Sutoor

What a chameleon. Months ago when I first got my bottle it smelled like strong, boozy peaches, much like Bitter Peach or the Alhambra dupe Bright Peach. I put it aside to wait for cold because in heat and humidity it was a bit too much. Tried it again and now it smells like sandalwood and BANANAS and maybe a little peachy musk which is a 1000% improvement since a beautiful banana perfume has been my unicorn for years. Months ago this was a beast in projection; now it has settled to moderate projection, as in wearable around other people. The dry down smells like banana soap, which is perfect for me. I can see this working in any season, even summer. Sorry, but this is not even in the same hemisphere as Kenzo L'Elephant; that one is all about cardamom and delicious spice. This one is banana, peach, and sandalwood soap. So glad this morphed or macerated or oxidized or settled or whatever it did. I love it now. Soft fruity, almost like Juicy Fruit gum powder but with the peach musk, not animalic musk. Maybe it's the vanilla that gives it a soft powdery fruity dry down - not baby powder, more like powdered vanilla pods and fruit. So wearable now. I went to the Lataffa website (lataffa dot com) because there are comments below about these notes on Fragrantica being incorrect, but Sutoor did not appear in their listing. Is this discontinued? I wish Fragrantica would do more articles about the UAE perfume industry. They release some popular and affordable scents but are semi mysterious. I would like to know more about how they identify - cloners or creators?

Sutoor by Lattafa is an elegant & sophisticated peach fragrance with lovely warmth from boozy and gently spicy notes. It goes on smoothly and as it blends with your skin all of its beautiful notes begin to bloom and unfold layer by layer. This was my first Lattafa blind buy and an incredible experience I must say. The warmth of the peach (dry, not a candy scent) and softly measured cardamom opening is divine and so complimentary to each other. The brandy, Davana and Jasmine begins the loveliest transition phase in the fragrance giving fragrant warmth and a jasmine tea experience. The base notes: vanilla, benzoin, Tonka and labdanum add the softest subtly sweet / notes that round out and ground Sutoor into the most smooth and elegant peach fragrance I’ve ever experienced. Don’t try and compare it with other peach scents, Sutoor is on a level that far surpasses any I’ve ever tried. I would only blind buy this fragrance if you have a well developed “nose” that can differentiate the beauty of the notes and how they work together or are not prone to base judgement on a first try experience. It’s unisex but leans more feminine, long lasting 6-8 hours, and its elegant bottle is substantial and similar in design to a Roja Dove cap and flacon. Elegance from start to finish- Sutoor by Lattafa. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well, hello, my friend. Welcome to my collection. What an interesting and delightful fragrance. I'm surprised that so many reviewers put Sutoor in the fall/winter category. I find it to be the quintessential summer fragrance. If you are interested in fuller, warmer compositions. The davana in Sutoor really steals the show on my skin. This is unusual for me. Florals tend to fall apart on my severely dry skin. On my skin the davana gives a dried apricot and Medjool date vibe. It's anchored by the resins. The tonka bean sits beside the resins and the patchouli acts more like a spicy, zesty wood. As inexpensive as this little beauty is, I do not feel like it's a safe blind buy. It's not a linear, gourmond bomb like Khamrah. It evolves and keeps me smelling my arms all day long. But I don't think most will feel the same way. It's a complicated little thing. That davana though. If you enjoy a challenge and are willing to sit with a bit of tension, Sutoor is probably going to be interesting to you. It has a very warm profile and if you are more into fresh aquatic and citrus scents, you will hate this. That's okay. I'll just take that bottle off of your hands. I will be wearing this sweet, warm fragrance all summer. I'm truly shocked at how ridiculously low the price point is. I would pay more for it.

Sutoor is a deliciously soft, fun, pretty, peach fragrance. It smells exactly like peach iced tea, but if it had been simmered down a bit on a stovetop with some spices thrown in. It is an uplifting scent, so I feel a bit strange wearing it when my wardrobe is mostly black -- it makes me want to wear a flowy apricot dress. It smells like cocktails with friends on a sunny spring day. I wouldn't call it unisex -- I would not enjoy smelling this on a man. It is one of the few fragrances I own that I feel comfortable wearing to the gym. Not cloying or overpowering, it's just there and pleasant. It keeps its fruitiness forward when sprayed on clothes and the woodiness comes out on skin. It lasts all day on clothes, but I have still been topping it up around the 4-hour mark, just because I like my fragrance to be wafting up to my nose as I go about my day. I haven't experienced Tom Ford's Bitter Peach (I don't like to torture myself by testing fragrances out of my price range) so I can't comment on the similarity there. But it is a lovely fragrance in its own right. If you like the smell of peach iced tea, it's a safe blind buy, especially for the price!

