Najdia Tribute

OG Najdia is a somewhat unimpressive Invictus Aqua/Hawas wannabe. This is an entirely different juice. 80% of this fragrance can be summed up in two words: "violet" and "leather". Yes, there are lovely bits of apple, amber, oud, musk, sandalwood and cedar, but the leather and violet remain from the first sniff to the last whiff. I am not an oud fan, but it is perfectly applied here, enriching the cedar and sandalwood and occasionally providing a waft, but it is very much a team player here. The violet is on the floral end of the spectrum, not the metallic/brittle variety; the leather is soft and smooth, and the amber sweetness makes it feel like a well-worn suede jacket that your father used to wear. If I was the king of the universe, I might ask Lattafa to boost the leather accord's longevity, as it steps back a bit to let violet take center stage at around 2 hours, but this can be forgiven in the name of fragrance evolution. The two hour mark is also where you notice that the somewhat-distinct notes (other than the violet) meld into a unified accord. This projects pretty strongly for the first 90 minutes, then at arm's length for another 90 minutes. 6 sprays on chest and shirt can still be smelled 8 hours later by the wearer and anyone who hugs the wearer. Very impressive for such an inexpensive fragrance. This could be worn by a woman due to the softness of the leather, but it isn't feminine per se. Violet is one of those notes, like iris or lavender, that can be floral without being feminine, and this composition uses it beautifully. This would work for casual, office (with some restraint in spraying), clubbing, and romantic (assuming that your S.O. likes violet), but not so well for formal or rustic/outdoorsy activities. For me, it is a bit heavy for summer, but Fall through Winter, sure. And finally, at the risk of being repetitive, stay far away from this if you don't like violet, because this is a violet beast. If you love violet like I do, however, this is a treat, and extremely blind-buy worthy.

This smells just like lapsang souchong, a variety of black tea that’s smoked over pine wood. Or Imagine dried fruits and flowers put through a smoker for hours. It’s mostly smoke with just hints of florals and I bought this blind without ever seeing the notes and I was completely convinced that this was a tea fragrance, it even has the leaf on the bottle and box. I like this but it’s kinda simple and linear. It needs a touch more sweetness and fruits. I think I’ll try layering it with a patchouli frag or a touch of Bitter Peach. This doesn’t smell anything like Fahrenheit, the only thing kinda close on the “smells like” is Amouage Portrayal Man but that is way more violet forward and Oud in the background. This is primarily a smokey earthy leather with some fruity and floral components.

I actually like this a lot. It's a citrusy fruity leather fragrance. The leather here smells like Velvet oud. It should've been a flanker to that rather than najdia. I think they took Velvet oud, freshened it up with apple and mandarin, toned down the oud, added sandalwood, and kept the same leather note. It should've been called Velvet oud sport. It's a unique scent. It's like a bottle of Orangina spilled on a piece of leather. Some people might not like it. I see this as a signature scent worthy fragrance for 30+ gentlemen. It's quite complex, long lasting, and very affordable.

I bought it at a low price to qualify for free shipping — and I’m so glad I did. I keep coming back to it and really enjoy how it feels on my skin. It lasts for many hours and has moderate projection. It’s a leathery scent, but with a fresh and floral twist, making it casual and perfect for the office or warmer months. I get citrus and ginger in the opening, and in the drydown, it settles into a blend of leather and violet.

Reminds me of Stetson Black but better. I like Stetson Black, I find it has a bit Jolly Rancher candy scent. If you like Stetson Black you should like this. I love the opening that goes away fast to a nice fruity juicy sweet leather suede like scent that leans masculine but barely and could see as a easy unisex fragrance.

I really love this scent although nothing like the other two Nadjia bottles. Strong but smooth oudy/leather smell that is great under the shirt with 2 or 3 sprays and you will get wafts of the lovely warm smell all day.

I wish more major Youtubers would cover this one. Very nice priced banger in my opinion. I love it. I could see this being a all season fragrance day and night. Such a pleasing experience to smell.

