Whipped Pleasure

To sum it up: it opens with biscuits in a caramel ice cream and dries down into elegant jasmin milk with caramel sauce drizzled on top.. Oh god how much I love this. Caramel is my favorite note when done to my liking. This one is.. its not too sweet. This opens with biscuit and caramel sauce ice cream.. it exactly smells like how my favorite ice cream tastes like, and my favorite ice cream shop serves me caramel ice cream with caramel sauce woven into it and soft biscuits woven into the ice cream too. and it dries down smelling like biscuits soaked in caramel pudding then jasmine soaked in sweet milk drizzled with caramel. Or brown sugar . I used to try to put all kind of edible flowers in almond milk, including jasmin. I still do. when I want the drink cold I soak them in my milk and thats how this smelled like to me when I opened the box for the first time and got a whiff of it .. I am not someone who particularly likes overly sweet and gourmand Perfumes especially if they are fresh or candy-like but this one is not fresh it is milky smooth and at the same time a little powdery. very unique and has a sophistication to it. the caramelized popcorn accord along with the creamy accords smells like biscuit or dry coconut shavings sometimes also. I absolutely love this. It is divine. I will wear it for a wedding. I think this is very very unique and the bottle is much much more beautiful in person especially when u look at it from above. It looks so elegant and refined. Like an unfolding star Very cute and an elegant work of art. Edit: I kinda smell a feminine sweat-like skin-like scent sometimes and I love it even more for that... it's very feminine.. its not a simple gourmand to me. The jasmin is not too indolic but the milk is animalic which is what I sometimes feel is the smell of beautiful skin coated in sugar and jasmin and milk maybe. Edit 2: this is very long lasting as I could smell it on me first thing when I woke up.. Love this and is a must have in my collection from now on. One of my favorites Caramel is a dear note to me

Salty caramel and really lactonic! Really pretty. Although its also kidna Chai like. Smells A LOT like Snow Moon Magic from Sorce. The popcorn note in it that has people worried isn't giving movie theater at all. It just helps it smell like a baked good. Really pretty and perfect for cool days! Edit: pair it with Heavy Cream from Phlur. The dry down is super lactonic and they're stunning together. Edit 2: Compliment getter. Apparently my coworkers could smell it across the office all day yesterday. I just had it on my pulse points (behind each ear, behind collar bones, wrists, inner elbows) and a spray on my shirt. Although everyone told me I smelled like yummy coconut. But it was highly praised and they said they liked the tropical vibe it gave the office. I don't get coconut at all, it was lactonic caramel to me, but we all perceive things differently and maybe thats just how it smells on me! I also got told I smell great while getting groceries that night (8pm, perfume was put on at 7am). So points for longevity, even if I was nose blind to it at that point.

Whipped Pleasure is a very smooth, light, and airy. It showcases itself as butterscotch. The popcorn note is also very noticeable. The drydown is very unique. In a visual, it reminds me of melted whipped cream - the frothiness gradually melting into the skin. It would be as if you wore just the lightest coating of creamy sugar. In my opinion, this reminds me of Paris Corner's Molten Caramel - but much more airier because of the fluffy light popcorn and freesia heart note. It projects as butterscotch but sits close on the skin like whipped cream. I could also smell coconut too. I honestly was astonished with this cupcake. I was not sure what to expect for a perfume advertised to smell like whipped cream. I truly believe it was carried out well with Whipped Pleasure. Well done Lattafa! Plus, this bottle in particular really impressed me with presentation. It's one of my favorites in the Give Me Gourmand collection and I believe it represents this perfume well.

i got this perfume about a month ago, and me personally (as someone who has just recently gotten into perfumes at 21) i love this perfume!! it reminds me of the sol de janeiro perfume i also have :) yes, this perfume is much more on the youthful side so just be cautious it does come off very sweet! it has a little bit of the rough alcohol smell most perfumes have at first, but on the drydown it smells superr good. the one difference i noticed between SDJ and this is this one is much more milkier (at least that's what i personally think). it smells like if you made yourself a warm cup of milk with caramel and vanilla extract! gives very caramel-vanilla milkshake vibes :) it's a very good gourmand perfume! i will say though, it does have a moderate-weak longevity and the sillage does dry down after about two hours or so. besides from that, if you like gourmand and sweet food perfumes you'd like this one! sorry if this looks messy :') first review!