As my daughter said upon smelling this on me for the first time "it smells like stuff you already have". She wasn't wrong. There's very little to make this fragrance stand out in the world of Angel's Share wannabes. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't smell bad by any means, it's just very unimaginative. The bottle is beautiful and hefty. I will give a month to macerate and try it again to see if any notes show up to impress. **UPDATE: I purchased this in July and as mentioned above, I wasn't all that impressed... After putting it away in closet for a few months (it's now October,) I'm back to say I absolutely love it! It's perfect for Fall/Winter. It's giving spiced peaches and rum with some woodiness in the dry down. It's sophisticated and warm and SEXY! Went from 3 stars to 5!

Firstly can we just talk about the presentation of this gem, its a beautiful heavy!! Faceted bottle design with a metal gold plaque infront and a weighted metal cap with sparkly gems on it, such a pleasure to behold and I only spent 60 Australian dollars on it, that's insane quality. Sutoor boldly opens up juicy and naturally sweet with the blood orange and peach combo then quickly dries down to a soft peach and resinous vanilla, with literally only a hint of smokiness which I attribute to the patchouli, I also get this subtle leatheriness in the whole composition kind of like fuzzy peach skin, I'm finding it quite addictive. Definitely worth a try.

After giving this perfume a go for a while I can say I’m loving it! On me this is a spicy,peachy,rum,cognac,cardamom,benzion,sandalwood powerhouse!! Ingredients 1-3 sprays is all I need and this one last over 24hrs on me! Overtime I really notice the peach coming through and with a blend of spices and rum etc it’s a beautiful fragrance. I snagged this off Amazon for less then $20 and this gem smells and feels expensive!!! The bottle is solid!!!

This is so beautiful. At first I was shocked by the intensity, but after a few minutes it transformed into a juicy peach punch with a slight green note. To me it smells exactly like peach iced tea. By the way, the longevity is insane. I sprayed my faux fur coat with Sutoor and apparently I went nose blind because my mother complained that my perfume was too strong, even though I had only used it three times weeks ago.

sooo delicious, i get peaches instantly, however my friend said they didnt get peaches at all when they complimented me which was around 40 minutes after applying. i can see myself wearing this all year round, but its definitely most suited for fall, got that cozy vibe to it. didnt need macerating at all, but i can see macerating potentially making the longevity better. definitely going into my favourites

the drydown is perfect it reeks of sweetness and peaches however i do hint slight smell of cardboard but its almost likable because the scent is so feminine smoky and peachy. Ive had people tell me i smell like carolina herrera good girl, it has great sillage, be careful not to overspray! in the end its a huge hit from lattafa cant wait to try more perfumes from them!

Sutoor is an affordable wearable unisex peach fragrance. If you've tried Lattafa Velvet Rose, the DNA is quite similar but with a peach note in place of the rose. Longevity is about 6 hours and sillage is moderate.

I kave "Kenzo Jungle" as well so I can say without a doubt that Its allmost a dupe ;) A little milder thow.

now after having this for 6 months and testing it like once a month, it's finally smelling more like the supposed notes. It now smells like semi gournmand sweet juicy spiced peach amber-vanilla (really very a lot of vanilla, surprisingly) syrup instead of an old fashioned unisex chypre of 'aromatic-peach-plum that transitions quickly to lemon oil, honey, clove and bitter, leathery woods and green notes.' It didn't transition slowly, it stayed about the same for about 6 months and then sweetened up suddenly about a week ago. Seems an awfully long wait and an awfully big change. I liked both versions in their own way but i'm not sure i'd recommend it, Lattafa's Royal Blends is a similar sweet spiced fruit with a bit more depth, and it's both cheaper and more stable in terms of not needing to oxygenate/age in the bottle. I do like this eventual scent and find it very wearable, though simpler than before. Only get it off-season and be ready to wait several months, I suppose. I know people say that about most Lattafas but this is the only one from them I've had which has changed this much after this long.

