Lavande Noire

I review what is considered one of the best lavenders scent. I can only confirm it. It is said that the Fairy Lavadula, with blue eyes and long blond hair, wanted to find a place to settle and, leafing through a book, she chose Provence, a land, at the time, arid and bare, so that the fairy began to cry from displeasure for those places. Her lavender-blue tears fell on the pages of the book, staining them. To remedy her damage, the fairy tore out a piece of the sky to cover the stains and so all the fields in Provence were covered with expanses of highly scented blue flowers, those of lavender. A lavender which initially, I won't deny it, left me speechless for a moment: at the opening explodes in all its strength, then it becomes exceptionally sensual, clean, accompanied by a pinch of rum and a noble incense. I find it melancholy at times, because in addition to being a wonderful flower, it has the characteristic of maintaining its scent for a long time even when dried, and perhaps projecting us into memories, whether good or bad. Omg i love love love this! I blind bought it, and i couldn't be happier. While it is reminiscent of other lavender perfumes, this one has an angle all its own. It must be the gray amber and frankincense that is taking to a whole other level. Omg. I am not sure which notes are giving it such an amazing depth and character, but it seems to me that some of the notes, when combined as they are in this composition, take on an extra depth. I almost smell a warm nutty vanilla undercurrent, which I am enthralled by. Wowza! I had high hopes for this one, but it has far exceeded my wildest imagination. Sooooo good! Lavender-y nutty warm vanilla silk blanket of ecstasy!! This will easily be a new favorite.

Beatiful fragrance ! In the opening i get a really sweet Lavander with rum and i also smell honey all binded toghether by a very pleasent incense that starts to develop especially in the dried down of the frag ! Though it has incense in it the lavander still smells bright luminescent and sweet. This do not fails to impress me to be honest. In the dry down it gets smokier and a beatifull amber accord evelops the whole scentbase giving it the felling of a sweet yet friendly warm hug. The huge problem with this fragrance is performances, very light projection and even worse longevity... It doesn't go past the 1/2 hrs mark and it stays very close to the skyn a bit of a disspaointment given the beauty of the scent. Mark: 7.0 (Just because of the performances)

I purchased the 15ml travel size after testing it in store, a little over a year ago. The bottle is nearly empty now — which says a lot. This is a wonderfully balanced, unisex composition, where lavender, amber, and incense intertwine beautifully. It wears effortlessly as a daily scent in colder weather, especially for work. Distinctive without being loud, it feels both elegant and unique.

I like it, but incense a little bit ruins it. Lavender has to be bright and fresh for my taste, but incense brings opposite feeling, so initially it’s confusing, but after it settles down i like the smell, but not love it. Gave it to my husband and he liked it very very much.

Synthetic amber and lavender. 2/5

Starts with a very nice lavender which fades fairly quickly to make way for a rubbery amber and a touch of incense. Long lasting and clings to my skin but barely projects.

Lovely, smooth, more on the masculine side.
