Opulent Dubai

Beautiful and likeable from first spray, no need for maturing this one. To me the mango note reminds me of those chewy mango candy gummies, very delicious. In the opening you get this fruity yellow and green combo of that mango with a very noticeable lemon, but like a perfumery lemon which feels clean, and you get this edge with a zingy and tingly ginger note. As it dries down, you lose that ginger and it's almost like more non-descript juicy fruits appear and the fragrance becomes sweeter, in a good way. This facet of the perfume reminds me of the Erba Pura DNA, not the same but the vibe. All throughout the fragrance you have this woods + ambroxan background which keeps it modern and gives it more push and staying power. And this aspect of the perfume, combined with the lemon note, reminds me of the Aventus DNA vibe. In my mind this doesn't smell "tropical", it's more of a fruity sweet + fresh combo, I correlate tropical perfumery more to coconut & sun screen notes. Performance is more than decent, stays on skin for at least 8 hours, and sillage pushes for 2-3 hours, I keep getting whiffs of the scent while wearing it for hours, this is for me one of those that doesn't make me nose-blind. Opulent Dubai to me feels at least designer quality, and even though the GOF DNA is popular in our community right now, I think it's still pretty unique to wear because the majority of people are not that into fragrances.

Upon its opening Opulent Dubai smells like you took Sospiro's "Vibrato" & added an additional Mango note. But dont let that turn you away. Its not at all redundant to "Vibrato". Opulent Dubai is a beautiful fragrance with a photo realistic Mango, Grapefruit, & Ginger note opening. In this beginning stage both the Mango & Grapefruit smell ripe & freshly sliced. Neither are overpowering the other. They literally smell as if you're preparing a Fruit Bowl & grating fresh Ginger on top to give it a bit of Earthy Spice. ... & as it wears on it just keeps getting better, morphing into the scent of a Tropical Paradise. Here is where the Mango note takes center stage & you catch fragrant wafts of the Mango's skin, its Green Stem, & its sweet ripe fruit inside. All while still smelling subtly spiced with Ginger. Now, while Opulent Dubai is sweet, Its not an overly sweet fruity fragrance like Xerjoff's "Erba Pura". It never becomes cloying, not even in the high heat with extra sprays. I get an arms length of projection for around two hours. It also leaves a nice Sillage trail for around 6 hours, & even longer if you spray your clothes. Much like Vibrato & Erba Pura, Opulent Dubai has been a strong compliment getter for me. Opulent Dubai is an absolute steal for its $39 price tag. I highly recommend.

The opening is dominated by a photorealistic mango, yet it possesses a fascinating structural integrity. Rather than settling into a simple tropical cliché, the fruit undergoes a remarkable metamorphosis, evolving into the sharp, tangy-sweet profile of ripe tamarind. This "sour-gold" effect is achieved through a meticulous marriage with citric top notes and the biting, piquant energy of fresh ginger. What impresses most is the technical endurance. The scent remains vibrant for hours before eventually surrendering to a sophisticated dry-down. Here, the tamarind settles into a lush, lacquered creaminess, anchored by the soft, balsamic warmth of benzoin. It is a dry-down that feels less like a fade and more like a velvet cloak—rich, resinous, and undeniably opulent.

Debating whether I should be waiting to review this, but I wore day before for this purpose. I love this scent, but I am struggling with it a bit. My bottle was a new batch, so it had to sit. The performance is there, no doubt, fantastic. On clothing, I cannot stop sniffing. On my skin though...we having to work something out. The opening is so good, then something spicy(smells like oud) comes in, but then it settles into the base. The base is fresh spicy, mango sweet, a lil woody. It’s nice but I am just having to get to know this one. I don’t think it has blended fully yet. I thought this would be sweeter than what it is. I thought it would be fresher. I have watched & read reviews for a year, they all say those things. So I think next year, I will have that fragrance. Right now, I can’t wear this outside(*112 heat index, 1000% humidity) bc of that spicy note. I would choke. As it is now, it will shine in our Autumn air. I do still love it, it is different for my collection. I just need to figure out when to wear with the best results. My son says it’s good, he says it smells good on me. I have a feeling I may be updating or redoing this review in the future 10/10

