Lumiere D'Ambre

a beautiful amber connotation ..a light luminous amber ..first spray reminds me of obsession ck.. one of my favourite perfumes.. the old obsession with a bit more amber..i still don't have long relation wearing this perfume.. but i bought it along with amber passion and magique lehure ..they ve been on my want list for a while now ..i respect laura merci perfumes.. the quality is good.. compared to the new chemical aromas we smell every where ..the perfumes have a retro vintage vibe to them ..in a modern way.. they are long lasting.. sensual.. beautiful.. in a feminine.. sultry way .. obsession ck lovers will find another love.. almost a copy in a more ambery way.. its reminiscent of vintage obssesion ck.. prior to 2000.. which was more ambery.. more sensuale.. deeper..laura mercies has a bit more spice and amber..it can even be used as a unisex perfume if layered well ..its not utterly swet or cloying ..its dry..i like this dry quality about it..woodsy spicy..oriental.. it has a patchulie vanila incensy vibe.. its a deep aromatic perfume.. almost opulent scent.. its resinous full of labedanaum or myrh and resins not sure what but they are full of mystery ..depth strenght and heritage.. an oriental, to me the note description is not so full of white florals.. to me maybe different deeper florals ..but more on the woodsy.. ambery.. patchulie side.. a deep resinous scent.. that takes you back in time.. to the incense route.. from Oman to Athens ..a perfume full of memories.. a journey in a bottle.. a memorable scent.. reminiscent of warm summer nights.. the perfume develops and warms with your body.. and gives different vibes with every passing moment.. making it more interesting.. it mingles and meshes with your being..a bit peppery..i personally enjoyed its obsession like opening.. the warmer it gets the more incensy ..more spicy ..it gets..there is a pepper note in the back that distinguishes it from obsession.. i personally stay away from such peppers.. but in this connotation.. its tactful.. playful.. giving it a modern vibe ..in a classic way.. all in al its a winner ..one of the few perfumes i actually liked in the past couple of years ..i found it at blomingsdale and at lafayet for about 100 us $ for 50 ml edp

After a long hunt for this fragrance for a somewhat decent price I finally got it! What a beauty! To my nose it smells like a lighter version of Ambre Passion: a little bit less spicy, a bit flowery, overall just as gorgeous as the older sister!

Beautiful pure amber scent. This is reminiscent of Ambre Passion but I'd say the amber is deeper, more aggressive. This goes on super smooth and creamy, warm and cozy. A beautiful amber worth owning and wearing often!

This amber is about the best I've ever smelt! It's glorious! Deep and pure, it glows!!! Absolutely wonderful perfume.
