Opulent Oud

The opening on this is kind of brutal, medicinal, sharp, spicy, alcoholic with a lavenderish note. After a few minutes, the mids start to come through and those are pretty interesting to me. I can detect cypress, juniper, rum, anise, patchouli, caramel, woody/oudy notes, resin and rose. As the scent develops, it gets darker, smoother, smokier (think of incense). The woods and resins become really prominent and this jamy, spicy rose takes the lead. A really nice, slightly spicy, but smooth vanilla note comes along, which reminds me of chai latte. Together with the caramel, it gives this frag an almost gourmandish vibe, but thanks to the patchouli, it doesn't get too christmassy or edible (still delicious though). Really a suprisingly complex and well-balanced scent. In my opinion, this is strictly a cold weather scent (except you're visiting the middle east) and leaning night time use. While I'd categorise this scent as unisex, it's leaning slightly masculine, just because the woods are so prominent and I definitely don't see this working on a very young and feminine woman. It's just too mature. Performance wise, this stuff is absolutely no joke. For me it's 2-3 sprays max (nowhere near my nose), or it's just too overwhelming. It also lasts all day and it's still there the next day. If you use it very sparingly, you could get away wearing this in an office-type environment, but you might still get kicked out. As I already found out, not everyone is a fan. It's more of a casual wear (except you're Sheikh of Dubai). In conclusion, this is a really nice, resinous, spicy oud-rose combo with vanilla/caramel sweetness, patchouli and incense. At this price point really a no brainer for anyone who likes middle eastern oud scents, but you have to tolerate rose and be able to deal with harsh openings. Time will tell whether the opening will get smoother over time.

After the first 10 seconds (where there is a faint aroma of stale wine), this fragrance is incredible value for your money. I cannot believe that a $30 scent is capable of such a smooth, dense, well rounded rose oud that doesn't smell rough around the edges (looking at you, Halfeti, Ombre Nomade). Dried fruits, rose and oud make up the scent profile, similar to Oud Royal, which I love. However I find that Oud Royal could use a touch more sweetness, which I find in Lattafa Opulent Oud. The scent smells rich, and I could imagine it costing 10 times as much in a different bottle. The oud accord (at this price, natural oud oil is impossible) is absolutely excellent and leaves Ombre Nomade and Halfeti in the dust. There is a prominent smokey rose, jammy dried fruits and smokey woods in the base. I don't smell large doses of synthwoods that are obvious in its competitors, and I appreciate this delicate touch. Over time, similar to Oud Royal the smokiness dial turns up as the jamminess recedes. Sweet synthetic sandalwood may occasionally be seen in the murky smoke, and the rose remains as a transparent vapour, following the woods to the finish. There is no doubt that Armani Privé Oud Royal is an exquisite product made with superior ingredients, but I prefer the added dense jammy sweetness in Opulent Oud. Ultimately, this is an amazing rose oud scent (on the jammy, woody side) for the money, and I highly recommend it for lovers of niche scents. It is certainly very rich, dense and fashioned in the Arabian style and not for the faint of heart. This is a scent I often found popular with Middle Eastern women (in their 20s and 30s) growing up, but in a Western setting this can easily pass for a unisex fragrance due to the smoke and woodiness. Great for cold weather and evenings and night time.

It's an absolutely gem for me. Amazing. It was love at first sniff. I love strong perfumes. I loved interlude man and supremacy inciense since the first time, for example. I've just started to use the fragance. I hope it doesn't need maceration for last a lot on skin. At first smell i found some similar with oud essentiel from guerlain, allegoria version. I'll be updating my review after some days of use and after to left macerate the fragance. I smell sweety note in that fragance, maybe it's caramel, and i feel some milky, with vanilla, and some kind of leather, very strong, too. Updating, next day: my opulent oud fragance (batch 2024) didn't need maceration. At least, no for performance (it has a bestial sillage, but its skin longevity is above 6-8 hours) but maybe yes, it need for a better note blend. I experienced olfactory fatigue; after two hours, I thought I couldn't smell it anymore, so I reapplied it at the office, and I still couldn't smell it. But a coworker told me it was too strong and overwhelming throughout a 4 x 4 meters office. I immediately regretted it, so be very careful with atomizations. Even just two atomizations can make it undetectable on the skin due to its potency. It's incredibly strong. I adore the scent; it's heavenly, addictive, and very enjoyable for me. Although I understand that many people might not like it because it's quite different from the style of Western fragrances. It might not be a safe blind buy, it's not appealing to the general public, or it's not quite as strong as Guerlain fragrances that also have the leather-rose-oud trinity, like Oud Essentiel and Santal Royal, for example.

