Oud Mood offers an intriguing take on a gourmand oud with oriental depth and allure. It opens with saffron, cinnamon, and nutmeg, but these do not sting the nose like powdered spices might. Instead, the composition is dense and creamy, almost buttery right from the start. Despite some claims of rubbery notes, I found no trace of such an accord here. Instead, what I experienced was a more refined and balanced introduction. Equally absent was the strong presence of rose or any alcoholic sharpness that some might detect. What others may perceive as an alcoholic rose is, to me, the saffron melding with the animalistic oud — an interaction that may be challenging for some to fully grasp. As the scent develops, it shifts into a slightly incense-like wood. A smoky, leather-like oud emerges from beneath the spices. The drydown is vanilla-laden, and reminiscent of roasted caramel. There is no candy-like sweetness here; instead, it evokes a thick pudding or a dense syrup. With every passing moment, it becomes more gourmand, like caramel ice cream drizzled with burnt sugar and sprinkled with pralines. The complexity of this fragrance is remarkable, almost like several perfumes in one. It evolves continuously, each layer adding more depth to the experience. The projection is strong, and the longevity is outstanding, ensuring the scent lingers for hours. This is a unisex fragrance but leans more towards the feminine side, especially with its sweet, caramelized undertones, and it is better suited for colder weather. I was fortunate enough to purchase this fragrance for just €12, but I believe many would be willing to pay 5 or even 10 times that amount for such a scent. The craftsmanship here is evident. That said, it's important to note that this is not a universally appealing fragrance. It's polarizing. It's the kind of scent that demands attention, and not everyone will be ready to give it. It's one of those perfumes that will spark debates — some will love it, while others might wrinkle their noses. For some, the intensity and complexity may be overwhelming, and the dark, sweet nature of the scent could be off-putting. But for those who appreciate a gourmand perfume with depth and intricacy, this is a standout choice. Interestingly, according to Lattafa's official website, the fragrance pyramid presented by other sources is incorrect, which is something I noticed while reviewing it as well. What's printed may not align with what you actually smell, adding another layer of intrigue to this already fascinating perfume. A real treat for oud lovers, and a must-try if you are one. Intoxicating. Sensual. Traditional. at my nose : A lot of saffron, with rose and a spicy note (without being able to say what it is exactly); caramel-like sweetness is here straight from the opening to the drydown – that reveals even more of it, with some balsamic/resinous undertone, with its hint of musk. Incensy, earthy-patchouli, a bit of wood, a lot of floral. my personal thoughts : One of my favorite middle eastern perfume. A classic/traditional blend. I'm in love with Oud Mood. I LOVE this DNA; it’s addictive, warm and sexy. You have to love saffron (its metallic, medical almost, quality) in order to appreciate this perfume. Oud Mood is floral (with rose predominantly), sweet, even creamy, with a beautiful mix of wood and incense (that tone down a little after a while). I can smell patchouli in the mix, but it remains soft. Nothing « weird » about the oud for most of people (I think lol) - but I don't think it's a safe blind buy, except if you are already akeen to this kind of scent profile. Unisex. Not sure about how it would suit hot temperature; it’s fall/autumn here for now and it’s GORGEOUS in cold weather. Very long last lasting – especially on clothes. Pretty strong. The scent on the skin is mmmmh ! Someone in another review said « this is not for the timid » and I totally agree. Can’t wait to see how Oud Mood will develop with maturation because I’m already loving it so much now – and I’ve my bottle for only 2 months. the vibe : A dark, mysterious, and beautiful woman/man, exhuding an air of royalty - magnetic and elegant. There is something noble in her/his sight. Sitting on a leather chair with velvety cushions, large silky curtains on a window, opened to a starry sky. Over a lush garden, moon is bright, night is calm. Vanilla (medium-brightness-level of vanilla suitable for spring) and some jammy rose (ie the artificial rose scent used in desserts). Thick and dense scent up close (still spring-appropriate because it's not dark), which makes this intoxicating to smell off your arm; but the sillage is airy vanilla. No perceptible oud in my bottle. No perceptible incense or smoke in my bottle. The vanilla has maybe 20% caramel mixed in, but I don't get an actual perceptible caramel. It's really just vanilla and some jammy rose. The sillage is airy vanilla and intoxicating - one of the best sillages I've smelt. The sillage smells more airy and bright than when smelt up close - even more so in the heat of summer. Along with all of this, it was harsh up close and there was an odd savoury salty meat smell equally as prominent to the vanilla! However, after 5 full months of maturation (with ~20 sprays spent over that time), there is no more savoury salty meat smell, and up close it smells smooth and amazing. I still would've worn this with the savoury salty meat smell because the sillage still smelt amazing and like airy gourmand vanilla. However, now even up close this fragrance is impeccable. Slightly feminine leaning because of the bit of jammy rose, but I'll still wear this as a guy. On a guy, the jammy rose component may be interpreted as elegant rather than particularly feminine. 2 hours into the dry-down, the rose tones down a bit and it's such an intoxicating vanilla with a touch of jammy rose. You must spray on a test strip and smell the 2-hour dry-down and experience this for yourself - it's so good. Fantastic performance. All-seasons except for the hotter summer days. Unisex, slightly leaning feminine. This is about a 9.5/10 for me, and one of the best all-seasons vanillas on the market (once maturated).