This is one of those fragrances, where if you like it, you’ll keep sniffing yourself. It is very fresh and juicy. Bright and slightly zesty and a subtle aquatic dewiness. I will say that the mango note is not as photo realistic as people are portraying it. I’m a mango girly. I love mango to eat and smell. I’d say this is more mango skin vibes than mango fruit vibes so if you’re expecting super juicy fruity pulp, this won’t be exactly what you’re looking for. This does give very tropical to me. I love that it isn’t a sunscreen or coconut scent as tropical smells are far more diverse than just basic coconut or sunscreen. To me this is sophisticated with tropical resort vibes. This is a unisex scent in the truest form. I think men and women can both wear this and smell super chic. The violet and moss notes give it that slightly dewy undercurrent that feels cozy and bright. For the price, this is a steal. Just keep in mind, you’re not getting b&bw juicy youthful mango fruit. You’re getting more of a mango skin zesty fresh vibe and for those who align with those scents.. will absolutely fall in love with

This is a great warm weather fragrance. It smells like mango and grapefruit. Anyone saying they smell oud or rotting mango has lost their mind. I can’t detect anymore than (maybe) the faintest of wood smell, and certainly not oud. The mango is sweet with some greenness (from the grapefruit) in the opening and mid. I get no harshness at all. I get great longevity. One spray to the neck and one to the chest, and the next morning I could still slightly detect it on skin 15 hours later. On my t-shirt it lasts forever. It’s mostly unisex. On a 0-10 scale if 0 was extremely feminine, 10 was extremely masculine, and 5 was completely unisex, this is about 4.5. Safe for both genders to wear. This is great on its own, and I don’t normally layer fragrances. But this has me curious to try layering this with Set Sail St. Barts for a mango margarita, or with an Aventus clone to get a more masculine and pineapple vibe. All that being said I give this 8.5/10. Well worth picking up. I’ll be wearing this a lot this spring/summer.

#44 on my Fragrance Review Journey I used up a full bottle of God of Fire recently. I was always curious about Opulent Dubai and picked it up. I have had nearly a dozen Lataffa fragrances, and I've been quite pleased with all but one of them. This was another winner. When I first sprayed it, I immediately said to myself, God of Fire. Yes it smells like. GOF has oud that smooths it out and gives it a certain elegance. Opulent Dubai minus the oud, smells like a wonderful summer mango freshie. The quality is nice. This is one you can enjoy right away without having to spray and put up for a awhile. I will say that it gets even better as it matures. I get about 7 hours of on-skin performance and all day on clothing. There is nothing negative I can say about this fragrance. If you enjoy the DNA, or the notes peak your interest, its worth a look. It is a phenomenal 20 buck investment. Even with that, no there are tons of Lataffa counterfeits out there. Buy from a reputable source and enjoy.

First impressions: ♡ ♡ ♡ This opens with a bright burst of citrus and ginger. The mango isn't the first thing I notice, but it's there, adding a soft tropical sweetness in the background. After a little while the fragrance really starts to shine. The mango becomes much more noticeable, and honestly, it's beautiful. Fresh, juicy and very uplifting without feeling overly sweet. I also get something slightly elegant and almost sensual in the background. I'm not sure if it's the jasmine, the violet or just the way everything comes together, but it gives the fragrance depth. I can understand why people compare this to God of Fire, but on my skin they don't smell that similar. God of Fire is much more ginger-forward to me, while this one the mango take center stage after the opening. In the air, though, I can see why people make the comparison since they share the same fresh tropical vibe. So far, this is incredibly beautiful and one of the nicest mango fragrances I've tried. 🥭🥭🥭

