Oud Al Sahraa

This stuff is incredible! Truly niche style scent with incredible performance for around 25 dollars! Ive never smelled the fragrance that this stuff is cloning, but I'm very surprised none has made the connection of this and Les Liquides Imaginaires Fortis. They are probably 75 percent close to my nose. This stuff is even darker and smokier than Fortis. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Overall I have to give this stuff a 9.5 out of 10 Edit: after letting this sit this stuff has really changed and become even better. It has less of the aforementioned Fortis and more dark smoke with a cola like accord that gives it an effervescent quality unusual to fragrance this heavily based. I love it.

Quite a unique offering from Lattafa. The opening reminds me of Bentley for men intense (boozy incense) then it takes a different turn. It becomes woody with a clear presence of myrrh and a slight hint of something citrusy that resembles orange peel in the background. Finally, it settles to a dry leathery woody musky scent and it stays like that until it fades. Nothing skanky, nothing sweet, just bitter resiny woods with musk. It gives me mature gentlemen vibes. Smells vintage and I think it can be worn any time of year except for hot summer days. It's a niche scent for the price of a cheapie.

You need to be accostumed to oud, otherwise you'll hate this. It's a fight between oud and wood notes, one spray fills the room. I wear this in 30C°+ heat because I don't care. Perfect for air-conditioned spaces and winter. If you wear this in the west, people will run from you. I didn't like the bottles cap, since it has a little chain embedded in it that you can turn around the cap so I used pliers to cut the pump off and the moved perfume into another bottle, also filled a small 10ml bottles to carry in my pocket.

This is niche quality 👌... I noticed it projects more in the heat which is different for this kind of scent profile. I love the woods and amber base notes last all day!!! 10/2024 layer this with Al Haramain Detour Noir & get PDM Layton-Exclusif

Aramis if it was done by an Arab company. It's not a dupe of Aramis; the similarity is thematic. This is a leather of an Arabic bent–to my nose there's a leather accord that gets used a lot in Arabic stuff–but a more sociable strength than usual. You could wear this year round without nuking yourself and everyone around you. It's a little barbershop but I like this. Complex and great value for the price point. This isn't sweet, is definitely masculine in nature if you are inclined to gender your scents; I'm female and I plan to wear it.

I've bought 3 bottles of this and on my second. I'm really interested that no one has made a Tom Ford Noir Anthracite connection. When I first opened the bottle it was almost identical, but it changed alot over the following months to the solid, manly, leathery, oudy, boozey teat I'm smelling now. OK its clearly a different fragrance, but it's still got a wierd connection to the TFNA for me. Performance is good and blind buy worthy. A lovely warm, rich fragrance.

The Top note fades within a few minutes but the Heart and Base notes have a long duration. Had a sample on my wrist and took a shower 1 hour later, with a well scrub cleanse on that wrist, and surprisingly came out of the shower, towel up and could still smell the scent on the wrist after another hour. It has a sweet lasting effect. It can last for about 2 weeks on clothes, great value for money

Lots of resins, woods and smoke. Maybe a bit of oud thrown in there. Very linear. Last over 10 hours on my skin, and way over that on clothes. Not for everyone because it can be sharp from the get go, and the smokiness is punchy for sure. A good one from Lattafa.

All I can say is this is just amber!! And some more amber it’s a lot and lasts forever. It’s probably best used to layer with something.

I odered it blindly expexting to have another gem from Lattafa. So sorry that I don't like it at all. I own and love Ana Abiyed Leather and Ard Al Zaafaran's Daar Al Shabab, I beleve Oud Al Sahraa has the kind of character as these two fumes have. But this one is too sour, bitter and doesn't have leathery vibe. I was glad to read the positive reviews bellow I partly based my purchase on them, but I also wanted share my bad experince as a Lattafa fan with Oud Al Sahraa and suggest to try, as much it is an option, before you buy it. PS: Fragrantica's note breakdown is just wrong. Top note: mandarin Heart notes: myrrh and oud Base notes: woody note and amber

Love performance and price. Dislike the scent itself. Piercing unpleasant choker, mix of scanky fake oud and sweaty armpit smell. Unless that armpit painted in orange color, I don't know what amber they could be possibly talking about. To me the third accord in it should be skanky animalic leather, not amber.

I just received my bottle today hopping it smells like Fragrance du bois Sahraa, well first of all this is good perfume BUT it has nothing to do with fragrance du bois Sahraa which I have. This is a smoky oud cardamom with little amber little leather little saffron. Surprisingly this is more like a smoky version of Roja enigma which I own too. It has the same sparkling quality but this is more smoky more oud. But fragrance du bois 🤔 No way this has no similarity at all on any stage of the fragrance life.

Really interesting and good. I think I'm getting orange, cumin, musk, patchouli, amber and oud. The only one I am absolutely certain about is the cumin. Cumin + musk often = armpit and tbh I like that. This is definitely a little skanky. it has a kind of spicy cola thing happening without being overly sweet. Tough one to describe but really nice, it's overall giving a spicy, earthy, musky profile. I wouldn't call it safe for blind buy, you're gonna have to be someone who likes things a little skanky.

The perfume is a combination of BAfgano in a milder form and wood from Raghba wood intense only without the smoke... it's a nice combination but it doesn't last long... after a hour or two it turns into a skin scent... I don't have anything in particular to complain about except durability and projection.

This is extremely heavy for the heavyweights Oud costumers. Extremely Bomb. Its a solid comparison with Sarhaa from FDB. And Wow... You are going to heard a lot about this one right here. Affordable price and a Nuclear Bomb. Mark my words.

I've been looking into this, the only notes list I can find is Top Orange Middle Myrrh Bottom Oud..does that seem right to those who have smelled it? Close?

If the devil would ware perfume, it would be this one. Dark, woody, smoky, wicked stuff. For me 10/10. Try before buy.