The Tribute flanker is much more better than the OG Najdia. Its much closer to L 'eu D 'issey pour homm wood & woods.

Dark, mysterious and very calming. Night time in a bottle with a Middle Eastern vibe. 9/10

This one is very interesting and doesn't smell like anything i smelled... Wondering if it tries to clone something. The opening, If you smell it upclose it's not the best thing, but in air is different, citrusy ozonic and a little dark. As it goes to drydown it becomes smokier, woody and darker, but still with the violet leaves note, which makes a nice balance, makes it a little airy. The sweet notes are not so prominent, but they're there on the background. For me, it's a very nice balance between fresh notes, sweet notes and the heavy notes. The woods here comes burned and animalic 😬 The "balance" from this reminds me of the violet note from Fahrenheit le parfum, coming out through sweet and and woody notes. But it's not even close to Fah, it's just a small vibe I get. Very good performance, strong Sillage in the first hour, moderate after the first. Personally, a winter, spring fragrance.

I will start off by saying that I bought this by accident, I thought I had put the original Najdia in my cart and this showed up. For the first 4 months I did not like this very much. It was a screechy mottled mess, but now that this has had time to sit and develop it is fantastic. It is so warm and cozy, to my nose it reminds me of Eros edp mixed with Fahrenheit but without the Fukboy-gasoline energy... if that makes sense to anyone. All in all a great fall winter fragrance for me, and I am glad I have it in my collection. Performance and projection are well above average (7.5/10)

Reminds me of a toned down opulent oud. It's alright but it does irritate my skin a bit. Would be best for autumn. Lots of lavender. It's as if OG najdia was wanting to be a bit more sophisticated and classy. Edit: in the right conditions, this really smells like the sweeties, Fruitella. I have started to appreciate it more but in autumn the leather really too over and that wasn't great for me. Maybe the bottle has stewed for a bit in that time.

It has nothing to do with og Najdia. Agreed with aliidom86, it's better called Oud Mood Sport. Fresh yet dark and leathery with animalic nuance. Never smell this vibe before. But wait, it reminds me of VC&A Tsar, maybe from their cedar-leather combo.

This to me smells like a sweeter, fresher take on Ombre Leather by Tom Ford. The earthy nuances from OL are almost removed to please the younger or clubbing crowd maybe. Not middle eastern at all imo, just a different all-rounder.

1 years old fragrance is a beast mode. 72H on skin 6H of 1.5meter sillage. The scent to my nose little citrus with a lot of purple flower. First time i like it, but is bought for good leather note :(((

This is a different scent than Najdia. This one has an interesting smell. This perfume has extremely long longevity. Sometimes, you can even smell the perfume even after laundry.

Nice fragrance you can wear to work or a casual setting. Woody scent but not like you’re sitting at a fireplace. You can get it easily for less than $20 on eBay.

Strong, synthetic, with leather, wood, ozone. Simple, after 30 min scent is pretty good. Not the best, there are better fragrances for like 25$

The violet in the opening is outrageously brutal. Dries nicer than it opens as many lattafa fragrances do.

Lighter leather and citrus. Some oud, not much. I like this better than most leather scents. 5/10

[FULL DISCLOSURE: I bought this from a non reputable seller on Amazon, this is not a knock on the fragrance itself as my experience is completely anecdotal] when I first found out about this fragrance I was extremely excited for this juice because it has most of my favorite accords and notes in it (violet leaf, out, leather, guaiac wood, sandalwood and cedar). that being said the bottle I bought seemed to only give me wet leather. literally the scent I get from my atomizer smells like wet leather and nothing else! on top of that I can overspray (6-8 sprays) and the smell will only last about an hour on my skin. this can either A) be my skins chemistry mixed with the juice or B) the juice is either old OR I bought a fake bottle. I have a few leather frags in my collection (santal 33, kilian's Dark Lord, Cedrat Boise, etc.) so I know how leather mixes with my skin so I'm leaning to the latter option that I unfortunately just bought an old or fake bottle. I won't be purchasing anymore frags from amazon and instead will put my trust in eBay. Other reviewers say this is a violet leaf and leather bomb, that's what I was looking forward to. Update: gave the bottle away. It wasn’t for me

