E-Mochi

The perfect marriage of fresh, green fig and fluffy, sweet marshmallow. Two of my favorite uplifting and comforting fragrance notes perfectly combined into one. Needless to say, this has become my signature scent for layering with other marshmallow or fig fragrances and easily my go-to evening unwind scent. I’m already almost through my first bottle and just purchased a back up as I’m afraid they will discontinue the launch and I’m obsessed! Such an affordable price point with their current sale ($58?!). Compared to its sister-fragrance Mochi Milk by Dedcool ($90), this has stronger projecting sillage and better longevity. Especially long lasting when worn on clothes. The opening is a fresh, green, juicy, bright fig which settles into the coziest sweet marshmallow gourmand. Perfect for layering with other fragrances or as a stand alone, it’s such a unique development throughout. Highly recommend for marshmallow and/or fig lovers💖

Similarly to others, I fell for the targeted ads and got 50mL at a very discounted price. With that being said, I thoroughly enjoy the bright green fig note in the opening. For me, the fig note is present for multiple hours but it also develops a nice marshmallow and powdery mochi note as well. When completely dried down, it has a marshmallow and musky skin note which I really enjoy. I've smelled it's sister fragrance Mochi Milk by Dedcool and what I found lacking in the dedcool fragrance (i.e too soft, my nose barely picked it up and for the price I didnt want to commit to a fragrance that lasts for two secinds and doesnt perform well) I found in this one! If you are debating between the two I definitely dont think that you need both

STUNNING & ADDICTIVE! This is everything I wanted Yum Boujiee Marshmallow to be but more! It’s also better than Deadcool Mochi Milk imo. She’s airy, fresh, super feminine & delicately sweet. The fig is lush, bright & green in the opening. The mochi & milk play beautifully together! Creamy, lactonic & cloud-like, slightly sweet & airy! I can’t stand a sickly sweet gooey marshmallow - this is nothing like that. No smoky dry down like YBM nor artificial fruits. Just beautifully blended, an angelic delight! I only wish she lasted longer (or I could be going nose blind to it). Definitely sits close to the skin. I love wearing it to sleep or whenever a little cutesy aroma therapy is needed. Getting a backup bottle asap :)

This was a straight up blind buy with no regrets because although this is a light fragrance (no problem with that) it’s so cute. Yes, this is a cute fragrance. First spritz, you get fig but within a few mins, it becomes fluffy, sweet and somewhat powdery. I am so glad the jasmine note isn’t making an appearance on my body chemistry because i think it would clash. At the moment, i get a Marshmallow Fig scent bubble and I love it so much. Again, this is a very light fragrance so don’t think you’re getting beast mode Sillage or anything. Her presence is there, just on the lowkey. Perfect for those wanting something sweet without being cloying or choking everyone out. Edit: My boyfriend says I smell like Jalapeños 😂

This smells divine, even despite me not loving the fig note at the opening. It’s quite green, but not incredibly so, this is what I thought Milk Orchid would smell like. Milk Orchid was tooooo greeen. e-mochi is a rlly photorealistic scent of mochi, and it’s sweet but not overwhelming. I have smelled dedcool’s Mochi Milk and yes I’d agree they’re really similar. Unfortunately, everything dissipates pretty quickly after — by the third hour I had to press my nose firmly against my wrist to smell it. Maybe I need to apply lotion prior to increase longevity, or apply more bc I usually do 3-4 sprays. But the scent makes up for it ✨The boyfriend keeps sticking his face into my neck to try and smell more hahaha

love love love this perfume! i initially hated because i didn't let it sit a day, but now i reach for it daily! the fig perfectly balances the mochi marshmallow. it does smell kind of synthetic and almost plasticy but it's not enough that it bothers me. the green balances this out perfectly. the projection is amazing and i can smell myself all day. the initial greenness fades away, but the plastic-y ness fades, which leaves a beautiful cozy, slightly powdery, subtle sweet smell. it's such a wonderful everyday scent, sugary sweet, without being overly sweet or sharp.

I bought a decant of this for my daughter because she loves mochi, and marshmallow scents. Her initial reaction was “ Grass in the spring”, but then the marshmallow started to come through. This is a lovely gourmand for warmer climates. I often hesitate to wear marshmallow fragrances , if I know the temperatures will go above 90•F, because I don’t want to suffocate people around me. This is perfect for that weather. I saw that it was originally $120, but it has been marked down to I think $60, and for that price I think it is totally worth it.

