Sherif

I have a funny story with this one. I was so hyped about it but it was nowhere near my city so I blind bought it online. It was set to arrive in new days. The day before it's arrival I went to a nearby perfume shop and I found it. Smelled absolutely nothing like it was marketed nor how I expected. Very woody and citrussy, the citrus scent was pretty synthetic and toiletty. It threw me off so bad to the point where I wanted to cancel the order. But summer is quite close and I need an easy to reach freshie so I gave it the benefit of the doubt. The next day it arrived and it smelled nothing like the one I tried the other day. It's opens with a light bergamot scent and incredibly realistic green apple scent to the point where it made me crave some. It's super mass appealing and got me multiple compliments at work. The apple note drags throughout it's lifespan as it becomes an apple/musk with a hint of woodiness in the drydown. As per projection it's exactly what you'd expect from a summer freshie, around 4-6 hours but for the price point I wouldn't mind overspraying this one as it doesn't get cloying at all. I've smelt greenley on a tester strip and sherif is more of a fruitier twist on the DNA. However due to my experience with the other bottle I would recommend checking the batch's tester as I believe it's quite batch dependent and you may get a totally different experience. I would've recommended blind buying, but due to my experience with the bottle I tried in the other store I don't think it's gonna be a good idea.

The cheapest clone of Greenley with great quality juice. Doesn't have any harsh openings or anything too synthetic considering the price. This smells within 90% for sure of Greenley. Not a 1 to 1 if anyone is lying to you, here are the differences after trying it side by side. Sherif is a sweeter fresher green apple opening, with the moss giving that signature scent Greenley is known for but to me Greenley is a bit dryer, more mossier or 'grassier' and isn't as juicy or sweet of an apple comparing to Sherif. As it dries down, Greenley goes to a musky cashmeran, a fuzzy base while Sherif has that classic Lattafa clone drydown of an ambery musk. Slightly warmer and smoother rather than fuzzy. I would say Greenley is a perfect Green Apple Freshly Cut Grass scent for the traditional man, while Sherif takes that vibe, makes it more casual and fun. Great inspired by nonetheless.

Got mine for $20, great deal smells amazing. I much prefer this to Aether Extrait. It's definitely a more refreshing shower gel scent As compared to the original greenley. Majority of the mossy and grassy dry down is not present here. I go about 20 sprays, last me the whole day. For the prize it's great, it's nothing mind-blowing but it's pretty good. I layer it with Mawj Appletini, gives it a clean powdery and creamy apple milkshake type feel. The longevity to this is much better than Aether too. However the opening and dry down is relatively similar, almost too similar. If you like the opening then it's great.

Great take on the OG, but this one focuses much more on the fruity side. The apple note is beautiful. Crisp, slightly sweet, soapy, and very fresh. It feels cleaner and more youthful overall, so this is probably the better choice if you’re younger or just want something easy and fresh to wear. If you prefer the woody side of the OG, Aether is better. Aether has stronger wood and citrus notes, while this one leans more into the fruity apple and soapy freshness. It’s not extremely deep or complex, and the longevity is nothing crazy, but it smells very nice and is very easy to wear. 8/10

An absolute masterpiece and an instant favorite! The opening is incredibly crisp and fresh, hitting you with a mouthwatering, vibrant apple note before beautifully drying down into a rich, luxurious base of amber and cedar. It has a very unique, high-end vibe to it. I bought this purely because I was hunting for the perfect apple 'freshie', and it absolutely nailed the brief. I haven't smelled PDM Greenley, so I can't judge the accuracy of the clone, but honestly, it doesn't even matter. This stands entirely on its own as a phenomenal, uplifting fragrance. Highly recommended!

Sherif is a bright, uplifting fragrance with a juicy green apple opening that feels fresh and energetic. The citrus and petitgrain add sparkle, while the woods and mossy base give it depth and a classy dry down. It definitely reminds me of Greenley, but at a fraction of the price. Longevity is decent (around 6–7 hours on my skin), and the projection is moderate, making it versatile for both daily wear and special occasions. For the price, it’s an excellent fresh-woody option and a solid release from Lattafa.

Don't care about PDM Greenley, rating as it's own scent. Smells like a Granny Smith apple with some woody notes and a bit of citrus and musk. It's definitely a high value scent and can be worn at any season and occasion. The bottle is beautiful and the atomizer is fine. Longevity as of opening is pretty weak so maceration is definitely needed but that's the usual with Lattafa and similar brands. 8.8/10 for me

Man, this one hits! Got it about a month ago and enjoyed it out the box. Sprayed it a few times and then let it macerate or marinate if you will. Now, BOOOM nuclear frag. Green, fresh and powerful. Have your coffee beans ready after a few sprays. Decided to throw a spray of Aqua Dubai with it. “Chefs kiss” but nuclear. My nose is currently being pleasantly assaulted.

