Raghba For Men

Raghba For Men (RFM) is an outstanding men's fragrance that is similar to Creed Green Irish Tweed (GIT)...not identical, but a very similar vibe and, in my opinion, the best GIT clone on the market - and for a great price too. GIT has a richer lemon verbena note and that luxurious ambergris accord. They're both present in RFM, but they are not as prominent. Raghba has more of a fresh lemon-aromatic feel and there may be some who enjoy this one more if they feel the verbena-ambergris in GIT can be little cloying. I do get the sandalwood note but not cedar, which must be masked deeply behind everything else. Another difference is there is leather in Raghba and not GIT. I can sense there being a leathery tone in the drydown, but it's not prominent and you'll have to search for it since, as with GIT, the experience is mainly about the lemon verbena, violet leaf and sandalwood with the iris giving it a slight powdery accord. Also, the iris is not quite as prominent as it is with GIT. To be honest, I don't notice much of a powdery accord in either fragrance because, to me, it is masked by that rich citrus/lemon verbena. However, GIT just feels richer (richer/deeper lemon verbena and iris) than Raghba for man, and also a bit more refined. Regardless, Raghba for Man is a beautiful fragrance that is well-done; for the bargain price of $30 it provides the a very realistic Green Irish Tweed experience (80%+) for a fraction of the price. Longevity and projection are not as good on my skin as they are with GIT (moderate to above average) but they are both solid; it lasts 7-8 hours on my skin and projects moderately. Much like Afnan Supremacy silver (ASS) is the most realist Aventus Clone, RFM is the best GIT clone I have tried. Finally, I am not sure why some GIT fanboys (who have never even sniffed Raghba for Men, no doubt) are voting down that it smells similar to GIT. It does! Just look at the notes and smell the fragrance! I have 19 Creed fragrances and these kinds of shenanigans are usually reserved for some other popular fragrances.

Really nice scent on its own and good GIT clone although I don’t personally find its as close as others are stating m. On my skin this opens up very fresh,clean,crisp and has a fresh laundry vibe !! I really enjoy the opening and someone said it smells like VINTAGE Polo Sport and I 💯 agree!! Beautiful stuff In the mid it does retain that laundry fresh vibe but then mixes with the greenness making it go more in the GIT area but this smells way more casual and less rich which some may like and some may not !! The drydown is pretty much the same as the mid but the sandalwood does make an appearance making this more rich and less fresh but this never really loses that fresh laundry vibe ! The watery violet remains the star of this fragrance from beginning to end which I appreciate !! In comparison to GIT and other clones I’ve tried pretty much all of them and I’d say this is my 2nd favorite (next to l”adventure knight) Raghba is the less mature,everyday smell that’s perfect for casual use as it’s less loud and bold but I’d say Knight is the best GIT clone as far as being the closest but you have to get past the first 45 minutes as those first stages can be rough. Performance is above average as it lasts quite a long time (6-10 hours) but this really only projects for the first hour and then you get a barely noticeable scent bubble but you will get wafts throughout the day. Overall rating -7.75 out of 10 !! I love the violet leaf freshness in this and this will definitely be a dumb reach for work as it’s a beautiful smell that’s inoffensive and not loud. Price is also amazing!!

I didn't wear original santal for over 3 years but what i can recall it was sweet nothing to relate with raghba in any way , cool water .. hmmm may be after the first 5 minutes after the harsh citrus notes are fading of cool water it may come close to raghba but definitely by 30 minutes both start to take a completely different course, cool water gives you the aquatic cold breeze with a glimpse of green grass with a musky base behind totally synthetic but in a cool way ... raghba is not aquatic by any means its all green with a woody and a glimpse of leather in the back ground .. citrusy but in a diffrent way its not lemon its the green lemon leaves(and may be bay laurel leaves) , iris beautifully blended... reminds me of the wide fields of lemon trees separated by iris and bay laurel trees along their borders with a slight cold breeze at an early morning in october ... i love this fragrance .. satisfactory longevity and projection ... i find it quite versitile for any occasion .. every day wear ..worth to be a signature scent for a confident well dressed gentleman..

