Prune Jasmin

Unisex for sure . Opening is a sweet and very zesty sugared plums. Dries down to a gorgeous vanilla musk with that zestiness of sugared sweets that keeps making appearances depending how the wind blows . An amazing scent that makes me want to buy backups .

Plum. Not quite depthy or syrupy-sweet enough to be reminiscent of sticky plum jam. Not quite crisp & green enough to be the entire slightly unripe fruit. Not quite floral enough to be the tree in full bloom. To me, Prune Jasmin is a plum clafoutis. There is a sour-fruit plum, a warm vanilla batter base sprinkled with crunchy brown sugar. It becomes a little too sweet for my tastes as it settles but gourmand vanilla-fruit lovers with a sweet tooth should give it a go.

Lovely rich fruity plum that dies down to a jasmine vanilla with the sweet plum receding into the background. Starts out with quite a punch but within an hour wears fairly close to the skin. My husband asked me if I had tobacco (we don't smoke), I think there is a note that smells like those rich cigars dipped in port. If you like fruity perfumes this is definitely worth a try.

Youthful but not juvenile. Sweet but not cloying. I mostly pick up the berries, musk and vanilla. Great for warmer weather! This brand is truly one of my favourites when it comes to gourmand fragrances!

To me, this is not a deep, mature scent. Rather it is fruity and playful. Reminds me of I Am Juicy Couture in genre.

Laurence Dumont has produced a nice range of inexpensive and practically edible perfumes with its Les Senteurs Gourmandes series. I find that they all smell quite natural, even when I am pretty sure, as in the case of Prune Jasmine, that the sweet fruitiness must have been re-created synthetically. The plum is much stronger than the jasmine scent in this composition, verging on jam with a few flower petals scattered on top. If you already know that you dislike fruity-floral perfumes, then you probably are not considering this one, but for anyone who likes the genre, I would recommend Prune Jasmine any day over every celebrity scent I've ever tested. Also compares favorably with L'Artisan Parfumeur M&M, another purple fruit potion. I am reminded of a Britney Spears creation, except that this one is much better made and not headache-inducing to me. But it is rather sweet!

It's very close to the L'Artisan masterpiece Traversee du Bosphore, trust me, i have gone trough almost a full bottle of that one. I cant find neither plum or jasmin in this scent but well the sweet scent of turkish delights/nougat, candied red apple, dried fruits and in the top the dry leather note that makes the Traversee so uniqe. Prune Jasmin is not as complex or heavy as Traversee but close enough to satisfy my longing for a new bottle of the quite expensive L'Artisan. If you haven't tried Traversee don't dismiss my review because of the notes mentioned above;) This is a beautiful scent and a nice surprise-blindbuy! It also last for at least 6-7 hours!

Prune Jasmin has a lovely plum fragrance. It is not too sweet, yet it is not too sour, either. It a very wearable fragrance for any time whether it be the office or for a night out. This is one of the few fruity fragrances that is not overpowering like so many of the other fruity fragrances out on the market right now. It is a pretty fragrance that is geared more for adults than teens.

I agree with fadedglory, Prune Jasmin is heady but feels light as well, and it is very sweet - like a tarty vanilla fruit fest really. I like it very much, but I will layer it with another scent to dim the sweetness a little - something like Jovan Musk or Glowing by JLo; I think it would work nicely layered with Figue Sauvage by Laurence Dumont as well.

completely edible fresh plum, slightly tart, supported by a sort of effervescence and some sugar. It's really well done: I've tried some very tired artificial smelling plums that smelled cloying. this is sweet but not cloying. The sugar is a bit much. I'll wait for the dry down.

Same plum as in So New York Bond 9 (with dark cocoa) and as in PDM Cassili (with more floral sweetness), but here it is more woody and jammy, rather than going too much into the white florals (as "jasmin" notes suggest)

Very very very sugary, smells almost like candies, jelly bears, exactly this smell! I also get a ittle jasmine but not very proeminent. What stays is that candy smell, in a way unusual. Strange but lovely and playful!

It is wonderful. It's heady but light and distinctive. I will buy more