I'm low-key obsessed with god of fire dna and the dupes and this one may be tied with Vulcan feu for the best. I know a lot of people try to figure out which one to buy.. They aren't *exactly* the same though Vulcan feu has more of the sexy smoky spicy aspect, and opulent Dubai has more juicy fruity sweetness. So depending on which you prefer they're both amazing. I believe this one can be purchased for a bit cheaper though. But just because it cost less it's no less quality. But for real and I mean this lasts alllll day on skin line one single spray I finally had to wash it later because I wanted to wear something else. Neither are identical to GOF but close and possibly even better in some ways imo. Mango bliss isn't quite up to par for me. Don't blind buy any GOF dupe if you don't know what they smell like because they're very musky and intense.. they won't be everyone's cup of tea. But when you love it you LOVE it

The mango note is by far the most prominent right off the bat. The mango smells natural, but not necessarily photorealistic. It's almost like a really nice mango candy or mango juice, but at the same time I wouldn't say it smells artificial or overly synthetic. When I first got this fragrance in, I thought it was just okay. The mango was to be expected, but it had this overly woody, almost "dirty" smell to it (not necessarily in a bad way) which threw me off a bit. Now that I've had this fragrance for over 6 months, it's one of my favourites in my collection (my gf is also a huge fan, she even wears it from time to time herself). The woodiness is still there, but I feel like it's significantly more balanced than I remember initially. Overall, I'd highly recommend, especially since it can be found for a ridiculously cheap price on most discounters.

Been wanting to get a hold of either this frag or Vulcan Feu for months now, and I finally picked it up for 55 AED/15$. This fragrance is really simple, it starts off as a realistic, green (not in the sense that it's unripe), fruity mango. An uncut mango to be specific, as in you take a mango and you just sniff the peel and add some musk maybe? Over time, the mango becomes more synthetic, because it loses the green aspects and it becomes more lotion-like in scent, and the musk comes forward to smoothen it out. Overall though, this scent is very linear as others have pointed out, and on my skin, it lasts for 4-5 hours pre-maturing. The projection is nothing to write home about when compared to other frags. So IMO, disappointing performance but the scent is so lovely, hoping some ageing will fix it, definitely cop this.

A fellow perfume addict like me gifted me a bottle of this perfume after buying one for herself and knew I will love it too. Well she was right. This perfume is delicious and the fact that it is named after one of my favourite cities, Dubai is an added bonus. The initial impression I get when I spray OD is grapefruit mostly with some mango and ginger. And that’s how it stays for the entire longevity on my skin and clothes. Fresh, uplifting, sparkly and effortless. It’s raining heavily at the moment and this is the perfume I am wearing currently at work and it is performing beautifully. I have a decant of God of Fire and they are very similar so I will repurchase Opulent Dubai if I want this scent profile again. It’s a love for me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nose Note #687 At first I thought: "And this is what everyone's hyping up?!" It's just a mango scent. At least that's what I thought at first. And then the performance and the scent itself started to grow on me superfast. This is amazing. So pleasant and so easy to wear. Perfectly unisex, maybe best for the female audience. Great performance. I generally don't like anything tropical, but this is perfect. I often ask myself: "If I only had to keep a handful of fragrances, what would it be?". This would definitely be one of them. It's so easy and interesting and just good quality. This, then two from Ahmed al Maghribi - Ighra'a and Aqua Oud, perhaps Kaaf too. That's to name some. 10/10, another welcome to the hall of fame

This smells like a delicious mango margarita with a bit of spice on the rim of the glass. Although I think anyone can use whatever fragrance they like, I’ve seen some people say this one is too feminine while others say it’s too masculine. I would argue this is perfectly unisex. I got it for my husband and I think it’s going to be amazing on him when the weather is a bit warmer but I do see myself stealing it from time to time. It’s really nice! The mango is very realistic and doesn’t lean too sweet or too sour. The ginger gives it a little kick. I don’t get any of the florals in this but the wood comes through a little bit once it’s dried down, which gives it an almost forest-y vibe.