I'm not great at identifying separate notes in fragrances, so I won't waste your time with that. My impression, however, is that this is a great, affordable freshie. I'm making this review honestly more to counter complaints that are mentioned on a fragrance that has a relatively good score. Well, the score is good for a reason. No, this isn't the longest lasting nor the strongest projecting. I won't argue that. However, I think the performance falls EXACTLY in the range of "average". I get 4-6 hours of longevity and moderate sillage. It is not a beast and you won't blast a room when you walk in wearing this fragrance, but the person on the elevator with you will notice. I also don't find this to smell cheap, plastic, or overly synthetic. It does lack perhaps a bit of depth and richness. I find the smell itself to be fantastic. The performance is average. The price is a good value. You can definitely reapply this fragrance, and I actually really enjoy the result of a re-application.

Blind bought this off the back of good recommendations and an interest in eastern fragrance. Had a chance to fully test it out today. I understand the likeness to GIT, but to my nose, this smells alot sweeter. Really nice scent but you need a good few sprays to get the required amount I think. I sprayed a good 10+ times. That said, it is quite weak, but has a pretty good staying power. Lasted for around 8 hours for me but very quickly became a very close scent. It is a good every day scent as it can be used as much as you want as the price is pretty low. I got mine off ebay for £15 (100ml). Longevity - 7/10 Sillage - 5/10 Scent - 8/10 Overall - 6.5/10

I can honestly second @flatoutchad's review below. I have always stayed away from clones and ignored them. GIT has always been my true love for years despite owning and wearing many different niche and designers in the last 20 years of my fragrance collecting. I must say Raghba for Man absolutely thrilled me. Not only does it smell identical to GIT, but I can even speculate it smells somewhat better (with leather aspects in the drydown) and also stays longer when I compare it to the GIT that is on the shelves today. Where I live, it's sold around 13 €/100 ml and it's unbelievable for this price. Bought two more bottles already.

No performance issues for me, not sure about projection but lingers around for a good few hours. This is silky smooth scent...as I wrote below as a guest shouts high quality. UPDATE 27/01/18: still the most wonderful bargain in my collection. Performance is moderate but Id say the same about a lot of scents including creeds. UPDATE 29/01/18 few sprays on the back of my hand 6 hours ago and still there although may not be projecting much. If a bottle is 14 US dollars (say 10 pounds UK) and there are 1400 sprays in a 100ml bottle then its like 1 US cent(1 penny UK) a shot.

People are a bit confused, but I can see why. Lataffa do several Raghba aftershaves, people are muddling the very nearly sickly sweet middle Eastern dense (unisex) Raghba, with the unrelated much gentler GIT inspired Raghba for man.. I am not a huge fan of the green Irish tweed style smell. Alright for the office or as a spring scent though - fairly wearable, though to me this one is a little artificial. Lasts well on me but with no projection, but most scents act like that on me. Even beast mode don't do all that much better for me. 7/10

More GIT than Cool Water, particularly at the opening😎 Only paid $13 for a 100ml. I got around 8 hours with 8 to 10 sprays. Absolutely shocked how similar this is to Green Irish Tweed. The scent at times does appear more crisp or minty, which makes me wonder if there is mint as one of the notes. What a wonderful, slightly sweeter and brighter take on the GIT DNA. Top marks from me for yet another class act from one of my favourite fragrance houses⭐

Have this for a few months now. The smell is great! Opens with a smooth, fresh laundry smell that projects quite well for the first hour or two. After that, the smell becomes a clean, green leathery smell with some musky touches - at that point, projection is very close to the skin. Overall, I get up to 10-12 h, but it;s very subtle. It's clean, classy and very versatile (probably not for extreme cold because of the lack of projection). Cheers!

This reminds me of my youthful years, strolls I used to take heading home on a cloudy day, passing through a fresh breeze of eucalyptus trees, (also known as Gum Trees in Zimbabwe) and possibly some sandalwood trees in that area. In addition this fragrance has a marvelous sweetness I enjoy getting whiffs off, every now and then. Yummy! Fantastic. Yes,it does smell very much like Creed Green Irish Tweed but different notes are excentuated fuller and sharper in GIT. I actually prefer the Raghba, more exotic, sensual and imported with a real strong top note opening. Same quality and better falcon. Better price and better scent. Mind boggling how people get hung up on department store trendy colognes at such ridiculous prices when fragrances like this kick ass.

I just got this and sprayed it right on my skin.Sillage is not too strong.It definitely has Green Irish Tweed DNA.I don't know yet about longevity but it smells so good for the money it costs.If it lasts 2-3 hours it's very well worth the money.Its 90% matching.As time passes it's settling closer to skin and it smells even better.I hope it lasts.Ill have to get back and let you know in few days.

