Picked this fragrance up for around £10, this is exactly what I expected it to be and I wasn’t disappointed whatsoever this fragrance is lovely, it is a creamy coconut shampoo sunscreen scent that has a mild touch of sweetness that sits close to the skin but in the air this is refreshing gourmand and creamy, reminds me of a coconut conditioner. This is a great pickup if you know what you are getting into and the performance is also above average in my experience needing no maceration at all. No synthetic smells either all natural from what I pickup and detect. Because of the nature of the scent profile I personally think this can be worn practically anytime, I’d lean more winter of course but this can so easily be worn in the gym on a hot summer day with the AC on. This is great stuff. I think this is unisex leaning feminine but as a guy I like this and for sure will wear this. The fragrance gets a solid 7.8/10, this is great on its own but can so very easily be layered with any other fragrance, layered with cream velvet by khadlaj has also been working out very well for me. Please try this out if you can get a deal for around £10, severely underrated.

🎼do you like pina colada’s 🎼...that is my head every time I spray this. That is what you smell until the deep dry down. A sweet, frothy, creamy pina colada. The dry down is coconut vanilla. This is Sum-ma, very tropical, very chill vibe, & it cost $15. Performance has increased the longer it sits & the vanilla has gotten richer. Projects pretty strong for a couple hours, then goes intimate. On skin, I got about 6 hrs before it was gone. On my clothing however, it remains. On a sleep test, the scent is ever present by morning on my clothing, but gone from skin. Now if I layer with an oil, I get a couple more hours out of it. This was 1 of 3 frags took on vacation, perfect beach scent. At the cost you don’t have to worry about reapplying, just spray away. This scent is happy, cozy, and again chill. I love it & will wear to bed this Winter bc of that. I have accumulated many frags the last year & a half, only a handful will have to be repurchased, this is one. 100/10

These were one of the first Arabic perfumes I ever bought. It was a year ago, so they’ve had time to properly macerate. What can I say? The scent – or rather the overall vibe – has stayed the same, but it has become a bit more intense. They’re definitely worth attention. I feel like they "work" as I move – I can smell them around me, in my hair, lingering in the air. And what exactly do I smell? Primarily tropical notes – there’s coconut, but not the fresh, crisp kind. It’s more of a mature coconut that has been lying in the sun for a few days, slightly dried out, but still holding some juice inside. There’s also a hint of pineapple and a piña colada-like vibe. Frangipani and jasmine add a touch of lightness and softness to the composition. In my opinion, even though they’re not super strong, the fragrance is very unique. Honestly – I might end up buying another bottle. Bonus point: it also has a magnetic cap.

This is the scent of a great day. This grew into a masterpiece. When I first sprayed it, it was so synchronistic as it captured the exact scent outside the Villas of Positano on Hollywood Beach FL, specifically near their warm exhaust fan, potentially from the kitchen. That together with the warm salty ocean air is the exact vibe of this fragrance. Beachy scents usually give me a headache, and this is the first one I've found that doesn't at all. It does need to macerate though it quickly balances itself perfectly. Each day is slightly different. Today the Coconut was apparent from the start. Somedays it takes on a masculine bubble gum scent on the skin, though in the air its always a refreshing uplifting warm salty coconut vanilla smooth scent.

This is an absolutely gorgeous summer fragrance. I don’t understand the negative reviews. It’s fruity but not overpowering. I smell coconut, pineapple, gardenia or tuberose and a little bit of musk. As with all of my Middle Eastern fragrances, I opened it, sprayed several times that first day and came back 3 weeks later. This is one of my favorites right now. I imagine it will continue to improve over time. I paid $14.95 on Amazon and it’s totally worth it. I do hate waiting for the fragrances to develop, but they smell wonderful once they do. If you don’t enjoy white florals or sweet fragrances this might not be a safe blind buy. I love sweet, fruity white florals so I felt pretty good spending less than $20 on it. I would give this 8.5/10

This thing is addictive. Tropical beachy very sunscreeny but in a luxurious expensive way, it sticks beautifully to your skin and it's so sweet and delicious and comforting. It's also a tad bit complex, it has many little hints here and there that continue to show you that it's more than what you thought it was. I love it and it smells beautiful as soon as you open it but if you leave it a couple of weeks macerating it only gets even better and more elegant tropical. Love the lactonic base as well. This is delicious. Will be getting seconds. :)) Important: No synthetic cheap smell whatsoever. Goes in the same group as Victoria and Teriaq, no synthetic cheapness at all. Love it.