after some maceration, i get why people say they smell wet wipes on this. However, its just an initial smell, and soon fades of into this addictive, sweet and rich scent. Perfect for the coldest days of winter. Rest of the year - not that much. Performance is great; longevity on this is insane. On skin, you can spray it in the morning and still pick up some scents when you next wake up. On fabrics its even more crazy; all my scarfs smell of it, even after a week. I once gifted my ex a teddy bear on which i sprayed it couple times, and she told me she could still smell it strongly after almost a month (no kidding). It's hard to judge the projection on this scent however, as its a smell which your nose doesnt get used to that easily, so you will be smelling it on yourself throughout the day, no matter what you are doing. I've been told though, that it leaves a "tail", so i guess it really is that good. If i had to say, who that fragrance is for, I really couldnt give a straight answer. To me its a perfect unisex; the flowery notes feel somewhat feminine, while the sweet, ambery undertone make it suited also for men. I could also say its suited for all age groups. This was my first blind buy though, so i might be a little biased, but for that price, you should really consider it. If you dont like it, surely someone else will. Also, dont be mislead by the name; there is no Oud to be found in it. 8/10

I had to wait to review this one because I was on the fence. At first I didn’t think I liked it but kept sneaking a spray when I walked by. I’m sure I’m going to knock someone out with this because I quickly go anosmic sadly and can’t tell if I’m overspraying. My husband hasn’t said he can taste my perfume yet with this one (a frequent statement when I’m too heavy handed) so I think I’m okay. Anyway, it’s very sweet and I get the caramel. Definitely oud, but not barnyard or skanky oud, just a sweet woodiness that grounds the fragrance. A little of the rose, a little of the saffron, don’t really get the pimento. I do like it. I haven’t worn it out yet, but have enjoyed wearing it around the house so far! Update 1/8/25: Well. Apparently this takes 8 months to sit and be ignored. I got this back in May and tried it around the house, but then southern summer hit, which would NOT be an appropriate time to do a real wear test, so I stuck it in the fragrance closet and forgot about it. Until today. Oh my. It’s GORGEOUS now! Sweet and the oud has mellowed to a nicer incense rather than a screechy barnyard. So, like most ME fragrances, letting it sit and mature is key to this beauty. I just did one spray on my hand to see if I liked it and I keep sniffing my hand so I think I’m going to spray it all over and see how we do today! Really impressed with this now.

Note: This review was written before the fragrance had time to macerate. I may update it at a later date. This is a stunning fragrance. On my skin, Oud Mood remains consistent from start to finish—rose, oud, and a honeyed incense note that lingers throughout. It’s like a deep red rose petal, gently smoked in sweet resinous haze. To my nose, this leans feminine, yet I believe it could be striking on a man as well. The scent evokes hues of red, black, and amber, making it feel more suited for nighttime rather than under a blue sky. That said, its relatively close-to-skin projection makes it quite wearable during the day too. This fragrance was also one of my early encounters with Lattafa—back when I was unaware of the existence of counterfeits. I accidentally purchased a fake bottle. It was very convincing in appearance: marked “Made in P.R.C.,” the cap was likely plastic instead of metal, lacking the embossed Lattafa logo, and the ribbon was black with gold print. The scent inside, however, was completely different. It carried an almost animatic oud note hovering uneasily between pleasant and repellent, with a certain beast-like wildness. Now, I’ve learned to spot the signs on product pages. Unfortunately, most Lattafa fragrances sold at “Fair price” prices on my country’s Amazon are still these fakes.