Honestly didn't know I'd like this scent this much... Smells good, masculine, only sweet a tiny bit which lightens the composition, but seems to be bad in terms of longevity. edit: yea this doesn't last at all, smells good and clean, but i was able to finish the bottle in less than a month. that should tell you something.

This is a grassier and more powdery take on GIT, opens with a sharply green verbena and powdery iris tat eventually reveals woodier and slightly more animalic facets, albeit still fresh. Decent sillage, I'll need to wear this throughout the day to gauge longevity. Perfect for warm & hot weather.

Pros : I love it , it is not an exact clone GIT but , I think it smells better . I got for 1 USD . Great deal id say . Cons : smells basic and repetitive, not unique, the same thing goes on Creed GIT . Should you buy it ? Well if find a great deal on it i’d say go for it . It costed me 12 USD .

I haven't smelled GIT so I cant compare. Opens up really alcoholy but that fades away after 5mins. What you get then is a nice fresh, watery/ozonic perfume with a woody undertone. A no brainer for the price. Longevity and quality are decent. Reminds me of Davidoff Cool Water.

Love at first sniff. Toss up between this and Tres Nuit and a small price difference in favor of Raghba. Keep the one that performs better on your skin. Edit: I think I actually prefer this to Tres Nuit. More interesting smell where Tres Nuit is more one dimensional.

Absolutely superb value . Beautifully fresh & green ,& I get a sauvage / montblanc legend spirit - ambroxan & orange notes . Longevity & silage great too. This layers beautifully with vintage grey flannel !

It is indeed identical to GIT. Extremely cheap but very good quality fragrance. A little on the synthetic side, doesnt smell as "natural" as GIT, so just have realistic expectations. Moderate performance.

10 of 10 in all aspects. Cool Water or Tres Nuit in a different bottle.Just little crispier and much cheaper. Never smelled GIT so can not compare but no perfume is worth that niche price

Wow this is soo gorgeous! I really enjoyed the scent on this one! Its really a good clone of GIT Longevity and perfomance 4-5hours on my skin! Soo beautiful! Overall 10/10

Bought this fragrance off eBay, was surprised to find that it came packed with a deodorant. The presentation is neat to say the least. A matted black glass bottle, unfortunately you cannot see the juice when you hold it up to the light. The cap that was advertised was different, which is okay because I prefer the cap that I received. (round gold chain pattern cap) The atomizer is actually decent, has a fine mist or a full on blast depending on how you squeeze the trigger. Presentation overall is solid for me (not being able to see the juice hurts me to no end though). I payed $39, and decided I would go crazy with distribution of scent on skin, shirt, jacket, hair and everything else. the scent portion of this review is based on about 8 full sprays of this product. I'm sure everyone's experience with fragrances are all unique. Also I decided to do this on a rainy fall morning. The opening reminds me of a freshly opened magazine, particularly the inside when you press your nose against the inner spine of the magazine.. fresh! It's not a bad opening however it doesn't remind me of any other fragrance i smelled before so hooray for originality. After 30 minutes you get a touch of green, aquatic and a hint of that violet note and the scent begins to shape into something that resembles Green Irish Tweed by Creed. Also there is a mint nuance to it, you cannot convince me there isn't mint in this. Also I am projecting at an arms length like a Champ! After one hour, It's Green Irish Tweed. at least 90% GIT. Which makes me ponder with the most philosophical questions of our time; "What is the price of fragrance?", "What makes a fragrance a fragrance?" and "Does one need to shower when there is fragrance?". The scent projects at an arms length for 2 hours and then it becomes a skin scent. The scent last for 6 hours. I don't mind reapplying this after 4 hours or so because the scent is likeable. It's not offensive or cloying in anyway, great to wear at the office. I'd probably wear it in fall and spring. It's a touch too lite for summer, better aquatic scents out there and it probably won't survive the winter.. but I'm willing to try. So.. is it worth it? Yeah I'd say so. Can it replace GIT? Nah, well maybe. but the short answer is no. GIT has a mature quality that this lacks. This is a sweeter fragrance than GIT. GIT is more George Clooney (Mature, Sophisticated, Sexy) while this is more Leonardo DiCaprio (Sophisticated, sexy, draws french girls). Overall I'd say this is a banger. 9/10