This is a very pleasant, warm skin scent on me. Vanilla, rice, and crunchy green figs. The longevity is fairly decent for an intimate skin scent. I purchased because I love a rice scent and I love a fig. I’m fairly happy with this one as a daily driver. The bottle is beautiful and looks almost identical to a Diptyque bottle. I am eagerly awaiting Phlur, dropping their Matcha milk body and hair mist so I can layer these bad boys.

It does smell like a softer version of Nicolai Pavlova, same milky fruity vibe. Great marketing idea to put mochi in the name because it does not smell like mochi in any way (but it made me blind buy it). You could name it Lychee Milk, Raspberry Ice Cream, Pineapple Soda, etc. Abstract creamy fruit salad in a bottle. I love it but there's nothing unique about it.

reminds me of one of the first serious crushes i had on a girl. we used to share clothes and i would always keep mine separate from hers because i thought the smell of me might contaminate how beautiful she smelled. really subtle sweet girlish perfume without seeming infantile or cloying. perfect price point. would recommend this for a gift for a girlfriend.

Instant headache with this one, it's beautiful but my head hurts so badly. Okay so it's now August and I got this in June...she is so delicious!! I smell that fresh fig smell and then it's enveloped by a ever so, sweet mochi gourmand note and she lingers around for a good 4-6 hours on my skin. So yummy

For my skin chemistry, E-Mochi is one of the only sweet fragrances that does not go plastic on my skin. The green fig note is beautiful and gives interest into the scent. I like to layer with other fragrances. Philosykos and E-Mochi is AMAZING together.

Sooo at first I was like, meh... then I sprayed heavily and let it sit. I love it but it does smell like sand and fog vanilla marshmallow or Ellis Brooklyn Marshmallow. It’s airy it’s light. The rice comes much later.

This is so lovely and we’re so incredibly close to the skin. You just smell incredibly sweet and beautiful. It’s not a clean like cotton. It’s more of a delicious, sweet, delectable skin that you want to nuzzle up to.

I really like Dedcool Mochi Milk but I prefer this slightly more. It has a green-ness from the fig that balances the sweetness that Mochi Milk is missing. It's also not as sharp in the opening.

I don’t think this and ded cool mochi milk are all that similar, like this is a lot greener and milky compared to mochi milk and it’s less sweet. I really love this perfume it’s so good omg

It smells exactly like a matcha strawberry daifuku mochi. it’s so beautiful. it’s very marshmallow forward but with a green and slightly spicy fig top. i love it. powdery, girly and sweet.

It’s smells like a marshmallow that dropped in green grass and I’m here for it! I don’t pick up on any other notes but marshmallow and fig (the green grass), lol. To each nose his own.

blind bought this and i can't believe how much i love it

i am somebody that absolutely hates vanilla scents but love fig and musk scents. this is one of the perfumes i bought impulsively when i started my hyper-fixation on perfumery. it never occured to me that marshmallow and vanilla can smell very similar to each other so i initially really hated this perfume. it gave me a headache and the vanilla/marshmallow was so strong that it just made me sick. BUT BUT BUT !! i started experimenting and started applying a little bit less as opposed to how i normally would and i feel like i'm able to properly experience it that way. it's such a balanced gourmand-y musky perfume to me that leans slightly sweet due to the mochi. the greenness of the fig and the sweetness of the marshmallow along with the powdery base made it the perfect gaming perfume for me especially as an effeminate guy. it's so relaxing while also allowing me to feel upbeat. i find myself re-smelling my wrists anytime i get a whiff when i move around. this perfume has been such a journey for me and has really made me appreciate vanilla a little bit more. still hate vanilla tho :3

When I first found this perfume, I was mostly excited by the promise of a scent that had both a milky and green fig scent profile, which this perfume definitely delivers, but mostly only within the first minute of two of spraying. You're first hit with this really crisp leafy greeness instead of anything too fruity or jammy and there's a sweet mellow lactic note lingering in the background. Unfortunately, once the first few notes wear off it becomes more of a basic sweet smell with no complexity. I think it still smells great but I just wish the fig stayed a bit longer since it slowly loses its' fresh quality and ends up leaning too far into gourmand indulgence.

Primarily a fig perfume. I agree with other reviews saying that the fig doesnt go well with the other notes. The combination of the hyperfresh fig and synthetic hypersweet marshmallow makes this smell almost like a urinal cake if you spray it on your body when youre too clean.... couldve benefited from a musky note but obv not wht theyre going for! Very sweet and I get compliments on it so thats cool I guess. Ill keep wearing it when im craving something sweet and fruity

She’s cute as a button. I wouldn’t wear this in the dead of summer, as its sweetness can become cloying to me. The green fig is my favorite part, I just wish it was more prominent. The sweet & powdery mochi is the real leader in this fragrance. This fragrance shouts “PINK!”. She’s pretty. When I want to tone down the sweetness, I mix this with Alluring Fig. This is the closest I will venture into gourmand territory. This strikes a good balance.