Had a bottle of this for around 6-8 months, hardly ever reach for it but thought I’d give it a go as the sun came out. This fragrance has matured well and let me tell you it is a beast mode fragrance. I’ve had it on at least 8 hours and it’s still projecting strongly. It’s clinging to my clothes like crazy- I was so impressed with the strength that I’ve sprayed some on the sheets when I changed my bedding. It’s sweet but not too sweet, the mango blends well with the grapefruit and ginger giving it a tangy vibe. It’s a fragrance for the sun in my opinion- when the sun is on you this fragrance comes alive. I’ve seen this for as little as £12-14 and for that price it’s a great deal.

My current go-to fragrance for that warm environment or when I'm training. Absolutely adore the scent profile of this. How the fruits combine together at the top is just a complete catcher. It attracts you instantly to the smell. And the dry down? It's just a smoother, slightly woody version of the initial spray. Amazing. 9.5/10 A lot of people say it smells screechy or synthetic and yes, I would agree. If I didn't let it macerate for some time. After I let it sit after purchasing for a month or so, it came down to this smoother version, a lot closer to that of God Of Fire which is where the dupe comes from. Great blind buy, absolutely recommend if you love fruity fragrances.

I already had Maison Alhambra Scepter Malachite in my collection, and it is very good. However I did a trade for Opulent Dubai and it's just better. I didn't think I needed another dupe of God of Fire, but this one is so good. Honestly now I can say I don't need another version of GOF because this one's so strong and such a good performer. However if there's a good twist I might try it cuz I love this scent profile. It's so strong it lasts all day you'll never have to reapply at least I don't, and it smells so fresh and fruity clean. Like some kind of mango gum with slight minty or menthol vibes(very slight). It's an amazing summer fragrance that you can't go wrong with.

Best scent I have gotten in a while, definitely worth the hype online and stuff, it's smells of real mango rather than synthetic and for the price it is immaculate, especially with the performance, TF oud wood doesn't perform nearly as good despite smelling amazing as well. I will say, with he performance, on my skin only about 3 sprays and that's enough to already project a couple feet for a little while, 4-5 and it'll last longer and project more but you'd have to wait a few mins before going anywhere cause of the sheer strength of it. All in all, I will buy this again and again, I'd recommend to anyone who is looking for a good, fruity scent, man or woman.

Fresh juicy vibrant mango slushy, literally what it smells like. longevity is around 6 hours for me and projection is really nice not overpowering. will be my summer go to for the beach, anything summery lol, a tropical vacation and this in my opinion is only for summer. Imo it would be weird smelling so juicy and fruity in any other season. also, I've smelt god of fire, Vulcan feu, and now this... usually I'm into more mature scents but this time.. it just sits right. no need for the oud and woodiness and the slight greenness in this type of fragrance, its purpose is served right here. smell like a mango for 6 hours and solid projection for around 3.

Opulent Dubai(OP) open with fresh citrus real mango, then it dry down quite similar to MFK 540 plus fresh mango with Woody+Ambergris+Oakmoas+Cedar+Jasmine notes! Update: This perfume is much more smoother, less harsh and less spicier in the openning than Vulcan Feu and Sceptre Malachite as there is no ginger and pink pepper , which make it more wearables, more elegant and less arabian. In dry down, it is similar to Vulcan and Sceptre. This perfume is also less sweet and not candied synthetic, compare to Go Mango from Armaf. To conclude, this is my most favorite "dupe" of God of Fire with solid 7hr plus perfomance. I highly recommend OP.

I already own Vulcan Feu (which I think is phenomenal) and was looking to pick up a backup bottle for the summer. My local discounter didn’t have it in stock, but they did have Opulent Dubai, so I decided to give that a try instead. Right off the bat, this is amazing. It’s very close to Vulcan Feu, with only minor differences. If I’m being honest, those small nuances still give VF a slight edge, but considering this costs around 40-50% less, it’s an absolute win. Performance-wise, it projects strongly straight out of the box. I can only imagine it getting even better as it matures over the next few weeks. Solid 9/10

At first this one was a bit disappointing, as the faint mango came across as unripe and was fleeting. That said, my bottle mfg date is 1/26, so I expected it to need a bit of time. I'm happy to report that after about a month, the mango steadily became much more prominent, sweeter-smelling, and it stays around for most of the day. This isn't cloying-sweet, though. It's much more dry than I expected, and I hope it stays that way. Fruity without feeling overly juvenile -- I really like it. Definitely unisex. I'm now curious as to what it can be layered with to extend its wearable-weather range.