This one definitely gets a like from me, and after some more usage, I may even change it to a love. Definitely not a unique smell, as I can say a lot of the "perfume reminds me of" section are pretty spot on. I even see Lattafa Raghba listed, which I would say is definitely missing the floral note that this Opulent Oud has (Rose, to my nose), but otherwise they do have a similar "base". The Oud note is detectable, with some smokiness/dirty quality to it that really balances the amber and cinnamon notes out (and I think this is where the Raghba similarity is coming in). I really like the Rose note thrown into this mix though, and it is not so overly done that it leans more feminine, nor nonexistent to where it may lean more masculine. I even put in a vote for "reminds me of" Versace Atelier Vanille Rouge; definitely not a clone by any means, but I feel like by bringing the "Raghba Base" and throwing it together with the Vanille Rouge composition (which is sweeter, lighter, with the rose being wetter and more prominent), you would get something like this. I feel like it makes it a "masculine" version of Vanille Rouge, having the oud base to make it woodier and darker. To top it all off, you can find this sub-$30 currently, it seems, so the value is through the roof on this one for me. Lasts forever, leaves a scent in the room even when you are gone, and people follow it to find you at the other end. Great sillage! The fact that it is not unique, is probably the only reason I would not rate this one a "love" right off the bat, or put it at a higher rating. It may grow on me though!

Sweet OUD & (SANDAL)WOOD-PATCHOULI with amazing drydown. Opens with a floral-citrus burst with patchouli, saffron & oud touches, that deepens into a caramel & amber-oud heart, all resting on a musky amber-wood base with vanilla & patchouli touches. Overall, I get a sweet oud with faint patchouli touches in the opening with a creamy sweet oud heart on a spicy-sweet & creamy (sandal)wood-patchouli base that's to die for. The drydown reminds me of other sandalwood-patchouli drydowns, although sandalwood isn't specifically listed in the notes. Fantastic performance, that might be difficult to wear in the summer heat. Contrast to Armani Prive Oud Royal: These are different but this is the most similar to Opulent Oud. OR is more complex and has more of a refined feel to it. Both have well above average performance. Contrast to Oud Mood Lattafa: These are different, but there are some similarities with oud-vanilla. OM doesn't have the sandalwood-patchouli drydown, and is more of an oud-praline bland along the lines of Oud Bouquet Lancome, while Opulent Oud is woodier and more along the lines of Armani Prive Oud Royal. Both have powerhouse performance. Contrast to Shaghaf Oud Swiss Arabian: These are different, but there are similarities with sweet oud. SO doesn't have the sandalwood-patchouli drydown, and is an oud-rose & praline blend along the lines of Oud Bouquet Lancome. Both have amazing performance. Overall: Beautiful sweet-oud & woody scent with amazing performance, this is the perfect scent to wear outdoors on a cool night. One of Lattafa's best imho. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

If I smelled this on a man I would never leave his embrace haha. But still a unisex fragrance, I don't believe in gendering some types of smells and I could definitely see a woman pulling this off. You just have to have that confidence 🔥💅✨ It's a warm oud, slightly spicy, slightly floral sexy scent that projects a lot. Nicely blended oud with rose, even though the oud is way more prominent. In terms of resemblance with Oud Mood, yes they share the same scent profile/notes but they go in different directions. Opulent oud is classic/classy and sexy. Very smoky woody scent with the floral/spicy notes that complete the classy vibe. Not original, yes, but an amazing fragrance still (especially for the price point !!!). Oud Mood is sweeter. You keep the smoky oud base, elevate the spicy rose in the opening, and with the incense, you add this delicious, mouth watering, attention grabbing caramel/praline/vanilla. Both are unisex fragrances. Ok weird metaphors but: Opulent Oud is a Capricorn and Oud Mood is an Aquarius. Opulent Oud is confident and classy and Oud Mood is divine and artistic. (Both are sexy). EDIT: Opulent Oud smells like velvet? The bottle could be better but I think the box really represents the idea: velvety oud. Hence the sexy, soft, smoky, spicy warm vibe. Imagine if elegant velvet was a fragrance, this is it. Can't get over this oud/rose fragrance. I have been told it is quite strong but I still get compliments.