This scent is AMAZING... The opening is quite spicy, and oudy, you get really strong hits of the pimento for the first 10-15 minutes. After about 20-30 minutes the woods, and spices chill out. This is when the caramel, amber, resins, and incense come out to play. This scent projects with enough power to announce itself, while holding back enough to create some mystery.... where does this magical scent come from that seems to just be floating on invisible clouds in the air. The scent is sticky, warm, resinous, sweet, and the oud and pimento hang out in the background to provide just enough spice to remind anyone who might want to question this scents power, that it is NOT weak. The florals bounce in and out of the cloud of scent, and surrounding the cloud is a light, airy, warm musk to keep all of the fragrant players close enough together to keep the finished fragrance intact. Beautiful.... It is definitely for colder months. I would say evenings by the fire, or in a cozy pub with friends would be the PERFECT environment.... Or any space during the cold dark winter where you want to bring an air of warmth, mystery, and sweetness to the atmosphere; would be perfect for this scent. I look forward to trying out the rest of this line by Lattafa.

Oud Mood opens on my skin with a spicy,moderatly sweet,oudy and resinous rose laying on top of a cozy ambery vanilla. Don't be afraid of oud.It's clean,pleasant and soft. As time goes by,he becomes slightly smoky and musky,more woody and with a strong presence of vanilla and sandalwood. Oud Mood has some similarities to Oud Bouquet by Lancome and Oud and Rose by Al Rehab. Longevity - 10/10(12+ hours) Silage/Projection - 7,5/10(moderate projection and silage for the first 1-2 hours,than sits closer to skin for the duration of the scent's evolution) Weather -best in autumn,winter and early spring. Age - 28+ Compliments(low-medium-high) - medium Scent - 8,5/10 Main notes according to me - oud,rose,ambery vanilla,resins,spices,caramel. The drydown is smoky,woody,musky and moderatly sweet and I get some -vanilla,patchouli,sandalwood and incense. Emotions -promise Of love,romance,sensual,seductive. I was so damn nervous about this blindbuy. The name scared me, I'm new to the oud game. Decided to try this cheapy to get more familiar to oud. Cute quality bottle! I adore Lattafas creativity considering their prices. Now let me tell you, Oud mood is an beautiful perfume! I was afraid of something beastly, strong almost pungent. But it smells divine. I find it so smooth, no notes take over the other. There ́s this perfect balance of notes. Sweetness from the caramel, a lovely surprise to me. Resinous from its incense and oud with some rich varm amber. There’s some soft potpurri rosy floral in the background that gives a feminine touch to it. I can't wait to layer this and play around. It will transform any boring perfume darker more oriental. It’s strong so I always spray myself armslength away. I would wear this on a warm cozy get-together in a cottage by the fireplace, cold weather/nightime appropriate for sure. I feel like I'm wrapped in the most perfectly sweet delicious scentbubble of rich oriental incensy goodness when I wear this. I feel sophisticated and put together!

I live in Southeast Asia and the price point is absurdly cheap, it felt wrong for me to get this thing just for under 14 usd. For that price, you'd get a fragrance that could compete with other designer fragrances on the 60-80 usd range in terms of performance and scent profile. I'm holding a 2022 bottle and the performance is way above average, round about 10 hours of longevity on skin. But i'm not gonna lie that i'm having suspicions that my bottle has been somehow reformulated due to my discovery of an ingredients sticker plastered over the ingredients list originally printed over the box (or in this case, tube) I've tried removing it slowly and carefully but damn thing got damaged nonetheless, so i decided not to. such a shame that i could've gotten an older bottle like 2019 or around that period, that one has to be a beastly performer. But overall, i'm happy with what i have right now. 117 days since the first spray, now the scent is better than ever. Blended beautifully, and the bump in performance due to maceration is definitely noticeable.

I literally just got this about 2 hours ago and I couldn’t wait to say something about how much I love this fragrance 😭 idk much about longevity though the projection is amazing so far! it’s warm and sweet but not gourmand, dark and sensual without being overly grown-up (if that makes sense, like it’s definitely mature but not grandma-y), and blends super well imo. The heart of oud, incense, amber, and musk blends so perfectly with the rose/floral, and caramel and the patchouli (and i think the resin note too, it might be what I like so much tbh, i haven’t smelled another perfume with a resin note so I’m not sure haha it could be the amber too which is def one of favorites) elevates it into something i am immediately obsessed with. This is very much a gorgeous woody, sweet, sensual fragrance that i literally can’t stop sniffing on my wrist. I don’t think it’s too masculine but I could just like masculine fragrances, to me it’s a nice unisex. After masceration I may have get married to it ngl... Lattafa you will always be famous!