Smells like a blue shower-gel with a slightly green twist at the beginning and then slowly fades back into a ysl y esque fragrance with the green apple freshness / sweetness. Longevity is ok nothing horrible, but wish it lasted a bit longer. Sillage is bad though cant really smell it after about an hour and the distance during that time is <6ft

Green apple is my favorite note, this nails it, I have all the dupes for greenley and this with the French avenue one are my favorites, French avenue is more sharp with the green apple. This one is more sweet but not crazy sweet, love it so far. I will recommend this one over midori which is the other dupe of greenley. 8/10

The fresh apple cologne I have been looking for! Basically smells like fresh green apples with a little bit of sweetness, I love it! Quite similar to the opening of Greenley but keeps the apple throughout and doesn't change a lot into that mossy base like Greenley. Performance seems pretty decent but nothing spectacular.

Incredibly pleasent, apple bodywash type of smell. Very good for the hot summer season. Having smelled this and FA Aether, I prefer this one significantly, since its way fresher. Performance is also noticeably better. Got mine for 16€, which is nuts, and may be one of the best price propositions in fresh fragrances.

Picked this up for a meagre £13.50 from Notino after being disappointed by FA Aether. This is head & shoulders above Aether in terms of scent, longevity & projection. At £13.50 this has to be one of the best daily wear fragrances on the market & I will without a doubt be looking at picking more up while it's cheap.

Really like this one, wish I'd spotted it in the summer, a nice sweet green apple smell, smells like a soap I had when I was a kid. It's just a nice easy wear that gets compliments, fresh fresh fresh. I paid £19!!!

Beautiful and lovable scent in the morning after shower. Feels like applying apple scented shower gel outdoor in a misty fresh cool morning after a rain in a green tropics highland.

Think of Granny Smith apples pressed into a perfume bottle with a hint of woodyness in the background, then you get this, Absolutely gorgeous fragrance!

Beautiful summer fragrance. On dry down is 90% similar to Greenley, and dare i say more lasting

in comparison to french avenue's dupe of greenley (aether extrait), sherif emphasises the green apple note a lot more. its sweeter + there is less woody and mossy notes. i would say sherif is much more of a summer fragrance whilst aether extrait is a little more versatile as u could probably use it in fall, spring and those winter days where its not too cold. when it comes to longevity, they both do not do well on my skin. im getting 1-2 hours on aether extrait and around 30 mins on sherif, however this is probably something to do with me personally as ive sprayed my bottle of aether extrait on my friend and he told me it lasted all day for him. sherif also has a lot less projection than aether extrait. the green apple note of sherif seems a lot more realistic to me. ive always found that the aether extrait green apple felt a little synthetic. aether has better presentation, nicer bottle and better atomizer. overall, i would say that aether extrait is the closer one to greenley and will do better on projection and longevity, however sherif is obviously cheaper and some people may prefer the less mossy notes and more green apple, as most of the people who dislike greenley seem to comment on it smelling like "wet grass", in which case sherif would be the better choice.

Sherif is great for the price. As an owner of both Greenley and Aether Extrait, I can confidently say Sherif is a brilliant clone. While Greenley remains the ultimate benchmark for complexity, Sherif brilliantly captures its most appealing quality: that signature brightness. The Petitgrain Solution The true genius of Sherif lies in what it omits. While Aether Extrait boasts excellent longevity and sillage, it features a noticeable note of petitgrain that, unfortunately, gives me a headache. Sherif expertly delivers all the lovely, uplifting sweetness of the Greenley DNA without the migraine-triggering sharpness of petitgrain. Performance In terms of wear, Sherif is no slouch. Longevity is solid and reliable right from the first spray. While Aether might win the battle of raw projection since it has a more synthetic feel, Sherif’s performance is more than respectable for now. I just bought Sherif so must try for a bit longer to do a fair comparison. Verdict: If you cherish the sparkle of Greenley but need to avoid the biting edge of petitgrain found in Aether, Sherif is your solution. But still nothing beats the beauty of Greenley.

