This scent is absolutely gorgeous! It has wonderful depth and something mysterious. It's what I imagine james bond smelled like in the early movies when he was impersonated by sean connery. When I wear it I can't stop smelling my arm, it's just pure bliss. Even so when my partner wears it. Can't wait to try it out in the summer.

I layer this with angel dust and it’s amazing

Genetic Bliss, Angel Dust and a tiny bit of Bois Imperial/Ganymede. It is quintessential Givaudan. Nice, good quality, but not very original. But that wasn’t the intention with all the Layer+ so for the price it is a decent fragrance! I had been looking for a sale on 27 87 Genetic Bliss for a while. I love this scent, but it is way too pricey. I don't smell the mentioned alternatives like Molecule 01 and 04 very well. Wonderwood, also an option according to Fragrantica, I just don't find comparable. But this Woody Layer + comes very close. I haven't worn them side by side, so I'm commenting from memory. But if you are looking for a more affordable Bliss, you should definitely give this one a try. Especially for the first 2 to 3 hours, it seems very similar to 27 87. Eventually, it changes to dry wood. I'm going to get a bottle 👍 Edit, worn it a few times now. I like it, but it is actually quite linear. Because of this, it starts to annoy me a bit after a certain time. Not in the sense that I don't like it anymore, but I get the urge to hold my breath. I don't know exactly why, but it gives me a bit of the same effect as when you stand over ammonia or something similar for a long time. It takes on a chemical quality you want to escape. The final phase isn't pleasant either. It shines particularly brightly between 15 minutes and an hour. But then again, it's probably very personal.

I love this! It's woody, but also very molecullar and sophisticated. I use this alone, or to layer. I tried a sample of Can't get enough by Initio, which I found too sweet and thick. It really came to life when I layered this over top. I got a mini as a gift with purchase, but I will for sure going to be buying a full bottle. Lovely!