I'm a little late to the party on this one. This is my first Arabian oud purchase. I've smelled oud before, and we have a love hate relationship 😊. I tend to like a sweeter oud. I always heard this is beginner friendly. It is a dark sweet resinous scent, but it's called oud mood for a reason. The oud is there, but it's beautifully wrapped in caramel. Even though it's not an animalic skanky oud, you have to like oud to enjoy the fragrance. I'm looking forward to wearing this in colder weather. No regrets on my purchase 😊. Edit: I had to come back and add a few more thoughts. I've had this for 10 months now. I pulled it out just to see if the scent had changed. I can honestly say this is a traditional masterpiece. It is so smooth and well blended. It smells regal n rich. I've added a few more ouds to my collection, but this will always be my gold standard. I think this is a fragrance that I will always have in my collection. It may be an oldie but it is definitely a goodie 🥰

I can’t overstate how mouthwateringly delicious and comforting this is. I always keep some sprayed on my cozy home sweater because it is so reassuring and sweet. Like a perfect sticky chewy desert. The first few days I had it the incense struck me as very strong and overwhelming. I embarrassed myself by wearing some to a meeting and sitting there hoping I wasn’t bothering everyone with the strong incense smell. But now that I have gotten acclimated to it the incense has fallen completely into the background behind the ultra caramely deliciousness, and I mainly wear it at home. It’s the perfect thing for cuddling up in a blanket. There is also a very cooling and refreshing aspect to it now for me on the top notes just after spraying, I believe it is the musk. It is like a cool drink of water when you are very thirsty which then slides away into the cozy caramel oud. Sometimes it is good with a spritz of choco musk on top, or in combination with a cozy BPAL oil. So good.

This was a blind buy from the early days of my budding perfume addiction. Walmart I think. It's authentic surprisingly and actually pretty damm good. I didn't give it enough credit at first because Al Haramain's Amber Oud Gold had burnt my perception filters for these scents. After ignoring it for a good long time, I reopened it and fell in oud love! ❣️ This perfume is wonderfully sweet and powerful but won't burn your sinuses like the one I mentioned above. I learned it's a dupe for Oud Bouquet or something but it's beautiful on its own. I'm glad I kept it and have worn it several more times. It's a beast for longevity and sillage and mixes well with wood heavy scents, incense and tobacco leaf scents and bright yellow florals believe it or not. Feels generic at first but makes a great go-to when you're in the mood for amber oud with more incense and fewer floral notes. 😌 7/10 Generous amount for very little cost. Great performance.

For some reason this fragrance reminds me of christmas food. I ́ts like a bread dipped in some liquor with cinnamon, and salty caramel. I actually like this for everyday use but not enough to be a staple, for that, I prefer Ameer al Oudh which smells spicy fresh, and I prefer that effect on me. The sillage is also something that does not surprise me as much, overall maybe that is the main reason why I wouldn ́t re-purchase, because after 3 hours it becomes a skin scent. Edit: There ́s Something here that I ́m not quite enjoying, it ́s too chemical like there ́s too much alcohol it becomes pungent, and like it can ́t decide if it will be sweet or oudy or boozy, and its like too much happening, and it remains like this throughout the whole experience. I ́m wearing it as fast as I can so it ́ll be over, and I can ́t give it away bc not everybody around my circle likes it either :*/ I tried but it will not cooperate.

I thought I hated Oud. Welp, apparently I hate in warmer weather because I just revisited this (bottle has been maturing since about March/April when I bought it and was on the fence then) and I actually am enjoying it right now. It layers BEAUTIFULLY with Sweet Whiskey from BBW and the berries in that give this an additional depth and beauty I really like. It’s sweet but not like in a candy cloying teeny bopper way. Not at all. This is not a young girl’s fragrance! This is a grown ass woman fragrance. Not necessarily equated to age, but the way one holds themselves. There’s smoky incense, sweet caramel, and this spicy pimento note that I vacillated on whether or not I like. It’s fine in cooler fall weather but I did not like it in the summer when I tried the fragrance to check how it was developing. Not a safe blind buy, but it’s cheap enough that someone daring may risk it.