Lattafa Sherif is a nice green fragrance, but nothing special, and I'm going to assume that I would feel the same about Greenley, because most other PDM clones have been dope. I can actually smell the apple note and make out what it is. That's not common when it comes to fresh apple smells. I can easily detect a warmer apple note like in winter fragrances, but often in fresher fragrances it just smells fruity. It's nice and green with a sharpness and a bit of sweetness. I kind of see why some people say apple shampoo or shower gel. I kind of get a Cool Water/Aspen kind of vibe, but just a little. It actually kind of smells like a crisper less interesting Tommy Hilfiger. If this was a beast of a projector I'd probably love it, but it's only average so I just like it a lot. Not sure I even really needed this, but I do like the bottle and smell.

Like this one. Blind bought it. I have smelled Greenley and the main difference is that Greenley is way more of that bright green citrus woody explosion, while Sherif is more of a slightly sweet, creamy cedarwoody petitgrain opening, like a bit darker than greenley and a bit more 'soapier'. It is still good, but maybe 80-90% close to Sedley. Opening is 92-95% similar. Good fresh, green and woody everyday scent for school, gym, and more. Clean, fresh and mass-appealing. Nothing bad, but nothing suprisingly. I got this for 30 GBP or 34 EUR (deloox).

i'm testing a sample and it's a really nice smell and super strong, but just way too synthetic for me. like a poor-quality Y EDP. do not fall for influencer hype, there's no such thing as a safe blind buy. the apple and wood notes can be headache inducing for some, and just bc you like y edp or coral fantasy (two fragrances i love) doesn't mean you will like the apple in this. Edit: this actually works really well in the daytime/high heat, I previously wore it to go out in the evening and it wasn’t so good. Great for a hot day

sharp green apple. slightly sweet and grassy. pretty linear in that it smells basically the same from opening to dry down. i think it stays pretty true to the note breakdown, but it isn't quite as clean or smooth as greenley. what holds it back for me is its versatility for a freshie-adjacent profile. yeah, it's a pretty "safe" wear, but this is a fragrance that screams hot summer day. i find it hard to see myself wearing it in other settings. nonetheless, it's a good fragrance for those who love green scents.

Just got mine. it's very light and soft but still smells simar to apple scented shampoo but I like that. Letting it macerate and hopefully a more refined and stronger version. I have no problem overspraying if needed. Will update later. Still maceratung. Im praying it gets a lil stronger. Great scent but weaker than Aventus. The weakest scent ive come across to date. Never smelled the OG and I still know its weak asf. The OG can't, i repeat can't be comparable at that price.

I just purchased Azure Velvet, a Layton dupe, and was amazed by the scent profile. I thought I’d try another PDM clone, so I bought Sherif. This fragrance is decent but it doesn’t compare to the Layton dupe. It smells good but projection is abysmal. I sprayed about 10-12 sprays this morning and an hour later I can only smell it with my nose directly to the areas I applied it. 6.5/10 due to bad performance, if it had better performance it would be 7.5.

this reminds me of 'a knight of the seven kingdoms' for some reason lol, maybe i'm too asoiafpilled. smells unisex to me, the apple note in the opening is lovely & it eventually dries down to a musky & mossy scent that blends quite well in my skin. refreshing in the summer & i'm sure it's nice in the spring as well. the stags on the bottle are very house baratheon! it's a good scent for the price & amount you get, i'm pleased with it.

I expected more quality, it's not bad (maybe it's not my taste) this one has a constant sweetness with a punch of woodiness, feels earthy and stays like that for hrs. Good longevity, medium sillage, pretty cheap price for what you get, cannot say this is youth style i prefer Sedley over this. It looses the brightness, crispy of Greenley and in exchange you get a Sweet bomb of green notes almost herbaceous shampoo feeling.

I’ve worn this for a little while. I sometimes get the apple smell but often find myself struggling to catch it. To me it’s a very clean green soap-like smell. Reminds me of Muegler cologne at times. Scent feels right at home mid to late spring and can easily be worn throughout summer. With this fragrance you get what you pay for nothing mind blowing. My wife first described it as a nice gas station soap.

It is a keeper and only to be worn in the warmer season. Light sprays during the day a bit more heavier at night. Yes it is a PDM inspiration. But Stronger and longer lasting (on my skin). I was very blown away how long it lasts. Yes fresh green and office safe - keep in mind you project it doesn't;t stay close to skin. I bought it for $25. And it would fit all male category for all ages. I would rebuy.

Upon receiving, smelled extremely weak and just off. Let it sit for a month and thank God it bloomed. Must have been a very fresh batch. Green apple shampoo. Very unisex and mass pleasing. Moderate projection and sillage. Is it mind blowing, no. Is it a great non offensive, safe, fresh and clean, green apple unisex shampoo type scent that draws compliments....yes.

