Ramz Lattafa (Gold)

Some of the reviews on here seem like light jokes. I truly don't get the hatred for this! Off the opening note, I don't get the gasoline smell that everyone describes. I get a very aggressive green apple smell that lingers heavily alongside a florally white pear. I get how most would be extremely thrown off by this! It's wildly aggressive at first sniff! There's some rose that starts to show its head after a while, contrary to other comments. I think the main problem here is that the rose is lost in the blend. It's there but masked by a bunch of white florals, which I think makes it a bit difficult to enjoy if you buy this fragrance strictly for the rose. I'm not sure of the age of the bottle I purchased, though the dry down is where the scent starts to get really sweet, it's patchouli, vanilla, and a strong lingering white musk that lingers. I do see why some might not like it, though I have heard and I agree that maceration may be really good for this! It seems like one of those bottle that on first open, it's gonna smell very strong, and to some noses, offensive off the rip. Given some time to break down, this just seems like the type of fragrance to gain a ton of character. I wouldn't suggest this to everyone! It's a great smeller! Though it seems like that type of fragrance that would appeal to a certain audience. Similarly to how a certain kind of crowd loves Joop, Cordovan Vintage, etc... I think it's one of those. Some will just not like it, and some may see the appeal. It's a matter of a particular taste.

Beautiful fragrance. Proper fruit and spice bomb. Really fruity in the opening, I can detect apple, pear and pineapple, the latter being a note that's not even listed. As it dries down it becomes more mossy, woody and has a touch of vanilla to it. Really reminds me of Most Wanted By Night on the dry down, before that it's just super sweet and fruity. Definitely a unisex fragrance as long as you're a man that doesn't shy away from sweet frags, although I'd say it's more 60/40 in favour of feminine, but I'd say the same about Le Male and that's marketed purely towards men so hey ho. I got my bottle for £14 for 100ml, which is an absolute bargain. It's quite comfortably beaten other scent I've bought this year that were over £100 for 50ml. Longevity is really good, projection isn't, but it's more of an intimate scent so I didn't expect it to fill a room. Anyone that gets near will be in heaven though. I've no idea if it smells anything like Alexandria II as I've never tested/owned that, but if it does, I can see why Xerjoff sell a lot of bottles.

If I believed the reviews I would never have bought it. Thank God I didn’t 😍 It’s a great perfume if you like this DNA! The fact that it was really inexpensive made me believe for a second that it could be bad, but with Middle Eastern we should know by now that this is never the case. They can be of very low price and really good, like this one. Fruity opening with more peach than apple to my nose, beautiful rose and jasmine in the middle with a lovely sandalwood, musky vanilla and patchouli perfectly rounded together in the dry down. It lasted an amazing 12 hours on my skin right out of the box 😳 You have to like the rose/wood/musk/patchouli Middle Eastern touch to appreciate it, although it’s really toned down here, but it is there. And I love it! Not a slight “gasoline” smell like some mentioned below. Maybe a bad batch? So overall this is a 9/10 for me, making it very easy to wear anytime and anywhere. And in my opinion it leans more feminine ♥️

This is a kind of BOMB! at first sprayed it was so feminine i thought this perfume for women, after an hour OMG i just like it so much, this is a monster long lasting perfume for daylight, night, office and party, i got 2 of this LATTAFA RAMZ version SILVER and GOLD. 1. SILVER version = Oud, coffee, leather some others like a bit of pacco rabbane 1 million and more to creed - longevity 8 to 10 hours 2. GOLD version = Rose at first spray, after an hour the smell more to men and good performance, smell leather, a bit of oud, a bit coffee, fruity, same like Dolce & Gabanna but this kind more performance and long lasting to 8 to 12 hours, after woke up next morning i still can smell a bit this perfume. From Malaysia, good in hot weather, in hot weather it become more aggresive on skin, spray on shirt can get more long lasting for roses

Just received this fragrance. First sprays come off as a sweet masculine fragrance. To me it's lovely but I do get a tart or sour note after the first blast of fruity apple, maybe it's the pineapple? I noticed here it's missing several notes mentioned on Lattafa's page for this fragrance such as pineapple, bergamot and amber. Once it dries the woody notes really come out to play and it smells like a botanical herbalist shop. Smells like how I picture a cold October day in all of those Autumn movies (Practical Magic, Twilight, Hocus Pocus) of even what Ollivanders might smell like. I purchased this to wear during the colder months . Knowing Lattafa these fragrances you have to allow them to sit for about a month or so to get the full experience. For now this will be going into storage as I'm excited to see what this becomes.