I have been avoiding Arabian Oud scents, since I am from the middle east and it smells like every mosque ever. But one day, I wanted to get something that had Oud in it and thought Lattafa will be a good way to start since they’re affordable, right? I got this a week ago, and let me tell you I can’t stop wearing it ever since! I don’t if it’s bec it’s winter, or am I really starting to like middle eastern scents and it’s my new thing maybe, but this is really amazing and worth the try! I came to realize that I really enjoy anything that has cinnamon in it, e.g. Armani Si Intense, La Belle La Parfum intense by JBG also. I wear this morning, night, right after shower, and when I am going to work. I mean I am really obsessed. But to be frankly honest I only apply 2 spritz max, I was trying to build my tolerance to Oud only bec it’s very basic where i live and maybe building my way up? The spray that I do on my wrists before work really lasts me the entire shift and I can’t keep sniffing my wrist it really smells nice and that’s coming from someone who never thought would be wearing Oud. I haven’t really tested the sillage, since I am ok with 1 spray. The spices here are very well mixed together and this really encouraged me to try more Lattafa perfumes. I’d say if you can get this for cheap do it, it’s worth the try for sure!

I get completely different notes than what's listed albeit similar to some folks further down below. This to me is a patchouli, saffron, rose, oud and SANDALwood fragrance. I'm thinking the intersection of this supposed saffron-patchouli-sandalwood is giving the illusion of some cinnamon as well. Somehow, this is a FRESH oud fragrance that can be worn year round. Oud is often very underappreciated for it's versatility in the west. In fact, this leans towards a summer/spring time oud fragrance. Maybe it's the patchouli I'm sensing but I haven't quite put my finger on why this comes off as so fresh and airy rather than warm and dense. Oh well, I'm not complaining. The reason I'm giving it a love is that although it's not groundbreaking, it has an extremely attractive price point for a larger audience - especially those that don't like more traditional our fragrances. Extreme versatility with a brilliant sillage. I bought this in Dubai when I was there and since I'm back I've only worn it on a few occasions. So far, there hasn't been a single occasion where people haven't complimented this. I go light on the sprays but this definitely fills the room either way. And it's a pleasant air trail even though it's clearly quite synthetic to the discerning fragrance hobbyist.

Wear your perfumes! Said it a thousand times already.... Don’t smell your fragrances in paper and form an opinion. Sure, on paper gives a general idea of the smell, but good perfumes are alive and need skin to perform its life cycle. Equally, perfumes have a personality, you cannot just spray it and instantly stick your nose into it for a sniff, as they sometimes will punish you with something off putting. This is the case with Opulent Oud.... Going for an immediate sniff and you will get the stale wine note stated many times on reviews here. Instead, if you spray this one.... And let the aroma creep up to your nose, you will be rewarded with many complexities..... at first a manly dose of cinnamon, tamed with saffron...... several minutes later some fruity notes always accompanied by a sweet smelling oud.... Then settling with oud and more oud.... Sometimes smoky, sometimes sweet. Do you want to know how oud smells? This is the one to let you appreciate this highly popular note. This is a very underrated fragrance... extremely elegant and tame.... But lasts and lasts.... And will continue to reward you with whiffs all day long. My only gripe with this perfume is the bottle.... It’s the ugliest one I have ever seen....LOL.

