Ramaad Al Oud

I just got this one second hand and I think it’s a more mature version than what others are smelling - I’m getting all the listed notes on Fragrantica. This opens bright and citrusy from the pink pepper and fruit - then I get spicy sweetness. The oud is smooth and I don’t get any smoke/burned wood smell at all. It’s resinous and woody but the citrus and raspberry hang on to keep it bright, not a dark oud smell but definitely fresher than expected. It leans masculine but I would love to rock this during the day in the winter or even on a cooler spring/summer night. I think this is like so many of the Arabic fragrances - some just need some time out in a corner and they’ll grow up and be goooood. This smells great.

Great sillage and performance on this one. It's nice smoky oud with amber and patchouli. Like i said before fantastic performer. 9/10. Some of these lattafa cheapies are absolute bangers. Notes are correct on here.

Smells like rubber, and I actually really like it.

Ramaad opens fresh-spicy, citrusy, and peppery before moving into a smoky-resinous character mixed with dry, charred, rubbery wood, like oud burning in a small fire with a patchouli incense stick. There's a slightly sour green quality to it, and it feels relatively natural. Sweetness is present throughout, but it's blended into the composition rather than sitting on top of it. In the later phase, it becomes more woody-leathery. This is not an accessible profile. It brushes against ordinary masculine classics, but in a much less wearable version. It takes their citrus-spicy code, then runs it through smoke, dry powdery oud, and a rough rubbery edge. I think it can confidently be described as enigmatic. It stands out, maybe even extremely so. It doesn't specifically remind me of anything I've smelled before, though among possible similarities, maybe there really is a bit of Musamam here. Projection is ok, and the longevity is pretty solid. It's clearly masculine. The bottle looks nice from a distance, but it's simply plastic with a cool texture. Still, it's fairly aesthetic, and it fits the charred wood theme quite well. It's not beautiful in the classic sense, but it's intriguing and has a very distinct identity. I'd wear it carefully, preferably in cold, damp weather, and more when I want to smell unusual rather than necessarily pleasant. A blind buy only for people who like smoky weirdness with non-obvious, abrasive taste. It's decent, but it didn't sweep me away. I have better oddities. I had it for a very long time before writing this review because it's hard to define: it surely is different from everything else. And it's cheap. This is a challenging cologne. A very masculine scent, but not how you would expect. The notes wouldn't lead you to believe so, but this really has a rubber smell to it. It genuinely reminds me of working on cars with my father as a child. Now, you would think that this is a turn off, but this oud has a strange attraction. I'm usually a fresh, citrus fragrance guy (which is changing rapidly as I gain experience), so this is far from what I would wear. If you're looking for a SUPER masculine scent. Give it a shot. Other than the rubbery smell, you can pick up on some light spice and peony. Longevity and projection are pretty good, which makes sense as this fragrance is harsh on opening. At least 7 hours on skin, and easily projects off your arm. You will not need many sprays or you will gas out a room. The bottle is appealing but it is made of rather cheap plastic. Looks good on the shelf, though. Again, this is a rather challenging scent, but if you're really into oud, give it a shot. Longevity: 8/10 - Projection: 7/10 - Overall: 7/10

Typical dry wood perfume. Then it transforms into something woody leather. In the active phase, the presence of peony is felt. The smell has nothing to do with the design of the bottle. Nothing to do with charred wood or smokiness. The fragrance itself is in the style of one of the Penhaligons, I don't remember which one.

The bootle front wants to replicate the look of charred wood and that's exactly how this smells, of charred wood with a pinch of sweetness. If for some reason you want to smell like charred wood this is the perfume for you.

Notes have got to be wrong. This is a dry, dry, dry woody scent. Bone dry! Haha. They don't really smell alike, but I find this to be similar to lattafas Musamam. They have the same sort of vibe. This one either doesn't perform very well on me, or I get anosmic to it fairly quickly.

@arturas.petkevicius You must be thinking of Penhaligon's The Tragedy of Lord George. I haven't smelt that, but I own Fragrance World Tragedy and it smells like dry woods and nothing else (no green herbaceous accord either).

PLEASE Make the opening of this fragrance last forever. Its gorgeous. Frag on its own is fire aswell but the opening is 10/10 omg Nothing to do wits Oud Wood or Versace Oud.....nothing
