Yara Moi

Yara Moi by Lattafa (often nicknamed "Yara Bianco") is a fragrance that has managed to conquer a solid niche of enthusiasts thanks to its distinctive character, very different from the famous pink progenitor. While the pink Yara is a "cloud" of strawberries and cream, Yara Moi veers into warmer, creamier and slightly more sophisticated territories. The Opening (Peach and Jasmine): The opening is juicy but not overly fresh. The peach is ripe and velvety, while the jasmine adds a clean floral touch that keeps the fragrance from becoming too heavy right away. The Heart (Caramel and Amber): This is the soul of the perfume. The caramel here is not "burnt", but more reminiscent of a milk dessert (like dulce de leche). The amber warms the composition, making it enveloping. The Base (Sandalwood and Patchouli): The sandalwood emphasizes the creaminess, while the patchouli in this fragrance is very modern and "clean"; it only serves to give structure and longer wear on the skin, without being earthy.Seasonality: This is a perfect scent for autumn and winter. In the summer heat, the caramel note might be a little too opulent. Durability: Excellent, like most Lattafas. On skin it easily lasts 6-8 hours, while on clothes it can last until the next day. Sillage: Moderate/Intense. It makes itself felt without overwhelmingly "filling" a room, as long as you don't overdo it with the sprays. I recommend it to those who love Gourmand perfumes that don't just smell like sugar, but have a woody and creamy base. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to niche scents that mix canned fruit and sandalwood, Yara Moi is an excellent choice. It's a creamier, more tropical version (despite no declared coconut) of modern amber fragrances. It is less "adolescent" than the pink Yara and more "feminine“.

Okay, so I am re-listing the notes as per Lattafa's website, as the notes listed above are incorrect: Top Notes Pear, Pink Pepper, Black Current Middle Notes Tuberose, Jasmine, Almond Base Notes Vanilla, Cashmeran, Patchouli This is NOT a PEACH dominant scent. There is no caramel and it's not gourmand. This is a PEAR and tuberose scent. Its floral and It is GREEEEEEEEEN. We're not talking galbanum green; this is a crisp, sweet green. If you have trouble wearing white flowers, specifically tuberose, you can probably tolerate this one. The tuberose is very muted and soft, becoming more "creamy" in the drydown. I don't get much of the jasmine, except at first spray, and even that is minimal. The pepper shows up a couple minutes in, and supports the other notes, but its not overpowering, like in Guess Gold. The cashmeran and vanilla are not really noticeable but add more creaminess to the composition. I love patchouli, and patch dominant scents, but I really don't get much here. To my nose, this is a non-specific soft, sweet, creamy green scent. Very linear and easy to wear. I tend to overspray this one, which doesn't matter, as it stays pretty close to the skin, lasts for days on clothes, and trails like crazy. You may not smell it, but trust me, others do. I would consider this work safe, and if you like PEAR scents, a safe blind buy. Note: My bottle is two months old. This scent, like all Lattafa scent needs to macerate. Also, for me this layers well with other pear or jasmine scents.

Ok, so my brain & nose are no longer twisted about Moi. The notes listed here are definitely not correct. The combination of pear & black current is what my nose perceived as peach. After sitting in the cold dark closet for 6 months, I now smell every note listed on the Lattafa site... Top: pear, pink pepper, black current Mid: tuberose, jasmine, almond Bottom: vanilla, cashmeran, patchouli I had not touched in a couple months, but grabbed for Moi after my shower today. I sniffed the cap deciding whether I would wear. I immediately smelled the almond, which I couldn’t smell at all until today. On clothing, it stays a lil linear, but not completely. It performs different on my skin. The opening is very juicy, the pear & black current are sweet & fresh. On my clothing, the fruits from the opening stick around. I smelled the pink pepper from my skin. The white florals are there, the jasmine center stage. The vanilla is much stronger than before, but patchouli is dominant in the dry down. I like this perfume, it is simple, easy. Projection is good, it fills a space & leaves a trail. Moi is not offensive, she is just basic. This is a good everyday fragrance with moderate performance. For 20 bucks, you get a good, dependable fragrance. Moi is my second favorite Yara because of its simplicity & because it is not gourmand. Moi is a very juicy fruity floral that I can wear year around in our humid heat or the lingering scattered cold days of Winter. 10/10