Great stuff. This is pretty much the classic Middle Eastern oud fragrance of the type that is very popular these days-- a balance of floral, oud, smoke, and spice. It's still oud but not barnyard or overly animalic, oud that announces "I am oud" but not at the top of it's lungs, a very well balanced note. It is sweet, semi-floral (saffron definitely) and a bit spicy from the cinnamon. One of the best inexpensive oud compositions I have come across. Editing to add: My nose just supplied me an interesting bit of information-- I am pretty sure there's hedione in this. No wonder it's so intoxicating! Anyone else agree? And, because I'm petty: @curt42 several reviews down: Sometimes you do get what you pay for, it's true. But to suggest that a Western house like Louis Vuitton is setting the gold standard of Middle Eastern style fragrances is ignorance. These types of fragrances have been made in the UAE and surrounding areas long before any European houses picked them up and most of the time those houses simply copied compositions from Middle Eastern designers in fancier packaging. Ombre Nomade may be great but it stands on the shoulders of giants, not the other way around.

I have received this perfume a few days ago and I truly am in love with Opulent Oud by Lattafa. I'm a woman in my mid-30's and this fragrance leans sweet, spicy, incense of a deep dark oud fragrance. It reminds me of Shagaf Oud that I have and the sample that I had of Lancome Oud Bouquet. The scent at first initial spray is Very sharp and pungent, but I gave it 20 to 40 minutes on my skin and it smells amazing 👏. I read each person review on the notes on Fragrantica being incorrect and the reviews are indeed correct that Fragrantica has input the incorrect notes.The true notes are: TOP: Cinnamon Bark, Saffron HEART: Rose, Oud Wood BASE: Cedarwood, Oud, Amber I know it's weird coming from being a woman but I do LOVE strong perfumes with personality "like myself" and do agree that this perfume smells masculine perhaps due to the Cedarwood but it's the amber, rose, oud and saffron that are my favorite notes that makes it shine brightly. This fragrance is masculine but I do see myself who is a "Boss Babe" and any other ladies like myself who can pull it off with high heels and a black fashionable taylored suit. I really enjoy it and will continue to wear it 😌 ☺️.

This is a very interesting fragrance and my first experience with oud. I was hesitant to try it after hearing how oud-heavy it is, especially since oud is often described as a note you need to ease into. After some hesitation, I placed my order and I’m very happy with my purchase. I’d describe Opulent Oud as a sweeter leather with a strong cinnamon note that persists throughout. There’s also a blend of smoke and floral notes that really come through at the peak, along with hints of rose and saffron. While it smells great, there is a medicinal, incense like quality that ties everything together, which some people may find off-putting. That said, I genuinely love the scent. It’s very unique and far from a typical fragrance. Wearing this will definitely make you stand out, so you have to be confident. I also see this working best for an older guy or for special occasions rather than daily use. It’s clearly a cold weather, nighttime scent. You can wear it indoors as well, just go easy on the sprays. However, I do think that this is something that will be harder to wear due to its uniqueness. But if you can find the occasion, I think you’ll enjoy it.

What an interesting fragrance. You pay your £13 having blind bought and a nice black velvet box turns up holding a really solid feeling and beautiful bottle. Ok the cap is plastic, but the atomiser is reasonable. So already this feels like a more expensive product. Then you spray it on. This was my first middle-eastern fragrance, and my first smell of anything with the word "oud" in its name. It's difficult to explain what happened to my nose and my brain when I first sprayed it on. The opening has so much going on, there's a very fleeting part that lasts a couple of minutes, even more fleeting to me than regular top notes, very citrusy. Then, after unpicking it I got some nice strong saffron punching through the caramel, amber, woods and musk. Then you're on a long drydown journey of about 14h, longer on clothes where it continues to move around and remain interesting. Projects well for a few hours, but you'll keep a small bubble around you for a while. Despite there being some differences in the notes, Swiss Arabian's Shaghaf Oud smells really similar to me. Really interesting fragrance, so if you want something heavier, it's a bargain.

