Roma Uomo Green Swing

Tried this yesterday on a tester strip. Super green, but fresh and bright from the bergamot and quince as well. You'd think from the notes that it would be more woody. (though the cedar and vetiver lingering in the background give it some depth) But this is a green fragrance to me. Would like to try some on my skin next time and test for longevity, but it did not smell weak to me. So I'm not sure about the longevity or sillage yet. Spring, Summer and most of Fall would suit this for wear I think. Very pleasant. It made me happy just smelling it. If I had to put it in a category I'd say a green, slightly woody, warm weather Barber Shop vibe frag. Reminds me a bit of a fresher, stronger Sir Irisch Moos. Manly but not Uber masculine. It's still a bit pricey here in Switzerland since it's so new. But if it drops a bit I'd take a swing.

It is a tender, light and not bitter green. Quince is well made, almost has a pear skin type of smell but less sweet. Juicy bergamot and ozonic violet leaf which gives a slightly watery hue to the scent. This is not listed, but the overall feel is a "Aloe Vera"-like type of green freshness. Feels like you're laid in the grass on a cloudless spring day, with the automatic sprinklers on around you. Longevity is subpar, sillage and projection are almost non-existent but it does just feel too invigorating and refreshing not to excuse that.

Cashmere wood is a musk that gives this a very soft base against the piercing fresh cucumber-infused green spiciness. A classic, sporty and easy to wear fragrance that’s got much more to offer than vast majority of much more expensive fragrances out there. This is charismatic and although it’s not as good as the original ROMA, for its category I’ve got myself a winning blind buy! 8/10

Theres something very nostalgic about this one. Almost smells like a release from the early 2000s if not late 1990s. to me it paints a picture of being around an evergreen field with lots of plants and leaves. A very nice easy going scent, happy i brought it with me on summer holiday!

As green as it gets! Very brave launch! Not sweet, not necessarily mass appealing but a strong, green, herbal character. Not mossy green but fresh, juicy, leafy sort of green. Has a vibe of the 2001 Fendi Theorema. Almost botanical yet still modern & appealing! Bravo Biagiotti!

Smells like cucumber, which is great, because I love cucumber. Also some flowery notes in there, like a warm summer morning, someone’s mowing the grass, moderate chance of rain later today.

As usual Perfumer Daphne Bugey doing a great job.. already I have and enjoying all over the year by "a scent by issey miyake" .. her taste is very close to my soul and my heart ❤️🌹..

I had a sample. And when I tested it, I accidentally sprayed a little on the collar of my leather jacket. When I happened to smell that spot on the jacket on the next day, I had to buy a big bottle. Because it smelled so good. And unique. I coincidentally discovered a little gem. This is a green and fresh scent BUT it is not aquatic. It is woody in the base with cashmeran. overall, it is reminiscent of freshly cut grass, mainly in the opening. And there is a subtle sweetness from Tonka Bean. if you like the smell of freshly cut grass, cardamom and cashmeran, you will love this one. I don't get the mint vibes, as some have mentioned. The dry-down is a lot about cardamom. Bergamot: there is just a bit in the opening which is fading away. And that fresh Quince note. So, this is a fresh scent without a citrus hammer. what it's not: not uber-masculine, not mossy, and there is no fir or pine. it's not a citrus scent. There are no barbershop vibes nor aquatic vibes (I can't entirely agree with the scale), and it doesn't smell synthetic. It's the kind of fragrance that fits perfect when you go to a seminar for example, a briefing, when there are plenty of people sitting next to you. Nobody would feel bothered by it as there are no intrusive notes. Performance: ....is the weak point of Green Swing. but I don't care. The most important aspect of any fragrance is the DNA and Green Swing smells good. The performance "problem" can be solved by reapplying - it's pretty inexpensive. longevity is about 4 to 5 hours, and longer on clothes of course. I The projection is an arm's length, for about 1.5 hours. scent: 7.5/10 performance: 4/10 price:9/10 uniqueness 9/10

Not green , but really good! The opening is really nice with that Quince/Cardamom/Bergamot vibe and it comes really juicy and sweet. As it dries down that fruitiness stays from the Quince and the Geranium and Cashmere wood gets more prominent. It has some similarities with JOOP WOW! , but this one is more fruity and fresh, but also lasts longer. For a special edition it is really nice and for the price it will probably go for when it hits discounters in it will be a good buy for spring or summer. For me: 7/10

It's a surprisingly warm and sunny day here today, and I've had this on for a few hours. All I can say, it's great, such a lovely and uplifting fragrance. Green, floral and citrussy, with a very smooth wooden base. Lasted about six hours, projected fairly well. The original DNA is there, but I'm reminded of something along the lines of Davidoff Good Life, a much missed gem. Of all the flankers, this is the best yet.

Can’t deny I like this, I’m a sucker for anything green and violet is always good. It’s very very close smellwise to Herrera 212. If you like what you hear, try it. It’s a simplistic really fresh juicy green for spring and summer. A bit towards unisex. Great stuff. Edit: I seem to love this nose Daphne, she likes these green woody scents and has done Original Wood, which also reminds me of 212 herrera!

A woody take on the og dna, adding a burst of green and spicy, almost minty freshness (quince and cardamom prominent in the opening). I kind of like this one for the spring/summer seasons. Performance is slightly below average and you'll probably need to overspray and/or re-apply. . My favorites in the line remain the original and Nero by a long mile though.

Got one small bottle in the duty free shop at Rome Fiumicino airport in May 2023, after being offered a sample by one of the saleswomen. It's a shame this doesn't project well, because I kind of enjoy the combination of notes it offers. Pleasing but rather too mild to be worn on a hot/humid summer day.

Come on, this isn’t so bad. It’s a soft, light and green scent with a smooth woody backbone. Quite elegant although nothing too special. Smells way above it’s price point. 7/10

Tasted on a paper strip, it's a mixture of tonka beans, seaweed and acacia blossom. Very, very clean scent, simple and refreshing.

It Is good, pretty good for me, but It fades very quickly on me unfortunately...

Sillage: 10/0 Longevity: 10/0 Avoid.

Quince in the opening is nice but you don’t get that once you overspray, and it’s necessary to overspray on skin and clothing to get anything over an hour from it. Dry down from mid is like Trussardi’s and Bentley mentioned below. Trussardi Uomo and the Bentley both last and seem more dense and substantial, making them better buys. It’s a lovely spray in the air at first hit, but beyond that there are others that do it better. Nobody is smelling this unless they are glued to you beyond the first hour. Inoffensive juice, ideal for Siamese twins where 1 is allergic to perfume.

Doesn't smell like anything natural at all... it's a chemically salty green mess.. nothing like Roma. The "cardamom" here just give a really harsh toilet cleaner vibe, it's not the smooth cardamom

Too much alcoholic , nose burning made me caugh.
