Black Cavalier VI

Just received this after hearing rave reviews. Firstly the scent. Initially it reminded me of a fresher version of Wanted By The Night and as it settled, to my nose, it comes across woody and powdery and slightly peppery. You can really identify the sandlewood and cedarwood but most of all you can detect the violet. A nice unique scent and I would say would suit a more mature guy. Now the disappointment. The performance is not great and disappears quickly with limited longevity and no projection. However, this is a February 26 batch and strangely reassuring this starts off with a alcohol blast which can only mean that this will benefit from some maceration. Although not ideal I will wait 6 weeks and update then. UPDATE: After 6 weeks of allowing to sit the performance has definitely improved. The initial alcohol blast has also gone and the quality has improved even more so. Definitely recommend and am enjoying it now. I would say it comes across very classy and suitable for evening wear. BTW, the atomiser is rubbish!

#1673 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Really nice, simple, sandalwood scent in the Calvin Klein “Eternity for Men” vein, and there are hundreds just like it, some for under $20 that are also a little synthetic like this, such as Lanvin “L’Homme”, "Asdaaf Ameer al Arab Imperium”, O Boticario “214 African Sunrise”, Armaf “Edition One.” I have or have had them all. I think for this vibe Penhaligon “Endymion” is at the top of the pile, but it’s about double the price of this scent. This has good longevity and projection. Not a bargain, but not overpriced. Versatile for any use. But you might want to get a $4.99 2ml sprayette from scentwithsense.com to make sure you’ll be happy with it. With so many decanters out there today I don’t blind buy anything over $50 anymore. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

I got my nose on this about a week ago in a Middle Eastern store that has literally 1500+ fragrances, mostly oud, saffron and rose. This scent stood out to me because of how high quality it smells. Had to go back to pick it up today, for $59, it was a steal! Wore it on my way home with a few stops and got one compliment. The woods in the dry down is where it really shines.

My signature scent, loud projection for 3 hours at least and last full week on clothes. Pleasant and unique scent. I saw some reviewers resemble it with Santal 33, in my opinion it has nothing to do with Santal 33. The closest perfume to it is Montblanc Explorer Platinum

I bought this fragrance a couple of weeks ago, and it was pretty unique and strong. Got a couple of compliments on it throughout the day. Great new Middle Eastern fragrance, I'll say, and worth adding to the collection.

I see people saying Black Cavalier VI by Lebonheur smells similar to this! Can someone please confirm? To me Black Cavalier VI is a twist on Santal 33! From where do ppl get Blue Talisman Resemblence?

10/10 Airy Sandlewood Just got this and it performs straight out the bottle Scent is beautiful Ps I think there are accounts leaving reading reviews but this perfume was great for me.

At this price point (£24 delivered from TikTok) it’s a bargain. But I do find it very synthetic and couldn’t fully get on with it for that reason. On first spray, I actually get a saffron-like impression, but it quickly becomes clear that it’s not. Instead, it opens airy and fresh, with a well-balanced blend of bergamot and ginger. The sage and violet come through adding a subtle aromatic and powdery edge. As it dries down, sandalwood, cedar, and patchouli add depth but without becoming too heavy. Overall, it’s an airy, aromatic, woody, slightly peppery fragrance that’s an easy, every day reach that feels quite unique. Easy to wear, versatile across seasons, and perfectly suited for the office, gym or as a daily driver with good projection and performance to back it up. But it is synthetic and i can only assume that this is due to the ingredient quality or lack of.

This Fragrance is really a good, very unique. Well balanced.