I LOVE THIS. I didn’t love it at first sniff, but as time went on I absolutely started loving it. You have to let this fragrance sit for while with the top off to get some air - at first it does have a BO scent in the background (it goes away) but you HAVE to wait for the dry down it is gorgeous! Spicy, woody & sweet! Definitely unisex but if I had to choose it does lean more masculine - as a woman I love this! And have been wearing it a lot lately, even to bed. If you enjoy spicy & woody fragrances give this one a try especially for the price point you cannot go wrong! I paid $25 for a 3.4oz bottle that lasts forever! This juice is very strong so be careful how much you spray - I spritz on my wrist (rub it into my other wrist), another on my neck and one on my shirt and I’m good to go for the whole day! I get continuous whiffs throughout the day! This fragrance will have you smelling like a rich bitch with your shit together lol. I just want to add - I do not smell any rose in here and that is coming from someone who hates any type of rose scents.

I do agree with previous opinions that the fragrance notes given here are not correct. The true notes as given by many others before are: Top: CINNAMON, Bark, Saffron Heart: Rose, Oud Wood Base: Cedarwood, Oud, Amber. For days I wondered what perfume it smelled like... It's so familiar I was sure I wore it before, loooong time ago... Today I found out which perfume it resembles: Féminité du Bois by Shiseido 資生堂 The cinnamon scent reminds me of Suki Essence by Weil as well. As this perfume was meant for my husband, we tried on his skin as well. I think it's not a man's scent. Like all my Lattafas, I'll let this one rest as well for a few weeks and then will test it again in the fall on both of our skins. I'm hoping it will be less sweet and suffocating in cooler weather and the cinnamon will be less dominant. Anyway, it's very long lasting (on clothes as well), but it's quite linear unfortunately. The sillage is also remarkable. What I smell for hours is sweet smoky cinnamon with a hint of oud and amber. Update: I love it! It's mesmerising...

I have had this for about a week or so. The initial impression was OUD CITY! I didn't really like it and couldn't detect any other smell. A week later I can smell a sweetness coming through and the oud is slowly taking a seat in the background. It is still very oudy but I can see this being a smooth sweet Autumn/Winter scent. Update 10/3: This scent is so much more smoother than it started off. It has a pleasant sweet, rosy, resin, woody smell. It's a very nice autumn/winter scent. Very alluring and I feel it will only get better. Side note, am I the only only not getting any cinnamon? I'm glad though Update Oct 10: It is definitely getting better. so sexy! 01/24: even smoother than before. I was frenzy buying frags at one time and I realize that ppl label this as being masculine. I can see where ppl are coming from, but to me this smells like a sexy woman. I am a little self conscious now when I wear this because I dont want to smell like a smell like a man to ppl, even though that's not what I smell. FML!!!!!!

I went to the Armani stall in Selfridges and sprayed Oud Royal on a card. When I got home I sprayed Opulent Oud on a card and compared them side by side. The difference is NEGLIGIBLE. Armani Oud Royal costs £160 for a 50ml bottle. I picked up a 100ml bottle of this for £13! This is genuinely a hidden gem and I'm surprised it doesn't get more attention. Longevity and Sillage are both excellent. Go easy with the sprays as this fills up a room easily. I won't bother describing the scent profile as it's already been described well and you could also check reviews of AOR as they are identical. I discovered this when I smelt it on someone else and I knew I had to get it. When I did, someone smelt this on me and told me they also had to have it. It's rare for a perfume to get such a reaction from people. The only other perfumes which have garnered this much attention for me is Interlude Man and Tobacco Vanille. A must try perfume. You cannot go wrong for the price.

This is a way nicer version of the gold Maahir by lattafa. This smells more sweet,blended,and wearable. While Maahir is much more funky and robust. but Maahir is definitely better performing. If you have one, you don't need the other, but I'd recommend opulent oud before Maahir. I'd also recommend this one over Maahir. ............................................................ Side note, out of all the opulent line. I'll give a quick little opinion for each one. Opulent musk- most fresh, most clean, good amaount of citrus. And the most amaount of saffron. Opulent Red - The most unique and most strange. It doesn't smell like anything I own. Least safe blind buy. Opulent Oud - The most dark, the most rich, the most amount of oud and sweetness. Perfectly unisex. Opulent blue Oud - The easiest to wear, and the least funky. Minimal oud. Very fresh. It's almost has this mineral quality. Very mass appealing towards men in my opinion.