some of these reviews are wild... i do wonder if there are fakes out there, due to the viral popularity of the yaras. idk. I don't smell any of those nasty things mentioned. I got mine from a big grey market seller with good feedback and it has the holo sticker. It's also a little 'pre started' because unfortunately the package got smashed up and it started leaking in transit 🙃. But i like it so much i'm gonna get an undamaged bottle, or at least decant this one! it starts out fruity and tangy with like a peach-pear-mandarin-y clean summer fruit juice and shampoo-y, not at all indolic jasmine, and then a kind of biscoff caramelized biscuit almondy amber aspect (that no, doesn't smell like actual sugar and butter caramel, that's true) and very light, fresh herbal airy twang that i guess is the patchouli, though it's a much less earthy patch than in other lattafas. I feel like there is a bit of unlisted white musk in the base, and maybe it's an aspect of the fruit but i keep thinking there's ylang ylang in there that's not in the notes. i don't sense the sandalwood exactly, except maybe in adding to the 'biscuit' sensation. It's a relatively long lasting scent but it stays close to the skin, hopefully that will improve. my first association when i unboxed it was actually that barbie doll in the 90s that came with a perfume bottle, both the fresh sweet plastic doll head and the tropical "perfume" 😅. Nostalgic and girlish, imo.

Wow this is so gorgeous. It's elegant, classy, feminine and comforting. The notes listed on fragrantica are wrong, this its the notes from the lattafa website: Top: Pear, Pink Pepper, Black Current Middle Notes: Tubercose,Jasmine, Almond Base: Vanilla, Cashmeran,Patchouli It opens up with a very juicy fruit note, to me it smells like peach but I think it's the mix of pink pepper, pear and black current since that's the actual notes You definitely get that fruity juiciness with the pink pepper, it's very sweet and fresh As it starts drying down you get the florals they are very well blended in the fruit, I definitely get that jasmine, I get a sweet syrupy caramel note and it dries down to a beautiful peaches and caramel scent with some earthiness which grounds it and makes it so elegant. I definitely get vanilla as this dries down as well. It is so long lasting and it didn't even need to macerate! To me this is so gourmand, sweet and fruity but also fresh, floral and slightly earthy. I absolutely love this. The earthiness in this is like smelling a sweet caramel peach that is outside after it rained. It's so cosy and comforting. Truly a beautiful fragrance, 10/10, to me this is so elegant and feminine I don't really understand why it's so polarising and why there are so many bad reviews...

I know this perfume gets a lot of hate but first let me say that most Arabic perfumes need time to macerate. I did not like this at first but my friend told me wait about a month and then revisit it. She was right, this smells so good on my skin now. It has a slightly sweet clean soap smell, on my skin I smell peach and jasmine for sure. Now I’m not a fan of patchouli but it’s really well blended in this perfume. The dry down is light florals peach and subtle sweetness from the caramel. This is not a gourmand, this is for people who like Lataffa peace and love or soapy clean girl type fragrances. Eventho it leans feminine I can see a man pulling this off. Something about this perfume draws me in more and more. That’s what I appreciate and love about it. This to me you can wear year round but I think it will perform better in fall and spring. Anytime of the day wear, but I wear this at night.