Another blind buy at recommendation of my favourite Youtube reviewer. My first, out-there-fragrance, I stepped outside on my boundaries and wanted to try something new. The packaging & bottle is gorg! The circular box and braided gold rope had me feeling like I was releasing Alaadin. It was love & first sight. First spray, I could smell alcohol, in the realm of a very fine port. I don't mind the smell but don't want to smell boozy. When the fragrance sat for 10 minutes I was introduced to a beautiful mix of oud, patchouli, and sex. I was immersed in a bed of silk pillows, the night was crisp but the sky clear and I was dazzled by a world of stars. My lover is sated, naked & snoring softly. I kiss his forehead gently and this is the fragrance I smell as the sheet rises and our... Errrrrp. Fantasy End. Note to Self: don't wear this to work! Sexy-sexy time only. XO

Ok I’m obsessed with this it’s stunning it’s to me like a milk chocolate creamy oud but unfortunately it doesn’t last the way I want it too I’m going to see about getting the perfume oil in it it says unisex I would say definitely but more feminine because it’s gormand the first 30mins is heaven strong rich oud coco vanilla it does have that slight medical detol cleaning scent which is a pine smell so I am thinking that is the Woodsy note but it dies down..it does last as a skin scent very sweet warm and almost like palmers coco butter with oud you can eat yourself perfect for winter the bottle and packaging are amazing so luxurious and for the price you really can’t say no to this but it’s not amazing silage I like to smell it a mile away so il just have to respray every so often to get that bang if anyone has any recommendations let me know.

When I first sprayed this, I was caught off guard. It was a blind buy and smelled nothing like I anticipated. It opened up sharply and smelled similar to Mancera’s Instant Crush with less sweetness. I didn’t hate it but had to give it some time. It was a similar feeling to when you take a sip of a drink you expect to be cola but it turned out to be seltzer water. But this dry down. Oh my goodness. The dry down on me is saffron, soft, powdery (unlit) incense and brown sugar. This smells like a dominant, wealthy and sexy woman. Maybe in her 30s or 40s. Expensive pant suit- not evening gown. Diamond stud earrings. Low bun. Only mascara and red lips. Effortlessly gorgeous and in charge of everything. Her employees can’t tell if they have a crush on her or want to be her.

Yes I am Middle Eastern but God I can't do pure oud well. It is too pungent and i can't believe some people wear Oud centric perfumes early in the morning to work!! Now this oud is how I like my oud to be. Soft, gentle and merciful. I also don't like Saffron. Not on my food and definitely not on my skin or clothes. However I don't detect Saffron in this perfume which is great. This perfume is very sweet and caramelly though but I don't mind it since it was masterfully done well and helped to tone the oud down. A great start into oud for western noses that are maybe not familiar with oud or find it too powerful. Don't overspray though or the caramel will be too powerful and too sweet. Good as a room and bed spray too since it is gentle and comforting.

I wanted a fragrance that smell Like oud but I didn't want any spice because I'm not into it, but rather than that, I prefer something sweet, so I opted for This fragrance, Oud Mood, absolutely amazing, I did the best choice, man it hits different, it's so loud and the performance is a beast, The Oud is always on top and you smell switeness with it, sometimes I smell Oud+floral and sometimes Oud+Caramel, if you don't like sweet fragrances just skip this one, for me it's not feminine at all, whenever people hear or smell Rose or Florals, they immediately think it's for Women, but that's not the case, even though it's sweet but the Oud does it's part to make it balanced. highly recommend for those who wants a classical Arabian sweet fragrance.

This is gorgeous! If you see the notes and know that you like this sort of very traditional Middle Eastern formula, then there is no reason why this would be an unsafe blind buy. Spray it lightly and then enjoy the stages from opening to dry down. Makes me feel like the priestess hanging around the oasis in a tent, burning incense and rubbing my skin and hair with perfumed ointment. I can see it layering well with other perfumes, giving them rich depth and warmth. Tried it side-by-side with Pavilion by Andrea Maack and they are pretty close. No disrespect to the artistry that is the house of Maack, especially as the dry down is divine. Just can't believe I got something so similar and of great quality and longevity for under $20.

I bought Oud Mood about eight months ago. At the time, I found it beautiful, yet far too intense to wear. It felt like a beast—intimidating, almost overwhelming—so I set it aside. For me, this is a fragrance that demands courage to wear. It draws a lot of attention. Today, however, I appreciate it even more than when I first bought it. With time, the composition feels more harmonious, more nuanced, and less linear. The opening is wild: fiery chili pepper and saffron burst forth, followed quickly by patchouli and oud. Then comes a storm of woods, amber, resin, incense, spices, and roses—an explosion that is both intoxicating and commanding. Its richness is delightful—and especially impressive for a fragrance at this price point.

