Yara Tous

I love this so much. It is everything I thought it would be plus more! A beautifully blended fruity, musky floral. Tropical but there's definitely no 'sun tan lotion' notes, Mango is the predominant note. It's a classy and sophisticated mango, not candied or juvenile in it's sweetness. The coconut & heliotrope give it a softness, but it's definitely not a "powdery" scent. It is not the same as PR's Fame, although it is just as lovely, even better to my nose. Projection is great for the first few hours, then it settles down but the wearer can still smell it going strong for at least the first 5-6 hours. It's a real compliment getter. Safe to wear at work in enclosed spaces, it isn't cloying or screechy in anyway. It's basically a tropical beach holiday in a bottle. It's uplifting! I have been experimenting layering it with Khadlaj's Hareem Al Sultan Gold CPO or Hareem Al Sultan Blue CPO & the scent is divine!!!! Makes this perfume last all that bit longer on skin. This perfume lasts a lot longer on clothing too, you can still smell it days later when you go to put it in the wash. This is a must have if you love to collect fragrances. I'm buying a back up bottle. EDITED TO ADD: Like MOST Lattafa & other Middle Eastern Fragrances, this perfume needs maceration time. This got way BETTER after macerating in the wardrobe for a couple months, so please don't give up on it if it isn't all you expected when you first get it. How to macerate a fragrance: Spray it 4-5 times when you first get it and then put it away in a drawer or a dark cupboard for at least a few weeks. Some need even longer. These perfumes get better and better the longer you have them.

There is a note in the mid to drydown of Yara Tous (US 2008 recession enjoyers, reminisce!!) that smells precisely like the sleek+smooth conditioner from Suave. I was around nine or ten years old when the recession hit; a silver-pearl plastic bottle of that conditioner with the orange label always sat inside our shower. I think, looking back, we had a lot of them simply because they were pretty inexpensive, but the aroma of that conditioner in the heat of a shower stuck with me all these years. Yara Tous has an industrially musky core note, rounded out with notes of vanilla, white flowers, and tropical fruits, without being too soapy, sweet, foody, or plasticky. I don't necessarily get a super realistic mango or coconut, but there is a strong tropical fruit accord. Yara Tous dries down within an hour of application and then persists for six to eight hours. The projection isn't particularly intense, aggressive, or room-filling, but it's by no means private or invisible. Longevity is obviously better on clothes (why do we still mention that?), but you trade projection for longevity there. Yara Tous is a perfectly safe selection for summer, though I've worn it through all seasons and liked it. It might become a little cloying if you apply more than four full trigger sprays and immediately step out into 90° weather, and I'd advise staying under four sprays in general. For the cost, this is a banger, and it's safe to buy without sampling.

I don’t own Yara bc I am not sure it is my cup of tea. I purchased Yara Tous bc it was said to be similar to Rabanne Fame & Alien Goddess. I had sampled both and really like them. So I got this and was so glad I did. This is a creamy, fruity floral. The florals stand out more than expected, but that is what makes this so good to me. The humidity is very high where I live and the florals almost make this too much for summer days. I have to go lightly for those 90+ humidity days. I found that this shows out on hot summer nights though. Performance has improved greatly since I received it. Because the performance is so good and the density of the fragrance, I will be able to wear most of the year here. I plan to layer with some spice, scents that deepen the creaminess, and the sweetness. Maybe try some woody fragrance oils to add depth to the dry down. I just know that Tous is dense enough to carry cooler weather, it has a warmness to it. I am very glad I got this. For the price, so well worth it. 10/10

I got this as a Christmas present. It's my fourth time wearing it. Smelling my arm... gathering my thoughts... I really like it. Real mango has a peppery note at the very end when you breathe it in (at least it does for me), and it must for other people, because the scent here is accurate. It's mango with that peppery ending. That alone would give it a thumbs up for me. But when you smell it in its entirety, it's even prettier. It's like eating fresh mango while walking through a healthy flower garden. It's very springtime. Every time I've worn it, it's at its strongest and most noticeable for me for the first 5 hours, and then only readable when I smell my skin. It just misses the 6-hour minimum I prefer, but I find myself willing to forgive that because it's so pretty. Still debating if I'll repurchase this when I finish it. But is this something I would take on vacation? Absolutely. A picnic? Hell, would I wear it on a hike in autumn or winter? Yes.