I sampled this one. I got the briefest whiff of something sort of sharp/fresh on the front end, which I assume was the fig. Then it immediately settled as sweet, powdery, maybe a little creamy. At times, it actually smells like play-dough...I don’t hate it, it’s just a little odd. But also sometimes I think real life mochi smells a little play-doughy, so maybe it’s accurate. It didn’t give me a headache.

To my nose, it smells like Mochi milk by Dedcool (without turning colognyyy thankfully!) and the Marshmallow bodyspray from Ellis Brooklyn. The fig note is very proeminent tho! It lasted all day on my skin and could still smell it the next day on my sweater.

First impression: this smells both cuter and more plasticky than Alluring Fig by Theodoros Kalonitis. The plastic note is somewhat annoying, I hope it goes away soon, but the overall composition is well balanced and not overly sweet.

It is very sweet, a little powdery sweet but it actually really grew on me. It's a really lovely comfort fragrance and excellent for layering, adds a little extra oomph of comfort.

to me this smells much more green than mochi milk, but i like it for that.

i at first thought that i didn't really like this at all because of the fig note, but i actually think that it might be because of the odd mix between the fig and marshmallow in my nose that comes across as really sharp and overwhelming. i'm genuinely shocked this doesn't give me migraines lol. luckily this sits very close to the skin and i think this may be a good layering perfume with something like kilian princess or miimiic's 52. i don't particularly like it on it's own though. the opening is just too much for me (i.e., my nose just doesn't like the strong combo between the fig and marshmallow/mochi; it's like they're fighting for my olfactory receptors and are both losing lol), and the alcohol at first spray is particularly strong. the dry down is fairly nice though and it settles down to an inoffensive musky sweetness. also, based on other reviews and stuff i've seen, it seems like this company uses AI for their marketing and as an artist i'm pretty disappointed in that tbh :/ like don't get me wrong, i opened the box and thought it was cute, but knowing that all of the art is likely AI is super sad and i probably won't purchase from this house again. at the end of the day, not supporting AI ads is a personal preference for me and i won't tell everyone to never buy from them, but i just wanted to point this out for those who care about it <3

I wasn't thrilled by this one. As a major early internet-era millenial, I was thrilled by the "when the internet was smaller, a portal into a pixel universe" story, but E-mochi didn't evoke blinkies or Xanga or AIM or any of what I hoped. I've been a huge Mochi Milk fan because it is somehow insanely sweet without giving me a migraine (see: 99.9% of sweet gourmands give me migraines but I love their smells). E-mochi smells identical but DOES give me a migraine, which is unfortunate because I broke my no blind-buy rule for the 50% off sale and only own a travel size of Mochi Milk. I'm sure it comes down to the ingredients/extraction methods--unfortunately Laurel Bath House does not show their ingredient list on their website. I sprayed Mochi Milk on one arm and E-Mochi on the other, but genuinely do not smell a difference. I don't pick up the fig or greenness at all. For me it's linear, the same sugar bomb from initial spray to dry down. I'm going to give it more time, hoping that maybe I tried it on a day where I was already unknowingly inching toward a migraine. But this may be a catch and release for me.

I like this a lot, i don't have any fig perfumes in my collection yet so this is somewhat out of my comfort zone. The projection is amazing my friends immediately complimented me when i got into the car which has NEVER happened since i tend to prefer perfumes that wear closer to skin. This starts off as a realistic fig scent for the first hour and dries down into a ricey marshmallowy musk. It's so yummy!! Edit: this is fundamentally a good scent imo but i haven't been reaching for it because the fig opening is super intense and actually gives me a headache sometimes, some days this is very cloying to me but other days its nice. the dry down is always amazing but the opening can be headache inducing Edit 2 lol: I ended up giving this to my friend who loves it, I've learned that it's a little too sweet for my taste and everytime I wear it I just get sick of it. For me, it's lacking some sort of depth.

