Blue Laverne

I will begin with I don't understand the hate towards Laverne for collaborating with master perfumers and models. So what! Dozens of designers use the same names and churn out mediocre products, I don't see anyone whining about that! OK, rant over... As a female I really enjoy Blue Laverne, even though in my opinion it does lean slightly masculine. But lately the trend is for unisex fragrances and I do own some good unisex ones already, like Ibrahim Al Qurashi Tobacco line up, Gissah and Emirates Pride. Blue Laverne is fresh yet oriental, a very unique balance. It's opens up citrusy but you can get whiffs of the bakhur in a very pleasant way. Nothing church or incensey about this one. I bought the Little Garden set along with Miss Laverne, which is another hit from this house. And I received 5 bottles of 10mls. Blue Laverne is now on my full bottle worthy purchase list for sure.

Uplifting and fresh citrus fragrance. Based on price point and performance, believe it is a great gym scent or something fresh that will work for a spray on prior to running an errand ie something to freshen up for 1-2 hrs effort. Value for money and very nicely done. Unisex to slightly masculine leaning. Very versatile. Shukran Habibi!

Immense value for money. Super rich, opulent and powerful. This can easily be 3 times it’s price. I had to get all 3 flankers as well. One with hacivat twist called sports and Bukhoor lasts even longer and very similar to Bvlgari Gyan.

Laverne is doing an excellent job as a relatively new niche perfumes house. The presentation of the perfume is very attractive and they offer a 5 ml decant to try it out. The perfume starts with citrus notes , lasts for about 15 minutes on my skin. Then the middle notes emerges here you smell the incense and the green earthy dry patchouli. The jasmine supports the middle notes yo give the perfume this creamy feeling making the introduction for the base notes of musk and cedar. Uniqueness 6/10 Projection 8/10 Longevity 8/10 Sillage 7/10

Not fresh to my nose, main notes I smell is the incense, spice and smokiness (leather in the dry down as well). Does not smell like bdc or dylan blue, maybe the incense is what people find similar but blue Laverne takes it to another level. Performance is insanely strong; I don't know why a lot of these reviews are saying its weak. I have a new batch from April 2024, and it lasts me about 10 hrs on skin, 12+ hours on clothes. Scent: 7.5/10 Performance: 10/10

Don’t be mislead by the comparisons to Dylan blue and blue de channel this is barely alike. It’s very close to Bvlgaris Gayes, I’ve smelled the original side by side with this and it’s around 80% close. Opens up with creamy citruses, smoke and the clean powdery note is dominant thru out, it’s linear and enjoyable at times but gets boring if you’re not a fan of the DNA. Works in almost all seasons. Scent 7/10 Longevity 7/10 Projection 7/10 Overall 7.4/10

Over hyped. The scent is nice. Performs for about 3 hours before becoming a skin scent. Take care, this brand has 3 perfumes called blue. One is called Blue with a dark blue bottle, the second is Blue Tiger with a white bottle and very light blue liquid, and the third is Blue Bakhur with a light blue bottle.

To me the new batches are weaker than the original batches. That niche sensation is just gone. But still decent performance with good value. For work if you work in office. Or supermarket. 7.5 / 10.

This is a really good summer fragrance Opens up citrusy and then dries down to a smokey/woody/musky for the rest of the day.

First time trying a Saudi fragrance house and I blind bought Blue Laverne after seeing many comparisons to Bvlgari’s Gyan, which I consider one of the best patchouli scents out there. From the first spray I could tell the DNA was close. I love using it on my dishdasha more than on skin. Great projection and solid longevity. Pretty decent overall and a nice surprise for the price.

pretty ordinary. i dont know what the hype is all about. Yes its a clone of bvlgari but a pretty cheap one if you compare it side my side. its like perfume oil / ittar mixed with ethanol and few other cheap fixatives. no separation of notes or layers in it. armaf afnan and few othrs like rassasi ajmal are now doing a better job at cloning as they do it themselves by reverse engineering process in machines and then using sub standard materials to construct them which ultimately gives a better result than just mixing perfume oil in alcohol base which is in this case, and other houses like Dua, ahmed al magribi, albait de mashqi etc. one should rather concentrate on the quality of the juice than just spending $ on master perfumers for their name and models for their face in advertisements on insta and tick tok

Be careful from the misleading comments 🚨 It’s over hyped it doesn’t project at all become a skin scent immediately imo dose not worth it Don’t waste your money as i did

Its Pretty Strange at times what different notes different noses pick up! To me this is an extremely loveable concoction of blue notes and oudy smoky elemnts! Its nothing like any other blue fragrance n trust me ive tried alot of them. Its an interesting twist to blue fragrances with lavernes own smoky touch and the quality projection sillage are all well worth the price!

It is a clone of Bvlgari Gyan, do not be misleaded by Tiktokers and paid reviewers, it has nothing to do with Versace Dylan Blue at all, it is completely different, even not fresh and not summer fragrance, it is heavy with leather and incense making it more suitable for cold weather. Nevertheless the perfume is amazing, very classy and elegant if you like this DNA.

I havent tried this or anything from this house yet, but i smelled it on someone before and i thought he was wearing Silver Mountain Water by Creed, i guess it shares the same DNA. Can any one confirm if it is in that DNA?

I finally received my bottle, I really like the smell of Bvlgari Gyan, yes it is a copy of Gyan, a 90% more durable version, I recommend it... If Bvlgari Gyan costs $360 minimum. this one cost me $100 Aroma 10/10

one of my favorite summer perfumes its definitly more muscline i am a girl and i love it its so clean and reminds me of a swimming pool or a fancy hotel

Seriously destroyed my sinus and really lead to respiratory problems like chest spams kindly avoid whatever is the perormance this is really harmful

It’s leathery marine scent type smells like ombre leather by TF and it’s amazing I can’t describe it

I really like this, kinda of Dylan Blue/Bleu De Chanel vibe. For the money it's a easy grab. 8/10