I am obsessed. This is so gorgeous. It opens up so juicy, like a blast of sweet mango and tangy passionfruit with some coconut which makes it creamy. I very quickly get the white florals, definitely the jasmine and some orange blossom. I would describe it as a juicy and creamy white floral fragrance, the white florals definitely steal the show here, it smells like monoi to me. it dries down to a beautiful and creamy vanilla white floral scent with some juiciness from the fruit. It's like a creamy white floral/tropical fruit smoothie. I also get the heliotrope like in the original yara. This definitely has a similar DNA to OG yara in the dry down, they feel like flankers for sure, in the best way since I absolutely love the original yara. I definitely recommend this for the summer, wow I love !! 🧡

💛💛💛I tested it today at 13:00, in a sunny, very warm day in July. It smells exactly like that ^^ I like it very much! It's elegant, "secretly happy" that glows from within, playful, warm, sunny.☀️ It opens with juicy yellow fruits (mostly mango). It is feminine, soft, creamy and summer-y. Perfect for women in their late 20s'- early 40s imo. I'm very particular with whatever contains musc, as I usually dislike it, but this one is soft, smooth, slightly sweet vanilla (not really a gourmand), and clearly "oriental". On my skin, the fruit notes dissapear after 1-2 h, but what remains in the drydown is very soft, smooth, feminine, discreet, yet "visible". I'll get a full bottle 💛💛💛 Update: I've got it! I love it. It's my first Middle Eastern/Arabian perfume and I plan to expand my collection ^^

I bought her in a 4-pack at TJ Maxx at a very fair price, so my review may reflect that. I think she is lovely. A nice summery scent of fruitiness. Not too complex, but not dull either. Quickly goes from super fruity to floral notes. If you are looking for that fruity juiciness to stick around - it does not - at least not on me. She is sweet, but not sickeningly so. I would purchase again - if at a great deal as I got. The biggest scent pop I get out of this one is Jasmine. I will say, while it does not pull much coconut, the coconut it does pull is NOT chemical or scratchy as many coconut notes do on me. I would give her a solid 8/10 for the price point. Paid 18.99 for the four-pack of about 1 ounce each. (GREAT deal!)

My absolute favorite from the Yara line! Every time I use it, people compliment me on it and ask what I'm wearing... The fruit combination is delicious and tropical, while the florals add femininity, and the vanilla, musk, cashmere give it this creaminess with just the right amount of sweetness... It's the embodiment of a tropical milkshake - super addictive! The projection is amazing, it leaves a trail around you that others will catch easily. And not to mention its longevity which is also incredible - it lasts over 24hrs on fabric, and 12hrs on skin. As it macerates, it just keeps getting better... I totally will keep buying this one.

I got it as a blind buy last summer when there was a giant fuss about it and... honestly it's pretty good! I've seen some people here say that they dont smell any mango or coconut but I def do. It has a very heavy mango smell and, in my opinion, less coconut. My boyfriend associated it with a sun lotion and I actually smell it. So if you want to smell like that, this is for you. As for the longevity, it lasts around 6-8 hours on my skin. This is def a day fragrance but please don't spray too much as it can be pretty suffocating for others, especially in hot weather. Worth the money!

This is so good. ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ The first thing that came to mind was Alien Goddess and Olympéa Solar, two of my favorite fragrances. They don't smell the same, but they give me the same warm, sunny feeling. I get mango and coconut at first, but to me this isn't really a tropical fragrance. As it settles, the jasmine becomes more noticeable and gives it a soft, solar feel. Even though "solar" isn't listed in the notes, that's exactly how it smells to me. I also get a soft, cashmere-like feeling in the background. It's warm, feminine and really easy to wear. Love it! ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

Very nice perfume! I was looking for a tropical smelling perfume so I turned to this. Surprisingly, just like it happened to other reviwers here, it didn't smell very fruity on my skin, mostly white florals, especially jasmine. I couldn't smell any strong mango or coconut, so I will purchase another local brand perfume heavy on mango. This one is truly lovely, feminine, soft (projection wasn't very good on me) and floral. Safe choice imo if you like white florals with a touch of fruit. Longevity was rather weak, around 3 hours.

I can't believe it took me this long to test out Yara Tous, it's an amazing mango summer scent profile that I really like and have been looking for. I just overlooked it because I hated Yara Moi and Yara was just okay. For reference I really like the smell of Cheirosa 87/Rio Radiance and this comes very close to it! Even better actually because it has that sparkly champagne dry down. I'm so sorry Yara Tous I'm buying a full bottle of you immediately to make up for our lost time 😭😭😭

I've had mine for at least three years now. I just recently came back to this and just WOW! This has aged to that ripe, rich, juicy and fibrous mango we all craved. It's the only Lataffa (decluttered) left in my collection and keeping. It's so good guys, hang onto it if it's not "good enough" because it will be. My favorite part of this baby is the sillage at dry down. STUNNING! IMO , this is a masterpiece 👏

After a year of using Yara Tous I can say that there is something very strong and unpleasant that kills the vibe and kills the sweetness and pleasant moments. It is so pronounced from the first spray and it simply will not go away. It is a shame because it is a nice scent, but this strong unknown scent that absolutely disarm all the senses and cause a headache is unbearable, artificial and harsh.

