Forever Touche d'Argent

This starts out true to its name. Cool and metallic like silver, with the green floral touch of lily of the valley, sharp citrus, dry pink pepper and a hint of marine notes. It's very clean smelling, but quite sharp and scratchy! The heart and base consists of the typical ultra sweet, creamy, vanilla-infused tuberose we smelled in so many designer releases in the last couple of years, sweetened up with some extra caramel and pear. In the drydown the mixture of sweet creamy and more masculine fresher notes remind me vaguely of a lesser CH Good Girl. Maybe I'm biased because I'm not a fan of either lotv, oceanic or metallic notes and I'm a bit over sugared white florals right now, but in my opinion the two parts of the fragrance clash with each other. Not terribly so, it's still a rather inoffensive designer offering. But it feels like they wanted to try a new twist and didn't succeed. Maybe the Biagiotti house should have looked at their iconic fragrances from the last century as an inspiration instead?

Clean,powdery and a bit cold. Like the fragrances from Jil Sander. It is pleasant but nothing groundbreaking. It also stays pretty linear. It is inoffensive.

Very unique and pretty! Starts spicy and peppery and cold full on bright pink pepper but as it develops warm caramel vanilla shows up. Very exceptional and unexpected. From the first spray it didn't peak my interest but after a few minutes I kept sniffing the blotter and did a skin test. Dry down is a warm caramel vanilla with a touch of cold metal.