I have the same sentiment as the review below me. I put this off because of the popcorn and salt note people were complaining about. But this is so pretty and I wish I got it sooner. (I actually wish I got this instead of the vanilla freak, this is a milllllion times better than that.) I’m glad to report it does not have any popcorn nor super salty notes to it. But I do get a little bit of coconut, even though it’s not listed. Also it has this vanilla, creamy, lotion vibe that reminds me of empire victor. This and the cookie crave are just so damn good from this collection, don’t know why they get so much hate!!!

I'm absolutely in love with Whipped Pleasure! It smells incredibly soft and delicious it honestly reminds me of the froth on a latte. It's easily one of the best scents in the Give Me Gourmand series. Even though the longevity and sillage are a bit on the lower side, I think it’s a perfect pick for the summer. I just love wearing it!

It's really nice ❤️ It's a more sheer gourmand, you can really pick up on the caramel. I originally got SDJ 71 but now it is marshmallow in the drydown. Really good for laying! This is my favorite of the three Give Me Gourmands that I have tried. Upgraded this from decant to full bottle.

Edit: A month later and she is absolutely gorgeous! A buttery biscuit dipped in salted Carmel. In love. This is literally the light version of Lush’s Sticky Dates. I have a fresh bottle so I won’t judge her much. But, this is a more of a daytime SD.

Delicious smelling, not sure I could wear this all the time, but maybe to bed. It smells exactly like a Scenty melt wax that I had. I love the smell not sure I would always want to smell like it.

Coming back to say this is so incredibly strong.... Like beast mode. I put it in at 10 AM, it’s now 5 and I have not become nose blind to it, it smells like I just sprayed it. Crazy performance.

To me this smells exactly like Werther's caramel popcorn. Not something I'd wear out and about but i loovee wearing it at home as a super cozy, sweet scent

This is Sol de Janeiro's Cheirosa 71 with maybe a stronger popcorn note to it. I love 71 for cold weather, so this specific gourmand came out at the right time. It does dry down to a more whipped cream scent, but that popcorn note def stays strong throughout the dry down. Popcorn notes tend to be a hit or miss for many people, and for me I prefer to use it as a layering scent. I pretty much layer everything anyways, but certain scents def do better combined with other fragrances opposed to standing alone. This to me is one of those scents. It's strong, sweet, and def has a salty/buttery popcorn note to it. Had this come out in early summer I probably would not be vibing with it, but since cold weather is around the corner I am absolutely happy to have this in my collection. The bottle itself is super cute. I get some people comparing it to HoS cupcakes, but other brands have also done the cupcake bottles, so the style is not unique to just HoS. The bottle is not as fancy as the HoS, but it def is super cute. My only concern I would say is that the cap is kind of rubbery, so you might want to make sure to clean it often because it seems like dust and any kind of stains will probably stick to it.

Comparisons to Cheriosa 71 are fair but personally, I find the popcorn note in 71 WAY stronger, to an overpowering degree. This is actually exactly what I wish 71 smelled like! Starts as a very edible caramel corn scent that gradually fades to warm caramel, then clings as a generic musky sweetness. Layers gorgeously with Caramel Skin from Phlur. Solid, highly gourmand caramel scent with that classic sweet Lattafa DNA. If you're skeptical of the popcorn comparisons, take a jaunt to your closest Sephora and give Cheriosa 71 a whiff. It's a lot like that, but far tamer in the popcorn department. If you enjoy it, or even if you're intrigued but overwhelmed by it (like I was), you'll probably enjoy this--it's decidedly more complex and wearable. Yes the bottle is tacky but whatever happened to fun? To kitsch? To camp? Definitely not accessible, however. If you have any fine motor skill issues, skip it or have it decanted.

