Winners Trophy Gold

This is my new favourite! It’s beautifully blended and not like anything else I have. I have had mine sitting in a dark cupboard for a few months and I cannot detect a single note that stands out more than another, it’s just so well blended. It’s very feminine, soft, but definitely not powdery. It’s not super strong on the rose or patchouli notes to my nose. It’s doesn’t come across as heavily floral or strong on th vanilla. It’s just a beautiful, soft feminine musky scent that smells more expensive than it is, has great lasting power (6+ hours) and projects within arms length. Great as an every day scent. Signature worthy! I’m shocked it hasn’t been reviewed on here more.

It's interesting that some people seem to perceive this as leaning towards masculine, because my first thought was "oh this is a lady-lady fragrance". Starts out with a greenish, spicy pepper accord, which then drowns in a sea of sweet Bulgarian roses and jasmine, and slowly dries down into its vanilla and patchouli base with something reminiscent of champagne or dry white wine. Also, seems like the addition of musk makes it all a little soapy, which must be the part that everyone perceives as unisex. To me, this smells formal and a little too stereotypically mature to wear, but if you like rosey florals in general, this might be for you. Overall, it's a pleasant, feminine scent that seems perfect for spring.

Note: I've only had this for around a month, so I realize that it hasn't fully matured. At first this was a fresh, dewy rose. Very fresh, green and damp, not dusty at all. After a couple of weeks, this mineral note appears that makes it smell like a rose bush growing out of wet rocks. Now, it smells like roses and opening a brand new box of sneakers- a little leathery and rubbery. Since this scent keeps changing, I'm sure what I'm smelling now isn't going to be the same thing I'll get in a couple of months. I don't dislike it at this point, but it has too many oddities for me to feel comfortable wearing it out in public right now.

This is nice. For years I have worn rose and patchouli dominant perfumes but have been trying other things. However, I still like the occasional rose woody scent like Narciso Rodriguez which has been my staple perfume for years. Winners Trophy Golf reminds me of this a lot and it can be worn anywhere no matter the season. It smells so Very lady like and confident.

There is absolutely no similarity between this and Rosendo Mateu 7. I own both of them and they are not alike. 7 is masculine leaning and this one is feminine leaning. Dont buy it as an alternative to 7.

Plum should be listed in the top notes, that's where that fruity rose thing is coming from. I can definitely smell it. (Or I only think I can because I know it's supposed to be there. Isn't smell fun?)

Very weird, masculine, damp black peppery rose. No jasmine to me.