Such a beautiful, creamy coconut-y scent that leans tropical. When first sprayed, I mainly smelled the pineapple and citrus notes, and it's more of a fresh scent. Then the more it dries down, the more its starts turning into this soft and delicate creamy coconut that is so pleasant to the nose. It reminds me of laying on the beach at like 5pm when the sun is not as strong, with a gentle breeze caressing your skin, and sipping on a pina colada. I'm so excited to see how it's gonna become when macerated because I'm already so in love with it already. Longevity is quite moderate, I'd say about 5/6 hours. Overall this is my go-to scent for the rest of this summer, a solid 9,5/10.

I was hesitant about purchasing this fragrance since I'm not a lover of coconut in fragrances. However, this one really surprised me with how much I really enjoy it. The pineapple and citrus notes really help keep the coconut from becoming overpowering. This dries down to a nice coconutty powdery finish that I really like. I really appreciate this during the Fall months in the deep South. It plays well with the cooler temperatures in the morning but it's still warm in the afternoons. As long as there isn't 100% humidity and temperatures aren't reaching upwards of 95° or higher it's a great reach for. It's a great addition to my collection since I don't have anything like it.

As soon as I opened this & had a spray, I knew I was in love. I also knew before I looked that it was not a freshly produced bottle - it smells too good already. It's weird in how it progresses. Right off, I get mellow coconut, frangipani and a hint of musk. The dry down is FAST though and it quickly turns into a really creamy coconut/pineapple skin scent with touches off and on of vanilla and musk. So. I love the scent but not the longevity and projection. I'm going to be wearing this on my hairbands and scarves. And I might try layering it with Athena. It's early day yet; I will update if needed once this has a little time in the corner to learn to behave.

This smells great! I have been so iffy about this but now that I tested it it's definitely on my radar. It smells like coconut beach lotion with just a tad of piña colada for sweetness. But it's not that sweet. It's a bit linear but it's a 16.99 fragrance. This reminds me is a simple lighter version of Chris Collins Lost in Paradise which I love . It has pretty good performance it's strong on the skin for a good 4 hours which is impressive. And it doesn't really change much just gets a tad sweeter and a little less lotion. It does have the pineapple like the og version of this but it's not that similar. Great stuff ! 7.5/10.

I don't know if people got a bad batch or what, but I LOVE mine. On my skin it blooms as a soft, sweet and milky coconut, with an undertone of soft florals and a hint of pineapple. Its overall an absolutely delicious scent. Ive gotten several compliments from other women when wearing it, so the impression for me is that its less sexy and more relaxed and comfy. Like the sort of scent you want to bury yourself in and just breathe because it makes you feel good. Depending on my mood, Ill layer it with a vanilla, floral or pineapple body spray or oil, and it will bring out that particular note more strongly. Overall, 10/10.

This is the creamiest coconut ever I'm in love! It does take a long time to macerate tho, like I bought this in 2023 lol I wasn't a huge fan but I just pulled it out again because I needed more coconut scents in my life and wow! Let this bad boy sit for a while and you shall get the creamiest of coconuts. Perfect summer beach fragrance Edit: I just looked at some comments and this is not masculine to my nose at all nor do I detect any pineapple. Just cream and coconut to me lol I do believe it had to do with maceration. (I doubt you have to let it sit for years like I did lol )

I LOVE this scent. I know for many, creamy lactonic smells do not mix well with their skin chemistry and can smell just plain off, but for me, this perfume smells AMAZING. I've had my bottle for about 5 months now, and it just gets better and better. I always loved it's creamy, coconutty, vanilla, tropical-fruity scent, but as it ages, it gets smoother and more vanillic. I just got a compliment from a stranger the other day while wearing this, and they said I smelled "SO good!". This perfume made me want to try more and more Middle Eastern perfumes, and I'm so glad I have!