I agree that the majority if the fragrantica notes here are wrong. the lattafa.shop notes are listed as: Top Notes: plum, oakmoss, lemon, apple, bergamot, geranium. Middle Notes: mahogany, clove, cinnamon. Base Notes: olive tree, sandalwood, vanilla, vetiver, cedar. I do smell the peach instead of plum, but personally the lattafa notes smell closer to how i perceive this one. the rum and brandy notes especially surprised me when i looked it up, because this does not feel boozy at all, and i definitely don't sense lattafa's sour, eternal saffron, which my skin emphasizes heavily. meanwhile I smell both the clove and the cinnamon distinctly below the fruitiness, especially the clove. It feels like a dry fruity, woody chypre rather than a modern sugared fruit fragrance. it's a rich, complex, deep and classy, fairly retro scent at first blush, though I assume it will sweeten up a bit with time -- that's how it's gone with each of the Lattafa scents I've tried so far. longevity is phenomenal (lasted through showering!) but projection is moderate and personal which is a nice combination.

First of all: I don't know how Bitter Peach by Tom Ford smells, so I won't comment on if it's a dupe or not. Sutoor is extremely fruity and boozy. In my opinion it also has vintage vibes. When I close my eyes, I imagine a short-haired brunette woman in a gold dress sitting in a 1920s bar drinking the juiciest White Peach Rum. If you look at her closely, there is something exotic about her, which is reflected in Sutoor. Peaches and exotic fruits. Or better: Peaches and mysterious fruits. There is indeed something mysterious about this woman, even though she is the center of attention in the bar. She is confident and doesn't hide but won't let anyone get too close to her. This is when the fruitiness slowly disappears and the smokiness with vanilla sets in and surrounds her in a cloud.

I came to post a review of a scent that got my husband a compliment and inquiry where to find the perfume from his male colleague, only to be surprised to find it's a. categorized as a female fragrance and b. that it should be a Bitter Peach dupe 😮 . For me, this is a davana-forward, rich (probably because of the boozy notes, benzoin and vanilla) unisex fragrance. The davana note is something I find interesting and captivating, although it can get a bit much with it's strange sweetness in some perfumes. Here, it's not the case, it is very well balanced. Because of it's boozy notes, and probably the cashmeran, I gave it to my husband and it works really nice on him. Nice enough to elicit inquiries 😅 .

My mom used to light these insense sticks in her room. This is very much reminiscent of that smell. I did get mine second hand, already macerated. Right away I get kids candy peach (a bit chemical) and red oragnge/cherry juice. After about 30 min it calms down and cardamon comes out more along with sweet brandy. This is a sophisticated scent, which I am afraid some could label as tacky. But we don't care about that. Its definitely not elegant, but something about it calls my name. To achieve perfection this scent lacks citrusy or tangly fresh note, which would lighten it a bit. In best Lattafa traditions of course sillage and longevity is crazy, do not overspray.

Blind buy and without reviews. Saw this on Jomashop, wrong ingredient list, but said unisex. It was under $20. It listed plum, sandalwood, mahogany, spicy clove, and vetiver. I didn't bother to check here or on Lattafa's site. With the actual list of rum, brandy, cardamom, cashmere wood, patchouli, and others...I would have been interested. It is listed for women on Lattafa's page as it is here. It does have a sweetness to. I think it could be unisex. I do like the end result but performance was lacking. Not really a complaint for $20. Overall there is a sweet boozy scent that takes front billing. I probably will not seek it out over others with a similar vibe.

I think that in this scent there's something similar with Olympea Legend, Charlie Gold and Far Away Royale (by Avon), warm, fruity, soft spicy scents with a drop of liquour. Sutoor is comforting and sensual, "thick", heavy and also fruity scent with one of my favourite fruit, peach. I wouldn't wear it when weather is hot, but it's suitable during colder months (most of the year in Finland it's not hot). I think it's more feminine scent but suitable also for men. It does smell expensive, although it's much cheaper than Bitter Peach by Tom Ford (I haven't had a chance to try Bitter Peach).

Smells 85% similar to the Maison Alhambra Bitter Peach dupe. This one is more fem but has the same masc notes tickling at the edges. I dont know if it's patch or the green notes but I do not like it. It's kinda like men's shaving cream everyone's dad and grandpa used to use. If that wasn't showing up this would be amazing. Hopefully it can age out of it or at least tone down a bit. Then it would be a beautiful juicy boozy slightly spiced peach. Still on the lookout for perfect peach scent I guess, since Peach delulu turned out to be rotten fruit eau de parfum. Le sigh....