Only just received today but it most definitely is inspired by PDM Greenley. It lasts approx 4-6 hrs on my skin so not bad for a cheap freshie. I'll give it some time to settle and macerate but by the end of April / May time I'll give it another blast and report back..

A fresh scent that is perfect for a warm summers day, lovely apple and bergamot and I disagree that its mainly a young guys scent, just a lovely straight out the shower kind of fragrance, great value for money 😋🍏🌳

Sherif is much greener than FA Aether Extrait. Not that sharp but overall a great fragrance to have.

Nose Note #976 I was putting away this purchase because I've heard this DNA was nothing outstanding at all, to put it mildly. Well, I get it. To me this smells a lot like a toilet sticker air freshener (the stress is on the sticker). And besides having this run-of-the-mill lemon scent there's something in it besides the citrus accord that's screaming "toilet" to my nose. It's liked you've pissed on the lemon-scented toilet sticker... Or maybe it has the vibe of the water from the toilet basin. And I can't get passed this connection. I've heard a very similar experience previously, but I can't remember exactly what it was, something like DG Light Blue for men or something else from that era. I'm comparing this side by side with French Avenue Aether and Aether has much much less of this toilet vibe in every sense, almost none of it! More on Aether in the respective review. Back to Sherif. Men only. Performance is very mediocre in every way, basically like a typical freshie. On the positive side - this is a 100% summer fragrance, rather simple, fairly enjoyable. Most people will probably appreciate it, but I don't know if these toilet imagery translates into sillage. 6.9/10, just OK for me

It is fresh, it is fruity and it smells like toilet detergent...but only the first couple of minutes and then settles very comfortly. It is definitely not a bad fragrance and for a summer fresh vibe scent it has moderate, non-offensive longevity and projection. The price is extremely cheap and I got it for like 15€. Though it has that Safeer note into it, which kinda makes it a lesser blasting version of it.

This perfume is like a very sweet green apple. even i as a teen, find this a bit childish. dont get me wrong i still like the perfume alot and it has some notes which i am unfamiliar with, but still very nice. The projection and longevity is very poor. you get like 2 hours max of good projection and then it sits very close to the skin for the rest of the day. overall:5.5/10

This one is really not clone of Greenley, i have both and compared side by side. The Lattafa Sherif is really synthetic and smell not nature as Greenley , but with cheap price under 30 bucks i dont have anything to complain . Honestly, Lattafa Sherif smell like the 80's or 90's Soap when i was kid .

Esto debe ser una broma , me huele exactamente igual a la gelatina comestible "sonrissa-limón" , es un olor como para un niño de 12 años , sin embargo no está mal , pero no es una compra a ciegas y mucho menos un olor masculino (aún que ya en el secado se va un poco el olor a gelatina de limón)

I sense no apple, while scent of moss, wood and grass is strong for me. Whole aroma is quite dry, with no sweetnes. Maybe wrong batch? Most people describe it quite differently. I got it on sale for about 15 bucks, therefore I'm not mad. Still quite OK for office wear.

Opens up a little green and musky, as it dries the green apple comes through and begins to resemble something kinda like greenly, but it doesn't get very far and ends up smelling like a green apple scented shampoo. It's just ok.

This is a sweeter, more mass appealing take on the greenley. However, I think these changes made it lack character. It performs better than Aether, but I still think Aether is the way to go. 6,5/10

This fragrance is a bit too shower gely and musky it needed to have a stronger woody base rather than musky base, because of this reason I think it leans more feminine.

I dont get any apple surprisingly. Just smells like grass and woods, even after maceration. Very mid scent profile and performance.

I apologize to everyone who enjoys this fragrance, but to me, Greenly and its clones are simply awful. They smell like a combination of green apple and grass, which gives me a severe headache and nausea. While it may not be my cup of tea, I’ve noticed that many people love it. Do I like it? No Would I wear it? No Does it last? 5 hours Did it blow me away? No Safe blind? No Worth the price? Yes Is it unique? Yes Overall rating: 4.5/10

French Avenue and this one are really close to each other... And I didn't like French Avenue, I gave it away; for this one I requested a refund, since I really didn't like it either. I saw some reviews and people saying that is a sweeter take on Greenley but to me this is almost the same as French Avenue. Not worth it. To me the smell is not sweet and not appealing. Bad fragrance (in my opinion).

I bought it because I liked samples I had of Greenly. This is a nothing-burger. So faint. Smells like muted Sour Apple Pucker (the drink). But very soft, faint. Yes sweet, but super light. No projection with 15 sprays, longevity of this wisp whiff of faint nothing is gone after 20 minutes. Thankfully it was less than $25 on Amazon.