This opened up with very sharp alcohol smelling oud. Immediately followed by a nice rose that isn’t too jammy, caramel, and some spiciness. Give it 5-10 mins and the alcohol scent simmers down. Sharpness still there but it’s becoming subtle, sometimes Oud can come off this way. As it dries down it becomes a lot more ambery with a bit of smokiness. All the other notes still very much present. My coworker said it smells like a candy shop, and didn’t think it was too feminine for a man. The Patchouli adds a nice masculine touch. Projection is beast mode so I wouldn’t overspray this one. 2-3 sprays should be sufficient. Cold weather, formal leaning. Not a safe blind buy unless you’re really into the rose oud combination.

This is an absolutely beautiful scent that I find myself reaching for every day. When I first sprayed it - it was nice... but it really began to shine after I let it macerate for several months. WOW! It has a gorgeous dry down that makes me think of warm caramel and brown sugar. It's a warm and inviting scent that gives me the sensation of being enveloped in a warm hug. Of note, this scent is not well suited for humidity or closed environments, as it can become a bit cloying. The longevity well exceeds 6+ hours and it has beast mode projection. If you like sweet, warm, incense-y scents then you will love this. The price for this beauty is also shockingly low. I got this as a blind buy and I have zero regrets!

Stunning sweet and smoky oud with a lot of amber. The smokiness has a burnt sugar like smell and comes out too good in the drydown. I couldn't get much of floral notes(maybe because I am new to fragnances or because it needs some maturation as I just sprayed out of the bottle for the first time today). Like some of my other friends say, it is a winter and early spring fragnance. Can also be used on a dark rainy days. Absolutely not to be worn on a hot sunny day. Lasts all day for about 8-10 hours on skin and can be felt in clothes even the day after. I did just 2 sprays on me today and it projected wild for about 3 hours straight. Great, complex oud fragnance to enjoy. Please don't overspray this scent :)

I just got this perfume for my mom who is really into oud arabian fragrances (her most loved one is opulent musk by lataffa which I lowkey cant stand bcs the oud is waaaay too intense and smells horrible on me), and is so beautiful, sweet and warm. I would honestly wear it too. The oud doesnt feel synthetic, its dark and pleasant, the caramel is there which makes it so warm and edible. For me this was a blind buy and I think is a safe one. I liked it from the first puff and I insist on the fact that its not an obnoxious oud. As for the sillage I gotta say ITS THERE, as I am writing this I cant unsmell it (I sprayed one puff on my wrist). I dont know about longevity yet but Im assuming its a good one.

If Opulent Oud by Lattafa and Saffron by Monotheme had a child it would be Oud Mood. At first I got a bit irritated by the pimento but after a while it backs off and it all falls into place. I personally find it a bit too weak, it stays close to the skin and it definitely can't fill the room and I so much wanted exactly that. I wear it in a pretty warm weather now, about 28 C and I honestly doubt it will project any better in colder days. The sweetness is not in your face, just the right amount for one to become even more interested in how the scent will open up and progress with the time. Overall safe buy for Oud lovers. It is sexy, mysterious, really gorgeous. For the price it's a gem.

This is some nice stuff! Believe me if you are into Oud Based fragrances then you definitely should give this a try. I have this and Swiss Arabian Shaghaf as well and both of these are like 90% similar. There is some synthetic vibe that you might get in the opening but it goes away soon and afterwards its just beautiful. If you don't like sweet or oud fragrances, then this isn't for you. It has GREAT performance and very long lasting with good projection as well and if you look at the price, I don't see why someone would not recommend this. I prefer the opening of Shaghaf to this since its more intense and less synthetic but overall this is some nice stuff and definitely worth a try.

This was a bit of a tough one for me, at first. I didn't like it at all, but I let it macerate for a few days and that changed everything. It's so good and unique. I love oud, woody, Amber, spicy scents, so this is perfect and truly unisex. If you don't like oud, it should go without saying that you won't like this. It's pretty strong at first, but then it seems to go away quickly. When you think it's gone, someone will compliment you on the way you smell. I think you're the only one who can't smell it. It's usually when I'm hugging someone that I get the compliment. I'm absolutely in love with this scent now and mix it with so many other perfumes.