One of my favorites! This one definitely needs to sit for at least two weeks. Mine was good after two weeks. It may continue to improve, but it is already good. It lost some powdery notes as it aged. The notes now blend into a tropical dessert. Sometimes it smells like coconut cream pie, sometimes like a frangipane tart. The sweetness is slight, which prevents it from feeling too much like those bakery gourmands. It is fresh and very cozy. If I were to sum this up in a few words, it is a cozy, creamy tropical fragrance that reminds me of sitting in gentle, warm sunlight.

for me, it starts out as a grassy and earthy scent for some reason, but quickly dries down into a super smooth, sweet and lactonic vanilla and coconut wafer if that makes sense. Imagine melting a box of those raffaello candies. Longevity is not the best on skin, maybe 3-4 hours. On clothes though, i can still smell it after 3-4 days. Projection and sillage are strong for me. Leans slightly feminine, which i like on myself. Overall, this is an extremely good fragrance for the price paid, one which everyone should have in their collection in my opinion.

Currently wearing this at the moment and I'm genuinely surprised at how much I'm liking this. Initially thought the overwhelming plasticky coconut smell was overwhelming, and it still is to a certain degree, but it performs really well and the sillage is great. Pair that with a nice lavender lotion for extra longevity and you're all set! However, I will add that it's not very male-appealing, it's much more feminine-heavy and the intense coconut notes add a ton of sweetness to it. Still a unisex fragrance, but with a bigger female presence than male.

There are so many negative reviews for this fragrance and I’m shocked! I love, love, love this! What I’ve noticed about Lattafa perfumes is you have to let them macerate. This allows for the fragrances to develop and you can then get a real sense for the notes after a while. That’s exactly what happened with this. It was a bit striking for the first spray but after I came back to it I think it’s one of my favorite summer fragrances! I love pairing it with my sweet tropical body sprays. It really is such a lovely powdery coconut powerhouse.

BTW I used to have coconut vanille by mancera and I don't think they are that similar. Sure they have coconut but this for the summer is better. Coconut vanille for me got so strong and sweet that it became heady in the summer. To the point that it smelled more like a concentrated coconut vanilla candle you would use at home. It was too strong. And that's what I like about this one. If it were stronger it would become obnoxious in the summer. It's the perfect sillage.

It's smooth, airy, comforting, and effortlessly elegant. There's a bit of a creamy vanilla pineapple ice cream vibe. Perfect for spring and summer, daytime, and office-friendly. This is a summer fragrance for sure coconut smells very realistic and I like that about it. When I search for coconut fragrances they typically smell like plastic or are accompanied by tiare flower and it makes it smell like sunscreen but this one here is more like a woody powdery sweet coconut without being heady. It is tropical but in an elegant way. I find it very difficult to dislike. It's like coconut, sandalwood and sweetness. Simple yet super pleasant.

Very synthetic. I waited a while before leaving a review because I thought it might change over time. It’s been 8 months since I got it, and it still smells harsh. I get no coconut, but my boyfriend does and he finds the scent sexy—he says it smells like coconut and sex 🤷 UPDATE: OK, this is weird...It improved significantly over time! I LOVE it now! Maturation plays a big role with this one, but it took over a year to get there.

Very lovely.. not too sweet.. I can smell pineapple, coconut and florals.. coconut more than anything but it's not like a very sweet coconut cake.. n,o it is creamy and soothing and airy but not too airy or fresh The creamyness is grounded even more with the woods. I love coconut in Perfumes when done that way.. it's like an unsweetened pinacolada with flowers soaking inside. I can see it as being unisex indeed..

Opens strong with a milky sweet coconut combined with the slight freshness from the florals. Don’t really get pina colada vibes its mainly an almost thick soap like coconut, and it drys down to a powdery vanilla, which I really like. If you expect a light fresh scent it’s not. And if you don’t like very obvious sun cream scents this isn’t for you either but otherwise its perfect for a coconut lover in the summer.