UPDATE: I sampled Green Irish Tweed trust and Raghba for Man smells nearly identical. I think the original has a little more pronounced sharp citrus, but they are both very close. So close that you could say they are different batches of Green Irish Tweed Performance of Raghba for Man is also better than I first thought. It still doesn't project that much, but longevity is better than I thought. I speayed it 4 hours ago and woke up and can still smell it a good amount on my arm. By contrast, I sprayed Afnan 9pm on the other arm and that scent has almost disappeared (and 9pm is talked about as being a beast mode fragrance). ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've never smelled green Irish Tweed, but as soon as I sprayed Raghba for Man, it was a familiar scent. It made me think back to being a very young child and I'm guessing it's probably Cool Water that I'm reminded of. This scent is very mossy and very retro. I get a bit of subtle leather. I can imagine this being a smell of my dad's car interior in 1989. I don't really get much in the way of citrus. I just received this today and the performance doesn't seem very strong. There is very little projection. It's a nice throwback fragrance and I have nothing else like it in my fragrance collection. £12.99 for 100ml of fragrance plus a deodorant (including free shipping) is good value. I can't imagine wearing this out, but I can myself wearing it from time to time when at home and I just fancy a change.

You can't go wrong, especially at this price point. I think the quality is about the same as the armaf, I actually prefer this version though due to that weird faux leather I get from tres nuit. The performance is okay, nothing stellar. Projection is very weak, but at the price it's fine. The quality is good! I'm not just saying that because it's ten bones, I hate that "good for the price" statement because that would mean it sucks in comparison. It's just plain good. For me this is a winner, because I don't wear green Irish tweed style fragrances super often. Every once in a while I get a wild hair, and for $10 this is a solid piece to have. Quality is good, and it preforms good. I like it being kind of an intimate sillage on my skin personally. Is it a 1 to 1? No, of course not. Is it a good fragrance? Yes. Pick it up if it's $10, I think I'd be happy paying up to around $18. Anything over that I'd get L' Aventure Knight. Not saying that one is particularly worth it over this one, but if Raghba goes up in price for whatever reason that option has a lot better performance. If it's around this price, this is an easy choice. The only way you could hate this is if you hate green Irish tweed, or if you're just being overly picky to be honest with you. It's really impressive, I mean $10 gets you very little anymore. If this fragrance were a song it'd be The Gambler by Kenny Rodgers. I dunno why, it just is to me.

Initially I felt like this was promising, a lot of the notes here remind me of my childhood but don't expect to get much lemon verbena, its just iris, lemon, leather, and some ambergris and soft sandalwood. Longevity isn't good at all, it could've been the batch or it was shaken up in transit but this is more of a skin fragrance, super casual and light, you have to overspray this we're talking 10+ sprays, it's very inoffensive imo but the dry down is kind of reminding me of a leathery new car. For the price I think you could get something better, granted I only paid ~15 bucks, however I'm willing to give it a second chance and buy a second bottle in the future just to revisit. Otherwise I'm left kinda wanting more, I paid ~13 for ejaazi and get more out of it than this. 6/10 for now

This one gets just a "like" from me. Bought it very cheap because I wanted to know what GIT smells like, since a tester of GIT is quite hard to find where I'm from. That said, I think this has a pleasant and fresh manly smell, but I also feel it could be more potent. Something about the fragrance feels quite watered down and keeps me wishing for a bit more punch. I also can't get rid of the feeling that the ingredients smell cheap, even though not obnoxiously so. If you're on a budget I would still recommend it (you can always re-apply considering the price), but I personally will try to grab a tester of GIT to see if it suits my taste more.

#28 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Can't beat this scent for the money. I give it about 50-60% of GIT similarity, but I wouldn't exactly call it a clone. Way creamier to my nose. It's probably the amount of alcohol that caused some initial irritation. But like a number of the Middle Eastern scents I kinda like it. I'm pretty sure one of the limo drivers that picks me up at LaGuardia when I visit the Midtown office either wears this or deodorizes the car with it. Go easy with this one. Not suitable for tight spaces if you overdo it. Don't know if I like it enough to keep it in rotation. Depends on my girlfriend's reaction at lunch. ; )

Lovely. Smells like GIT. Strong projection for an hour or two, gradually dissipates, turns into a skin scent, then totally disappears (even from clothing) after four or five hours. Inexpensive, so overspray and re-apply later in the day if need be. Inoffensive, good for casual wear and as an office scent. Best for spring-summer-fall use. Tres Nuit may be the better buy if you're looking for a GIT dupe? I layer Raghba with Tres Nuit sometimes (redundant fragrances in my collection, so I use them as much as I can). Decent, but hardly spectacular. I like it and will wear it, but won't rebuy it. Hard to beat for 17 bucks, though.

