Vanilla Blossom

The most perfect vanilla scent. All the notes are balanced and smooth. It develops so well. First, I get a deep vanilla with a perfect mix of rose it feels so classy. No teenage super sweet vanilla. A womanly vanilla. Jasmine comes in later soft but noticable gives it a more flirtatious vibe. And the lasting power is just amazing My skin that most perfumes last a mere 4 hours. But this 6 hours strong in the dry dessert heat! This from a natural perfume and one spray. What sorcery is this!!??

This one is another amazing scent by la vanilla. I have a 50 ml bottle I found in Winners for just $24. So glad I bought it. It's really beautiful, long lasting and yummy. I haven't seen this one for sale at sephora, so maybe it's discontinued. I like the other scents by la vanilla, so I'm not particularly disappointed that I won't find it again.

It's one of my very favorites of Lavanila's scents, and it smells nothing at all like Flowerbomb. It's long-lasting, it's not sickly sweet, it's very soft and pretty, and it's actually one of my very favorite scents from any house. It's also one of the rare perfumes that doesn't make me ill.

Flowerbomb is much sweeter and less floral than Vanilla Blossom, in my opinion. VB has a slightly sour edge to it, probably from the lemon. It's very pleasant and long-lasting. A perfect winter daytime scent!

I've read, that it's similar to V&R's Flowerbomb. Well, I haven't sniffed Flowerbomb yet, but I have a sample of Montale Vanilla Extasy and I find lot of similarities between that one and Vanilla Blossom. (But if you read VE-s reviews, perhaps it's similar to Flowerbomb, too...) Vanilla Blossom is a comforting scent, I think, it's well-balanced, not cloying sweet, has a fresh side, too. On my skin it has a good sillage and lasts long. So, if you like Vanilla Extasy (or Flowerbomb), you should try this one, too. Good quality for half price...

The distinctive feature of these modestly priced Lavanila Laboratories vanilla-centric fragrances is supposed to be that they are good for you, being packed with antioxidants, among other coveted-in-the-twenty-first-century ingredients. These creations are apparently all natural, made of organic substances such as Goji Berry, Willowherb, and "hydrating Olive Leaf". According to the house literature, the fragrances also provide a "healthy dose of 30 essential vitamins & minerals and 19 amino acids." No other perfume house, to my knowledge, makes such claims, and since perfume is not regulated by the FDA, I suppose that this may or may not be true. I will say that these creations do smell natural, and they do not induce any of the sorts of symptoms of queasiness and malaise which sometimes result from wearing cheap chemical soup-type fragrances. So maybe they are good for you? Who knows? They don't feel bad, and they smell perfectly fine. The name of the house "Lavanila Laboratories" seems infelicitous to me, as it suggests just the sort of scenario which some of us wish to avoid: the ultra-abstract, "no plants were sacrificed in the production of this juice," which may or may not be good for us, since it has never been tested by anyone but the consumers, the consequences of which may or may not ever emerge since any ailment can be attributed to any number of chemical exposures in the modern urban world. Anyway, Vanilla Blossom smells a bit more flowery than most vanilla solinote perfumes, so this entry in the Lavanila collection strikes me as well-named. To my nose, the florals smell yellow and more akin to mimosa than anything else. The longevity is not very good, but maybe that's okay, since "they say" that the more you spray on, the better! A few reviewers have compared Vanilla Blossom to Flowerbomb. I respectfully disagree. The sweetness level is nowhere near that of Flowerbomb.

The first time I heard Sarah McLaughlin she was playing live on the radio in Los Angeles. The DJs interviewing her were having a hard time concentrating because she's so beautiful, looks like an angel, and has such a beautiful voice to match. Mostly, it was because they said she smelled like vanilla. Ever since then, I've tried to imagine what perfume she wears. What perfume would an angel like her wear?? I've come to believe it has to be this one, Lavanila Vanilla Blossom. Listen to her Christmas album, which sounds like watching flickering candlelight in the frosty white snow, and that's how I would describe this vanilla. Like the finest cream colored cashmere sweater, this fragrance is all at once soft and warm, and sexy the way clean smells sexy. It's vanilla with floral accents rather than a floral with a vanilla base- if that makes sense. It's not a cutesy or fruity vanilla, not a boozy vanilla, but a deep warm smoldering candlelight vanilla. It really has to develop on the skin to fully blossom and to be fully appreciated.

I think I need to wear this all day and then give a full review, but for now this is my impression: This perfume is an exact dupe of Flowerbomb! Okay, I know everyone compares every perfume to Flowerbomb (ugh, so annoying!) but it REALLY does smell like it. I own Flowerbomb and La Vie Est Belle and the second I sprayed this, I was like, uh oh! Okay, don't get me wrong, I LOVE Flowerbomb, but I don't need a third bottle of this type of scent. I only got this (blind buy from Mar$halls) because it was so cheap and I couldn't believe I found anything by LaVanilia at Mar$shalls! Overall, for the price it's a great alternative to the quite expensive Flowerbomb and La Vie Est Belle, but I don't know if owning it in addition to those two is really necessary.

I totally have to agree with Sweetiepea161616 this could totally be a dupe for Flowerbomb but also its really similar to the Vince Camuto. I already own Vince Camuto so I might not be able to justify adding/keeping this to my collection. It also get the spicy almost boozy opening that is in Vince Camuto. I kind werided out but how similar these actually are.... The heart of this fragrance does seem to be lighter and tad bit more floral, but I'm still getting a way too familiar vibe. This would be a great option is someone was looking for a cheaper dupe of Vince Camuto or Flowerbomb. I also blind bought this at a discount store...but even though I read the reviews I did not expect them to be so closely related...

this is so so nice vanilla it is very similar to burt's bees Gud Vanilla Flame lotion scent which I get compliments on every single time I wear it. Vanilla Blossom is definately more on the vanilla than floral and just enough spice to make it interesting - my favorite vanilla after a very long intense search and I think it is more vanilla ish than the lavanila pure vanilla

I keep looking for amber in the notes and there isn't any mention of it. But I do think its there because my skin AMPLIFIES amber to the point that I can't smell anything else. The only way I can wear any is if it is just a small amount and blended well. Pity, the reviews sound lovely.

I agree with others, this smells a lot like Flowerbomb. Sillage is not very good. I doused myself and nobody could smell it on me. Might be willing to swap in the US