I bought this for the coconut note but I actually don't really smell coconut in this fragrance. I get a lot of sandalwood, florals, vanilla, and a very soft fruity note. When I first sprayed it I was bummed out because I love a coconut perfume BUT this scent really grew on me and I love it for the summertime! My boyfriend described it as the type of sun tan oil you wear on a hot cancun vacation and I agree.

I seriously think some people just got a bad batch. It smells exactly like a coconut lotion or sunscreen. There’s a touch of vanilla but very heavy coconut. It leans a bit feminine???.. I guess if you consider lotion a feminine scent lol. I love it personally. Such a good gift that’s blind buy safe! Everyone is probably gonna just think you have on a very nice sunscreen.

I agree with victorfrankincense below that I get aldehydes, fresh laundry, and peppery notes. I keep coming back to sniff. I get fruit medley but not pineapple and no coconut yet. Addictive to my nose, but inaccurately described. This is my first spray though. I’ll need to revisit it in a month to get the sunscreen or coconut or tropical ness or creaminess.

I own this one and to my nose it is a little too heavy-handed on the Coconut and the Ylang-Ylang for my liking. I love the smell of it in moderation, but someone wearing this in super hot weather could run into the same problem I do when wearing Lattafa Zanzibar: it's too cloying and kinda gross in hot/sweaty weather. (IMO)

lots of negative reviews here but i actually like this scent, its true that im not reaching for this few months after buying but i like it a lot now. coconut, yellow florals, and vanilla, i just wish it has that watery-floral note because it leans too creamy and its kinda heavy to wear this on summer (for a summer scent)

Wowee I love this for summer! On me, the coconut comes across quite powdery, with the tropical notes taking a back seat. i love layering this with a vanilla body lotion Be warned, this one needs to sit and mature for a few months to get the best scent! It doesnt bother me though, i paid £12 for it, an absolute steal.

I love it. You can clearly smell the lactonic notes along with the coconut and the vanilla. One of my personal favorites. I do believe that it needs to rest a bit and macerate, but other than that, i don't really get why this is so off putting from the people in the comments

I do not understand the bad the reviews. this perfume smells flipping good! yes there is a sunscreen smell but in a sun bum, kissed by a handsome man with a coconut drink in his hand kinda way. i will be layering this with my “secret weapon.” perfect summer scent.

This smells so much like coconut and pineapple. My wife went to Florida with her friends and I got this the day after she left. I wish I got it a couple days earlier because it wouldve been perfect for Florida.

This has been sitting in my collection with half of it left. I wore this on a scorching hot day last year and it is not cloying at all. It is a piña colada perfume. I adore it.