Never smelt GIT but this is a better version of Coolwater, especially the EDT. Smells like fresh laundry especially those fabric softeners that call them selves 'spring fresh' or 'mountain spring'. Smells pleasant ,creamy and inoffensive, weak performance. I spray it after a shower if I'm staying home or before going to sleep , you can even spritz some on your pillows. Hope they make a more potent version of this. For the price paid $12 in the UAE, it came with a small deodorant as well, good value but don't expect to last more than 2 hrs.

In my search for a 1:1 clone of green irish tweed i still haven't found a fragrance that captures exactly that essence. With the being said this one and tres nuit are good fragrances overall and especially for the price and give you a similar feel. Definitely not identical to GIT but u can't complain much...also to me this smells literally identical to tres nuit

rugged ,unrefined green irish tweed clone ......nothing subtle here ,GIT Dna with prominent leather (i just smell a brand new black leather belt ),it lacks the piercing greenness but its a nice fragrance ,nice and casual easy to wear and suitable anywhere ,slightly sweeter and less mature ....definitely worth a go at the price if you like this dna

Wore to the office today, and got the rare complement from coworkers, so office safe — check. This is a great scent, I go nose-blind so frequently and so fast I'm usually not a good judge on how long a fragrance lasts on me, but I was aware of this one for hours -- in a good way. Great blind buy for me!

Completely lacks the opening, piercing green freshness of GIT but has the lovely violet sweetness of the dry down. Don’t find the projection to be the best but can still smell it on my skin after 6-8 hours. Needs to be applied heavily. Excellent price value trade off!

Definitely smells quite a lot like G.I.T I'd say probably about 80% similar. Which is great as it only costs about £13. Well worth a blind buy. If you like G.I.T just buy this as a daily wear. Most people won't have a clue it's not G.I.T..

A fantastic recollection of GIT. The only issue is performance barely lasts any time. I honestly don’t mind putting it in a gym bag or my car, it’s just that weak on my skin. If a parfum concentration is made, you have my money.

Hands down the best Green Irish Tweed clone, i prefer this over Cool Water and Armaf Tres Nuit. For 10€ it's a no brainer even if it has average performances.

GIT with twice the performance and a fraction of the cost. Also, a tier above Cool Water for sure in every possible regard. I still like Cool Water tho.

A full bottle blind buy success. As I sprayed, I was immediately reminded of when I wore Cool Water, in the 90s. A really nice scent.

Raghba man is much nicer than GIT, it doesn't have that annoying grass smell. Much closer to Chez Bond than GIT

I love this smell,cause i love green fragrances

Just received my bottle of Raghba For Men. I was thrilled because so many said it is almost identical to GIT. It definitly isn ́t. Yes, just after the opening, there is a nice similarity. There is something citric, spicy, vibrant that I also get in GIT. But in GIT, this comes about later on in the development, is much stronger, has way more dept and has that tweedy, fabric like smell incorporated to the max. Raghba gives a hint of this, but way more shallow, one domensional. It is not nearly so green as GIT, wich is a bummer for me. This one is more powdery from the beginning, more sweet. To me borderline cloying. I get that for some people this smell the same, but I think if you take time with both fragrances, you will come to learn and smell the differences quit easy. The brain has a tendancy to enlarge the part of the smell wich you regognise from somewhere else, later on this amplified association will unwind and you will get a better sence of the actual composition you are smelling. For me it is evident that the materiald used are no where near the quality of creed, ofcourse this is to be expected given the price. It is less rich, lack's depth, transitions quit fast from top to bottom, it gives an impression of GIT, but it is really not it. GIT is much more raw and rugged yet refined and balanced at the same time. More juicy, more green, more aromatic, less sweet, takes it's time to transition and really is an experience discovering different layers, imagery of rocks, and moss en earth and fabric, very 3 dimensional. Raghba is like a 1 or 2 dimensional picrure of one fragment during GIT development. But I am sure a lot of people will like it, certainly if you like somewhat sweeter en rounder perfumes. This is only the second time I bought a clone, but also the second dissapointment. I won't be buying clones again. I'll start saving up for the real deal.