A wonderful tropical fragrance that starts with a delicious mango note. Then a creamy jasmine appears, and it finishes with musk and jasmine—a smooth, rounded, creamy scent that makes you feel happy. If it were in a different bottle with a designer name on it, it would cost many times more. This is the only fragrance in my life that I have bought three times. A truly amazing and beautiful scent.

I love this scent but I wouldn't say it is a tropical fruit smell. I would definitely consider it a jasmine/white floral scent that is balanced out with some fruity notes. I think this is a great buy if you love jasmine perfume but you are looking for something that will wear better in the summertime, which is exactly what I wanted from this perfume so I am very happy with my blind buy.

Mango, coconut, vanilla, jasmine... My kind of notes. Love it! Great projection and sillage. Even when I get noseblind to it, people around me have complimented on smelling good. Before I repurchase this, I would give Ajayeb Dubai Portrait a try and compare the performance of the two. Yara Tous has been my staple this summer! I am still tempted to repurchase this, but I will be nice!

I don't care what anybody says. I love this Yara. It also stays longer on my skin than both the other two flanker and original . You can smell the mango all the way through and this perfume stays on the skin for a while. I was absolutely surprised. I was still getting whiffs off my skin the next morning. good stuff. Don't listen to the Youtubers. This is a good perfume.

This smells beautiful in me! Very cream, the opening is mango and is by far one of the most complimented ones in my shelves, creamy mango coco, a litlle bit a white flower which is jasmine, well balanced, very pretty for the summer but for winter even more, it's very sweet, I think it goes to the limit btw gourmand and fruity floral, it would be a flormand*

This one is definitely one of my favorites in my collection. Mostly because I love some fruity perfumes that I can wear in summer and Tous definitely met my expectations. I love mangoes, jasmine and coconut, all which can be found in this fragrance. I love this perfume with all my heart, and I will be buying another one when it finishes. 11/10

First spray smells very floral. After half an hour it smells like you’re eating a mango sitting next to a flower field. After an hour i only smell the mango, coconut and vanilla. It’s sweet, fruity and a bit lactonic. So good! I could see myself wearing this a lot on vacation or in summer. I got about 8 hours longevity on skin.

This fragrance is amazing for warmer weather. It’s a cozy fruity coconut scent that reminds me of a refreshing shower after tanning outside in the summer. It gives off such a clean tropical vibe. I love it. I can’t wait to wear it this spring/ summer. Longevity is really good compared to other yaras. My favorite!

This is fresh juicy mango should be good as summer fragrance, i thought it would be cloying with coconut scent but it just give some creamy accords to it. I'll go for this rather than zimaya rabab pulp (the opening is just disappointing), performance no comment since it was cheap, no cap~ Rate 8.5/10 ✨

I got this perfume for Christmas and I love it! It's such a creamy, delicious mango scent. It reminds me of rich mango bodybutter, so comforting and perfect for the spring/summer, although you can wear this all year round. Definitely more of a day time fragrance, very easy to wear. I'm obsessed!

I don't like the initial opening of this at all, it reminds me of cleaning products, but once it dries down this is a stunning tropical fragrance, that lasts forever. One spray on my arm and 12 hours later it is still clearly there. Great value and a perfect summer fragrance.

Love the fresh fruity opening. It’s definitely a reminder of late Spring and Summer. After a few hours I am really getting the jasmine and musk and a bit of coconut. Just love this one more than I remembered! Highly recommend as it’s so inexpensive and I get many compliments.

Bought this on a whim because I wanted a mango fragrance - I would say mango is not the forefront, but I still fell in love at first sniff. It's very well blended and feels like the kind of scent I'd wear while vacationing on a beach or a boat. It's sexy, sweet, and playful.

I really love this Yara. Have let it macerate and now it is performing so well. The way it smells when I’m on the move and wear it outdoors vs indoors is also slightly different; I know many have said it’s a great summer scent but it smells amazing in colder weather.

this is one of my favourite perfumes from Lattafa along with Yara Moi, I love all the sweet tropical notes of mango and passionfruit in this and it smells so beautiful on my skin. I have tried most of the fragrances from the Yara range and so far I love all of them.

I’m from the Philippines so believe me when I say I smell ripe mango on this one so I don’t get people saying they don’t get any mango. This would be perfect if the floral is toned down a bit as I would like more of that coconut and mango note. I still love this!