This is such a lesson on trying a fragrance for yourself and forming your own opinion. I’ve really been missing out here, I’m actually kicking myself. For months, I put off buying this even after purchasing every other offering in the line at release. The Popcorn note was my biggest aversion, but its so subdued and perfectly blended almost coming off like Coconut. On the skin it almost smells like tanning oil, baffled how there isn't an actual Coconut note here. Don't think this smells like SDJ ‘71’ as much as Paris Corners ‘Molten Caramel’ does. If I was to compare it to something in my collection it would be the Coconutty ‘Eclair Affair’ by French Avenue. They definitely bear resemblance but this is much softer. I dont want to call this weak, so soft will do. I genuinely can’t believe how pretty this is and how much I adore wearing. A complete home run for me and might be my favorite of the bunch. 😇

At first sniff I didn’t like this. It smells exactly a warm vanilla sugar candle. Very artificial. However, after it warms up a little on the skin the butteriness comes through and it’s quite addicting. I can’t stop sniffing my wrists. I still smell it after a few hours. Don’t think it projects very much but I think that’s a good thing because it is a bit cloying. I would be very careful not to spray to much of this. Overall, this is more of a guilty pleasure scent not something I see myself wearing regularly. It’s also overpriced for what it is.

The opening is very similar to Cheirosa 71, but it's denser, creamier and smoother. I do feel that as it wears on, the caramel popcorn fades away and it slowly morphs into almost Lataffa Eclaire. I think this is very enjoyable, and I actually prefer it over cheirosa 71. It's longer lasting than Cookie crave from the same collection, but it's by no means a loud or long lasting scent. I'm not sure if it's bottle shock or not, so I will have to see if a bit of time on the shelf will make it stronger and better lasting.

I thought that by the name, this fragrance was gonna be very soft and creamy like most of the vanilla perfumes I like, but surprisingly it was a lot stronger and a little overwhelming. This is like popcorn with a little bit of caramel, again, not what I expected but I still really liked it and smells almost identical to gigot’s “Caramel Cream” body splash (which I own but isn’t on this site)

I put this on at 2pm it’s now 1am and i can still smell it, i like the scent it smells like caramel candy or desserts but my only complaint is that it has like this headache alcoholic biscuit smell that some of my other gourmand perfumes also have and i can’t stand it so im gonna let it marinate for now and hopefully it’ll go away. I dont hate it tho it’s nice but needs some marination

I love the smell of this one! It smells exactly like the top notes. It smells exactly like caramel popcorn. I wish it was a little stronger and lasted a little longer. It probably needs to macerate more and it will last longer and get stronger.

I have several in this scent profile and this one is my least fave as others project better and last longer. BUT the bottle is unique so it’s more of a fun add for the presentation. Probably won’t repurchase though...

On a paper test, I like this. It's sweet buttery popcorn caramel, definitely a gourmand. I could see this being heavy or cloying if too much is sprayed.

It’s an older, more mature sister of Lataffa “Eclair”. It smells exactly how it looks, no surprises here. Imagine Eclair + pop corn.

