Radikal Iris

Beautiful scent. Iris is here in its cold glory. But it lasts half an hour or even shorter. Its intimate, close to skin. Such a pitty

A very sweet fougère-like iris totally identical to Silver Iris by Aterlier Cologne...they both take the path of sweetness in an not really successful contrasted accord between the chalky/dry texture of iris rizome and the sweet barbershop type of the other notes. Mhew...

This is not the well known floral iris that everyone knows. It's different, I'd say it feels like the root of the iris with a semi-edible quality mixed with woods. I get a strange iris smell, a lot of cedar, a mild sub-sweet vibe from the tonka beans, mild musk, faint amber. I do not get galbanum which I love.. This is a discreet scent with soft to moderate projection and moderate sillage. Longevity is good, long lasting but most of the time only you will smell it.

When first sprayed, it reads more masculine. Also, I got prominent patchouli. But the drydown is unisex. The cedar, musk, Iris come through. But the patchouli still bothers me. In many cases, that note doesn’t work for me.

Wow, people thought this was strong? I got a faint whiff of hairspray, then a flash of carroty, dense orris root, then nothing. Nothign at all. It didn't last ten minutes on me and I am normally an undersprayer extraordinaire, as I don't like my scent to project into my environment (I have friends with really bad fragrance allergies). This just vanished now matter what I did.

This is so-so strong, heavy iris. I am not a fan of iris, but this is over the edge. Woody, heavy, buttery iris, too concentrated. Night out scent for those who adore iris. The only iris I like is in Hermessence Paprika Brasil.