When I first got this I sprayed it and it was all notes of bug spray and alcohol. But the rule of thumb with any of these Arabian gems is to let it macerate 1-3 months and revisit. After about 3 months I tried it again and it was gorgeous, and now about 6 months later I can honestly say this fragrance is so smooth and beautiful you can't really decipher individual notes, it's that well blended and gorgeous. Creamy white floral, sweet caramel, powdery amber. I don't get any patchouli--or if it's there, very little. The sandalwood shines in the drydown as a creamy soft base to the whole thing. Sniffing up close I get a delightful tart burst of sweet tarts candy, which makes the whole thing fun. Worth a blind buy if you're curious and willing to spray once and put it in time out. ♥

I just received this perfume. I have well over 160 perfumes. I have the best of the best in perfumery.. I have heard nothing but trash talk about these Yara perfumes from Lattafa on YouTube and frankly, I don’t get it. They are very crowd pleasing scents. They are just sweet,sexy and good smelling. that’s all. Synthetic ? I have news for you. They are very few perfumes that are not synthetic anymore. Not every perfume has to be mind blowing or completely revolutionary. for the money $20-$23. It’s a win-win just a very good everyday scent. What’s wrong with smelling delicious? On a sidenote, here, if you don’t like patchouly, this probably is not for you, but otherwise, just a very good perfume and that includes j the original Yara as well..

I bought this blindly because I tend to like white floral/peachy/sweet vanilla perfumes so this sounded great to me. When I started seeing that it had so many negative reviews I got scared and thought I wasn't gonna like it. I'm wearing it for the first time now and I LOVE this fragrance. The most prominent notes (at least on my skin) are the white flowers and caramel. This smells sweet, gourmand and long lasting but clean, fresh and not overwelming at the same time. I wish the peach was more prominent on me, it faded away really quickly. If you read the notes this perfume has and you love them then you should buy it because it smells exactly how it's described. The patchouli scent it's not that prominent on my skin either.

Finally I have it! I'm a fanatic of the Jasmine smells a lot that I have Jasmine incenses since years ago,so I can confirm that this lattafa Moi smells predominantly a Jasmine like my incense of Jasmine,maybe the sandal wood and patchouli notices but is very slightly for my olfative nose, also my body PH is Acidic Skin,and my body temperature is intermediate of cold and warm,so i only sniff the Jasmine scent in my body, and I tend to use always a Lavender soaps for my showers ,so also thats why I sniff only the Full Jasmine floral, And That's is what I wished of this perfume! (And at least in me is long lasted like 8+ hours if I spray in myself generously, and if I spray on my clothes the durability is for days.) 🥹🪷🌸🎋🤲🏻

I've had this one for a couple of years now - I've gone through phases with it, sometimes finding it synthetic and weird and sometimes getting delicious peaches and cream. Now I've tried it again - I want to say I got this early 2023? - and it smells so good! I think it'll go back into my everyday rotation - it smells like peaches and digestive biscuits. The peach isn't syrupy and juicy but more custardy, and there's definitely some sort of vanilla/ caramel/ toffee note in there now. I really like this now, although I do wish it hadn't taken so long to reach a point where I'm able to genuinely enjoy it. The longevity has actually improved over time for me, as has the projection. This is really nice!

The notes listed here are wrong. As a user mentioned below, according to Lataffa's website they are (and I quote textually): Top: Pear, Pink Pepper, Black Current Middle Notes: Tubercose,Jasmine, Almond Base: Vanilla, Cashmeran,Patchouli It's a lovely perfume. At first sniff, I could smell some strooong jasmine, which I like but it was all jamine. I almost discareded it, but as time went by, the vanilla and cashmeran started taking over and it became much more woody and sweet (but not overpowering). I love it! thinking about purchasing it. EDIT: After an hour or so, I can smell something that reminds me of the smell of old make up (like old lipsticks or old eye shadow), but I still like it!

