The force (cardamom, nutmeg and coriander) is strong in this one. However long I wear this, which took some maneuvering to get because it's an exclusive and not so easily obtainable in the U.S, the cardamom, nutmeg, and coriander remained very prominent throughout each stage. Amber and sandalwood do warm up and add to the nuttiness with musk holding down the fort, but I wouldn't particularly describe this fragrance as woodsy or even woody. It's earthy, yes, but more emphasis on the spices side of earthy. Maybe a little green. I could trick myself into imaging some mint in there, but I don't think there is any. I also find there's a soapy, clean feeling somewhere in there while I expected something darker and more resinous which is a bit of surprise. If you're not a fan of cardamom, coriander, or nutmeg, seriously pass this one. Think mulled spices; a tad Christmasy if there were pine. Steers masculine. I enjoy it enough, but I can't say it's one of my favorite LM Parfums. That said, it's projection and longevity are decent; a quality crafted fragrance.