I was little sceptical about it after reading many negative reviews. My god, I am blown away. This is real bomb.🤣🤣 Love it. Great combination of oud and roses with a touch of saffron.It reminds me of a Indian rose water that I used to own. Longevity is great, on skin I easily get 10+ hours and on clothes it lingers untill the next wash. Blind buying was a risk but dammn it smells so good. But still I wouldn’t recommend a blind buy. Get a decant and then decide. Note : I definitely get roses, not a western style rose scent but the rose scent you can find in traditional attars and rose water. To be more precise roses mixed with little bit of sandal.

Nose Note #69 What a beauty. Not overly sweet incense-heavy fragrance. It's about oud and caramel, the rose sits quietly on top. Perfectly unisex. May not be so memorable. The sweet oud-rose is not rare. A beastly beast performer. Not saying it can scare people away with intensity, not at all. It's present enough for a very long time, uncountable. If you apply on skin, it permeates through clothes and sticks to it. I never thought oud-rose-caramel would be my thing. But it's there so perfectly. May not be the most striking DNA, but it's very good. And the value makes you cry the tears of a longtime begger that received a generous donation

Im on my 2nd bottle. This is not for the timid. I have over 100 perfumes but in the cooler months they tend to get pushed aside due to Oud mood. OM is great to layer with. I will admit at 1st I thought, I cant wear this out, no one will like it. I only wore her at home. Then I decided to be bold and got so many compliments. I was so happy that other people appreciated this fragrance. Im so obsessed that I spray it on before going to bed. Also it only gets better with maturation. If you are afraid of her strength start with just one spray....hope you love this one as much as me. I would love to run into more people wearing it out.

Not me positively showering myself with glee on a hot, dry summer’s day & immediately upon its arrival. Oud rules? Broken. This perfume? Obsessed. This all started for me with Shaghaf Oud Elixir, then came the og Shaghaf Oud, & now this. They are remarkably similar — except the Elixir, whose clary sage note is amazing and unique — but all share this sensual, chocolatey Oud base. I can’t get enough, so having this many bottles makes sense to me but might be too similar for others who already own either Shaghaf. I layered it with Almeer Al Oud Intense also just to see how the smoke would compliment her and its delightful. 🔥

I just put this perfume on for the first time today and I'm loving it. This is actually going to be one of my top fragrances for sure! When I first sprayed it on me, the opening smell was kind of different to me lol but the dry down of it was amazing! After the dry down is when you get this beautiful floral, oud smell and It's the perfect blend in my opinion. I got a compliment about this as well and that made me actually like the perfume even more! Lol 🤣🤣 I will say that I would put this as more of a female scent than unisex, but that's just my opinion. All in all, this perfume is definitely in my top three!

Holy smokes. I blind bought it and instantly fell in love. This perfume is a VERY sweet one. It has two of my all time favorite notes in a perfume. Patchouli and Oud. ANY perfume that has these two notes lasts on my skin and chlotes insanely well. It's a very sweet perfume, I can smell the caramel and the oud in the opening, and then slowly the patchouli, saffron and amber. There is some darkness to this perfume, I would say it's a very sexy scent perfect for a night out. It lasts on my skin for days at a time. And it is so affordable, payed 20$ for it. Lattafa has been killing it with their fragrances. 10/10

Ohhhh this is a heavy hitter! You do not need to overspray this one. On paper I did not care for this. On my skin this is much better. Definitely wait 20-30 minutes to allow for the dry down. I do not get as much of the rose as others. I am going to say unisex with maybe a slight lean more feminine . I would not consider this office friendly. This is definitely a cool weather fragrance. I can imagine the scent sticking to your clothes. If you are dipping your toe into the work of oud, this is a great one to add to your collection for under $20.

When I first bought this (blind buy, based on notes) it turned immediately musky-masculine on my skin (a regular occurrence on me sadly, as I bring out earthy, musky notes), but I let it mature in the cupboard for a few months and now it is a deep, sweet amber rose and warm woody oud. I genuinely like it - sits slightly more feminine now imo, but is still very unisex. A proper SWANA (middle-eastern) fragrance, and beautiful. Had compliments day-one of wearing it. If you like deeper sweet woods, this is lovely once matured.

Anyone who owned this bottle for years noticed the scent get richer? I revisited this since it’s summer and I haven’t been touching oud(I know I’m guilty! Oud in summer... but I just had to visit this again.) The scent matured so much. Yes the opening is still somewhat harsh but the drydown is heavenly it’s so smooth now. The Oud and caramel are so well blended now. There’s a specific note in this fragrance that makes it so addicting. I can’t tell what it is but when I inhale it then hold my breath it smells so appealing.

