Milky

I recently bought the travel size for this gorgeous perfume, and I LOVE it! It smells really creamy, milky, cinnamon, vanilla and hazelnutty. Personally I think it smells just like chai latte. Milky was my favourite of all the layer+ fragrances, I don't really layer it though, I just wear it as is and its really nice. Great for an all round perfume, wearable at any time of year at any time of the day!

I quite like the Layer+ line, three out of four smell interesting enough to warrant a place on my wish list and Milky is the first one that I’ve bought (10ml travel size). Milky is pretty much exactly as mentioned above in the notes: sweet, nutty, lactonic. I don’t get much wood but I do get a little cinnamon. To me this smells quintessentially like winter/Christmas but I will keep on wearing it to see how it does in other seasons. Performance is pretty good, it’s a skin scent in both longevity and projection, but with a little more kick to it. Small con, and this goes for pretty much all four of the Layer+ frags, they’re not really original. They all smell like something I’ve definitely smelled before. Milky is a mix of This is Her, Bianco Latte (much lighter tho!) and other lactonic vanillas that are out there right now. Milky is kind of simple and that is exactly what it needs to be, something easy to wear on its own or mixed with something. I’m not much of a layering fan so I wear it on its own and it’s definitely nice enough for that. Woody has been ordered as well and Fruity is on the wish list for spring/summer. The travelsizes are really cheap (€25 for 10ml) so give them a try if you like decent quality for a very good price.