I bought this on spec and I am in love!!!!!!!! This starts with a huge blast of peach and jasmine, very "loud" but in a nice way. It took a good 3 hours to dry down into the sweet caramel floral, slight spice of amber, with the hint of patchouli and sandlwood. This stays well and now, 8 hours later, it is mostly an extremely well blended mix of mostly patchouli and sandlwood but, soft and sweetened, not harsh. A delight to wear. I am well happy with this concoction. The dry down is the best I have come across in a long time. All aspects are still there but rearranged. That makes a pleasant change from linear perfumes on the market nowadays. This is alchemy indeed!!!!!!!!

It surprises me that this perfume gets so many negative reviews. It's one of my all-time favorites from Lattafa! The notes here on this site are INCORRECT, here is the notes listing from the seller website: Top notes of Pear, Black Currant, and Pink Pepper. Mid notes of Tuberose, Jasmine, and Almond. Base notes of Vanilla, Cashmeran, and Patchouli. To me, this scent is beautiful and alluring. The pear and currant are strong and present in the opening, but blend well and softly give way to the jasmine and cashmeran over time. It lasts forever on my skin, and never dries down to anything unpleasant for me. It smells expensive and bold, and I will keep buying more bottles!

Maybe my sense of smell is off, but Yara Moi reminds me so much of caramel cookies, sweet biscuits, and moist muffins. This is a warm treat that's been freshly baked and has an enticing aroma that wafts throughout the house. The peach mixes with the caramel and amber to give that decadent peach pie-like richness and the jasmine and sandalwood help to ground this to keep it from being too sugary. It's like a mother's loving hug when you're feeling down, or like visiting grandma's house when she's got a batch of your favorites baking in the oven. I truly believe you could wear this all year round because it is comforting and delightful, just like home.

Just blind bought this and am very pleased with my purchase! Starts off peachy with lots of jasmine and dries down to be something less strong yet elegant. The patchouli in this doesn’t turn me away as it often does in other scents. Reminds me of Perfect without the artificial banana scent. I also get a faint sweet almond scent which was a wonderful surprise. Smells fresh, clean, and very feminine. Makes me feel put together and beautiful! A couple sprays will do, non-offensive so can wear to work daily and won’t be a bother. For sure one of my new favourite perfumes and will be wearing this year round, all the time (especially for the price)!

I'm going mirror some of the other positive reviews: this is nostalgic, youthful, beachy, summery. It's a sweet, creamy floral with a musty scent that reminds me of a wet swimsuit. Multiple people have mentioned that "wet" smell that I believe is the way the notes interact with the patchouli but it's SO comforting. This is one of my favorite perfumes. It's polarizing, so I recommend you find a used one where the notes have had time to settle. I can't gush about this fragrance enough. Sweet & creamy: like ice cream, maybe frozen yogurt, but light Floral: soft jasmine. Not loud, not sharp, not soapy Musty: almost aquatic? Soft, balanced.

Im honestly shocked by the negative reviews on this perfume, it is beautiful! The jasmine, peach and caramel are prominent, and in my opinion this fragrance is so sweet and fresh. To me, Yara Moi is a very feminine take on the "just came out the shower" smell with a creamy caramel on the side, and in my opinion it really captivates the middle ground of fresh and sweet. The sillage and longevity are both good as well, it lasts about 6 hours on my skin :) The bottle itself is also very beautiful, which is a huge plus if you are a collector of perfumes and care about the looks of the bootle! <3

I really love my OG Yara, but the description of the notes on this one grabbed me. The super-sweet characteristic of the Yaras, plus woodsy/spicy/patchouli? I can see why some wouldn't like it, but I enjoy this weird juxtaposition of sweet/floral and spicy/earthy. I got her 2nd hand, so she's most likely had time to macerate, too. Loving how it dried down on my skin. Very comforting and cozy. It's surprisingly still pretty strong and noticeable after 4 hours, and it's not very warm where I am right now.

Yara Moi is a caramel bomb to my nose. She's Gorgeous. Out of all the Yaras, Moi is the best. I had this one a year ago and I liked it but didn't love it. At first, I was bothered by that prominent patchouli note. Let me tell you... That patchouli drove my husband crazy. Whoohoo! He is kissing 70 and he went straight wild! I'm in my mid 50s and that reaction really caught me off guard! I'm on bottle number 3. Happy spouse, happy house.