Sweet powdery coconut and pineapple

Received today. PAC NW is cold out! I cradled the bottle under my arm to warm it up, then ran it under hot water until I could feel the bottle & liquid coming to room temp. 1st spray: taken aback. I’ve smelled this! I close my eyes & told my nose to tell my brain to figure out from where. Sunscreen is recalled-the rich kind...not Coppertone-more like TF Soleil Blanc, Bain De Soleil Orange Gelee, circa 1987, etc. That vaporized to powdery notes, like Jill Sander’s Original Sun...but that’s not it. The powder continued. Ahh! It’s the citrus groves in California! We used to live there, & citrus can be powdery, wafting a scent you’d swear was Guerlain’s recipe for anything w/heliotrope. Even the common powdery mildew problem can read as a dry funky talc (to my nose) that somehow, when mixed w/ sunshine & orange blossom smells divine... but that’s not quite it either. That passed w/in 1/2 hour. (Mention: 3 sprays-forearm/sleeve.) The next hour was all fruity warmth: not fresh-not bad. (Like leftover flat, warm mimosas f/brunch). Comforting & nostalgic. Makes me want to be in Mexico. Stat. 3-4 hours later, faint yet strong, persistent whiffs of the scent I know well start to play. Ah! Our gardenia bushes! Real gardenia species are over 200+ varieties. Both real & synthetic are subjective. When someone says “ I hate gardenia”, I’m curious as to how many types they’ve smelled. Ours are heady, narcotic, & at 4:00+ pm in the Aug. heat~intoxicating. Really, the whole patio gets turned on. They can make you dizzy; even nauseous if too much of the spicy, creamy, funky bouquet takes over. To me, the indols in jasmine, gardenia, frangipani, etc. can mimic one another & often smell like salted butter that’s a tad rancid, or unwashed hot skin apres gardening-a sour, an indolic aroma that somehow stinks good. * Lush has a shampoo bar (Godiva?) Goddess? that smells JUST like this gorgeous putrid floral you absolutely can’t quit sniffing on your hair. Back to Top notes: A synthetic play doughy type pineapple that later assists in creating that sour butter dry down. It’s the pineapple/guava I’ve smelled many times...Escada flankers, & countless “cocktail” scents. If pineapple juice IRL is added to something w/lactose, it does sour. (I’ve used this acid w/cream in a recipe that required buttermilk when I didn't have any.) The vanilla reads as a feeling to me. Like cardamom, saffron or nutmeg you add to baked goods or a sauce...it can’t necessarily be smelt, but the warmth is felt. I paid more for a BBW “Tropidelic” mist last week. This one is not cheap, just inexpensive. The weighty bottle is exquisite really. Regal looking for $17. The heavy gold magnetized cap snaps closed well. Some of my priciest bottles aren’t this substantial. If you enjoy: Guerlain’s Terracotta, Wag’s Market Caribbean Musk Oil, or Fredric Malle’s Carnal Flower, you may enjoy this. I blind bought this at my local Burlington for $16, and even at that price, I’m disappointed. Not because it smells bad. More because the performance is downright tragic. Let me walk you through this one. Imagine slathering yourself head-to-toe in some high-end hotel hand lotion. Coconut-scented, of course. Now imagine strolling down to the pool, only to find it filled with mysterious Arabic spices. Naturally, you jump in. That’s exactly what this scent is giving. It’s coconut, it's spicy, it’s oddly luxurious. Scent-wise? I like it. It’s interesting for sure. Like wearing 6 million Scoville lotion. But the sillage? The projection? Embarrassing. I sprayed this 7 times today, and I don't even think the mosquitos around me noticed. It's one of those scents where you’re literally sniffing your shirt every 10 minutes like, “Wait... do I still have this on?” Now, I’ve been a 3-spray-max kinda person for 5 years now. (What the fragrance community lovingly calls a “sissy sprayer” which... feels kinda problematic actually), but lately I’ve been leaning into overspraying. And still nothing. This wears like a body mist someone applied three days ago in a different room. Longevity? Meh. Below average, but not the worst. Honestly, most fragrances in 2025 seem to be getting more and more watered down anyway, so it’s par for the course. For $16, the smell is a solid steal. Warm, coconutty, spicy, bold. But for performance, this thing has the presence of a ghost. A disappointing buy unless you don't care if no one else notices you're wearing it.

When I first received this I was a little bit horrified. It was my fourth Lattafa and I was on a roll. I didn't hate how it smelled but it reminded me a little bit of the smell of kind of a tropical urinal cake. I did the customary spray out of the straw and then I stuck it in the back of my curio and almost forgot it was there. Fast forward 3 months in the future and this became so much less of that initial impression. You certainly can smell the vanilla, the coconut, and the frangipani. Now that I've read through the scent notes another time I definitely can also smell the citrus. My nose doesn't really pick up on the sandalwood nor the Jasmine but it might just be blended into the kind of background the other scents are much stronger then these two. This is perfect for a day out at the River or the lake with a ski boat. I think indoors for me the frangipani is a little too strong. I like yellow florals but that is the one yellow floral that kind of challenges me. I think I've had it for 5 months and counting and it just seems to keep getting better with time. If you're willing to wait this is probably a 7 out of 10 in the safe blind by range as long as you like all or most of the scent notes. If you do not like coconut or creamy smelling things this is probably the worst thing you could buy. I on the other hand love that as a bottom scent in the summer so I do reach for this on 70s and '80s degree Days however this would be too much for me on '90s or higher for those days I tend to lean fresh or citrus.

So don't be too quick to judge this perfume, or any other Middle Eastern fragrance for that matter. Give it some time to bloom, and you'll be rewarded with a stunning scent that will make you feel like a sun-kissed warrior.