I thought I would love this based on the notes, but sadly it is a miss for me. Undoubtedly similar to Dedcool's Mochi Milk which I don't care for due to the peach note, so I thought this would be better as it lacks peach. Maybe I'm being haunted by the ghost of synthetic peach, because I swear I'm picking up that same peachiness in E-Mochi despite it not being there. What should be smooth, creamy, and inoffensive is ruined for me by some sharp note that I simply can't describe. My skin chemistry may be part of the equation, but is not the entire problem because while slightly sweeter sprayed on paper, I still detect that one unidentified unpleasant note. For these reasons I would say that E-Mochi is not quite a safe blind buy, even if you love all the notes listed as I do.

For reference, I am not into gourmand. The closest thing I own and like is Dusita Erawan. I blind bought this at a great price also. It reminds me of Debaser by DS & Durga a bit with the fresh fig but instead of coconut milk like Debaser, you get the sweetness like those synthetic flavored mochi at pink sugar, not the handmade plump kind from Japan. I feel like this company make fragrances out of algorithms and trends so there is nothing too deep or original underneath. But it’s pleasant enough.

I blind bought this based off of the notes, sounded like something I could salivate over. But surprisingly it opens up VERY green. This fragrance is really different... I “like” it. But not something I really want to wear. I’ll be Reselling

apparently, i dont really like fig. its definitely not bad, just not for me.

The fig in here is very sharp and doesn't go well with the other notes of the perfume. The softer rice note is interrupted by the fig in the worst possible way. Unlike everyone saying that it smells just like Mochi Milk, I don't smell any resemblances at all. Mochi Milk is a safe blind buy, but THIS is a risky one. I blind bought a full bottle after believing everyone that claimed it smelled almost identical to Mochi Milk. Smelled like burnt rubber and gave me a headache.

Rating: 7.5/10. Serviceable fragrance, unoriginal scent profile, intimate projection, realistic fig note. I don’t see this as a must-buy, but for $30 it’s not the worst fragrance in the world. It did give me a migraine though, which makes this n=1 for perfume-related migraines for me. Fragrance review: My bottle arrived missing more than the usual air gap to support ease of shipping (thermal expansion and leakage concerns). The fragrance opens very similar to Dedcool Mochi Milk, that strong marshmallow scent. I rarely, if ever, smell “alcohol” when I spray perfumes but I do with this one. The fig note is prominent and green. I think those who enjoy eating figs will like how the fig is done. The sweetness is not coming from the fig note, so I’m not sure why other reviewers are saying the fig note is sweet/has sweetness. The fig is less green in the drydown, which is where you get more of the Dedcool Mochi Milk/Ellis Brooklyn Marshmallows scent. IYKYK. The fig is still there is the mid, but not in the full drydown. At that point it is indistinguishable from the aforementioned fragrances. I think this is less sweet than Mochi Milk and sits much closer to the skin. I saw a review saying that this lasts longer than Mochi Milk, no. This lasts for about 2 hours with moderate projection before settling into a skin scent. I’m also being generous when I say “skin scent.” As for the strawberry that some other reviewers got from this instead of the fig, I can smell it if I think of all the ways strawberry can smell but still think it is more fig in impression than strawberry. I can see how someone could get a green wild strawberry note like in Sorce Where the Wild Things Grow v. 1 or v.2 from the way the fig is done here. I don’t love the brand owners’ social media accounts or LinkedIn posts. It seems very “buy my course to learn how to make money.” I don’t really see a passion for perfumery. Their pricing scheme for new fragrances appears to rely on fomo and influencer PR to make sales. If you look at the reviews on Fragrantica, e-Mochi, Cannoli, and Apres Ski have the majority of reviews. These are the fragrances that have the strongest online presence via Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, hence me referring to influencers being used to promote the brand. The same goes for reviews on Reddit and (likely promotional) posts asking if anyone has tried the brand before. That makes me wary of the existing reviews for this fragrance (the ones on Reddit) as it doesn’t seem like they are organically creating a consumer base. The incessant Instagram ads, AI usage, fomo pricing scheme, and tech-bro personalities from the owners has soured me on this brand.

I bought the discovery set. Side note, my original set didnt ship and I reached out and David himself responded and sent me a replacement, no questions asked. I really appreciated that, rare to have a completely pain free customer service experience these days. One of the first perfumes I smelled that made me think 'Wow i don't know what I expected, because the reviews 100% prepared me for this'. Its like mochi milk by dedcool, but with a green none. Gorgeous, but I didn't expect to be able to so CLEARLY smell mochi milk in it. I wish the 'jasmine' was present for me, as that's what I was interested in. As a non-gourmand lover, I like this one better than mochi milk and while I don't really understand what about 'mochi' made inspired them to input a green figgy note in this, I think it would be really lovely on a spring day. Edit: also, this is performing better on my skin than mochi milk did. Although the dry down loses that green note on me.

