#382 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I purchased two Nishane frags back in July. Ani and Hacivat. I haven't opened the Hacivat yet, but I tried out the Ani immediately and it was love at first sniff. I actually purchased the Nasheet at about the same time, but had no idea it was hyped as a dupe of Ani, and following the standard advice on Middle Eastern frags, I left it on the shelf for a few months, just unboxed it last week, and tried it for the first time today. I immediately got out the Ani and did a side-by-side to see if Nasheet was really a dupe of Ani as I had forgotten what Ani smells like. It's not remotely an Ani dupe, missing a bunch of notes, so I'm not kicking myself for having dropped $100+ for 50 ml of Ani. Which by the way is a fantastic scent! That out of the way, Nasheet is a fine fragrance in its own right and deserves your interest. If you like Nutmeg, which I do, you'll like this. But it's a boatload of nutmeg, so I'd start with a single spritz. I certainly didn't need more. Most of the Lattafa scents I've trialed (this is the 23rd), all sold as EDPs, but about half have been EDTs in performance. I'd say this is solidly an EDP, but, if you're looking for the performance of Ani, few scents offer that. In fact I would only put MFK Grand Soir and Akro Bake on the same level as Nishane Ani as far as endurance, as all three are solid skin scents for 24 hours. This scent easily made to lunch and beyond, eight hours of skin scent till I showered , which I consider excellent, with moderate sillage for about 2. The fact that one or two people get poor performance from any scent is not a deal breaker for me. If you buy a lot of fragrances, and this year I've purchased at least 550, you will on occasion get a poor quality bottle. I've had that happen with a wide variety of fragrances from different houses high and low. With an estimated 600 million bottles produced each year you have to expect quality control to fail sooner or later. But this bottle of Nasheet is a solidly strong fragrance, better than a lot of EDPs I've gotten from non-Middle Eastern producers, and I'd gladly buy it again. At a delightful $17 bucks I think it's really, really underpriced. And it's not like you're risking the crown jewels with a blind buy here.

I am really fascinated by note pyramid of Ani and I cannot really afford myself a bottle so been looking for a dupe for a long time. Recently got to try Nasheet and I am happy with how it smells. I get sort of minty vanilla feel in the opening, almost passing off as peppermint note, which is exactly what i would believe if sniffing blind. Develops beautifully with a slight citrusy zesty and fresh spicy accords, keeping that vanilla backbone. That being said, my biggest gripe with this rather lovely fragrance is the performance. This may just be the weakest Lattafa I have tried yet and I own a dozen atleast. It just vanished in less than an hour, which I believe was me going nose-blind to it, but down 3-4 hours I could faintly smell it back, but it was as weak as a fragrance could ever be. I do not think there is any projection whatsoever past that 45 mins to an hour at start. I would still buy a full bottle anyway becuase I adore how this smells, will keep it for maceration and update the review if the performance miraculously improves. UPDATE: I take back my words, this is definitely not the weakest Lattafa, it is quite decent in performance, tried again and it did last on my skin for 5-6 hours and I could smell it on my shirt the next day, albeit softly. Granted its not the best Ani clone in terms of performance, but I prefer this in terms of smell, maybe this also makes it usable in a little warmer weather since I freaking love this DNA. I think given time it would be a decent average or slightly above average performer.

Have this fragrance for about 2 months now... I think it needs more time to macerate... The main thing that annoys me about this is that it lasts a long time, but doesn't project at all... moreover, if you spray it around your neck or on your chest - you go nose blind to it... Had this on my hand and went into a fragrance store to try Ani side by side with it... Ani is different in the opening, but as it dries down they smell the same.. I am talking about smelling them back and forth and having a hard time telling them apart.. Ani projects more - that's a fact.. The thing is that if I overspray this (14 sprays and up) I can get a nice scent cloud around me.. Another thing is that if you overspray this you will leave a wonderful scent train behind you... Even with the slight performance issues, I don't think it is worth buying the real deal because the smell with this one is very close (especially if you leave it for a few weeks to macerate after the first sprays) - here Ani is about 250$/100ml and Nasheet is about 20$/100ml I even got a back-up bottle of this... I will get back with some new mentions after a few months because I think this will be a good scent event on summer nights Hope this helps! Cheers!