I let this macerate in the closet for a month before trying it. Thank goodness there is no gasoline smell to me. It’s softer than I thought it would be, like a perfumed breeze after the initial wood smokiness subsides. I can detect subdued but very pretty rose in the florals. Lovely light caramel sweetness, too. The spicy vanilla is mild and clear and lasts throughout. The whole composition has a really nice development and gentle complexity. It doesn’t project as much as I wish it would, but it lasts a good 8-10 hours at a decent level. The drydown is slightly powdery caramel vanilla on me. I really like this very much, but I wanted more from it - more depth, more complexity, and something a little more exotic, but I don’t know what that would be. I’m putting this back in the closet - it may just need a little more time. I’ve ordered Kamrah - looking forward to trying more Arabian scents.

Strong, typical oriental oud-rose combination. To me it is a little harsh. It reminds me of Oud Mood but without the caramel and pimento notes. The perfume opens with that heavy, dense rose mixed with a deep oud and goes to some ambery notes in the drydown. It doesn’t break three legs of a duck, smells synthetic but is pleasant in a certain way. Better for cold weather. I admise to be wise with the sprays, it can easily causes headaches. Overall décent quality for the price. Edit : after training my nose a little bit more to the Middle Eastern fragrances, this is a gem for the price. Smells really good and even got compliments from strangers ! Really well crafted oud-rose accord. This may be the « Dior Sauvage » of middle east, but at least it is priced decently, and in Europe it’s very uncommon to wear this type of scent.

This was love at first sniff for me, it's incredible that this can be found for under €15. A great blend of rose, oud and incense, a bit linear perhaps, but I enjoy it nonetheless. My partner describes it as "a Catholic church scent, in a good way". The rose note is very similar to Shaghaf Oud's, but the strong incense note gives this a bit more heft and body overall. My only reservation is that it smells quite smoky on my skin, which isn't as problematic with Shaghaf Oud or other rose-oud scents I've tried. This is great for spraying on clothes though if you're willing to commit to this scent for a couple days. I tend to apply another rose-oud scent on my skin (lately I've been enjoying Ahmed al Maghribi Summer Oud now that it's had time to mature), then a couple sprays of this on my clothes.

Yes, this perfume is very specific in terms of fragrance, but also extremely interesting. I say it like that because I have never smelled another oud fragrance in which you can feel rose and saffron. In combination, they are a killer combo that can most accurately be described as "Arabic fragrance". Yes, it is an imitation of Armani, but a typical Arabic fragrance, heavy and saturated with oud aroma. I can say that its projection is brutal and fills the entire room.Its longevity is over 7 hours and even after that it remains a very pleasant and close to the skin scent. If it is on clothes, it will probably last about 10 hours without any problems. I really like it, especially for its price of 15 euros, but you should definitely test it first. A rich oud that not everyone would tolerate.

This is a really good fragrance. It smells almost exactly the same as Bushra room spray by Rasasi. I would say this is the stereotypical oud / bakhoor smell.. you can easily find this smell in Middle Eastern homes, Mosques, etc. It's a good place to start if you are not familiar with oud. It smells sweet, oud, florals, amber, vanilla.. really pleasant! This might work better for a night out rather than for regular day wear (in western countries). In terms of performance, it's strong in the beginning but after that I honestly can't tell how much its projecting.. like it completely disappears on me and then it comes again (sensory adaptation??). Anyway it's a safe blind buy only if you like sweet fragrances and oud, or if you just want to try oud for the first time! Highly Recommended!

This is the typical rose oud combination that ravaged the market some years ago when western perfume houses got interested in oud. it starts with a wet gooey oud and a realistic rose oil and it stays so till the end of the day. I do get the fragracticans here saying it smells a little like fruits but I would describe these fruits as overripe rather than rotten or decaying. Overall a really safe and westernized oud that can replace Rose Oud from yves rocher (which was discontinued). for the people to whome this is too much there a more floral intake that still smells the same but more rosey and it's called Delila from Alhambra (which is a sub-brand of Lataffa house). and for people looking for a mature, "honorable", airy oud I'd suggest Tharaa al Oud from Ard al Zaafaran.

