Black Cavalier XI

Clean, sweet, and powdery scent. I found it similar to the original JPG. Even put them side by side and they smelled alike. I found this one to be a more modern take on the DNA which I’m a big fan of. This is instantly a classic and a signature scent. If you like soft spicy, sweet and fresh fragrances, this is an easy grab. Works all year round and is an easily likeable fragrance.

Valuable perfume considering its great smell and longevity (easily +10 hours). I like it so much that I’ve bought it twice. For me, it’s a true joker perfume. Guys, I’m from Bahrain, where the summer temperature reaches 45°C and above. I work outdoors, and even in this extreme heat, this perfume performs amazingly well.

It remindes me of Spice Bomb EDT the original.

A spicier Spicebomb for the most part, I'd place this about halfway between the original and the Extreme, and some touches of Infrared. After a few days it feels like a hybrid of Spicebomb, its flankers, and aspects of Althair. More Reflection 45 parts than original Reflection, if this is indeed meant to be a hybrid of SB and Reflection. On day 1 I wasn't getting much other than the SB profile, but had literally just arrived out of the delivery van when I tested. It's quite a dry feeling fragrance. Some spice (I get a clear red chilli aspect), some lighter airy and clean aspects, and some density from the tonka/vanilla/amber. It seems to be balancing out more each day. Surprised at the absence of tobacco in the notes, because I can smell it. The drydown also reminds me of some aspects of Herod and Tobacco Vanille. I'm more impressed on day 2 than day 1, however it seems far less strong a scent than I anticipated and hoped for. Perhaps it will improve more and more with time. Spans a few scent ideas for me; whether that affects it having its own character remains to be seen.

It reminded me of Spicebomb from the first time I sprayed it, but less spice and easier to wear. The price is reasonable.