Mango Ice Cream, its a sweet fragrance but also a very fresh energizing one due to citruses, can be wored all year round easily, it gives me beachy tropical vibes because it has a somewhat aquatic base, not syrupy at all, and i mean at all, its a very nice spring/summer blind buy, i'd say it has the potential of being mass appealing however i dont really have any idea why it isn't, the sillage is also there and gets even more refreshing when cooler winds blow, its so cheap for what he offers tbh, i might buy it again when i finish this bottle.

As someone who doesn’t necessarily like soapy clean scents for summer this is perfect. To my nose it’s about 60% citruses and 40% mango when it comes to the fruity side. People say this is like a fizzy mango soda, but I wouldn’t really say that. It’s more of a tart mango candy with lemon and grapefruit along with it. It has a slight touch of some wood. A bit resinous. Overall this is a great fragrance for pretty much anyone. One of my favorites I’ve smelled, but I haven’t smelled the original. 9/10 Good blind buy for fruity scent lovers

Fizzy mango soda. Like sprite mango edition. That’s all. Exactly like you would expect with that description. The best part is there is no oud! I’m a bit (a lot) over the cheap oud with tropical fruit vibe. It was never for me personally. I feel like this leans a little more feminine but I’m not sure. I feel like it would smell great on a guy, but I live with one who feels like a fruit of any kind is immediately a woman’s fragrance. I suppose it just depends on personal taste and confidence. 8.5/10 for me for spring and summer

Very very nice. Doesn't smell synthetic at all. For me it leans feminine maybe because someone has created something very similar in the past and it was worn by women I've passed by. Smells like a mango cocktail. If my drink smelled like this I wouldn't hesitate to drink it. It's sweet too but not heavy. I'm pretty happy with it. Tester strip still smells strong after 20 hours. I tested along another 2 fragrances and this one beats them on strenght. Scent 10/10 Longevity 8/10 Projection 8/10 Price 10/10 Solid 9/10

Lattafa has cooked again! This is a banger, in the Netherlands you can find it for 20€! (Or 23$) and I just love it! Close to God of fire but without the oud! I have an older batch and a new one, the new one has a new and better atomizer! Overall a great summer/spring fragrance that i believe is a pretty save blind buy, but you need to like mango! Longevity on my skin 4-5 hrs and I just re-apply when it is neccassery, sillage moderate but if sprayed right people will smell you! I just want to end with try it out!

Opulent Dubai, Mango Ice and Fulcan Feu are ALL THE SAME SCENT, no discernible difference. My theory is that they have the same OEM supplier of this scent and they just bottle them for each brands specifically. Bought these three from the same store they were $24.99 for the Opulent Dubai, $29.99 (Mango Ice) and $39.99 (Vulcan Feu). So you can either choose based on price or based on bottle design. That being said I love this, ripe yellow mangoes are my favorite fruit and this perfectly captures that.

This is an interesting scent for me. I love the mango, as a gourmand girl who wants something fruity for summer. There is a sharp note that some describe as oudy or sour. What I’ve come to is the balsamic note in the description. There is a bit of oak moss in the dry down. I do pair it with vanilla or coconut to give it more femininity or to soften it. It would be great on both men or women. Yes, it has softened a bit after a month on my shelf. I will give it more time.

I have over 300 scents. Avid collector/hoarder🤭. I'm a 58 year old female. Oooooooooohhh!! Nice clean freshie! I love this! Its in the rhelm of the other scent that Lataffa makes, that's one of my faves, called Leen. I wish the bottle wasn't so solid. I can't tell how much juice I have left. I guess I'll just spray til I cant. I really like this one. Unisex. I will love this one on my hub!! 😘🤩🥰

Smells delicious! Definitely God of Fire aroma. Spray and close your eyes. It transports you to a fabulous beach bungalow patio with a tropical fruit beverage of mango, grapefruit and a hint of spice. It’s a vacation in a bottle. Blind buy safe. The bottle is gorgeous. Cap stays put. Atomizer is pressurized and releases a fine mist. All around great summer heat fragrance

This scent is truly bang for the buck! I’ve had this bottle a year now and it’s only gotten better. Lasts even longer now than last Summer. In my opinion, the mango and ginger are so complimentary to each other and on me that blend is simply lovely. It’s been a minute since I have focused on the dry down, so I’ll have to update this review later this afternoon!

