Oud Salama

This is a very good frag for the price. Another Lattafa steal. Although, the bottle i was delivered (i ordered from Al-Rashad) is 4 years old, and expires next year. This kind of pissed me off, but i guess thats what i get for $25. the longevity is Ok at best, and projection is the same. Very light out of the lattafa perfumes i have, around the same performance as Sheikh Shuyukh Khusoosi. As for how it actually smells, it is very fruity, woody, & pleasant. There is a smoky undertone to all the notes that ties them very well together, without taking anything away from them. The fruit combined with oud in the top note makes the fruit smell kind of wine-ish, very deep and luxurious, while remaining sweet. The dry-down has lots of amber & leather. the fruit is still there, just not as present. The oud and wood remain through the entire lifetime of the fragrance. Overall, very pleasant, excellent for price, good for most seasons, heavy and expensive-feeling bottle, good atomizer, and good packaging (as is constant w/lattafa). 8/10 would reccomend.

Another steal! Fruity sweetness on top of leather and oud. It smells divine. Very powerful and long-lasting. The packaging was beautiful and the bottle feels heavy and luxurious. And it does have little pieces of oud in the bottom! It's labeled as unisex and I agree; the sweetness does not overpower the smoky base.

I have had this bottle almost 5 years and it does improve with age I think. Delightfully sweet without any ethyl maltol, and like an exquisite fruity brandy without a boozyness. Fine leather chair, mixed dried fruit brandy and a fire...The little oud bits seem to have infused into this over time. Definitely a keeper for cozy nights in.

Fruity with oud undertone, and a clear ambery background!!! a joyful and simple scent, quite feminine, good for spring and summer, although I think some people may prefer it in the cold months. sillage and longevity: moderate to good.