Passionfruit and mango with floral and musk is such a divine combination. Its playful and interesting at first but later is soft and elegant, fresh and sweet but not to much. It is tropical but tropic feeling fade away in floral musky sunset.

it’s like enjoying Phuket sun with mango sticky rice and passion fruit soda in a lush jasmine garden. Yes, it screams tropical party through and through. Stays 6+ hours on my skin despite equatorial heat. Great performance and price

One of my favourite perfumes for Summer. I smell mostly the jasmine and the mango - beware it's as floral as it's tropical and not for those who dislike flowers. It makes me feel on holiday. Lasts decently and projects okay.

Maybe I’m a basic B, but this stuff smells good. This is my first, and probably only, Yara. I hate the orange packaging. It’s AWFUL. That’s what happens when there are no women involved in production.

Not bad! I thought I would hate it but once it mellows / macerates it’s a fun juicy mango for summer casual days. It’s also a bit green and woody with a lovely creaminess to it.

I do not know how consistent the batches are. Had mine for almost a year. Mine smells like peach rings meet caramel/Molasses with musk.

usually hate mango notes as they can be a bit sickly but this is sooo balanced. jasmine ties this whole fragrance together.

I decided to leave the write up unaltered although notes are now available) 6 sprays on clean skin in 78 degrees. 1. Middle Eastern Vibe (oud/spice centric): No 2. Projection: 4/10. About 2-3 feet. 3. Longevity: 4/10. About 3 hours. 4. Drydown: About 15 minutes. 5. Pineapple/sandalwood forward on test strip after full drydown. 6. Time Niche: Spring/Summer. Daytime. TASTE: Pineapple Julius. Peach/pineapple milkshake. Jarritos pineapple soda. Juicy Fruit gum. Fruit Stripe gum. SMELL: Rainbow sherbet. Tropical fruit smoothie. Ambrosia salad topped off with edible flowers. Peach nectar and mango nectar. Dole tropical fruit cocktail. SIGHT: A bouquet of yellow Gerbera daisies. Fruit buffet (carved fruit) on a cruise ship with flower centerpieces. SOUND: Abba- Mamma Mia. Dolly Parton's voice. Olivia Newton-John's voice. TOUCH: Biting into a super juicy fruit on a hot day with juices running down your chin. This fragrance is like a cannonball jump into a pool. Makes a huge splash at first and then just sends soft ripples after. The musk acts as a buffer and adds a creaminess to the acidic nature of the pineapple. Florals tie in the peach and mango notes. Sandalwood balances out the tanginess of the tropical notes. Synthetic, yet really well balanced and blended. Two notches above a body spray. Playful, youthful, and bright in warm weather. Luxurious, lactonic tropical, with high-end-island-hotel-lobby vibes. The patrons saunter by with their perfectly-pressed white linen pants, designer shades, wide sun hats, and shimmering, sunkissed skin slathered in expensive sunscreen that you won't find in any drugstore or supermarket. I am in LOVE. This combo of mango and coconut is divine, and I love that the only citrus here is passionfruit and it's light; just enough to keep the lactonic undertow from pulling the composition too sweet or creamy...it's just creamy enough. The white florals and powdery heliotrope keep things "quilt-like"....just enough thickness to be cozy, not so much as to be cloying. Vanilla/musk is a classic combo that rarely hits wrong with me and the cashmeran keeps things sensuous and more mature. Sillage is moderate, longevity is a good 6 hours. Tous is a pleaser...... *Like mango scents? Go for it. *Llike coconut scents? Go for it. *Like white florals? Go for it. *Like fruity gourmands? Go for it. *Like sunscreen scents? Go for it. For the price...seriously, just go for it. I have only one word of caution....even though it was only $20USD at Burlington, I'm desperately craving an exotic beach vacation now so, in the end, it may end up costing me (and maybe you too!) thousands...so maybe take that into account. ;)

I was undecided what to wear today for work and this was sat near the back of my collection looking unloved. It’s one I pass over quite often for some reason perhaps because I wasn’t 100% keen on it when I purchased it - which was probably the wrong time of year to appreciate it. The British sun was making a rare appearance today so I thought mango why not? This really surprised me. I confess i probably did overspray slightly as I’d read previous reviews that it didn’t last long but I could smell this on myself all day, including outside and a couple of colleagues commented on how nice I smelt and so did some of the children I work with. If you have ever worked in a school you’ll know how brutally honest kids can be and if they didn’t like a smell boy would I know about it. Additionally it’s nice to smell my perfume and not the scent of a classroom of students experimenting with Axe/Lynx Africa. Will wear this is warm - not scorchio weather more