Seeing a lot of mixed reviews on this one. In my opinion the mango is definitely there but it feels too perfect and candyish/berryish. Don’t get me wrong it doesn’t feel bad in fact it’s a mood lifter for me for sure. Considering the price point can’t really complain-if you want a fruity tropical DNA with mango in it you can add it to your collection

I'm obsessed with her. Delicious, flirty, sexy, juicy and then some. A great clone of God of Fire and gorgeous bottle. But if you are contemplating between this and Vulcan Feu I'll tell you this.....Vulcan feu lasts longer. But Opulent Dubai is more affordable. They are both gorgeous scents. I think it leans more on the feminine side.

It's a very good summer fragrance,can be a little bit too much on very high weather,the mango is the best note on it,I got 5 compliments in 1 day.The smell wears off in 2 hours and gets more intimate but it's still smellable.I absolutely love it especially for 25-30$.It doesn't smell synthetic at all and it's overall very good

For everyone that just bought the fragrance and think that it has too much citrus and not enough mango, don’t worry, you just need to let it macerate for some time. The first time I smelled this fragrance I thought the same, but after some months I can smell the mango a lot more and the citrus is not as sharp anymore.

For the price this is excellent. I paid £15 in the UK and while it maybe lacks the polished sophistication of the likes of God of Fire, for the price it's a gorgeous, fresh, fruity Summer scent. I don't think it's too feminine at all but I can understand why some guys would. The mango/citrus top notes are so nice.

Sweet, mango citrus scent but a little less fresh than I’d thought (not heavy or dense though). This takes the heaviness out of the God of Fire DNA (removes Oud) making it more fresh than the original imo. Not very harsh or synthetic and performs pretty well especially for the price. Solid 8/10 for the price

Beautiful, fresh, sweet, more feminine /unisex (too) fragrance, that smells like realistic mango ice choppa chuups or mango ice smoothe juice ice cream smell. Really pretty and I see wearing this in summertime and spring only. Really cheerfull and uplifting but also a little bit cooling summer scent.

I don't even like sweet fragrances, but i blind buy this one just to try something new. And i could literally smell the mangoes. The longevity is crazy. It still smell as strong after 8hours. Sillage is amazing. I spray it on my skin and it transfers to my clothes. Its the perfect summer scent.

I just purchased this and even tho I’m not a sweet fragrance type of guy I actually like this one. The mango is definitely prominent and you’ll catch whiffs thru out the day. I seen somewhere that this is more of a layering fragrance and I couldn’t agree more. Definitely a good smell tho 7.5/10

If you're in a mood to smell like a juicy mango-tropical drink look no further. You get that sweet mango up front with the citruses, pretty good dupe and perfect for summer. it smells like fruity heaven it lasts pretty long the projection is insane and for 20$ a good summer pick up. 9.5/10

Just got it right now and it smells like a mango candy scent with less of the ginger note unlike vulcan feu where the ginger hits you. Its not really the expected mango scent i thought of since people say it smells like a realistic mango. But I’ll let it sit for a few days or weeks

It's not a 1:1 to GOF. But yes, it is a great, juicy mango fragrance, not cloying or syrupy sweet. I find layering this with something dark such as Encre Noire A L'Extreme brings the woody base like GOF has. Basically, this is GOF without the oud note. Nothing more or less to it.

A sweet, ripe mango that just captures that summer vibe so efficiently. In my experience it has pretty darn good projection and lasts around 7 hours. Definitely recommend as a summer or even possibly as an everyday scent. Such a sweet mango. Any synthetic talks are just baseless
