainy spring day. To my nose, I pick up sweet powder, soft musk, amber and airy powdery florals. Smells like clean skin after a shower or the suds on a wet cloth, then getting out and applying baby oil to damp skin and wrapping up in a warm white robe fresh from the dryer. If you like clean, cozy powder scents you will like this.

This one is so Poudree. It does remind me of Narciso Poudree but so much simpler. Of the 4 on this line, it's the muskiest...very much like baby powder. It is a great one to layer with a really sweet or spicy perfume and a powdery note. All of them leave an oily shimmery residue that helps with the longevity; it lasts around 4-5 hours before you have to reapply. Not bad since is really affordable.

I was sent this by mistake when I ordered the purple sugar plum bottle. It is actually very lovely and a strong scent! Powder, musk & alittle sweetness. The powder dominate here. I think it will layer nicely. I will give to mother In law. I’m really enjoying Arab bottles so far 💙 FYI, the bottles are absolutely STUNNING!

Im getting this as a blind buy but oh god the bottle is so ugly I can’t stand to look at it my eyes hurt. Nothing about a BRIGHT BLUE AQUA BOTTLE says powdery :( who thought this was the best color for this..

Can anyone tell me if this has a similar smell powdery lipstick kind of Iris smell,kind of like D.H. [[Dior Homme]] Or D.H.I. [[Dior Homme Intense]]‽? I'm a huge fan of Orris/Iris.