I don't often wear perfumes on my skin, so this is all based on what it smells like on my clothes. I didn't/don't like this. Im a big gourmond fan, tihota, bianco latte etc. I also own the chocolate one in this line which I do love. This comes off SCREECHING like a butter popcorn candle at B&BW. It stays sickly sweet and quite childish in my opinion. I get straight butter, popcorn and an artificial caramel. It just smells entirely artificial. The dry down is actually almost ok? But you have to wait 5+ hours for that and then it's a close to body scent with no projection. I almost thought I'd reach for this to do a summer layering because the dry down is weirdly kind of tropical? But in the summer the scent would be so heavy and cloying it wouldn't be worth it. This is more of a scent for a pre teen trying to find what type of perfume suits their body chemistry the best.

i kind of love hate it but i can’t tell if im leaning more towards hate???? i love the popcorn notes from 71 and ltgtr and i feel like at the time this was released it wanted to bank on the spotlight that brand of caramel gourmand was receiving but like a whole year too late. the thing is, 71 works because it’s more salty and has white chocolate which this is missing and is less rich because of it.... ltgtr has a dense caramel which i feel like this one is faint. this needs something more complex, like condensed milk. it smells good at first but after initial dry down there was this soapiness that clashes against what this is supposed to be and it bothered me so much, because it’s not supposed to be there!!!!! but from there the scent morphed into what smells like....... literal ballsack sweat..... lattafa wtf?

the sillage of this during the first few hours of wearing it is really nice, its like the sillage of a vanilla caramel drink thats salty and sweet at the same time. however i mostly smell musty butter in the drydown

I dont get dulzura from this. But I do get molten caramel. Am not the hugest fan of that one (a bit cloying) so I didnt really like this tbh

Love the packaging, the top notes are what drew me in but it smells mostly like burnt/roasted whipped cream with salted caramel, I get why the opening could be perceive as popcorn, but it's mostly just salted caramel. The drydown is sweet whipped cream and some slight floral notes. It's definitely a female perfume, very aggressively so. I don't like it, my friends don't like it and when I sprayed it around at their place we all knew it was to "stink up" the place. So yeah, just don't, it's almost gag inducing. Doesn't even smell tasty

I love me a salted caramel, popcorn, white chocolate, cookies with a glass of milk, bakery scent done right. SDJ71 is my blueprint for it as the dry down is in my humble opinion, the best you can get on a budget for that category. Thing is I get nauseous heavily and this, instead of smelling like the bakery goodness I was promised, was just straight up grease. Sure it smelled like caramel popcorn.. if the popcorn was drowning in oil.

this smells just like sugared snickerdoodle from bath&bodyworks or sdj71 to me. very very sweet and caramelly, too much for me honestly. not a big fan of this series personally, the packaging is a cute design but feels cheap, and the scents are all overly sweet

I was hoping this would turn out to be very creamy and sweet but i've been sadly let down. The popcorn and caramel scent smells very off-putting on my skin and the creaminess just isn't there. I'm glad I didn't blind buy this and only got a decant.

The first spray smells amazing like a sweet buttery vanilla biscuit. But after 30 minutes it turns weird and smells like a basic fragrance base. I loved it at first, but then I hated it.

I know it sounds weird, but I get unscented face cream vibe from this one! That plastic alcohol smell that is in unscented products! Mixed with a dry nutty note ( popcorn) and maybe a little bit of salted caramel in the end! Maybe my nose is broken. I had such high hopes for this one, hoping for a mix of cheirosa 62 and 71 gooey Caramel! Nope! Not this one for me

i love this but if you already have escapade gourmand, you can skip this one. smells great but you simply do not need both although what i like about this one better is the dry down! its not play-dohy like i sometimes get with escapade gourmand. great alternative and way less expensive to EG.

I LOVE THIS ONE! I did not have high hopes for this, I was expecting caramel popcorn but to my nose this is caramel biscuit! Absolutely delicious! I do not get popcorn at all like in cheirosa 71, for me is a parfum more mature version of whipped dream from Victoria's Secret.

The packaging is "love it" or "hate it". Not my cup of tea but I appreciate how they do not take it seriously here. Might not buy it but willing to try sample. Anyway...salted caramel and popcorn notes are gonna smell like BO on some people. 🤔

idk why I was expecting this to smell like a caramel vanilla ice cream (don't judge me I didn't read the notes) but it smells too nutty like salty popcorn and I don't get any other notes. It does last a lot on clothes tho (like days)