I’m now wishing I ordered a back up bottle this is so much better than I was expecting. Other reviews here and on socials people talk a lot about the figgy green at the opening but it’s in my opinion perfect for helping this scent smell very unique. It’s not just fluffy marshmallow, it has some airy depth with the fig and mochi. Like a slightly sweet lightly green skin scent with a hint of vanilla, then as it dries down the marshmallow, jasmine and powdery notes I mostly get. It’s yummy for that middle dry down layer! Fully dried down on my I get a sweet brightness almost citrusy, vanilla but not overly sweet, and the lightestttt whisper of rice. I wish the rice was a little stronger then faded to where it is, but it’s still really good. Love their prices points!!!!

yeah it's extremely similar to Mochi Milk but it's more green and crisp because of the fig (rather than the peach in mochi milk), it also lasts a lot longer than Mochi Milk does. I did not like Philosykos so that kinda scared me away from fig but it's a lot more subtle in this. I wouldn't bother getting it if you already have a full bottle of mochi milk. I do wonder if they were intentionally trying to dupe mochi milk because they are THAT similar. I will say the bottle on this is super nice with a magnetic cap and the sprayer is ELITE, like it provides such a nice consistent spray. Also the green notes go away on the dry down and it becomes sweeter and more marshmallow. Husband rated it 10/10

So, its pretty much Debaser opening with a Mochi Milk dry down. Not proud to say after 15 years of collecting marketing of the 90's era got me. Cool scent though, I will probably gift it to someone. If you have Ellis Marshmallow, Caldo Gourmand, Mochi Milk, Debaser you don't need this! If you don't have those and want them get this!! The fig does stay prominent at first the Mochi Milk vibe takes over. In your scent bubble the fig is 70%, sillage is Mochi Milk 100%. Like a figgy pudding bubblegum. Its not bad as I have Kayali Marshmallow, Mochi Milk, Debaser, Vanille Camoflauge, ect its in my vibe category.

This is like if Mochi Milk and Philosykos had a baby, but thankfully for me (I find the fig in Philosykos WAY too green) this is an incredibly wearable fig. The only things I don't like about Mochi Milk are that it's too sweet, it's too short lived, and too synthetic. This has fixed all the issues I hate about Mochi Milk: it tones down the sweetness and replaces the synthetic note with a very natural fig and a jasmine whispering in the background (it's NOT a floral scent) and the longevity is very decent. I enjoyed this one much more than I thought I would!

This smells like if Yara and Philosykos had a baby. I’m not at all a “gourmand girl” so I wasn’t sure if this would be too sweet for me. That said, E-Mochi does an excellent job of balancing out the sweet mochi and marshmallow notes with the green fig and soft white florals. I do wish the green notes stuck around a little longer because the opening is pretty unique but it dries down to a more generic creamy fruit fragrance after about an hour. Longevity isn’t great but the price was affordable and it’s fairly versatile.

This is the only marshmallow note I've ever truly loved (I'm a Black Opium Glitter/LDBS lover, but it's less about the marshmallow in those for me and more about the execution of the orange blossom). I suspect it's the combination of the fig and the truly photorealistic, bouncy-smelling mochi transforming it into something a little more magical. This isn't exactly beast mode but it's SO comfy-cozy and pretty without being sickeningly sweet. Crazy for something I just bought off a targeted Instagram ad.

This is similar to Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow, but I prefer this. This is both more fresh and more creamy. It retains that pink starburst opening that YBM has, it doesn't become deeper or more powdery like it does. I also get a little bit of dewy grass. To me it genuinely smells like going to Taco Bell back in 2014 when they had those pink starburst freezes. Early morning, you roll down your window, you can smell the dew. I really love it, it's nice and airy and bright

Honestly it does open super green surprisingly!! But I like it! My husband doesn’t like the opening at all but once it’s been on the skin for a bit he really liked it. it changes to a whole different vibe to a sweet cozy marshmallow scent. Not at all cloying to me like other marshmallow perfumes. And it smells really cozy and fresh. Perfect for spring. Really happy with this.

Im obsessed. Had it 12 hours and have worn it to sleep and pilates. It lasts maybe 3-5 hours on my skin so I need to reapply. I might just get another bottle and cannoli as well since it’s gotten good reviews. I have musk muagwa from daiso korea and caudalie fig oil which ive also tried with this. Both bring out the fig more but make it creamier so theyre great for layering.