Nasheet is a unisex fragrance that slightly leans masculine. This is a vanilla that is spicy, woody and aromatic. Nasheet opens with a prominent ginger accord which makes it zingy. As it dries down,vanilla becomes more present and the nutmeg makes an appearance. The vanilla in this fragrance has that same herbal like smell that is present in Guess Seductive Noir!!! At this point it stays linear. If you are a Jamaican, you can get an idea of what it smells like by imagining a creamy porridge with some ginger added in. Lasting power could be better but I layer this with a fragrance oil inspired by Ani and that seems to extend the wear significantly. This is a love for me! I live in the tropics and I have no problem wearing this in the heat as it's not too sweet. I have never sampled Nishane Ani before so unfortunately I'm not able to compare it to that but the fragrance oil dupe smells the same. Update 11/21/2024: This has gotten sweeter, smoother and less aromatic. I love this even more now ☺️

Don't trust the note breakdown of a clone fragrance because it could be misleading, like this one, just figure out what fragrance this cloning of. I've never smell Ani before but I do get the spicy citrusy opening and the sweetness vanilla dry down, like everyone described Ani. On it's own, it's a great fragrance, especially considering how cheap it is (I pay $15 for a 100ml size bottle), comparing it to Ani which could go up to $200+ for a 100ml size bottle. In terms of the performance, this last 6-7 hours on my skin with moderate projection, which is okay. Actually it isn't great, considering this is a sweeter DNA but, it's not bad either considering the price and the smells. But because it isn't beastly performed fragrance, you could possibly wear this on the hotter weather because some people actually like to rock sweet fragrance on the hotter day, like me. Overall, great stuff especially for the price.

I'm seriously obsessed with this fragrance! It immediately reminded me of Meharées L'Erbolario, which is also one of my favorites. I got a travel spray of Ani but it broke in the mail :( But the box smelled amazing!) I'm just waiting for the replacement to get a full wear. I also got Spectre Ghost and Satwaa. Ghost is also very close to Nasheet (and Ani once I give it a full wear to compare). Satwaa has a bit of a cologne smell when first sprayed. I'm loving all of these at the moment. I've been testing all of these for longevity but in the North East it has been so dry inside with this winter weather absolutely nothing is sticking to me no matter what I do to extend a fragrance. So I'll be testing as the weather changes. It's a warm, comforting spicy scent and I immediately thought it smelled more expensive than it is.

Finally, it’s on Fragrantica. I’ve had a hit and miss relationship with Lattafa recently (more so with their Maison Alhambra TF line), but I’ll say this - This is probably the closest clone I’ve had the pleasure of wearing. It’s almost a dead ringer for Nishane’s Ani. Warm, intoxicating woods, resins & vanilla on a budget. Fantastically blended. Decent projection (4-5 sprays = more than arms length, 6+ is a room filler). Easily a good 7-8 hours off a handful. Yes, it’s nowhere near as potent as Ani and it doesn’t quite have the depth with the lack of pachouli, but I’m sure there’s vanilla in Nasheet that isn’t listed. For $59AUD, you won’t be disappointed. This is a steal. In Lattafa’s top 5, IMO. Back up bottle worthy, too.

As I taking it out from the box, the first spray is very citrus heavy, it's like a synthetic scented bug killer spray... But I know I should not be afraid and let myself fooled by first impression, this is an Arabic fragrance, so I let it calm down, and there it is, a pleasant citric sandalwood appears. The smokiness is faint, but this also needs maceration to shine in it's best light. Time will tell. It's nothing I ever haved before, I can't stop sniffing my hand. I'm so used to the flowers and fruits and gourmand, but this is on another level. A mature, smooth, kinda outdoorsy, walk in the forest and sitting by the campfire type of scent. Perfectly unisex!! I come back with the performance and maceration updates later.

Nasheet has been sitting in my collection for a while. I got it in the winter and thought that it was a "weak", timid perfume. I stuck it in the back and now pulled it out in the middle of summer. I don't know if it's maceration or "the right season" but this perfume is gorgeous in 85-90F weather. Feels like a lemony vanilla summer perfume. Blooms so much more in this temperature. Now, I also found Guerlain Shalimar Souffle (and Intense) to be better in spring/summer. Similar vibes but not a dupe. I might be unusual but if you feel the same, you might also enjoy Nasheet in the summer. The longevity is around 4-6hrs with soft projection.

This smells so damn good! Creamy spicy, woody, typically earthy patchouli. I also smell cardamom and nutmeg with the creaminess of sandalwood. The frankincense here is slightly sweet. I don’t know Ani, never smelled it, but I guess I’m pretty satisfied with Nasheet at the moment. Edit: after wearing it for a couple of times, I realized that Nasheet reminds me of Angel and its flanker Angel Muse, the same earthy woody patchouli tone. *After owning it for one year and wearing it occasionally, I realized there is this citrusy (more like bergamot) sensation in the beginning, which I don’t mind.

