Après Ski immediately wrapped me up in the kind of warmth that feels holiday-coded in the best way. From the first spray, it’s cozy, spicy, and inviting — like stepping inside after the cold with flushed cheeks, a knit sweater, and something delicious warming in your hands. The whiskey note is smooth and comforting rather than sharp, paired beautifully with clove for that unmistakable seasonal spice. The maraschino cherry adds a nostalgic sweetness that feels festive without tipping into syrupy territory, while the musk keeps everything grounded and wearable. It’s warm, a little indulgent, and incredibly comforting. What I love most is how evocative this feels. It instantly brought up memories of winter holidays, gatherings, and that cozy in-between time when everything feels slower and more intentional. This is absolutely a cold-weather scent for me, and I already know I’m going to love it even more when the season rolls around again. This was a blind buy for me because of the notes. Regrettably, I don't get much cherry, but the whisky and cloves are very present. It smells warm and cozy, like sitting by a fireplace. My husband said it smelled like Christmas, and he really enjoyed it. I think that is due to the cloves, so maybe Après Ski smells a little more like wassail than an old fashioned. Overall, I like the fragrance even though it didn't match what I was expecting, and it is one that my husband and I can both see ourselves using.

the cherry is very muted here, which had me a little disappointed, but it's such a nice fragrance otherwise that I really can't be mad. i find myself smelling my skin when i wear this a lot, because it develops so wonderfully. tastefully smooth and subtle, the musk base is very soft and not obtrusive. if you're into cherry as I am, this is a realllyyy good layering fragrance. room 1015 cherry punk with apres ski is pretty much my go-to.

I reaaly like this fragrace but I'm pretty confused. I get cinnamon at the top and pistachio at the base base. Anyone else?

I hope more people gravitate towards Laurel Bath House in the coming years. The reviews I have seen are really hit or miss - but, to me, they fall into the same category as fragrance houses such as: Skylar, Snif, Theodoros Kalotinis, Imaginary Authors and the like. They are relatively affordable, have a cool, imaginative brand, unique packaging, products and fragrances and they are a clean-cruelty free company! What's not to love? As for this fragrance: Apres Ski, I really like it - It is kind of in the same family as Kayali Invite Only, Angel's Share or even Commodity's Whiskey. I'd say Invite Only the most because they both share a prominent cherry note but it is swimming in booze! LOL...It has a touch of woods and musk in the dry-down and has decent longevity and performance - Making it perfect for fall and winter! In fact, there is something decidedly 'Holidays' about this fragrance...I recommend it for Christmas or Thanksgiving for sure!

Instagram got me, it was on sale. I don't know. It's not bad. I like the way it smells. It does have a vintage smell, but it smells modern vintage, if you can imagine that. It smells like ribbon candy you get around the holidays, hard to find these days. It's got a licorce-y, clove scent. The cherry leaves something to be desired, but it is there in a medicinal, cough drop sort of way. It's weaker than I had hoped. But this brand is very "no endocrine disruptor" forward. I don't even know what that means, disrupt them, I don't care, is the perfume good? Anyway, perhaps that's why it doesn't have as much projection as I am used to. Also, ads are like weirdly AI/photoshopped or something, I don't know. I had already purchased it after noticing that, could live without it. Back to the perfume, I will be layering this with some of my other stuff. The box it came in was rather cute.

Apres Ski, I totally get the sitting in front of a fireplace vibe. My nose picks up a smoky scent, making this more unisex if not masculine-leaning. At first I thought it was more a spice like star anise, but then I realized this has a whiskey note which can read smoky. I also get a very slight balsam note. Maybe it is all the Fresh Cut Balsam candles I smell throughout the Holiday season! For some reason, I expected the whiskey to be more of a boozy note, like relaxing with a glass of whiskey in a club chair. However, this is more sitting in said chair, enjoying a fireplace after a day of skiing. I see what they did there!

VERY boozy and spicy, barely any cherry, but not bad necessarily. If you’re looking for cherry, I’d recommend layering it with something like Not Another Cherry by Finery (Lost Cherry would also probably pair well with it but that’s far outside my budget.)

It sounded like a very unisex fragrance that is feminine-leaning, and that is the case. I got a sample to see how my skin would pair with a cherry scent. There isn't a cherry to be smelled, my friend who was in the car with me noted it smelled like a dried plum rather than a cherry. It may be how the whiskey and cherry are interacting with each other. Personally, it is not a scent I will be reaching for because it's quite sharp and tangy. It felt like my nose got hit with a blast of snowy wind. It does project quite strongly, and it stays on the skin and clothes for a long time.

This is boozy in a bright sharp way, not a deep and heady way. Oddly enough it low-key reminds me of Black Orchid but less balanced. I don't hate it but I don't love it either. I think I'll try layering it over an amber scent.

This is simply Whisky 🥃 - all the way. No cherry 🍒 to be had. It’s a regrettable blind buy for me. The imagery of using a woman in their marketing is extremely misleading as this is clearly a masculine fragrance.

What’s with the rip off Diptyque bottle.
