Néroli du Sud Eau de Parfum

Love love love this! Bitter, refreshing, zingy neroli. It is such a clever combination of all the notes together, as none overpowers and seems out of tune. The opening is zesty and bitter, then the sparkly creamy neroli appears, soon accompanied by a softly sweet orange. The drydown is powdery orange-neroli with some mentholated feel to it, that suedic powderiness reminds of PDM's Valaya a lot. A gorgeous fragrance for hot summer traveling when in need of reinvigorating, rejuvenating aroma. It smells like a good, expensive spa product, like ESPA, for example. The price though... Hm, it is more expensive per ml than some refreshing perfumes from true luxury brands, like Hermes. And I found it somewhere at the bottom of the cosmetics shelf.

Classic tart citric clean neroli. Green, floral, unsweet, doesn't smell like shampoo or sweetened up orange juice, thank god. Like a bright sunny breezy May morning. Exceeded my expectations based on other Laura Mercier fragrances I smelled in the past. Retail price is ridiculous, especially considering utilitarian bottle, design and packaging, but can be found in rack stores or online at a much much more appealing and reasonable price. Repeat buy for me.

A simple, green, clean, citrusy white floral bolstered by lavender and a voluminous white musk - all in good proportions - nothing offensive here. Fresh, zingy, comforting, chatty and casual. An easy grab and spray on a hot summer day before walking to the nearest bodega for a snack or a chat with a friend in the park. Like opening a window - easy, breezy and inviting.

Absolutely love this. It's a clean laundry scent in the best way. The opening is a bit sharp, but that doesn't last. Projection is good. Lasting power isn't the greatest. You can find it at TJ Maxx and similar stores sometimes and it's a great value.

Laura Mercier's Néroli opens with a bright, refreshing citrus burst, green and characterized by bitter lemon and a subtle hint of orange peel. The overall impression is one of soapy cleanliness, but with a dry quality—reminiscent of a refined soap bar rather than a shower gel. As my wife enjoys bright lemon verbena scents, this fragrance proved to be a fitting choice for summer occasions. The packaging is minimalistic, bordering on clinical, and unlikely to make a significant impression as a gift. While the bottle design is also somewhat underwhelming, it features an impressive pressurized atomizer that dispenses a generous and exceptionally fine mist.

I REALLY missed Ellis Brooklyn's discontinued Rives, and this is a perfect dupe for it. If you can find it in Marshalls for $16 as I did, very safe buy! Very clean girl, polished vibe, and works very well for professional settings.

Nothing too heavy here, all top notes basically. I have a little roller and it's going to be just the thing to throw in my toiletries bag for summer travels. The neroli in this one seems particularly nice to me.

I am not a big fan of lemon scents at all, and was definitely thrown off at first sniff when I got an overwhelming whiff of the lemon verbena; mixed with the neroli, lavendar, and orange, I honestly got a green, pickle-esque scent that was very offputting. Once the perfume dried down, I could finally smell the more floral neroli note, the lemon was still very noticeable but slightly more balanced than at first, and the orange was more delicate and complimentary. Unfortunately, the lemon verbena is just too strong and overpowering in this fragrance for me to like it; it also has that off putting green pickle smell that remains in the background even after the dry down. Someone who really loves green, lemony floral scents would probably like this perfume, but it is just not for me at all.

i wanted to love this cuz it was 16.99 at marhalls, but i just don’t. it’s not terrible, but not even worth 17 bucks in my opinion. the opening was sharp like an orange rind & bitter neroli, which i find kinda nice. it then dried down into a clean (tide detergent) musky / white floral situation. hours later, it dried down into a hay-like bad breath which was really off putting. i’m writing this as i sniff my wrist a few hours after initially spraying. it’s making me feel nauseous. overall i think it would be okay for a grandma on a budget.

This is very bright and citrusy and green and aromatic. I personally find it a bit sharp and astringent, not up my alley at all. It reminds me a lot of something from The Body Shop, I believe Satsuma. If you enjoyed that, you might be into this. It doesn't smell bad, just not my vibe.

I have no idea why my review got taken down, as I had good and bad things to say about this perfume. The orange in this is slightly astringent like a cleaning product, but the perfume has a honeyed backdrop to the orange as if there's beeswax in here. The neroli note itself that emerges in the drydown is nice and realistic, with a hay-like accord that shows it's high quality.

This is bright, zesty, summery citrus and borderline cleaning product and I love it. I wear this when I want to get crap done. I wore this the other day and deep cleaned my house. My house smelled clean and so did I. It’s not for everyone, but every scent has its place and if you like to smell energetically clean, this is it.

Not a huge fan of this one. Very heavy on the lavender. I also smell the verbena and neroli. It smells very natural, like an essential oil blend. As it dries down, it does become more drier sheet-like, somewhat like the listed Marseille by Comme Des Garcons, but with more lavender.