Nose Note #73 Fahrenheit meets LV Imagination It's Fahrenheit with honey and linden. The gasoline note is not so present and neither is leather. I love Fahrenheit. This is actually not bad, but I don't see it as a clone that much. Try Maison Alhambra Fortnight or Fragrance World Renheit. This one is just an interesting twist in the OG, but at the same time there's something I don't like about it. This linden feel, something flowery that's trying to be the violet leaf from the Fahrenheit, but doesn't get there. It may as well be the real violet, i don't know, because this flowery thing feels so natural, it's like you are inhaling pollen Altogether nice. Haven't had a single miss from Lattafa so far Upd.: Now that I've worn Fahrenheit Le Parfum a couple of times - you can definately say that this is more Le Parfum than the original Fahrenheit.

stand-alone, this fragrance is somewhat glaring. the violet leaf and leather notes are clashing. i feel either one have to be softened in favour of the other, otherwise it's rather dissonant and off-putting. the violet leaf note here is not as elegant as in Fahrenheit, or Narciso Rodriguez or MB Intense. it's more sweet, cloying and juicy. i layer this with MB Intense though - the result is what i enjoy more than either of the fragrances alone. MB Intense is more of a safe, suit type of scent, while Najdia Tribute is daring, like Nasomatto Duro mixed in half with violet leaf. together they balance each other out pleasantly.

Smells like a wood/leather orientated Montale that's been layered with Fahrenheit. I love Montale stuff in general, and I adore Fahrenheit, but I'm not sure with this one. I'll leave this here as a reminder to myself to come back after some maceration and wearings. Insane performance though, I'll say that right now. I put two sprays on my arm when it DPD dropped it off and it's still wafting at me a good 9 hours later. I sprayed L'Homme by Rochas on the other arm about two minutes afterwards, that was gone in an hour. £14 on Notino UK right now with the discount applied. Almost giving it away.

Smells cheap arabic turkish rose water, i think its the saffron fault. Dry down makes it better with more smoke and leather. But im okey with it i think this works best in winter and outside.

It has nothing to do with the notes listed in here. Just synthetic lemon here. Opening is still a bit better but dry down is yuck. The only fragrance i had to wash off of my hand. That bad. Ignore it. Even though it is cheap. Save you some bucks at least. In my 110 bottles this is the money i wasted. PS. In the dry down smells like a when you blow a burning match stick. Avoid it.

I think it is a beautifully crafted scent. Its not an Aromatic fougere like Fahrenheit. It resembles with it a little bit but not the same thing. This is a fragrance for a modern mature men. The opening is zesty with a clear hint of Violet and spices in the background. The gasoline smell is because of the peculiar violet. It is blended pretty well with the citruses and ginger. there is a little tart sweetness up top. the combination of ginger and saffron is giving the warmth right from the start. earlier on, the ginger is punching the citruses and the violet. later on Saffron is leading the spice trail with the mix of woods and leather. from half an hour mark, the violet, woods and leather take on the center stage. With time, it gets leathery, creamy, bitter with a presence of violet. It is the 6th hour and i can easily smell my self. I think it is an 8+ hour fragrance for sure.

Beautiful. I got a free decant with another perfume I ordered. Found it to be excellent. The main note is leather. The fragrance is not like fine finished leather but the rough leather you find in belts etc. But there is also some fruity floral vibe. Very long lasting and has good projection. One of the good accidental finds.

Juice starts with citrus and then turn to fragrance similar to branch of rose plant. Longevity is great. Best for winter or night.

Nice leathery scent that worth more than its price.