Got a full bottle. It opens with a very clean and soapy Rose. Pimento is only there if you think about it but it's not that prominent. The saffron is sometimes there, sometimes not. However the saffron it's not as sweet honey-ish like in Orientica Oud Saffron. The oud it's the best part of this perfume. It's so gorgeous, opulent, elegant, I love it. Worst part for me it's the drydown. Can't stand that resin note. Performance it's out of this world. No more than 2 sprays on this one. Top 3 lattafas for sure. Totally unisex

The perfect oud! This is such a solid oud scent and perfect for oud lovers and also those that are new to it. I usually layer this with another Lattafa (usually a sweeter one) just to bring some more depth and complexity but it is also beautiful on its own. Smoky oud, caramel, rose, saffron, woods, spices...this perfume has it all and I’m here for it. Lattafa has quickly become my new favorite perfume house and with good reason: high quality perfumes, beautiful packaging and presentation and very affordable price point!

This is one of my two daily-wear fragrances all year round. I teach piano in a relatively small room and people ask where my diffuser is because my room smells so good! But it’s me. :) It’s not cloying at all, and while it has sillage, it isn’t a kind that makes people upset. It is long lasting and ultimately very soothing even though it is very present. I bought this blind because I love a big scent, and it is absolutely a winner and has been on repeat for me since the first purchase a couple of years ago.

This brings back bitter sweet memories. I remember laying in my room at night on the top bunk bed. My brother would keep the window open on a Summer night. I remember laying in my bunk and could smell the wind outside mingling with the cologne I put on earlier in the day and my brothers piss soaked mattress from being a bed wetter. If you added baby powder and the smell of furniture polish to the aforementioned, you'd have this amazing scent! Buy it! You won't regret it! It's nostalgia in a bottle!

oud-y, smokey, resinous, with a healthy dose of brown sugar and amber to even it out. NOT A SAFE BLIND BUY and the first spray is going to scare you if you’re not used to oud. that being said, this is still a tame oud in the grand scheme of things. it’s really a wait for the dry down kind of fragrance. that’s when you really get an idea of what it’s all about. it relaxes quite a bit on the skin. if you like ameer al oudh and want to dip your toes more into oud fragrances, this is worth a sample.

Crazy underrated fragrance. I got this for my girlfriend and love smelling it on her. The oud is very inoffensive and with the rose sweeteness and incense creates a beautiful scent that performs great too. Anyone who shits on this fragrance should be banned from this website. Unless this is some kind of a batch problem lol. Anyways this scent is perfect for fall/winter and its suuuper intoxicating. In a good way. And the packaging is super creative with the bottle design feeling premium aswell.

Most of you are young bucks and it shows. The moment I sprayed this both me and my wife instantly smelled Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds purfume. But once it drys down it becomes more masculine as it starts of extremely feminine in the opening. The Caramel mixed with the Oud Wood and Musk takes it from extremely feminine to Unisex slightly masculine to my nose. If you love this opening and you are young, go get your nose on the Original Scent... Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds.

I crave this scent. I use to be very confuse about how it smelled because it’s like sweet spicy caramel rum with pimento, but now after a while it has become like more mature and more interesting. My bf loves this on me and is always smelling my shoulders and kissing them hahah. Now, when I smell it, I want to smell like it all the time, like I drench myself. It lasts very long and it’s a very sensuous scent, appealing to the senses. Definitely will repurchase.

This is a safe blind purchase for newcomers to oud and encense scent , its about sweet aromatique safron with touch of arabian perfume style. Projection its beast but longevity it's about 4h maximum It's a cool weather perfume, possible to wear it in hot weather only at night in open space If we will compare this to: Lancome Oud Bouquet:Someone who has a degree with experience OUD MOOD:Someone who has a degree without experience

Honestly, when I first sprayed this it was the most disgusting oud I've ever smelt. It was like a mix of wet dog and burnt hair. After letting it sit on my skin for an hour or two it turned into a wonderful, sweet dark amber fragrance. The performance on this is extreme. I got a compliment on it at the gym the day after applying. All told, I'm a little scared to apply it right before work. But, it's a wonderful scent overall.

I tested this fragrance in store, and initially wasn't overly impressed. The opening is a blast of Rose, which isn't my favourite note... After 1/2 hours the fragrance dried down and I just had to go back and buy it! This is such a warm, comforting and sexy fragrance. The dry down is Musk, Oud, Incense and Rose, definitely unisex but leans towards feminine. Performance is good, approx 8 hours. Another gem from Lattafa!