Can I say, astonishing? Ok, it may not be the best. But scent + performance + price = WOW!. Received a couple of compliments. That took me by surprise. For me it is a smooth likeable fragrance. At first it was a bit harsh not as bad as the initial spray with Oud For Glory (although I do enjoy that as well). The drydown is awesome. All this for $16. We live in a crazy world. I know it isn't as luxurious as some other offerings. But it makes me question if I want to break the bank for the others. Will the additional cost actually provide me more satisfaction? Once I run out of my current set of samples, I may just splurge for more to see. For now, give this a shot if you haven't already.

Nose Note #90 All the pros and cons listed here are so true. It's one of the best oud fragrances I've tried. Smells so next level. A good way to get acquainted with middle eastern world of perfumery. Rich oud with floral splashes. Clearly rose dominant, but yet manly. Cheap. Very potent. Dries off as something sweet and lightly floral on clothes. Great dry down on clothes. Memorable. In the line of Oud Mood and Rouat al Oud, but different. Not redundant if you have either of the two. Perhaps a bit redundant with Oud Mood. Yes, the bottle is kitschy. I own several oud perfumes, but this one is so delicately rosy, sweetly comforting and spicy to me. When I smell Opulent Oud on me, the ceiling opens up above me and I'm under a cathedral-like starry sky. It is my base scent. Perfect for layering with bores like Coco Mademoiselle and the like. It's not your typical feminine fragrance and if you're not familiar with oud, you'll have to get used to it. But Opulent Oud would be a good fragrance for beginners. You have to try it before you buy it and give it a moment after applying it. It will then stay with you for quite a while anyway, because it lasts a very long time.

Starts with cinnamon, and saffron, after a few minutes this settles into a sweet amber, with vanilla vibes. Theres also an oud thats a very clean, synthetic oud (in a good way) , also smells somewhat smoky, but not like incense smoky, rather smoky woods because of the cedarwood and oud in the base. Maceration definitely makes it better, so let it macerate for a few months.This stuff smells a 100 times more expensive than it is, its a mature, mysterious middle eastern beast. Lasts 8hr+ on skin, projects well. I would only wear it in cooler months, with something elegant, since it’s so classy, and sexy in one. 10/10

This perfume is sooo potent, longlasting and project very well. i used 1 spray and i smell it everywhere i go. I like the smell which is of rich man perfume type. Mostly saffron + oud. Which is ok but i have to mind the spray count. I wonder that this high quality characteristic, is hardly found in niche products that cost 10x. Feel like cheated sometimes by those niche labels. You pay more but you get lowsome characteristics of that perfume. Anyway Opulent Oud is classy and worth the purchase, You get expensive smell with lot less $$.

There is nothing to dislike about this perfume especially at the price point it is at. The packaging looks expensive and the scent can compete confidently with all the expensive niche brands out there. I am a huge fan of Lattafa and I am enjoying all the perfumes from them and Opulent Oud is so good on its own and extra special when I layer with Opulent Red by the same brand from the same collection. Give it a try if you want something with Oud that won’t be polarizing or offensive to those who don’t like Oud normally.

The fragrance has a very strong and sharp opening I was quite overwhelmed since it was a blind buy, I thought I would hate it.but after about 5-10 minutes it is a very nice fragrance with our middle notes and quite strong cedar saffron and rose notes amber is very subtle.definitely a winter fragrance you might get away with early spring late autumn but not on days over 10 degrees c. Overall very nice smells rich but if you can try to smell before purchase and let it dry down.

Smells dark sweet sexy. I get some rose note here, combining perfectly with the Oud. I think it's perfect for cooler weather, below 20° C. I sprayed 3 times on my hand and I'm getting splashed and followed everywhere by the fragrance, and 3-4 sprays fills a room. Reminds me of Afnan Tribute Black that was discontinued, almost 100% similarity, also of Mancera Red Tobacco but with some rose added. Great perfume if you are more of a misterious/dark clothes person 💯

Opulent Oud by Lattafa is one of the best fragrances I came across. A really must have for every mature man. It is a really niche fragrance that is very close to Qaa'ed from Lattafa. They smokiness in this fragrance gives it a really niche quality for those who love to be unique. I can really recommend Opulent Oud to every mature man which can be used all through the year for any occasion. It will give you a real confident feeling and it as a compliment magnet.

