Shams Al Shamoos Rose Taifi

I would be very curious to see the notes of this one, but as for the rose, I would say, as the name suggests it, it's probably a Taif Rose because you can pick up the sent of tea, very light but it's detectable. I get sent of jammy rose and a little bit of tea. I'm not a big fan of rose perfumes, the only rose that I can wear have to to be sweet/jammy. I had a decant of Byredo Rose of no man's Land, I loved it for a rose perfume but it's way over my budget, but it's how I would have described it, a sweet sirupy jammy rose. Rose Taifi doesn't have the same effect on me, but it's good enough for me to keep it. Was a blind buy and it wasn't a fail. On the other hand, in terms of longevity, it is not extremely long-lasting and the projection is rather soft and close to the wearer

I have this perfume sitting for 6 months now. I smell rose, a bit of musk and some spices. It is a tenacious and linear scent. It's a mature, cozy, warm and somehow sexy feminine scent. The kind of self-assured, independent, a bit bossy kind of sexy. In the dry down, a bit of sweetness appears and the scent becomes the romantic kind of sexy. It is safe for office. It doesn't rock your world, but it is preety and easily undestandable and wearable.

Got this somewhere on the web. From the sample I have this is accurate. Olfactory notes Top notes: allspice and purple freesia Heart notes: heliotrope, jasmine, hibiscus flower and Bulgarian rose. Base notes: Himalayan cedar, sandalwood and incense

First impression - Sweet syrupy rose. Rose + freesia + berries + sugary vanilla. Average longevity. Feminine. Best for summer. Cute & compact rubbery feel packaging with a thick metal golden sun.