I'm late to the party on Yara Moi, scared away initially by all the reviews here stating it smelled like corn chips and weird shit like that. But I got a sample eventually and rushed to buy a bottle. It smells like a creamy peach soap and is a lovely, comforting smell. Very soft and feminine. Safe for the office and would even work well in winter. The longevity is not great on me, but I've only had my bottle for a week.

Lattafa Yara Moi is a very feminine perfume that I can recommend because of its longevity, price-performance ratio, and how easy it is to buy. It has a beautiful rosy character that can come across as sweet and sexy, depending on the place and the activities. For a first perfume, however, it can also be quite strong. To me, it doesn’t really smell unnatural, but it is a bit too strong in terms of jasmine.

Right, just got it. I LOVE perfect intense by Marc Jacobs so that drove me to buy this. To my nose they are the same so far. So my advice is to go smell that first and if you like it order it!! Don't know anything about longevity as I literally just got it at work, opened fragrantica and wrote this. Got it for £20 Perfect Intense is around £90. Update: It's nuttier than Perfect Intense MJ

I loveee this scent, as does my sister. Unfortunately she had an allergic reaction to it; however, on me, it is fine. I'm not the best at picking up on notes, but I would say this is a gentle, sophisticated floral that isn't overwhelmingly sweet. Personally, I prefer it over the original Yara. Definitely one of my favorites so far. I'm going to look for something similar for my sister.

my favourite in the yara line for sure. it has a depth that the other yara's dont have. like others have said, its an easy to reach fragrance and well worth the price. i find that it can last a good 6+ hrs which is better than the og yara. a lovely creamy floral, not overly white floral which i love but a perfect blend with peach and caramel. definitely a win for me

I have seen many reviews saying that this is bad, but if you let it macerate it will smell like the dove original. I havent smelt it straight out the box but after macerating it for a long time it smells like the dove original and if you know me i LOVE the smell of dove. So if you don't like it the first time and you want it to smell better I will try macerating it

Floral with some spice. That jasmine w/ amber pops. It doesn't give sweet because of the caramel thankfully. Smells way more adult then regular Yara. On my skin it smells so unique. Smells like a sexy springy type of smell. Just because reg Yara is so hyped up, don't turn this 1 down. Give it a try. P.S. I hate patchouli but I didn't smell it here. . .thank god lol

I definitely pick up on a beautiful combination of jasmine, caramel and amber 😍 I bought this fragrance thinking it might be a little bit basic because of the notes listed but I can assure you this scent is sooo good it’s intoxicating in the best way possible. Definitely listing Yara Moi as my second favourite perfume in the collection. Absolutely recommended ❤️

I love the patchouli, sticky, tangy peach and a caramelly notes in this one! It's definitely unique. Not an everyday scent for me, but it does elevate my mood every time I wear it. I definitely prefer this over the pink Yara. I would like this one more if it was even more creamy and a little bit less patchouli heavy, but it's still a great fragrance!

I have the whole collection and this one is one of my favorites! I love how feminine and soft it is. It's not overpowering and it lasts a good 5 hours. I use this perfume almost daily. It's very angelic-like in my opinion. It's well blended and I love the jasmine and fruity note. I'd say it's a safe blind buy and I would definitely get it again!!!!!

I did not like this one at first. But one month later and it's now evolved so nicely. It's a lot nicer than the current rating would lead one to believe. However I understand everyone's nose and tastes are different. It's very similar to Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense. I prefer it for spring or summer, but I think it could be worn in the fall as well.

I have tried all of Lattafa's Yara range and I love all of them, but this Yara Moi is definitely my favourite by far, it's a beautiful sweet floral fragrance with a prominent & strong jasmine scent, which complements the sweet notes of peach and caramel very well. It smells so nice on my skin and I like the longevity of it on my skin.