Beautiful, nuanced, deepened vanilla with woods, soft spices and slight smoke. Quite a compliment magnet crowd pleaser, while still feels distinct and rather luxurious. Satisfies the Ani craving perfectly. After 12 hours, I still enjoy traces of it when my hair moves. Nasheet is one of my favourite blind buys of the year, it is just so rewarding. 💛 Update: Its sillage is actually nuclear, not just it fills a room, but someone in a huge night club tracked me down to ask me what this expensive cake incense smell is on me, because it actually still lingers on the other dancefloor. Damn. o_O'

I have been playing with this for a few days and so far so good. I get about 9 hours of wear from my bottle, but mine was produced 3/2023! So it had been sitting for 18 months before I received it, so I think it explains the longevity. It’s an interesting lemony yet, not overly sweet with ginger that spices it up just a little, the ginger is well rounded and not overpowering. Imagine a vanilla cookie with a lil lemon zest and ginger, so pretty. I was doing my mom’s hair and she could smell me from the start until we finished and she loved it told me it smells edible. 100% would recommend

First Lattafa I ever bought (for like 20 bucks) and the best one in my opinion. I can no longer handle most Lattafa perfumes as I find them too synthetic but this smells much more high quality and refined. It is complex and rich and long-lasting. I still find it super similar to Nishane Ani, which I also own, but this one has some different incense and woody nuances which I enjoy as well. That being said I'm saying this after having the bottle for over a year, so this might be down to the maturation period. Still you can't beat this for the price and quality.

This is gonna be MAGICAL this fall/winter! I am a 58 year old woman and I own over 300 fragrances. I enjoy woods/ouds n smoke in the fall and winter. Santal 33, Angel's Share, Sheik, Oud Mood, By the Fireplace. This is in that smokey spicey realm. I didn't like this one first spray. It reminded me of Robitussin cough syrup. But, once it dried, it took on a whole other scent. I can't wait to revisit this in 5 or 6 months in the fall/winter. (I don't wear this type of scent in the spring or summer.) I like this one. It'll smell sexy on My Hunkband as well!!😜

Believe the hype (if there ever was any) on this fragrance. One of Lattafa's best!! I don't know for sure why it's not listed, but I get like a Sicilian lemon note in this. Maybe it's an aspect of the frankincense. These ingredients are blended perfectly together. Simple...very few...but so alluring & mesmerizing. The soft creamy warmth of the cashmeran, and delicate sandalwood makes this scent delicious. Adding in the frankincense for a bit of brightness...and voila!, nose-gasm all day. Perfectly unisex. Get your nose on this one guys & gals!!!

I’ve owned Nasheet for several months now and it’s a beauty. Strong dupe for Ani and so good I actually want to buy Ani now. It’s macerated for almost 3 months now. This is a scent people may go nose blind to! It lasts a good 4-6 hours on my clothes but I go nose blind to it fairly quickly, sometime after the first half hour. I keep catching occasional whiffs of it though. YT reviewers have noted that they go nose blind to this scent as well, it’s not particular to me, similar to what happens with BR540. It’s still there.

Have had Nasheet since launch, used very little of it for nearly 2 years. It's mainly been sitting in my cupboard. However, every so often I would just spray this on my hand, and it has become better and better and better. Was in a Niche perfumery store a few weeks back, and sniffed Ani again. And Nasheet is literally so close to the OG. While Ani exudes a bit more quality, nobody will really know the difference, if they've never smelled the Nishane.

This is a truly beautiful perfume. It reminds me so strongly of balmy afternoons spent hanging out in the woods at little psytrance festivals. Incense is burning somewhere not too far off, the trees are fragrant, and everything and everyone is chill and beautiful. Completely unisex. Strong to moderate sillage from 4 sprays over 3 hours or so, then moderate to skin scent very slowly over the rest of the wear time. 8 to 10h longevity.

I've never smelled Ani. A couple of years ago I was looking for something similar to Material by Amouage. I couldn't find anything, so I finally caved and bought the real thing. This lattaffa scent didn't exist then, so I don't have to feel bad. But if you are looking for something to scratch that Material itch-look no further. This is lovely and very similar.

I have Ani and this is a very good dupe. The performance sucked at first, it last 30 mins max. And I had to respray throughout the day. Got frustrated and just left it be for about a month. So after macerating for a month, it's awesome. Lasts for more than 6 hours. Super happy with this. Now I can spray it everyday with wild abandon