As a woman who is very picky about Ouds and has only ever found one other Oud fragrance that I like (Oud Satin Mood by MFK), this was a pleasant surprise. Beautifully blended Oud and sweet smelling fragrance. Sillage is amazing as well. Longevity is outstanding. Perfect for man or woman in my humble opinion. I got this for $17 so I’m not mad at the price either. Great value. Can’t wait for the fall/winter to wear!

Opulent Oud is not a super unique perfume, but if you're a fan of oud,, you'll probably like it. This stuff is wicked strong, 4 sprays on a cold morning gave me a headache. Opens up with cinnamon, saffron and a bit of rose, with a good amount of oud aswell (not animalic by any means). As it dries down, on my skin, it smells exactly like a campfire. 1:1 to Royal Oud by Armani Prive. 100% Recommended

For the price of what you pay and the quality of the oud notes goes unmatched. I feel like the fragrance gets overlooked for being a bit too cheap and others might consider fragrances for a collectible sense. My review will have to be very brief as I never had this for too long and ended up giving this away. During some point I will consider re-purchasing to get the full experience of the spray

To me, this one smells somehow like DKNY Delicious Night, now discontinued but missed a lot by me, therefore I am happy with such a replacement, for such a good price. Lasts all day and leaves a trail for about 5 hours (my mom and I tried this fragrance the very same day and it performed the same in both cases, because we both have fragrance-drinking skin).

Sweet spicy sexy aromatic bomb:) I really love it, it is like a typical arabic fragrance. I got it for 15$ but it has a scent and performance like a 100$+ fragrance. I recommend to test it before buying because it is very strong and interesting, and has a medicinal note but it ends after the opening. Overall 10/10.

I had a 2 ml decant with approx 3 sprays left sitting in the back of my shelf for about 8 months. The composition turned so oily, so creamy. This one for sure has higher concentration of oil and it stays on skin for hours and hours, projecting really well. Reminds me of Falcon Leather. Big like for Lattafa.

The best lattafa has to offer. It smells like the idea of Arab perfumery - oud, amber, rose. Saffron is also there and it gives it nice metallic sharpness. For the price this cannot be beaten. It lasts long and projects strong on me, I can smell it all day long constantly.

It's amazing. Sweet. Fruity. Can definitely be unisex. Strong sillage and good longevity. It's sexy. I can wear it during a warm summer day, it's quite possible it performs better in cold. It is rather linear, what you feel in first spray is what you get later as well.

Ts smells really good and nostalgic reminds me of my sister's first car, couldn't detect the oud at the opening but it has a very harsh flower smell (I might still need it to ejaculate for a month) but the dry down is amazing for the price. Really good stuff.

I always get compliments on this from women. It performs greatly and it’s really worth the money. I sometimes wonder how Lattafa perfumes are so cheap, they perform soooo well. The smell of this is so sexy, It lowkey turns me on when I wear it.

A very good, dense oud, rose and amber perfume. The density was not there in the beginning (a year ago), so I thought it was a mild perfume, that doesn't leave much of a trail. Oh, how wrong was I :). It is beast mode, very pleasant scent.

This is a very good smelling oud with roses and saffron, so if you like oud perfumes you should definitely try this one out its very cheap and it has amazing smell its smells 90% similar to oud royale by armani private collection.

Amazing quality in the first 10-15 minutes I wasn't so sure about it but after 15 minutes this perfume evolved into a beautiful elegant fragrance, I get the "wine" gluhwine/ mulledwine everyone is talking about, love it

i have this fragrance and all i can say is that i cant stop smelling it. the sillage is great and you can fill a room with the oud smell. on my skin lasted longer than i expected(9 to 10 hours). i really recomend it!

I'm glad I bought it. Great price and a scent with character. I like the black version better than the blue one. Excellent performance, strength and durability. The scent is for colder weather. Overall rating 8/10.