To me it smells like Alien by Mugler but if it was made a bit sweeter. It has that same woodyness alien has probably coming from the patchouli/ sandalwood mix but with added “gourmand” touches from the peach and caramel. I’m definitely a fan of Moi, and being a white floral patchouli lover this hit all the right spots for me

Best out of all the Yaras. If you're a fan of amber-y jasmine scents, this one is great. Synthetic smelling, but still very classy. More mature and not playful like the other Yaras, but not matronly either. Lasts forever, at least 8-10 hours. Might be a little cloying for summer wear, but good for the rest of the year.

Definitely a repurchase for me! I love Perfect Intense & this is a creamier powdery take. Condensed milk & warm nuts. Great blind buy for me. Reminds me of Fields at Nightfall but nuttier. Sweet & light. A year later & it's even smoother. Intimate. 3-4h skin & 8h+ on clothes.

This is r best Out of the years flankers. This lasts 12 hours and dries down to a beautiful skin scent. The peach, the caramel jasmine and Amber blend AMAZINGLY. I can't understand how people don't love this. This is a floral seductive scent that can be worn in any weather.

The instant I sprayed this I thought of my middle school friend who lived on the beach and always smelled great growing up. Simple, nostalgic, a tad fruity, but not so much so to be childish. I somehow get the idea of powder and fresh laundry. Great daytime summer scent.

This perfume last long on me but its very intimate and sits close to the skin I really smell the caramel on me. Its soft, sweet,floral, and toxicating smell. I dont own any other smell in my collection that smell similar to this that i know of. It 8s definitely a keeper.

I really like this perfume and the price is amazing. I could see all ages wear this and it's very versatile. It's pretty non-offensive and it lasts pretty good. You could wear this on it's own, but i could see this being a good layering perfume. 8/10 <333

This is my favorite of the Yara fragrances, it is less sweet has a more complex scent. I've had many compliments wearing it. The other Yara scents remind me of sugary sweetness, this one has the more muted woody scent that I find more mature.

I love this more than the original version. Get a fruity opening from the peach and jasmine. It does have an earthy touch from the patchouli that I personally enjoy. I don’t get much caramel though it’s definitely creamy from the sandalwood.

Just gorgeous! Soft, creamy, sexy, uplifting and comforting. Scent bubble is practically visible! Both Yaras blow my socks off. Fantastic for layering or alone.. Can't wait for more flankers, I know I'm going to blind buy every single one 😂

Great white floral-tropical scen. To me, it smells pretty similar to the orange one, but with more white floral dominance on it. Love them both, but the downside is that it only lasts about 1-2h on skin, and almost non existant on clothes.

If you like the notes but aren't sure if it'll smell chemical-y like the other comments, get the perfume oil it's like actually 20/10 bro I got it for my friend but I can't stop smelling the box it was delivered in it IS that good.

I really enjoy this one. It is a light scent sweet floral scent that is more mature smelling than the others in the Yara collection. It's a good balance of woody, sweet, floral, and clean smelling. I super nice every day scent.

Well, well. The only Yara left in my collection. They all turn nasteh after a while. They're all a little funky. This one is the most hated and yet, that pungent jasmine patchouli combo gets me...mmm it's so good. I love it.

This fragrance gives me Chanel vibes, like something along the lines of Coco Mademoiselle, only fresher and sassier. It’s perfect for daytime wear. Layer it with Choco Musk by Al-Rehab, and you’ll thank me later.

I dont smell any distinct notes in this one but vauge whispers of unidentifiable mixes. Maybe the most distinguishable is the wooden essential? Confusing but I like it! It has gotten better over time

I really like this - it’s fruity, sweet, soft and floral. It’s easy to wear. The performance isn’t great - it only lasts about an hour on me. I’ve enjoyed using my bottle but I won’t re-buy.
